I have been to Cologne twice now and I have been to this restaurant during both visits.
The restaurant is decorated as the name would suggest, which makes for an interesting experience. It is not over the top or overwhelming, but I think something to keep in mind when traveling with kids.

They were very welcoming. We had dinner with a big group and they managed to get us all of our food quickly and the food was lovely. The staff was nice, and the price was good. They even didn't mind making 10 different cocktails.

We had a business dinner at Kamasutra. In the beginning a bit of a strange thought but we gave it a try and were super happy. From the outside a bit old fashioned but once entered very welcoming. From the first second we felt super well treated. Very friendly and helpful staff
