I have been to Cologne twice now and I have been to this restaurant during both visits.
The restaurant is decorated as the name would suggest, which makes for an interesting experience. It is not over the top or overwhelming, but I think something to keep in mind when traveling with kids.
We had curry as main with the garlic naan as side. The naans are as one would hope - with a lot of pieces of garlic. A personal favorite, so I'm very happy with them.
The curry is simple but delicious and with nice chunks of meat in it. My friend had the mild version, I went for the "chili spicy" one. The mild one wasn't spicy at all and mine only had a sharp edge, but nothing much. It could have been more spicy for me, but it is definitely not a letdown.
Next time I find myself in Cologne I will definitely visit again!
Best Indian food after coming to Europe. We visited Cologne from Belgium for our anniversary and they really made our day with their delicious dishes and hospitality. Their menu and great quality of service made them unique. We are missing the Hyderabadi style biryani after coming to Belgium and they just made it exactly like that. Highly recommend chicken biryani and Kerala fish curry. Since we are visiting this place first time, owner also recommended places to visit and offered us ride to one of the shopping areas, thank you for this sweet gesture.
Definitely coming back for the finger licking food.

This is by far one of the best Indian restaurants in Cologne. The food is delicious and made with fresh ingredients. Super friendly and courteous hosts. If you are confused about what to order, they certainly have best suggestions for you. If you are in Cologne, craving for some really good Indian food do visit Kamasutra.
The Indian cuisine here was exceptional, hands down the best I have tasted in the city. The flavors were absolutely delightful, and every dish was a well executed!
The welcoming ambiance and uniquely designed decor added to a great dining experience.
To top it off, the owner went above and beyond by offering us complimentary dishes to sample. It was a generous gesture that made us feel truly valued as customers. Would highly recommend this restaurant!

As my experience it's one of the best Indian restaurant in Cologne, it's a classy restaurant, the food was really delicious, "Gosht Biryani" was as spicy as I expected! If the food is spicy, you can have yogurt, it's free.
The menu is in English and German, and there is a seperated menu for drink and wine, and homemade options has been highlighted.
The staff were really friendly and the servic was outstanding, the restaurant accept almost all payments card. Highly recommended!
They were very welcoming. We had dinner with a big group and they managed to get us all of our food quickly and the food was lovely. The staff was nice, and the price was good. They even didn't mind making 10 different cocktails.
