Fantastic as always. Dined here last year as well. Came this year to a done up place, Larger AC area, with pleasant interior decoration, soothing music and very good hosting skills. The non AC area is also so much smarter. The cat was present as usual but escaped the pets we wanted to give it.
We enjoyed the regular fish thali, the prawn thali and the fried prawns. Fresh lime soda was also so good. Since I wasn't interested in anything cold the server suggested a warm lime water drink for me. Which I really appreciated. Food was cooked to perfection and piping hot. We were told of the wait time of 20 mins which is understandable considering the seafood has to be fried. Our family had a wonderful afternoon here. Don't miss a visit to Avinay restaurant. It's the best for food taste.
One of our favourite fish curry thali joints. Very under rated. One can see only regular locals visiting this place for some amazing fresh fish and other dishes, too.

Say "Rice Plate" and what you get is probably the BEST fish curry-rice in Goa. In fact, Each and EVERY thing listed on the menu is a gem - no ok, no average, no medium, the BEST is all this place serves. Been eating here for 15 years whenever on holiday in Goa and never been disappointed. Have recommended Avinay to countless friends and never heard a complaint, in fact these friends also become regulars. Quantity has gone down over the years and there's not much of an Ambience to talk about. The single-pot toilet gets overwhelmed very easily. Come here for the food... And you'll keep coming back. Prices very reasonable.
Nice place for fish thali. The fish served in the thali was nice. Also the prawns goan masala was also good with nice juicy prawns. Decent place to come for lunch and have a beer along with your meal.
The food at this place is amazing. Must visit place for seafood lovers. Their fish thali and seafood dishes are highly recommended.
