We decided to visit Oko when we saw that there was a 50% off offer through Zomato Gold Carnival. When we reached, we were informed that it was closed but when we informed them that we had a booking, we were allowed to have dinner.
We started with the soup. Before it was delivered, we were given nachos as an appetizer I guess which was quite tasty. We then had a Miso Prawn soup which was also nice.
For starters, we had Jirou Jicai Jio dumplings and Kai Takrai chicken, both of which were very nice.
For the main course, we had the Chicken Phad Thai. I also wanted to try the rice, so we packed a Khao Phad Kaprao fried rice which we had yesterday. The rice tasted great but the Phad Thai had something lacking. That was the only item we weren't completely satisfied by.
The lighting was very dim, perhaps because the restaurant was supposed to be closed. Our server Mr Shyamal was very helpful and a pleasure to interact with. Overall, we had a very nice experience apart from the Phad Thai.
An underrated place, Oko serves some brilliant Thai and Chinese food. I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of ingredients used and the sustainable practises that they follow.
Some recommended dishes include their range of Thai Curries(made from scratch inhouse) and the Pandan Leave Chicken. Understated ambience is in stark contarast to Kitty Ko nearby.
I was here for mandarin calling chinese food festival enjoyed every single offering. I loved the crispy lamb, lemon grass corn soup, crystal dumplings, eggplant in blackbean sauce and chocolate bao.

Good Ambience, delicious Japanese food 😋, Good customer service. Sushi is a must try! Main dishes Tiger Prawn + Sticky rice, nice combination.
The food was excellent . Specially the sushi and bao .Service can be improved .
Excellent food. Chef came to the table to ensure that the food was as per our taste. Ordered Thai green chicken curry and jasmine rice and it was fantastic. The desert served by the chef at the end was a surprise and was extremely good. Price is on higher side considering it is 5-star hotel. Can visit for special occasions
The place has amazing ambience! Just mind blowing in the night.. has 2 sections- outdoor and indoor.. i preferred the indoor coz it looked stunning and had a serene look about it.
Very courteous staff. Taught me how to use chopsticks. Food was amazing both in looks and in taste. Tried Thai for the first time so can't comment on the authenticity as such but it was very tasty and very costly (obviously).
Recommended! - if u have a large wallet and want to spend a good classy evening and enjoy the place and food. Don't forget to use the chopsticks!!
Good taste and ambience. Bit on the expensive side.
While the food was excellent and the cocktails well made, there is something about this place that I don't like. Possibly the ambience, seating, lights inside the table. Wish they do up the place a bit, looks ignored!
Savour enticing sushi, sashimi and oriental delicacies as the shimmering Bangalore skyline complements the dining experience. Each dish may be paired with a wine from the extensive wine cellar featuring the finest vintages and new world wines.
