Review M Cafe - Bengaluru

Jyos Passions
I recently had the pleasure of dining at M Cafe for the brunch buffet and I must say that it was an exceptional experience. Definitely a go-to !! The restaurant has an impressive spread of dishes that cater to both local and continental tastes. The quality and freshness of the food was outstanding. The selection of desserts and pastries was also noteworthy. In addition, there was also a great selection of fresh fruits, yoghurts, nuts and juices available. The service was also top-notch. The staff was friendly, attentive and always ready to help. Overall, I would highly recommend this place for brunch buffet. The quality of the food, the range of options and the exceptional service all make for a fantastic dining experience.

It is the restaurant inside the Marriot Hotel in whitefield. Great place for foodie. They have very wide spread along with live counters in their buffet. Great ambience and very friendly staff. Valet parking available. One can pay the cheque using dineout or eazydiner to get discount on total bill.

A Decent spread for Lunch on Friday. Chat items , soups, welcome drinks, main course and deserts. Taste of all items are good. They have a live counter for Pasta and they made a very good pasta. They have good spread of main course which consists of Steam rice , matter pulav, bhindi subsi, dal, paneer subzi, Avial, garlic noodles , fried rice, stir fry vegetables to name a few. They have salad section which is suitable for healthy individuals The desert spread with Indian sweets like moong dal halwa, blueberry pudding and range of pastries and ice creams. Compared with other Marriott which I experienced eg JW Sahar Mumbai the spread is limited. Positives : 1) Not much crowded . One can spend quality time with family and friends. 2) Taste of items are good. Pasta was very well made. Lacha Parata was very soft. 3) price is bit high Rs2100 per person inc all taxes considering the spread 4) Service was good and impressive Concerns which needed improvement: 1) The staff are not fully aware of the menu so you need to find out yourself. 2) There is no display of the menu 3) Chat items are far below standards needs lot of improvement in taste 4) Bhindi was not of good quality used. Surprised how such star hotels can overlook the quality and they approve such substandard quality veggies 5) Welcome drink was served in the middle after almost 45 min in to the buffet 6) Ice creams were in melting point. Again wonder how such gaps are allowed in star hotels? 7) Service can be more personalised means one person to take care from beginning to end.

Food was awesome. Specially pork belly, Crispy fish fry, Echor biriyani, brownie pudding, mutton rogan josh just love it. They have excellent spread of dessert. I am not a dessert person, can't perfectly explain their tasty dessert. Must try them. The stuffs behavior is very nice, very cooperative.

Located within Bengaluru Whitefield Marriott, this is where complimentary breakfast is served. I also had their buffet. Breakfast starts at 6:30AM, but until 7 all counters are filled. Their breakfast is well spread with croissants, fruits, fresh juices, Indian and continental food. But their dinner spread is not great compared to the price. Better options available in that area!

Certainly, I can provide some general tips for a pleasant dining experience: 1. **Choose the Right Restaurant:** Select a restaurant that matches your preferences, whether it's cuisine, ambiance, or price range. Read reviews or ask for recommendations to find a suitable place. 2. **Reservations:** If the restaurant accepts reservations, it's often a good idea to make one, especially for popular or busy establishments. This ensures you have a table waiting for you. 3. **Arrival Time:** Arrive on time for your reservation. Being punctual shows respect for the restaurant and other diners. 4. **Dress Appropriately:** Dress according to the restaurant's dress code. Some places are casual, while others may have a more formal atmosphere. 5. **Menu Exploration:** Take your time to explore the menu. If you're unfamiliar with the cuisine, don't hesitate to ask the server for recommendations or explanations. 6. **Allergies and Dietary Restrictions:** Inform your server about any allergies or dietary restrictions you have. They can often provide alternatives or suggestions. 7. **Be Polite:** Treat the restaurant staff with respect and politeness. Good manners go a long way in enhancing your dining experience. 8. **Order Courteously:** Place your order clearly and courteously. Be mindful of any specials or recommendations the server provides. 9. **Enjoy the Atmosphere:** Savor not only the food but also the ambiance. Relax and enjoy the surroundings. 10. **Cell Phones:** Be mindful of cell phone use. Keep conversations and notifications at a volume that doesn't disturb others. 11. **Tipping:** Check if a service charge is included in the bill. If not, leave a gratuity based on the service quality, typically 15-20% of the total bill. 12. **Feedback:** If you have feedback, whether positive or negative, consider sharing it constructively with the restaurant. They often appreciate input to improve their service. Remember that the dining experience can vary depending on the restaurant's style and your personal preferences. Adjust these tips accordingly to make your dining experience enjoyable.

The variety of desserts is fabulous in the brunch buffet The veg main course and veg starters spread could be better, very limited options

This is a cafe inside JW Marriott. The buffet has a wide range of dishes, a live grill counter and an amazing variety of dishes. Roti were served proactively on tables. Prices are on the premium side as expected. Mutton Biryani stood out and had a great taste. I really recommend it if you are planning for an eventful date or with family.

The food is decent. However, the quantity is less compared to similar star hotels. And would recommend the chef to include more vegan options in the menu. The ambience is great. Good for a nice relaxed family outing.

Went on a weekday for lunch buffet. I found the spread limited as compared to the price we pay; like in live counter there was just bhel-puri. Nevertheless the taste was of the food was good. Really like both veg n non veg Biryani. The desserts had good variety but taste-wise okish.

The mushroom Soup was standard fare The Asian mains had both hakka noodles and garlic fried rice . Green veggies curry was excellent and chicken in oyster sauce was good too , though pungent as one would expect. "Peeli paneer tikka" - succulent , cooked to perfection paneer . Cajun sweet potato - low on Cajun and bland for me . Veg Kofta curry, Panneer Tikka masala were both rich thick gravies just like I love them. The tandoor for making indian breads was right infront of us. So literally we had our Naans "right out of the oven !! " :) Desserts here are to die for An assortment of pastries (blackforest, choco brownie) Dry fruit kalakand had lot of khova and less dry fruits. . Nevertheless , I liked it ...but a typical hyderabadi who has enjoyed dry fruit kalakhand there may compain . Special thanks to Mr. Nitish Mishra for the impeccable service and personal attention !!!

Had ordered Oriental food box. The food was extremely oily and everything tasted the same. Have had better Chinese from the street vendors. Very disappointing!!

Had the set menu here today. It was just fabulous. I got absolutely blown away by their food and courteous service. Just loved it!
Aishwarya Arun
Food was extremely oily and inconsistent with the last time. Last time it was extremely tasty whereas this time was filled with oil, palak paneer had way too much cream, don't feel like eating from here again cause of how inconsistent it was.

Kitchen and service extremely bad....had been for brunch...was really a bad choice.....it's like v were asked to mention our order on d menu d moment v entered.....but the food was served by them according to their convenience.....had to remind for a simple biriyani for 5 times.....for that to reach the table.....dishes on the menu for brunch was not available while serving

Food taste was very authentic, liked the packing box too. Super tasty food, best option available in this part of town.

You will be shocked to see how does Marriot Hotel cut corners to make money, I had ordered for Non Veg Club Sandwich and when I received the order I noticed that the Bacon and ham was missing for it... What a shame that they don't have any standards in place to see what is going out of the kitchen....Shame on you Marriot Whitefield Kitchen staff and the Chef.
Anand Chaturvedi
Absolute waste of money - even after the discounts I got. Very poor options for vegetarians, what was there was ‘trash’. Desserts were just an excuse. Too many boys but working with poor coordination- everyone looked and behaved like a Manager / Supervisor. Shame guys !!

It was my first family visit to Marriot and turned out to be a very nice one. Staffs - Gourav, Santanu and Vikas were very courteous and prompt. Will visit again for sure. I recommend place.

Had been there for their republic day brunch! It was great! The spread was amazing! The food was good except the fact that the fish was a bit stale! Everything else was amazing! Great place to visit

Visited Mcafe on 18 Jan 2020.This review is for the service and attitude problem of one employee named Viraj,if i got it right.Over  discussion on certain policy he spoke rudely giving wrong facts and when corrected with facts and proof refused to accept mistake and in turn blamed us of misbehavior.Sad part is a day before i dined at Mcafe for Dinner and the next day the employee behave like this.<br/>We went to MoMo cafe, which definitely has more humble people at service.<br/>I would like to believe it was a one off incident as i am a loyal Marriott customer for 3 years now.But after this i would not visit Mcafe. In service industry more than food its customer service that is of utmost importance. Please look into this matter as with such people at Marriott your bound to get more complaints of bad behavior/service.

Enjoyed the brunch there<br/><br/>Ups:<br/><br/>- Great selection, loved the salads and dessert selection <br/><br/>- Good thought to have an egg counter<br/><br/>- The kids play area had a great host who kept children engaged. <br/><br/>- The live band was super <br/><br/>Suggestions:<br/><br/>- Would love to see dimsums ;) wishful thinking<br/><br/>- You need a chat specialist.

PLEASE READ BEFORE SELECTING THIS PLACE<br/>I went to this place for buffet dinner but after 20 mins i realised that i have made a mistake and should have opted for some other restaurant. The spread is very average with no presentation at all. With the amount of money you pay, the items are very less and very ok in taste.<br/>Staff is generally not bothered for the service and keep roaming around. Pizza was pathetic and the shape was as if some kid has prepared it, pasta was sauce less, breads were very bad in taste. <br/>Few items we asked (kulcha, aglio olio pasta) despite being in the menu list was told that this is out of buffet menu.<br/>Not happy to pay them after having bad quality food from Marriott<br/>IF AT ALL SOMEONE IS LOOKING FOR GOOD FOOD, PLEASE TRY THE CREEK IN THE DEN. Just one kilometre away from this place

Have been to M cafe several times in the last one year. The spread here is excellent..<br/><br/>Chefs take special care to cater to your needs<br/><br/>And without doubt one of the best service.

Went for a lunch buffet on a weekday. The spread was good but could have added more items in starters or live counters. The ambiance of the place was nice. Overall a nice experience.

Hi All,<br/>I visited M Cafe at around 12:30am. The quantity and taste of food, I didn't find it up to the standards of Marriott hotels. Not sure whether it was due to the fact that we visited late night or the food itself is like that any part of the day.<br/><br/>Pros:<br/>1.Mutton Rogan Josh was amazing.<br/>2.Ambience and staff were very polite.

We visited this place 4 years back with family. My husband was using some dine out coupon which gave us some Rs 200 off on buffet that was for 1400 or so I don’t remember that. So when we reached the restaurant it was 1 pm on Saturday and not many people were there. When we told the attendant about the coupon he called the manager and mentioned it to him too... after that the attitude of the staff was like we eating free food so anything’s dns everything we would ask was either not served or we were told it’s not available. <br/><br/>So after this incident I thought they did not serve us well maybe as we were having discount coupon. And decided will never dine here. <br/>Two days back we had a get together and we were 15 people for lunch, this time I thought of giving them and 2nd chance. But to my surprise the place is running the same way since last 4 years. <br/><br/> No one cares what people want, the attitude is every bad. Starter were over twice and when it was mentioned to the staff they would make a face and go like I am making them do work? <br/><br/>It took 3 reminders to get breads, then I order a portion of pasta this person looked totally startled on what’s I had ordered after some time he was fine and was r re wfh to make Penne aribiata which I never tasted as it did not reach me even asking the other waiters too.<br/><br/>This is a very wrong attitude, i any day prefer JW at lavelle road. The location the staff the food spread.

I went here for a dinner buffet. Spread was lavish. I loved the desserts. There were live counters for patathas. They can include chaats.

every item was good. good place for a romantic dinner.

We went for a lunch buffet. The food was average. The spread also was less. Very few options for the vegetarian. Desserts were let down. It's not worth to visit.<br/><br/>Special mention to Chef Dola Singh for excellent hospitality.
Sreejith Sreekumaran
The food was good. Desserts were not as expected. Should have had a Chinese live counter or some chat counter. The waiters keep coming to you the moment you finish to ask for anything more which in morning breakfast becomes not appreciable

I had been here on a Friday afternoon.<br/>Top notch of varieties of food in the buffete section.<br/><br/>Nearly 13times of starters were there.(fish, baby corn, paneer, chicken)<br/>20+ main course items were offered. (fried rice, sauce for it, noodles, fish curry, dals and veg/nonveg gravies)<br/>15+ types desserts. (cakes, pastries, tarts and sweets)<br/>They had 4 types of salad(veg/nonveg) , so many types of sauces and mayo.<br/>They also had fruits, fruit salads, loafs and breads.<br/><br/>I used dineout gourmet pass which offers 1+1 on buffete.<br/><br/>Ambience :4/5<br/>Service :4/5<br/>Food:5/5<br/>Total :4.5/5

They had some Himachal theme food fest..ohhh God worst experience for star hotel..bad ambience, worst staff, equally bad food.<br/>Pasta didn't had penne as option,Indian breads didn't had kulcha as option which is unbelievable, they didn't had ice cream on the buffet..yes believe me..!!! No pickle kept on buffet place, after asking for it they took 20 minutes to get it.. Marriott didn't expected this from you..
Swati Sondhi (~~The Dancing Chopsticks~~)
Amazing ambience with average food to describe it in short.<br/><br/>We went for their buffet. They had a decent spread with mix of 5-6 starters, continental, Asian and indian in mains and amazing spread of dessert with some humungius spread of salads. But honestly the steal was the salads onky. The starters were below average, in paneer tikka, chicken tikka, fish and a fried veggies. The vegetarian was really not upto the mark. The pizzas were again not good at all. Liked the pastas though. Had enough taste with garlic and sauces mixed well. In mains, only liked the makhani paneer.<br/>Desserts, though the spread was massive but taste was good only for a couple of them.<br/><br/>Service was the worst part. We had to wait for ages for n number of things. Plus a couple of times, they got us wrong dishes. Dint expect this from this class of chain. Being a marriot bonvoy member, I will never like such an experience

We went there 2am in the morning for fish & chips and sandwiches! And they were the best in the world! Came with piles of french fries! Hot and tasty, exactly what you need at 2am!!!

Have been here multiple times. Really enjoyed the Sunday Brunch. Though they dont keep baked yogurt which is my favorite dish for breakfast.

Had been here for a breakfast buffet. Was one of the best breakfast i ever had. Both continental and indian dishes were delicious. Peserattu and dosa were good.

Great place to stay. I have stayed here few times both as Business traveller and with Family and they have always exceeded my expectation. M Cafe restaurant staff (Mr. Krishna) was very courteous. Their breakfast and dinner buffet are amazing and they make every effort to make your experience memorable.

I had visited Mcafe on a Saturday brunch day. The place isn’t that big but it was pretty crowded. <br/><br/>Service was ok. Sometimes they were forgetting to refill water even after asking. They took some time to refill the dishes which were emptying. In fact during one round of main course, there weren’t any plates except three which were dirty. Although they got washed plates after mentioning.<br/><br/>The menu seemed limited to me. There were 4 veg starters out of paneer tikka was great and so was an eggplant dish with marinara sauce. Rest two weren’t so good. There was only two non veg starters, mahi mahi and chicken.<br/><br/>On the salad counter too, I loved the avocado wrapped in cucumber and also the orange and beetroot one.<br/>There was live station for pizza, pasta, noodles- I had ordered noodles which was okay.<br/>There was also chilli basil thai noodles and rice which again was ok. There was yellow veg sauce with stir fried vegetables, again ok.<br/><br/>There was also a live station which was serving Kolkata Kathi roll - paneer and chicken. I had ordered the paneer kathi roll, it tasted good until a thread came out of my roll. After showing the thread to the manager he apologised and got us complimentary mocktails.<br/><br/>The main course was really disappointing in terms of the variety. There were dishes like dal tadka, achari baingan, kashmiri paneer( which didn’t have any paneer but other vegetables), kundari ki sabzi. The only thing that tasted good was the biryani.<br/><br/>In desserts section, the variety was really less but whatever was on our plates, tasted good.<br/><br/>Overall, with the money we spent, it seemed like a good deal but there were certain areas of improvement for them.

Went here for buffet dinner to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The ambiance was eye catching & service was too good. A wide variety of food with a great taste & a lot of mouthwatering desserts also. Every dish has an unique flavor. Will definitely visit again. Highly recommend. Thank u team .

Excellent place with decent music and extra ordinary interiors. Good seating arrangments. Decent service. I went there with my friend and opted for buffet. There are huge options in starters, main course, desserts. Everything is neatly arranged. Taste can improve a bit. But can give a try. We went there by booking through dineout ,gourmet passport. Finally enjoyed our meal in a reasonable price...worth the try

M Cafe, A fine dining restaurant located in Marriott, Whitefield. Offers some really delightful and lip-smacking spread of buffet, the options of food is never-ending.<br/><br/>Various scrumptious cuisines on offer, North Indian, American, Asian, Italian, etc. Also, they have various live counters on at the entrance on Tues and Wed, Asian dishes on Tues and Indian chat street food on Wed. <br/><br/>Visited this restaurant on a weekday, for dinner, surprised to this place packed with the crowd. got to experience their limited and exclusive Riyasat-E-Rampur. <br/><br/>Relish and relive the exquisite and delightful, rich and forgotten flavors from the princely state of Rampur.<br/><br/>Various delightful dishes offered which includes:<br/><br/>* Faizabad Murg ka Salan<br/>* Dal-E-Ratmati<br/>* Dal-E-Mumtaz<br/>* Rampur Biryani<br/>* Dal-E-Ratmati<br/>* Rampur Biryani<br/>* Rampur Haleem<br/>* Chukander-E-Afroz<br/><br/>And many many exclusive dishes.<br/><br/>A very unique and special experience which is a must try.

Had been here for team dinner. A very good place with good ambience. Their buffet system is also good with varieties of dishes in both veg and non veg menu.<br/><br/>Starters were few. They even have chaats options. I tasted Pani Puri. In starters I preferred paneer. It was good in taste. All the dishes were served on our table. Their service was bit slow.<br/><br/>In desserts they have good variety of sweets and pastries. The only thing I liked was hot gulab jamun. Rest were quite normal in taste.<br/><br/>Overall had a good experience and enjoyed the ambience.<br/><br/>Follow me on Instagram and YouTube @explorewidketan to explore more eateries 😋

Stay hungry for two meals and then go delve into the beautiful dinner buffet spread that M cafe has to offer. There are so many counters and food from all over the globe. I bet one can't finish all that they have to offer. Thet also have live counters that serves street food of India and a gudbud station and, and ganne ka juice! I am waiting to go back again and stuff myself with all that lavish spread.

Went for a business lunch , not much impressed by the food. Was average. Staff also are not trained and looked confused at times <br/>One has better options in that area

Have been here for sunday brunch.....not much impressed with the buffet..i have booked table from dine out app and manager was not ready to accept the benefits given by that app initially and later they have arranged table (as said first impression is the best) was little disturbed with it...Regarding food I didn't felt that it's worth for the price they are charging. Also from live kitchen we have ordered masala omelette and pasta but was not served 👎<br/><br/>Few non-veg starters and welcome drink are great 😋

Visited this place along with colleagues for team lunch. We went for buffet and there were variety of dishes to choose from, be it starters, main course or desserts. I really enjoyed the ambience of this place but I think the food could have been much better in taste.

Good selection of various cuisine and taste. The food is made to order and is very authentic for a south Indian dishes. Love to return and eat again here. My colleague had special meals specially prepared for him.

I ate at M cafe for 5 days and I am never disappointed by the spread of food available. The best customer service I received was from one of the waitresses, Krethika - she greets with a pleasant smile and ensures that the customers are happy. One improvement could be the speed of service and accuracy for the noodle dishes.
Deepak Panduranga
My booking was not acknowledged by the restaurant, but we were served on time. The buffet had great options, specially neer dose with fish curry and paneer kaju masala.

I went to M Cafe considering it to be a "fine" dining experience for my parents anniversary celebration but unfortunately it turned out to be one of the most disappointing ones.We were 9 people and chose to go ahead with a-la-carte instead of buffet and I guess this was the biggest mistake as the service in the restaurant was extremely poor. I can understand a dish preparation takes time, even then it was way toooooooo slow considering it to be part Marriot. Even 4 pieces of bread/roti preparation took more than 15 mins and this happened when restaurant was not even crowded.<br/>It just wasn't about dish preparation taking time but even for water we had to call and ask atealdt twice to get our glasses filled. I mean if I was at a road side restaurant, I can understand that one has to call "bhaiya" to get the glasses refilled but this is definitely not expected in a "fine" dining.<br/><br/>We had got a cake which we cut. We asked the cake to be served. I don't know where was the communication gap that is was not served till the very end as they had packed the cake to be taken home. We had to explicitly ask the third time to our waiter to please get the cake after paying the bills so that we can have it. Even in that case it was just kept on the table. for us to cut and serve ourselves. I'll again reiterate, that it's fine in a not so fine restaurant but its very unfortunate to see this kind of a service in Marriot.<br/><br/>I almost forgot one more interesting part that the finger bowls were brought after the bill was paid!! <br/><br/>And then there were mosquitoes biting through out our time on the corner table. :(<br/><br/>The only brownie point was the quality of food, which was good. Starters as well as main course that we ordered had good taste but our taste buds were nearly dead waiting almost forever for our food.<br/><br/>The only thing reflecting the fine dining were the rates.<br/><br/>Suggestion: Your staff is in dire need of a good training for a ala carte restaurant.
Bhavana Jayanth
Went to m cafe today for lunch and was very pleasantly surprised by the taste and variety of the spread. The salads were good and so was the pizza. Was not very impressed with the pho and chinese dishes but the Indian section was truly standout. Everything from biryani to paneer to the chaat, pudina chutney and crispy chillis with the curd rice was spot on. My husband fell in love with the haleem and fish. Desserts were again quite good in terms of variety and taste. Slightly understaffed on a weekend maybe but a very good buffet at a reasonable price point.

Booked a table for us in advance. Went for a buffet lunch on May 9, 2019. Buffet spread was awesome and equally balanced veg/non-veg. From soup, starter, main course were all fine. Desserts no need to says, it was big spread, really can't have everything. But Ice Cream was missing or may be I missed. Ambiance is just perfect. Have a nice time over there with your family and friends.<br/>

It was our second visit to M Cafe for a buffet lunch and I would like to say this time it was even<br/>More better and sweeter...Why sweeter? I will say that...<br/><br/>Coming to the food...M cafe always serves the bestest buffet...every food has their own flavour..quite a big and large selection to choose from and its like never ending...one cannot have all of them...none of the dish is like repeating of flavours...the salads was so crunchy and refreshing...had a salmon roll which was awesome so as the caramelized fig...the starters was great...loved to chicken tikka, paneer tikka n fish tikka...there was a mushroom tart which was also great..in main course had biriyani which was again good and few more things like chicken masala lemon n pepper fish n roasted chicken...<br/><br/>They have recreated their desserts...this time had all new desserts and loved the continental part very much....<br/><br/>Decor is really nice and so the ambience..staffs are really helpful and always giving prompt service...this time we met a chef n his name is chef Jamal who has offered us some alphonso and it was so yumm...he has really taken care of us n he is such a gentleman....so this time the visit was even more sweeter...thank you so much chef for this sweet gesture...

I was pleasantly surprised with the restaurant’s service and hospitality. I don’t normally visit hotels/restaurants in Whitefield but I liked it so much the first time, that, I even visited it a second time within a week. The lunch and buffet spread were really good, although they could add some more seafood. The pasta and pizza live counters were decent as well. I really loved the desserts they had. Overall, it’s a really nice and reasonable fine dining in the city. Highly recommended.

Awesome!! Really touched by the attitude and polite behaviour of the staff. I had a royal treat on my birthday for lunch. Variety of dishes and taste is a great plus point. Rami Reddy, Sanjay and others made me very much at home. Had a small celebration too!! Would definitely recommend this for family buffet as well as corporate lunches. Keep up the great work!!!!

Good flavoursome food and a wide spread, but wouldn’t want to go back because of the lack of service . Impeccable service is usually what accompanies the name Marriott, but not here at the M cafe. We were told to wind up our buffet at sharp 3 and all the dishes were packed up ... never before have I experienced such in any of the Marriott hotels worldwide. Even if the buffet timings are set, courtesy sake most other restaurants don’t hurry up their customers just because their staff is on a clock roll. Specially for a 24/7 open cafe. This is what sets it down quite a notch. Would have given it a 4 , but the service totally disappointed.

We have been to this place for more 10 times. We went today after a gap of few months. We are only giving 2 star for the food. Service and staff quality has declined. The freshness of food item has gone down. Being a foodiee I feel insulted to even step into this joint. Adios M cafe.

Was here for an office lunch. I liked the food. The service was a bit slow - had to wait long for food to arrive. Overall nice. Will come again sometime for a lunch.

Ambience:3/5   Taste: 2/5   Service: 1/5   Value for money: 0/5Visited for lunch buffet. Pathetic service for the buffet customers. Nothing was perfect. Waste of money and time. Doesn't deserve a 5-star rating.

Just checked with restrau they say they don't accept zomato gold over weekends for their buffet but on weekdays yes. V disappointing to see that.

Staff were very friendly and accomodating, had great varieties of food. But for some dishes (specially veg) taste was not upto mark, Though Deserts were pretty good.
Himanshi Sharma
I was there for my business dinner. Open space is really cool. Food portion is very less plus the taste is not as expected from a 5 star hotel. Staff does not ask you if you want regular or bottled water. They simply give you regular water

Having an extensive menu which touches pan asian to Indian to chinese is one thing....but to have everything well cooked , served at right temperature and to maintain a consistency in flavors is another thing<br/><br/>Food 5/5<br/>Service 5/5<br/>Ambience 5/5<br/><br/>To name a few of the extensive list .....of the dinner buffet<br/>Grilled tenderloin, tofu and sea food soup, mushroom pepper fry, kashmiri aloo, dhaba dal, pesto marinated egg plant, sweet potato with prunes, salami, salami milan, cream cheese stuffed pimentos roll, wine poached pears with prunes, caprese salad<br/>Kashmiri mutton biriyani, chilli noodles, fish in capers ....<br/>In dessert sections....Dry cake with lemon mousse, fruit cake, rasgulla, dryfruit barfi<br/><br/>Could only add a welcome refreshing drink as a part of the menu....probably a fresh lime soda or an iced tea could complete the entire show with an applauded audience ....<br/>

Went to M-cafe  on Valentine's day night for dinner buffet. We were completely let down by the service. With Marriot's branding I expected best of service,s but ended up in having worst from a 5-star hotel. <br/>1. Had to ask multiple times for a child seat or sofa for our toddler<br/>2. We were not offered for any of the rotis/breads like Naan or roti.<br/>3. On the live counter, ordered Bajjis/vadas and stuffed parathas, which never came to our table. Had to remind them again after 30 minutes or so and we received just one of the two parathas we ordered after the reminder and the second came after we were having desserts.<br/>4. The special dinner buffet for valentine's day included a price tag for wine (598 or so for two people) which we did not have. Final bill included the wine price and we were never offered any Mocktails or juices in replacement of wine. Only after asking explicitly for juice, they offered a canned juice that too came when we were walking out which could not be consumed again.<br/>5. Food varieties were not that good either for the Vegetarians. There was a live barbeque which literally had a sign "if you don't eat meat, dont show up". This is so mean.  Would never come here again.<br/><br/>For the huge price we paid, we received worst service :(

Whitefield Marriott is located very near to our Bangalore office. Visited M Cafe for lunch during my recent visit to Bangalore.<br/><br/>M Cafe is a good place to have buffet lunch with a wide spread of buffet, nice ambience and good service. We tried a lot of items in buffet and the food was fresh and tasty.<br/><br/>We tried soup - corn and mint soup, starters - paneer tikka, potato tokri, veg tikki, salads, hummus & pita bread, dahi vada, curd rice, pickled onions, curries - french beans dry, paneer curry, veg kofta curry, dal fry, roti, veg biryani, fried rice, live counter - kathi rolls, desserts - gajar ka halwa, cakes/pastries/tarts, barfi/laddoo, mousse etc.<br/><br/>Overall good food, good ambience and good service. Surely worth visiting for buffet lunch/dinner.

Went there with full family to celebrate our anniversary.... opted for a la carte menu instead of their regular buffet.... ordered soup, starters and the main course.... food was good and very courteous service.... just wished for service to be a bit fast as well as the waiting period between each course was pretty annoying....

We had a very bad experience. The buffet spread was very limited just 2 non veg starters.<br/>Also the service is very poor. No waiter understood what we are talking. Very less informative people.<br/>Didn't expect this from a place like Marriott when they charge a hefty amount

Well what to do if you're craving for some superbly sinful and delectable desserts in the middle of the night. Head over to Marriott. And hey since it's the middle of the night there's no traffic ;)

Went for 2018 Christmas brunch and had an average experience. The dishes tasted below average and wasn't worth the 2500 per person rates. Would rather prefer preparations from Taj.

First impression - the ambience wins you over and your expectations get set even higher and it didn't disappoint on the higher bar. I see some folks start comparing the buffets at 5 star hotel with the chain restaurants like AB's etc, which is not fair. Fare here though limited in comparison stands nothing less, the variety is quite different from the regular fare in AB's, etc. I liked the spread. Grilled Fish in lemon butter sauce was the star, both veg and non-veg starters, salads, were great to relish. Desserts again had a great spread, somehow in that ice-cream was missing. Overall the lunch, the service, the hosting - the experience was great.<br/><br/>Improvements : I would expect live counters to probably serve some more that just rolls. <br/>And yes, the washrooms ran out of water and  remained so for half an hour that I tried getting into twice, something that can be easily avoided by a some1 like Marriott

Among famous buffets of a hotel in whitefeild area m cafe served up some amazing ala carte lunch for me during my trip to blore. I left my order to chef Sanjay ... what came back from the kitchen was absolute perfectness! A mutton Chapli kebab which was juicy and soft with an amazing burst of flavours! Next up was one of the best shrimp risotto I’ve had... light with subtle flavours not drenched in cream like most of the risottos these days. The final dish was my general favourite grilled fish in lemon butter sauce which was again done up perfectly. I left happy :)

I would say, not up to my expectations. But wait a minute, there were some amazing things too.<br/>I came here with my client and whole project team. We were here to relish the lunch buffet. The ambience was stunning and amazing, well its in Marriott so that had to be. The staff is very courteous and helpful. And i really loved that part. Although, when i dug in the main course i was dissatisfied. The noodles were tasteless and bland, dry, as if they were cooked yesterday. The fish was tasty. The variety of the buffet was huge. I loved every dessert especially the pastries. The rasmalai here was the best rasmalai i had ever had in my life!

Quality of food has gone down drastically. Had been here a couple of times in the past at that time it was good. Today was really disappointing. Options were limited and taste was not impressive.

Marriott is obviously one of the most reputed brands in the industry and M Cafe does live up to the expectation. We ordered from the Ala Carte Menu, and the food was mostly good. We really liked the Starters and the deserts, main course was a little bit of a let down as our expectations were very high. We tried Chicken Fingers and Paneer Tikka, both were extremely tasty with the right balance of spices. In Main course we had ordered Murgh Makhani, I felt it was a tad undercooked which left it a little chewy. Rasmalai and Chocolate Brownie with Ice Cream were really good.<br/>Ambience: 5/5<br/>Service and Staff: 5/5<br/>Food: 4.5/5<br/>Value for money: 4/5<br/>

Yet another Sunday Brunch with nothing but best culinary delight one can expect at a 5 star. The spread was lavish starting from Indian, Asian, Grilled, Salad, BBQ, Live Counters, Pasta and Pizza and so much more. And what a best way to finish your meal with a desserts, which is simply the best in town. Living up to the standard. Kudos to the staff, great service.

I really want to thank the team from M Cafe, you all made my day today. I came for breakfast with my family and it was awesome experience. Sorry my bad I didn’t remember all names but server Rahul was really very attentive and even manager Vinod was really great host. Even the girl at Restaurant entrance welcomed us with big smile. Chef was helpful in suggesting food to try. Food taste was really good.Last but not least, while entering hotel security staff welcome us with big smile and traditional „Namaste“ greet. Over all I want to say thank you team. You all are doing really excellent work. Keep up the spirit.

Tried the Lunch Buffets here and it was the best with a fine dining. As am a non-veg lover so would recommend any dish of chicken won’t disappoint you.
Pronay Talapatra
Had visited here for a buffet team lunch. Good ambience. Limited varities of veg and non veg food.few live counters.<br/>Still the taste of food was quiet good. They have a huge variety in desert section than the starters.<br/>Chicken biryani and chicken kebab was very good. The kebab will get melt in your mouth.<br/>Had a great time.<br/>Courteous staff, prompt service and hygienic.

Nice place to hangout late night... I love the burgers out here.. if you love beef n bacon.. this is the place to be when the city is all sleeping. Indian food is also good but not worth for the price.. i personally liked it but going by indian mindset few people might find it expensive.<br/><br/>Overall I love this place for the burgers I binge during midnights.. for desserts we don't have any good option here... Not sure during daytime or Normal hours if they have other options available..

Bengaluru Marriott Whitefield is the biggest and the most magnificent Marriott’s in Bangalore.The western-style high-rise hotel looks splashy & bright<br/>and the restaurant M cafe is designed elegantly with options for indoor and outdoor dining.<br/>We have been there multiple times for lunch buffet & brunch and the spread of the lunch buffet was good but the choice of food in the sunday brunch was disappointing with no seafood, horrible mocktails otherwise food and desserts tasted good,service was a bit disappointing.Overall a great place!<br/>Buffet Included:<br/> • 2 Soup: 1 Veg & 1 N-Veg <br/> • 4 Starter: 2 Veg & 2 N-Veg<br/> • Live Puri Counter <br/> • Salad: Veg & N-Veg<br/> • Assorted Breads & Cheese Platter<br/> • 4 Non Veg Main Course<br/> • 1 Non-Veg Biryani<br/> • 6 Indian Veg Main Course<br/> • 1 Continental Main Course<br/> • 1 Oriental Main Course<br/> • 1 Flavored Rice<br/> • 1 Noodle Preparation<br/> • 1 Steam Rice<br/> • Assorted Indian Breads<br/> • Papad<br/> • 8 Continental Dessert <br/> • 8 Indian Dessert<br/> • Pizza(Veg And Non Veg)<br/> • Pasta(Veg And Non Veg)<br/>Cost: 1268 AI Lunch & Brunch: 2360 AI PP

The food quality is great. The ambience is perfect. But what bothers us was the service. As soon as we reached no one was there to tell us the practice which was followed there as in whether starters are on table or self served. We felt as if no one cares.<br/><br/>We went for buffet there and everytime we had to call the waiter to clear the table. At a time there used to be 5 plates on our table and none of the staffs were bothered enough to get it cleared. Even for a glass of water we had to wait ages.<br/><br/>There was a pizza live counter. We went there to order a pizza. 1-1.5 hrs later the pizza guy came to bring to our notice that he has forgotten our order !!!<br/><br/>For the check also we had to wait half an hour to make them get our check. Not at all happy with the customer service there.

My favourite place to dine every time esp for their buffet dinner . The rogan josh needs special mention . Think my photos will make you drool and the courteous staff make us go back there every time .

Went there for dinner on Sunday evening. Didnt opt for buffet which is quite a spread, we ordered sea bass and mushroom risotto for main course along with chicken salad. While the restaurant ambiance is world class and service amazing, food taste was average, it lacked flavors. Particularly the risotto was a disappointment. Staff there is really nice, efficient and friendly.

Food is good, I like Marriott restaurants for third service and customer satisfaction policies, I had aglio olio pasta it was yumm... Also I tried kokatta kathi roll ... Was good too ...

A quick late night dinner it was. The service was poor. Took a long time to get the attention of someone .. Had to wait and hope someone notices us to get some water or to serve food. Took ages to get us our change after paying the bill. The plug point next to our table did not work to charge my phone .. The food was okay. The roast chicken was not cooked well. The creme brûlée was good. <br/><br/>Did not create a fuss as it was a quick dinner but wouldn’t want to celebrate an occasion or go out for a relaxed and long meal here.

Myself DEAN DAVIS. I have been to Marriot MCAFE in whitefield for more than 50 times and I am Club marriot member.<br/><br/>There are two types of people in Marriot, one who serves well with pleasing behavior<br/><br/>and one who have ego. Harish is a specific person who makes me feel uncomfortable. Harish looks somewhere<br/><br/>when I try to call him, takes more time to deliver food compared to his colleagues, the portion size of <br/><br/>"A la carte" food is very small compared to the serving of his colleagues. The way he stares at me, makes me feel that I came to eat at his mercy. I try to avoid visiting MARRIOT whenever I encounter Harish presence. <br/>What's the point in going to 5 star Hotel, when there are people like Harish. I don't know why he is<br/><br/>doing this or someone else has a similar experience. Marriot will lose its customers with people like<br/><br/>Harrish. I like Marriot but People like Harish will spoil its reputation. I am calm person, but after <br/><br/>getting the repeated insult from Harish for more than 10 times, I finally got pissed off and had to raise Voice in public and bring the issue to light. I have attached harish Photo

I read the other amazing reviews on this so I guess mine was maybe just an off day.<br/><br/>It was my birthday so we visited M Cafe being close to office.<br/><br/>No issues with reservations and seating but the service was poor.<br/>There was a street food festival going on, a dish that I ordered never got served.<br/>The table was not getting cleared when we moved to the main course and at one time we had 5 plates on our table.<br/>The food was just ok, not many options in appetisers or main course. <br/>I asked for a pizza from the live counter to close the dinner.<br/>The only thing I loved was the LIIT but even that could not help the food.<br/>Recommend to a friend: No<br/>Will visit again: No<br/>

Visited for their buffet breakfast and the spread was incredible. From north indian to south indian to continental and oriental. The staff were awesome and went out of their way to help. The ambience was relaxed and casual and I loved the whole experience.

Went for their Sunday Brunch.<br/><br/>Awesome food! Especially liked their salads and the Mughlai non-veg mains.<br/><br/>The live grills could improve a lot though. But overall, worth visiting.
Aruna Sathish
Below average choices for salad. There was no variety at all. Main course was limited to just 4-5 dishes. Same with desserts. The fish fry had a bad smell even though it was taken from the live counter. I don't think it was fresh. Worst experience in a buffet so far.
Ranita Pal
Doesn't meet the expectations. A lot of variety we get in other buffets at half this price. Can't say liked anything exceptional here. Everything has a very average and generalised taste. Some were pathetic even.

M Cafe - A let down for me!!! Came for a buffet lunch on the eve of my wife's birthday. To start with the ambience it was good, as expected very subtle, pleasing to the eye & elegant. Pity it was raining cats n dogs, outdoor seating area was inaccessible. Coming to the important part, food was not that great. No. of items in the spread was way lesser than compared to some of it's contemporaries. Even the pasta counter was not lively which was bizzare for a 5 star hotel.Salad, salami, cheese(spread), starters, main course were ordinary except the fish amritsari & murgh biryani which was decent. Desserts section they had a usual spread yet less but a live jalebi station served with rabri, delicious and so was the mind-blowing chocolate mousse. But, but, but the service was just insanely good infact brilliant. These guys deserve to be applauded. Would have had loved to visit the place again if they could just serve better food.

Have been there recently and a couple of times earlier. They never disappointed me in terms of food variety they offer. However the taste is ok.<br/>Ambience is good 4/5<br/>Food is 3.5/5<br/>Service 3.5/5<br/>Overall if you want a star affair you can go.

Brilliant food. There is no compromise in quality whatsoever. No need to say about the ambiance.<br/><br/>Since it was a buffet, there was more than enough quantity. <br/><br/>The parathas were bit hard but when you have it with paneer Masala, it tasted real good.<br/><br/>I liked the rice as it was not loaded with Masala & it went well with Lucknowi fish gravy. Chicken gravy was ok but I wouldn’t penalise the restaurant with my rating just because of that.<br/><br/>Desserts were at its best. Give it a try. You will surely be happy with the food.
Neeraj Garg
We went for team dinner here.<br/><br/>Ambience is as good as it can be.<br/>In starters, for veg, there were only 4-5 items that too not very tasty.<br/>In main course, there were 3-4 average curries. That's all.<br/>The desserts section had a good variety and taste.<br/><br/>Frankly speaking, I like BBQ, AB's, Flechazo etc much more than M Cafe, Marriott. If you want to relish some good Indian food, there are better places than this.

Very good ambience and awesome food. Staff is super friendly and keeps a great conversation. Was a pleasure visiting the restaurant -> do try their sandwich and burger.
