Authentic Italian wood-fired pizzas, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian, amazing taste of flavours. The ambience has an old-school vibe. This is one of the best pizza places I've tried in quite some time.
Aastha gupta
Authentic Italian. The food was so upto the mark, the drinks were also nice. Ambience was okayish. Some live music would have added icing on the cake. Pizzas are the must try.

Amazing food, great service, and perfect atmosphere. You can actually see them prepare the pizza right in front of you in the dome oven.
Nikil Harinarthini
I genuinely walked into this place without checking any reviews, to my surprise they had pretty good options and taste was great too. Everything about this place is good, The only part that pinched me was that they took so long to serve If you are a vegetarian, them i would highly recommend their potato Hashbrown Taste 4/5 Ambience 4.5/5 Service 3/5 Value for money 4/5 Overall 4/5

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Piccola Roma Pizza, an Italian restaurant that left me absolutely mesmerized. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warm and an inviting ambiance. The menu boasted a delightful selection of authentic Italian dishes, prepared with the finest ingredients and bursting with flavors. Each bite transported me to Italy, and the attentive staff ensured a memorable experience. If you're a fan of Italian cuisine, then this place is a must-visit. Prepare to indulge in a culinary journey that will leave you craving for more!

Me and my friend had Quatro Formaggi which is one of the best pizzas I had in India. I like the dough and the pizza sauce as well. It was just enough. I also liked the starter we had. I forgot the name. 😊
Aswin Raj
These guys do serve awesome authentic wood fired pizza till 2AM, and it has a really good ambience, too

I'd say a 4.5 After several change of plans and deliberations we reached Piccola Roma with very little expectations. The experience was delightful though. Pizzas are fresh, made right in front of you and extremely flavourful. The steak and caprese were okay. But the staff hospitality is top notch. Quick service, honouring requests, and serving with courtesy. All in all a good dinner experience. Don't miss the curry leave plant (quite a huge one) near their washroom.

Best Italian taste, atmosphere was good. If you want to have pure Italian taste then this is best place in Goa for that. The margarita pizza with Italian imported floor was of course one of the best choice to have best Italian taste. The pasta was also good infact it has very good taste. Overall I can say this is best place to have Italian dinner in Goa. Even the service and staff behaviour was extremely good and beyond the satisfaction.

We LOVE the Burrata Salad here! Super fresh, and delicious. Their pizzas are amazing too! The dough is just perfect, and the cheese quality is great. Definitely one of the best Italian restaurants around. The service can be improved though.

Visited this place for dinner and tried out their pastas and hand tossed pizza. They have various kinds of options in pizza and pastas. I tried 3 types of pastas and really enjoyed the flavours! They make their own cheese and gelato. Also their desserts are outstanding and a must try!

✨Piccola Roma✨ . Few days a go we visited this pizza heaven and i honestly can't wait to go back there! With a vast variety of thin crust pizza, this place will definitely make your heart sing with all their Italian beauties! Was surprised me teh most ( and made me extremely happy) was the fact that their bases are made up of wheat flour 😍 Isn't that amazing? . Here's to all what we had! 🍕 Quattro Formaggi 🌟 4/5 🍕Mari E Monti 🌟5/5 🍕 Siciliana 🌟 5/5 🍕Napoli 🌟4.5/5 🍕Pollo affumicato 🌟4/5 . This was paired with some refreshing Kombucha Mojito and sangria ( you have have to try out the kombucha Mojito🤤) . Not to forget how their Tiramisu was to die for ❤️ . . Thank you @piccolaromaitalian for having me over! Loved the vibe!

Piccola Roma is one of the best Italian restaurants in calangute goa.
The only thing which distinguishes this place from others is their unique wood fired pizzas and pastas with true Italian flavors. Service is fast and you get to see the pizza being made right in front of your eyes which is very interesting and an amazing experience altogether. The pizzas are completely different from the ones you get anywhere else. Ambience of the place is also very calm and pleasant with cozy and comfortable seating arrangements. Absolutely loved this place.

Very bad preparation of veg pizza. It is not at all worth trying this place in Goa.
Nagoriprachi
amazing place.. loved the pizza here. will surely visit every time i am in goa
Sumeet Shinde
The food is amazing. The wood fired oven Pizza is very delicious. They have a wide variety in the menu. Definitely worth a visit.. Pasta was a bit under spiced.
Loved the Vibes
Vibha Raj
Loved veg lasagna its a must try!!

Awesome restaurant with ambience, Taste and Service

Unfussy comfortable space, always a good meal here. The pizzas are very fresh and brick oven made in minutes but their meat quality is better than most of what I've had around Goa. Cured gently and aged well the hams just fall apart at their fibers. Excellent bread too, the salami platter is my favorite. In general the antipasto / salads and appetizers are fantastic I could fill up on those.

Went there on a weekday evening.....only we were there.....food was terrible.....ordered a pasta and pizza.....in the name of bell pepper, only capsicum were used.....Penne Arrabiata pasta was pathetic....just a red tomato sauce.....food was so terrible.....oregano were flavourless and there was no frgarance in it at all.....who keeps expired oregano!!!....absolutely worthless.....DON'T.....simply don't visit this place!!!
Anupama T Rodrigues
Visited this place on the basis of 4* reviews but honestly, it deserves only 1*. Worst Italian cuisine joint. Very average ambience with average service and food quality very poor. Sorry state or toilet. I am very particular about washrooms. Ordered for beef steak with pepper sauce and they served it will some weird tomato base sauce and pesto fettuccine was nothing close to pesto sauce. It tasted more like basil coarsely ground with oil and no flavor whatsoever. Absolutely don't recommend this place at all.

Located in quite a touristy spot in calangute, this was recommended on internet for good pizza.

We had a bad experience here. The restaurant was totally empty. We were the only ones..may be due to heavy rains.

We ordered agli olio and garlic bread.

They took forever to make it and serve it. Mean while the garlic bread was made out regular slices of sandwich bread which was totally surprising.

Agli olio was decent although it arrived after long time

Not going back there again.
Rishi
The food was really unacceptable and unsatisfactory. The veg pizza tasted like crap and really gorss. I'm being polite by saying that the food was edible. The service was also not upto the mark.

Just 5 minutes away from the beach, Piccola Roma is the place to be if you love Italian cuisine. They have an amazing variety of options for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. I had a refreshing blueberry mojito and got to try the gnocchi in butter sage sauce. The gnocchi was soft and just perfect. A wonderful place if you want to go away from the hustle of Calangute market and have a quick bite before visiting the beach.
Alay Unjia
This pizzeria has a lovely menu with lot of good options of pizza, pasta & desserts. Though all the desserts weren’t available at that time which slightly disappointed me.

Vegetarian as well as non vegetarian options are available for wood fire pizza. Good options in spaghetti & fettuccine are there which is worthy to be tried. Their cocktail section is also good.

We ordered _
• Classic Margherita pizza
• Classic pesto pizza
• Spaghetti Aglio olio - recommended 🍝

The pizza base was made in wood fire oven. It was thin & crispy. The pizza was good, but the base can be better.

Ambience is pretty cool. It’s located near to Calangute Beach. So must visit this place for their authentic Italian cuisine.

Really enjoyed my lunch at this outlet, though most of the things were not available, fillet Al Gorgonzola saved the day for us ! Loved the creme of gorgonzola cheese and the fillet was amazing, the spinach parmesan was surprisingly good ! And to beat the we ordered lemonella which was so damn refreshing! It made my day

One of The Best italian food i have had!
Great , tasty and yummy food😋😍
The lasagna with mushroom sauce was so yummy i can still remember the taste on my tip of the tongue.
I would recommend this for italian food..
Quality of the food is the best👌
Arshia Amin Choudhury
I wish there was one bad thing i could say about this place! The host is so friendly, and guides you throughout the ordering process. I've been there twice already, and loved each visit. In the pictures, you'll see a spicy sea foodfettuccine, beef carpaccio, spicy sea food spaghetti, and beef filet in creamy pepper sauce. We also had the beef filet in mushroom sauce and that was delicious too! If you're in town, it's a must visit.
Kanishka Maheshwari
The pizzas here are one of the best you're gonna have. Amazing place and ambience, and just a short walk from Calangute.
Apart from that, the Goan fusion in the pizzas and bruschettas tastes delicious.
Veena Bhatia
I will recommend this place to everyone.we had a pizza once and loved it so much that we went again for more food...everything we had was freshly cooked, outstanding taste, most friendly and attentive staff...we had handmade pasta, pizza and wood fired overn roast chicken👍
Chaitanya Potdar
Located in Calangute, this is a great place for Italian food. The ambience too is good.

We had-
Cannelloni- It is a home made pasta stuffed with spinach and mushrooms.

Pizza Diavola - Pizza topped with tomato sauce, buffala mozzarella, onion, chilli and chicken. It was delicious.
Andrea Sfeir Biswell
We loved that place! Great location and amazing super tasty pizzas we liked the pastas also but I honestly didn’t like the risotto I recommend it if you want a good italian food in goa
Elaine
Ordered the pizza diavola it was bland with chicken chunks which didn't taste fresh. Very ordinary tasting pizza devoid of sauces or any veggies. We didn't have the courage to order anything else.

One of the best Italian cafes, I have been, Very nearby to our hotel and a very peaceful place with awesome service and staff. Ohh, not to be missed, delicious and mouthwatering food. We ordered different wooden cooked pizzaz, ravioli, Pasta, cappuccino, lemonade. all were just so yum that every time we will go to goa we will surely Visit this cafe. Foremost recommended to everyone.

Points-5+ for everything
Manasi Peshave
Ordered chicken pizza.
Being authentic Italian, they do not put lot of spices or flavours, which I agree.
But the tomato sauce at the base could have been more flavourful. The depth or intensity of that sauce was just missing.
Chicken was not fresh too.
Disappointed :(

A small cafe near the beach with good food and good ambience....Definitely a must try in Calangute beach side, Goa. Relatively easy on the pocket. Recommended...

Ambiance - 4/5
Food - 3/4

Well we just had one pizza at this place.. Pizza Mahalaxmi as it sounded really holy... But well it wasn't that great... I would say Mahalaxmi was not not worth the Laxmi we paid...

The Best place for food and drinks in Goa (atleast amongst the places I visited).

Located in Calangute, this place will probably seem like a simple cafe, but believe me this place has one of the best Cannelloni I have had till date.

The texture, layering and the baking was done just perfectly, the wood fired taste had amalgamated well with the tomato spread making it a MUST TRY!

We moved on to our second favourite dish - Pizza Verdure, it was delicious and probably could have it all day long.
Along with the amazing food, we had Shiraz - red wine and Sambuca which were great accompaniments.

Overall a great place, with awesome food and drinks, humble decor, and good service.
Will be back for more :)

We were in Vagator and were looking for a good place for lunch. Again Zomato came to our rescue. Piccola Roma was just a km away.

When we arrived the place was almost empty (there was only one more couple there). The place is owned by a western couple and it appeared that they are still furnishing the place. The lady had painted the walls with Italian paintings herself, and staff was busy testing the beer. The place had a very slow pace and feel to it and no one bothered to check for our order. We had to call them to be serviced. The tables were also dirty with oregano seasoning spread all over them.

Although place has a lot of options to pick from, most of them are beef options with limited chicken and seafood options. We ended up ordering a chicken pizza (can’t remember the name), bruschetta with cheese (or what we normally call as garlic bread) and marghertia pizza (for our son as he can’t eat anything spicy). They made the entire order in a large wood fired oven, which was a good experience to watch. The chicken pizza was the best. All dishes had buffalo mozzarella on them, taste if which? We didn’t enjoy. It was a very ok ok experience.

Food 3.5/5
Service 2/5
Ambience 3.5/5
Value for money 4/5

Advice to management - please work on the service. It is quite bad right now.

I was there in September month .and visited there in night ..it is small open place .served good pizza and drink .loved all the things .food .ambience .... superb

We had pizza and tortellini. The pizza came out like warm so I have my doubts on whether it was freshly made. The tortellini broth was good but he filling had a weird texture and honestly tasted very bad.

The worst part of the experience was the bathroom. The pathway to go to the bathroom is extremely dirty. The urinal was leaking and water was splashing all over the place. There was no soap or tissue to wipe your hands. I will not be going here again because of the toilets and how unhygienic the place was.

The best part about goa after beaches is food ! Whether a small or a big joint , they do a great job !
Piccola roma indeed is one of them !
The italian is too delicious !
Infact the cocktails also, they prepare it really well !
Each bite has a flavour associated to it !
Its a must try for italian lovers !
Rashmi Sethia
The thin crust pizza was amazing, with tasty vegetarian toppings. Brushetta was also superb. Sharing the pic of the mouth watering pasta as well. The waiter was good. It is located a little inside, but very locatable. One of the best italian restaurants I've been to!

This place was on my list for a very long time. Good ambience. Spent quiet sometime going through the menu since they have a lot of options to choose from. Following are the dishes I tried here:
Crostini Di Mare - was a nice combo of Italian bread with sea food salad and prawn cream.
Insalata Marie e Monti - I quiet liked this although I'm not a salad person.
Pizza Milano - Simple yet delicious pizza topped with salami as per my preference
Lasagna Alla Bolognese - was my favourite. It had such h a rich flavour and was absolutely delicious.
This place was quiet affordable and I would definitely want to go here again.
Ambience - 4/5
Service - 4.5/5
Food - 5/5
Value for money - 4.5/5

I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed my meal... my pizza was perfect and bruschetta as well.. just loved it. Service was good too. Thanks so much! I’m so sorry I was not able to leave a tip cuz I didn’t have a single bit of cash on me! But I’m coming back and will definitely give one next time!

Eaten here twice . The ambience is nice . Only tried their pizzas and pasta . Pizzas are very good and reasonably priced too. Mostly all good . I’ll definitely revisit .

We ordered a pizza, a pure Italian delicacy. The food was good and the place was quite peaceful. Will recommend you, if you want to try something new and Italian to its origin.
Ralf Pradeep
Name itself suggests italian restaurant.. located bit inside but its an open place.. pasta and pizza were tasted good .. if u are fan of Italian cuisines must visit here 😀
Samala Monteiro
Love the goan sausage pizza and the lasagne. Friendly staff, super quick service and overall a decent place to chill at, although I prefer the Vagator outlet.
Nikhil Walimbe
We had ordered pollo lasagne and pizza cafreal. Pizza was good but pollo lasagne had minimal cheeze which was very disappointing. The pasta in lasagne was overcooked with very less salt. Quantity was also not sufficient. Ambience & Service was good but after all taste matters which was just average.
After eating in atleast 6 different places during our stay this by far was the BEST

Taste, potions and price all of it were perfect. We ordered canneloni, a veg pizza with sundried tomatoes(forgot its name), a starter, beer and a blue lagoon.

From cocktails to starters to maincourse everything tasted so good and fulfilling. We left the place with a big smile

We were hunting authentic places in Goa and found this infamous cafe in a small gully of Calangute. Must say -- it was real authentic Italian. The restaurant has a remeniscing feel to it with heavy wooden furniture old lamps as decor. The ambience couldn't be any more romantic. The staff was very friendly and we're ready to give you a description of the diahes. One can see the chef prepare pizza in front of a wood fire oven. The pizza crust was so delightful and crunchy. If you eat here once, you'd never want to go back to dominos or pizza hut. Trust me ! We ordered a giallorossa pizza , arrabiata and mushroom ravioli. All of it will take you to feel the breeze of Naples with their delicious food. People who name their pastas as red sauce , white sauce shouldn't keep their expectations high here.
Also you get ariosa patatos with rosemary for ₹100 which has the perfect crunch and wholesome quantity. The texture of the sauces blended perfectly with the ingredients in it.
P.s. we are here twice in one day.
Looking forward to going to this place on my next vacation !!
Shital Gala
The salads , soups are pretty good . Pizzas are amazing . Must have . Thin crust , well done crisp food fired pizzas .

Pastas we ordered Pesto risotto and Pesto spaghetti - both were slightly less done . And a bit too oily .
They need to improve on that aspect .

But definitely on my list every time I visit Goa
Yatharth Mehta
Very nice pizzas are available here, crisp and filled with flavour though the pasta wasn’t tasty as such.
Very reasonable, we 5 people payed ₹1700 for 2 pizzas, 1 pasta, 3 cocktail and 3 beers.
We came here for lunch and there was no one else so yes you come here for good thin crust pizzas.

An Italian joint which is only 2mins away from The Park, Calangute at Goa was a fresh change than all the sea-food joints everywhere. The ambience was nice, the place was dimly lit and had very friendly courteous staff. Food was good.
StonedOnFood
Love their pizzas. The food was fresh and tasty. Visited several times during our stay in Goa. The service was excellent. Order some pizzas and chill with a beer.
Neeraj Bagi
great place... good ambience and awesome food. although slightly costly... Visit this place in the evening and dont miss out on the deserts section

Amidst a cluster of amazing restaurants in and around the area, Piccola Roma was the only one I feel like returning back to.
We ordered a Scaloppine al Gorgonzola (Chicken breast in gorgonzola cheese) and a Quattro Formaggi (Penne pasta in 4 Italian cheese sauces)-with chicken added separately. Both were equally delicious.
The ambience is very lively, looking out onto the busy street. A must-try for Italian food lovers. Though we did not unfortunately try their pizza, their massive demand got us curious. Will return to try.
Megha
Love the ambience of the place and the sitting arrangement.
We had pizzas and spaghetti and the seafood platter.
Spaghetti pesto was just brilliant and the pizzas were really good too. We had verdure and popeye, both scrumptious and the crust was perfectly thin.
Nainika Agrawal
I was staying walking distance from this restaurant during my stay in Goa, so I popped in here for dinner on a Monday night.

We ordered the Funghi Alla Romana, which was juicy and delicious. I’d give it a 7/10. Taking points off because the toast they served with the dish was completely cold.

Next we ordered Pizza Popeye, which tasted absolutely amazing. We also got the Pizza Margherita for takeaways. Both pizzas were amazing. 9/10.

As for the ambience, this is a very cute place for a casual dinner date, and very conveniently located.

Value for money is amazing too—in just a thousand bucks, we had a starter, two pizzas (one 12” and one 8”), a ginger ale, and a beer. As someone from Bombay, this was absolutely astounding to me.

Overall, I’d definitely go back if I were staying in Calangute again!

Piccola roma is a traditional Italian restaurant with lots of choices from pasta, meat, pizza and seafood. It is less than a mile away from calangute beach so it's hard to miss.

This place has a nice collection of preselected and customizable personal pizzas. Ambience is welcoming with lots of space and wooden furniture as foreign tourist likes such place.

Analysis

Pizza Atomica-

pizza had a cracker thin crust topped by tomato sauce and lots of extremely fresh buffalo mozzarella. Bell peppers, onion and chilly were my choice of ingredient so choose Atomica pizza. Buffalo mozzarella cheese provides an authentic Italian excellence. Pizza was enormous but we finished it without any difficulty.

I was really satisfied with the food. If you're in calangute beach, take the time to try out this amazing place for authenticity.

K K Kishore
It's a hidden gem... The restaurant is a bit unpretentious and simple..but the food and service is unbelievably good.
Th Ravioli, Penne Verdur we're finger licking good and probably the best I had so far. The Sangria is quite nice
..though a bit sweet. Do drop in if u r closeby ..

Ok so I have been a big fan of “Piccola Roma “ pizzas for the past 6 months , especially the chicken cafreal pizza .. had the same yesterday by it was a total let down .. lacked the flavour , the pizza was pretty lame it didn’t really taste like how it used to ... :( :( disappointed 😔😔
Ananya Jain
Very average food. The pizza sauce was sour. The wood fired oven potatoes were decent. Antipasti della casa were just cold oily vegetables with a slice of bread. Did not have the courage to order anything else.
Nisharg Doshi
Amazing food ! The pizza they make here is just yummy!!! The way they make is so authentic. The cleanliness here is more than 100% . They make the pizza here in old Italian style in a clay brick oven. Also try the bruschetta here. The smoothies are amazing too and last but not the least , gelato icecreams here are alws a must for desserts.

Always contact "manohar" here to take your orders , be understands customers tastes v well.

(PS - we had Jain pizza here and it was an amazing experience)
Ashish Gundre
Pizzas and soups were tasteless.
Paolo. Chicken pizza was with less cheese.
Minestrone soups felt like palak dal with additional veggies. The only exception was the deserts.
Tiramasu was excellent. That saved us from going empty stomach.
Its reasonably priced but isn't worth it.
Bad food.
Ambience is fine.
But the most important aspect of food taste is lacking.
It's a place for Pizza...As name defines PICCOLA ROMA...Pizzaria & Cafeteria..🍵🍝🍕🍷🍹
Its a good place to hangout with your friends..
As per food is concerned...
🍁 Italian style Toasts ...are really yummy...Taste was really different n classy👌👌
🍁.For Pizza...Typical Italian style Pizzas...Are famous...Over here...We usually consider large topping with extra cheesy pizza...But you'll get different pattern with thin crust pizza ...All are costumized...You can make it the way you want with the toppings you like on it...👍 Different ...Tasty...
🍁Pasta was not upto the mark as per expectation...don't go for it..It was totally dry...I said to make it sousy...But made very diluted with no taste...👎 Unsatisfactory...
🍁 Orio milkshake was perfect 💯 really awesome.. Perfect thickness n perfect sugar level...Loved it👌
Cold coffee was not upto the mark..Lil sweeteners required...N lil thickness was also needed..
Overall ambience is good...Old car model is kept in front on Entry side...Wooden furniture..Gives you different feel..Rest is normal...
Felt good to visit this place...👍

We found this place using Zomato and the Google Maps Navigator when we were craving for Pizza. The location is decent, it's not too far from Baga Beach (3.8 KM). The ambience is relaxing, fairy lights, open air, a bar counter and soft music. Shortly after ordering the pizza, we were delighted to see the chef making our pizza base from scratch right in front of our eyes. The staff was courteous and very quick. Our order was prepared in less than 7-8 minutes. The pizza was thin crust and was made with buffalo cheese - giving it a unique flavour when compared to the conventional pizzas found at Domino's and Pizza Hut. We found it quite delicious. Apart from Pizza, this little place offers a variety of Italian dishes.

Pro tip: This restaurant doesn't accept cards and accepts only Cash. Make sure you hit the ATM before dropping by.
Neha Vij
Such good thing crust wood fired pizza! I personally like Italian food to be vegetarian (exception to this is pepperoni pizza obviously!) and this place serves you the real Italian taste. Also had the ravioli with sage - such perfectness!! I wouldn't normally go to Goa and eat other cuisines but this place deserves a visit.
Aysha
Like Sakana (authentic japanese food), this place too serves authentic Italian food at the best price. Absolutely in love with the Quattro Formaggi Pizza, a burst of flavour and the crisp from the wooden oven.
Meghna Chowdhary
I think this place serves the best pizza in all of Goa. I've been Baba au rhum, Baba's wood cafe, AJ's and everything else but I would still recommend that you come here!

The ambiance is amazing! Sitting in the middle of a garden and under fairy lights at night. The staff is amazing! So calm and yet quick as well! And the food!!!!! OH THE FOOD!!! This is the kind of restaurant that makes me regret going to other Italian places. I go to other places get disappointed and think "Should have gone to Piccola Roma"
I've had the chicken pizza and the four cheese pizza both of which I highly recommend. The arrabiata pasta is not nice so please avoid. The white sauce pastas are good! The ravioli is excellent! The veg ravioli is better than the beef one though! The cocktails were very good. The wine was chilled as well. I'm going to take everyone I know here, once my list has been exhausted,I will take everyone again!

> Food - 3.5 |
> Service - 4|
> Ambience - 3.5|

Wood fired thin crust Pizzas made right in front of your eyes. Feast for your eyes. Ordered the Verdure and Ortolana Pizzas. Turned out to be really decent options. However the Verdure didn't have sundried tomatoes or parmesan cheese as toppings while it was mentioned on the menu.

Quattro Formaggi Ravioli - Lovely and cheesy. Must order.

Spaghetti Aglio Olio, Pesto Penne Pasta were also good options.

However the serving size was a little less versus usual restaurants.
This beautiful Italian restaurant is located in a bylane of Calangute road that goes towards Candolim. The food tastes really good and is not very expensive. But be brazed for the mosquitoes as most of the tables are set out in the open area. Another bummer is that they don't accept cards and it's not mentioned to the guests in the beginning or not written anywhere where one can notice easily. So go with your pockets loaded with some cash.
Tristan Braganca
Piccolo Roma is one of the few places which has a very wide range of good pizzas at a pretty reasonable price. The Pizza Milano and the Pizza Dear Goa were exceptional. The Chapora restaurant is very simple but nice. The staff is friendly and helpful.
Garima Juneja
The Calangute Piccola Roma is situated inside the Literati Cafe & Book Store. The cafe is inside a well kept garden. There is a book store attached where you can read and buy books. They have so many seating options and such a calm environment that you feel like sitting all day long. The pizzas are fresh out of the wood fire oven. Totally economical and super yummy fresh Pizzas.
Richa
Amazingggg place.
They offer a variety of pizzas which are delicious. The siting arangemnt is also very good.
GO visit piccola Roma if you love Italian Food.
This is typical Italian restaurant with the fusion of Goan food. We been there for dinner, The Ambience is very calm. Pizzas tastes very good, although service was bit lazy.

Taste: Very Good
Quantity: Enough for 2
Quality: Good
Service: Need to improve
Sitting: Good

The place seemed deserted , cause we dined here during one late Calangute evening. The ambience is good, one can eat under the stars with minimal light from candle lit lamps on the table. The food compliments the ambience, simple yet delicious . We tried the "Pizza Quattro Fromagie Bianca" and the "Pizza Cafreal" . The taste was subtle and pleasant and the beer was cold. There was tranquil silence, except for the soft dull sound of the television at the bar counter. This place is worth a visit if you crave for a peaceful Italian dinner and a cold beverage , on a late Goan evening. Cheers.

I've been to the Piccola Roma in Vagator, and was quite happy to know that they opened a branch in Candolim a couple of months ago. Of course, I had to try it.

I went for dinner early in the evening without a reservation...and there wasn't a soul...perhaps because not many people are aware of this new location.

It's cosy and outdoorsy...there's a garden with a pond of water lilies, a hammock (albeit torn), lit up trees...etc. The tables are spread quite wide apart so we chose to sit right next to the kitchen. It was a good move, because we ordered a pepperoni pizza, and could see the dough being rolled out in front of us...tossed in the air...and the general italian pizza drama...always fun.

The food was quite nice. I needed an Italian fix...so it was perfect with a pizza for the table, an Arrabbiata penne, a yum penne with pesto and crushed walnut sauce.

Two things to note...first....there was too much salt in the food. Our server was nice enough to change one of the dishes and make it again. Second... I ordered this spaghetti with seafood (prawns and calamari) which was truly delicious.

And they deliver!

exploring food is one of the best adventure in Goa. I somehow do not prefer customised pizza tailored to fit only one group of consumers. Hence, the Roma Piccola! It is located at vagator chapora road. You won't miss it, it is on the left side of the road if you are coming from Vagator. The ambiance is serene, and it is an open space as in a garden. I tried two kinds of pizzas, one with the anchovies and the other one was goan pizza. 700 Rs for two is adequate and they have home delivery service

Got a home delivery from here. The pizza tonno (tuna) was pretty good. There was enough tuna and the flavours of the olives and onions really complemented each other. There was something off about the spaghetti carbonara...I don't know what it was but it didn't taste alright.

They charge 30 or 50 rupees (I can't remember how much) for home delivery. And weirdly enough, they don't give you cutlery. Apparently you have to ask them to bring it otherwise they don't.

If you want to get your mind blown, order the Pizza de Goa. Some of the best pizza I've had in the entire country. It tastes just as good when delivered home as it does in the restaurant. If you're looking for *the* re-interpretation of the uses of Goan sausage, this is it.

Wood fired pizzas and home made pastas. This is a small unpretentious place housed next to the literati bookshop in Calangute. Being off season we were the only people there. Was a bit disappointed at the ambience - not a place I would visit at night. There were so many mosquitoes given that the place was next to a garden and the seating was outdoors. However the management was considerate and provided us with Odomos and also placed a mosquito repellant under the table. The food was good, quantities were sufficient and ingredients fresh. Service was a bit slow given there were only two persons manning the entire place from cooking, taking orders as well as serving. Must try for those who want to try authentic Italian and are in the area.

Went there last night and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. First, it's no restaurant.. It is a small kitchen with 4 tables put outside it situated inside a farm which you can't locate unless the cook comes out to show you the way inside. And if it rains you'll feel it on your food and on yourself; that's the kind of ceiling they have. And if you talk about food; we ordered a veg pasta with grilled vegetables and it had no more than perhaps 2 veggies, grilled..I'm not sure!! The pizza.. too was served with Just 2 toppings and loads of greasy cheese and the preparation, nothing to match the menu!! They have limited drinks to offer and the experience is just not worth it!!

Omg!!! One of the most beautiful pizzas I've ever had!!! We discovered the place by chance and boy am I glad??? It will be etched in my memory forever.
The authentic taste of the cheese and olives and other ingredients just keeps you going back for more!!! One the most memorable places I've been to.

On our last visit we stayed very near to this Italian restaurant. The first thing that would catch your eyes are the sitting place. It's really innovative and cozy. The variety of veg and non veg thin crust pizza they have in their menu are incredible. The continental items were also sumptuous and tastes wonderful. One thing I personally didn't like was the discrimination made between Indian and foreign crowds with regard to the timing of the last order of the day. It's kind of unacceptable.

Amazing Amazing Amazing!!! I went to this place on recommendation from friends and I am really thankful to them. This is the most authentic Italian fare in Calangute. Amazing pizza. I had pizza de goa and girlfriend had tortellini quattro formaggi. The pasta too was lovely. Also surprised at the reasonable prices. Definitely going again
This is where you go for authentic pizzas in goa, Period.

Off the calangute-candolim main road, the place is easily found if you look out for sharnam hotel.

Since it's kind off out-doorsy we thought we detected something in edible on the table cloth. The waiter was quick and gracious at replacing the cloth, mats an plates.

We went with their recommendation of a viva la carne (all the meats) and a pizza verdure (veg). The beer was chilled and even the ice for coke was made of mineral water.

The pizzas was fantabulous. Dollops of cheese on a crisp thin base I suspect you will only find in goa, layered with beautiful meats - prosciutto, speck, milano, napoli. - a real treat for the senses. Most amazing was that thy actually had all 4 salami varieties freshly in stock, which I believe is due to the Italian chef personally overseeing the procurement.

The veg pizza was equally delightful, with pesto zucchini and rocket lingering on the palate. The icing was their home made ice cream - cherry n Belgian chocolate and an surprisingly wicked peanut vanilla flavour.

I have a number of places still to visit on goa but I will surely make time to come here again on this trip!
Was a regular at the Piccola Roma Vagator and was excited about them opening a new branch in calangute.
Just tried it 2 days back and have the same amazing taste like the one in Vagator. Finally an authentic, fresh italian pizza and pasta option in Calangute. Must try.
