Review Caperberry - Bengaluru

Tanmay Jyot
A nice quiet place. Romantic at night with candle light. The staff is very attentive and precise. Food was delicious what you would expect in a fine dining restaurant. If you prefer an Indian pallet this is not the place. The only thing we did not enjoy was the desserts. Dark chocolate was too sweet to be called dark chocolate.

Cosy dining room Delicious food Very pleasant service The dining room is not to big and keep things intimate The tasting menu which is available veg and non veg is delicious. Plan for two hours as there are many dishes but don't be too afraid they are mostly small and light Every dish is very well presented on the plate and made of fresh ingredients cooked to perfection The wine and cocktail list is ample enough The service is reliable and lovely A wonderful place for a romantic dinner

Absolutely great place... Something that you'd go to for special occasions and won't forget in a hurry. The quality of meats is very good, as is the presentation of the food. Very knowledgeable servers give good recommendations. Quite deservedly among the top fifty restaurants in India.

Visited this restaurant in Dec 2018.. one of the best European cuisine I have came across in India. These in house baked breads literally won our hearts as soon as we started off with it. As being vegetarians they suggested Patata Bravas one of their specialty, the sauce on top was scrumptious so as the soup. For the mains we went for ravioli and paella both were damn delicious and true treat for taste buds. - oh and sorry for late review. A must visit restaurant in Bengaluru.

The place: Tastefully designed for fine dining, the hallway is covered with glass and shimmering lights and the walls alongside decorated with paintings. So good ambience The Food: A lot of options in world cuisines. Food prices are steep but the taste was good and authentic for most delicacies we ordered. They specialise live making of desserts, And its worth of each penny. Restuarant was very neat and clean well maintained too

The cravings for a lazy late lunch was satiated to its fullest at this finest place of dining. Being a vegetarian i didn't expect much but was really surprised. Ordered Dark Chocolate and Hazelnut Decadence All the dishes really served the purpose of food - Bringing happiness. The staff was really friendly and accommodating. Would love to visit again and again for the wonderful food they serve.

A good place to opt for fine dining. Quick and friendly service from the staff. Good options in menu. Loved the red wine sangria, tiramisu and the baked asparagus and leek filo parcel

Today , I had a Michelin class three course menu at Caperberry in Posh UB city. Curated by Celebrity Chef , Abhijit Saha , the three course prix fixe lunch reminded me of my culinary meal at some of the Michelin star restaurants in Singapore and Bangkok. Priced at ₹ 950 for a three course lunch with a glass of Sangria during weekdays , we were served Amuse Bouche at this cosy classy and elegant European style interior restaurant situated on the first floor. For the first course , we chose Baked Asparagus and Leek Filo parcel as vegetarian option , along with the Chicken stuffed mushroom caps a la plancha. It was followed by two main course dishes , Romesco powder crusted fish of the day and the truffle scented stuffed chicken breast. And we ended our caperberry culinary sojourn with the two delectable desserts , dark chocolate decadence and the Entremet . They also have two course lunch menu priced at ₹ 750 . Please note kids below 8 years of age are not allowed. . #thefoodietales #caperberry #ubcity #culinary #chicken #iphone #iphonex

Its an experience more than the food which is worth the visit. I found the food and ambience rather plain. However the experience and drama attached to the serving was awesome and a try it once kinda thing. The price is pretty high at 2000 per head with drinks. But then again, its for special occasions.

One of the best restaurant I have ate till date. The taste and the presentation both are exquisite. They have n course meals as well as all carte. The entree we got was a seafood dish. The flavor of the jus was awesome. The main course we took fish and chicken. Not too mention, they too we're at par with the entree. The desert was no surprise and lived up to the mark.

We went for a brunch at Caperberry, they have an a la carte menu for brunch. The restraunt and food is exquisite, everything is very well plated and nicely arranged, that complements the taste and quality. Portions are smaller but the taste covers it up.

Caperberry serves rich, delicate and appetizing food which tickles your taste buds and soothes your eyes. We went here for my Friend's birthday and had a great time. For starters we ordered the vegetarian tapas platter and potato bravas. The bravas were melt-in-your-mouth good. The main course was accompanied by bellinis, mimosas and wine (all of which paired very well with the food). We were 4 of us and ordered risotto, truffle oil ravioli, baby carrot paella and tortellini. All of which was beautifully seasoned and prepared delicately. We had no room left for dessert but once we paid the bill we realized that the staff had arranged for a decadent chocolate cake with beetroot powder !! Awesome! Best service and elegant place to dine!

Restaurant based on gastronomic molecular cuisine with awesome deserts to try, best for couples looking for candle light dinner, kids below 8 not allowed, high end restaurant

The paneer vegetarian starter was out of the world and that alone gets a 2 stars. The good is proper authentic European cuisine! A sky blue ambience overlooking the buildings around UB city!

Caperberry is a gastronomy paradise. It is a small place with only 6-7 tables. With a cosy, romantic setting, it is perfect for an anniversary/first date. Started with a palate cleanser made of cheese and fruit preserve, moved on to a deconstructed lamb starter and had fish as main course. Specially loved the starters and dessert. Tiramisu is the best I have had in Bangalore. They ended our dinner with a complimentary anniversary cake, a sweet gesture.

Caperberry serves rich, delicate and appetizing food which tickles your taste buds and soothes your eyes. We went here for my sister's birthday and had a great time. For starters we ordered the vegetarian tapas platter and potato bravas. The bravas were melt-in-your-mouth good. The main course was accompanied by bellinis, mimosas and white wine (all of which paired very well with the food). We were 4 of us and ordered risotto, truffle oil ravioli, baby carrot paella and tortellini. All of which was beautifully seasoned and prepared delicately. We had no room left for dessert but once we paid the bill we realized that the staff had arranged for a decadent chocolate cake with beetroot powder for my sis. Awesome! The only reason I am giving them 4 stars is because they took my reservation and when I called for postponing the reservation timings, the girl who took my reservation told me it was cancelled. Bijoy from the management team fixed it in time, but it did leave a bad taste in our mouth.

The true mark of Caperberry is innovation. Every time you eat at Chef Abhijit Saha's flagship, it's customary to be blown away by the food and the theatrics of that place. And Restaurant weeks are a great way to experience this spectacle! We started with a beautiful ruby bottle of 2011 Grover la reserva and ended with an amazing plate of faux mushrooms made with mousse and macarons. Though, the highlight of the meal was the fresh Burrata with a delicious gazpacho! Buen Provecho!!
Nandini Jayakumar
Mediterranean food at its best. Loved every bit of what I ate here. Ambience and food presentation definitely deserve 5-stars. Service can be made better.

You can't go wrong when Abhijit is helming the kitchens! Take your pick from the lovely menu and you are guaranteed the freshest ingredients and memorable flavours and textures! The only problem I have when I visit is whether to go here or fava!!

It was like a candle light tea time. Loved the place. They played really nice songs all remix one..the ambience was very soothing.

Caperberry is one of the nicer eateries in the Lavelle Road area. The food was good, the service was satisfactory, and the ambience quite comfortable. Add to that the charm of the UB City rooftop. Now I would have written more about the dining experience, but unfortunately it has been more than 2 years, and I don't remember the names of the dishes that we had ordered that day. Suffice to say that Caperberry would be worth your time and money.
Deepa .c
Capperberry to me is always the dessert place as they have the best lemon cheese cake. Which is the best and i can eat them forever. The ambience is so good that faces the amphitheater in UB city. I love the interior and the chairs. So comfortable and classy
Muqeet Khan (IG: This_iswhatwe_eat)
Sophisticated and classy! These are the perfect words to describe this lovely place. Located in UB city, right next to Fava this place is one of a kind. The decor is really classic and the staff explains the dishes is just the perfect way. You might have to wait for the food coz they make it look so attractive and amazing! The taste is really divine

Well, I started to enjoy and get to know so much more about food while I was doing a project related to food. And that's when I come across molecular gastronomy as a cusine, and you have very few restaurants who curate such an amazing food menu. it was a wonderful experience altogether
The salad we ordered for is called -
Father Michael's Valombrossa Burrata
And it consists of Compressed watermelon, black olive powder garlic crumbs and basil pesto.
It's one of the best salads ever had! You have a lot of different flavours which burst in you're mouth, it is a flavourful experience in you're mouth, and very appealing to look at. Definitely, a must-try if you are someone who likes to experiment with food. Design and food go hand in hand anyway.
A restaurant curated specially for a fine dining experience for all the diners out there, who love experimenting with food. A perfect place for fine dining, as well as a perfect place to take you, 're loved one for a date.
Well coming to the dishes.
They start with a complimentary dish where you have a cheese cube, with three different types of puree, it's more like a pallet cleanser before you start your meal.
For the tapas you have
Fake B52 shots -
black olive spheres, Feta sphere, Citrus tomato consomme.
Well, it's basically like dhai vada, but broken down into different elements, where you experience it in a much more fancy way.
This cuisine consists of a lot of surprise elements in the food, coming to flavour texture or presentation.

One of the best Italian in Bangalore.
Perfect for a date night or just a quiet dinner.
Ambiance: tucked in a very small place above fava in UB City. decor is minimalistic with some frames over wall and glass windows on one side.
Food
Starters:
Father Michael's valombrossa Buratta: Perfect. Compressed watermelon dressed with black olive powder and Burrata cheese. amazing.
Chicken stuffed mushrooms: Another good one. The mushroom was grilled to perfection and filling was also tasty.
Rocket beet and Goat cheese tortellini: Tortellini had good filling of cheese, sauce was also very nice.
Grilled fish with potato and leak: Iexactly don't remember which fish it was but good. the marinade was perfect and grilled to perfection.
Desserts
Dark Chocolate & hazelnut Decadence: Must try. loved it.
Green Apple Mousse: Not something of my taste. it was well represented though.
Four petite: Again something which was not of my taste.
Over all great Italian food, desserts are a bit too experimental .

It was a great experience. The food, wine and the service is amazing.

Mr Prasanjeet served us very nicely and along with educating us with the dishes we ordered.
Dr Afshan
Incredible food experience. Not only is their food delectable but also flavourful and delicate. Beautifully presented with intricate flavours. Had their chicken and golden corn soup which was delicate and packed with flavours. Other dishes which were beautifully created were the seafood paella and the John cory fish. Must try. A special mention to the ambience with good decor, lighting and music. Sets the mood perfectly for fine dining experience. The staff mr. Albert is quite courteous and helpful in his approach. Overall a much recommended place for a special occasion and quality time.

Prasanjith waited on us with patience and absolute professional. He took the pains to explain every question we asked about the menu to the point and even recommended options to choose from the menu.
The food was really tasty starting from the Fake B52 starter shots to the Imitation Mushroom dessert.
While serving the dishes Prasanjith also explained every component of it.
5/5 would definitely visit again for a special occasion.
Thanks for the great experience.

Caperberry a place in luxury mall is a good place for nitrogen ice cream

Ambiance was really good when lights when on and romantic

Prices are bit high but it’s ok for a visit

Deserts were really good and yummy and strawberry ice cream was too good and can have more than one

Staff were friendly and helpful

A place to try when craving for ice cream

Ambience was amazing (perfect for candle light dinner). Staff (Prasenjit) was professional and polite. Service was quite good. Food was delicious. We had chicken stuffed mushrooms caps, pepitoria chicken, truffle scented stuffed chicken breast.

Visited this place after almost 7 years. Really great place, still kept up with the lovely flavours. Lovely small cozy room above Fava in UB City. The ambiance and service was a total 5/5. However would have preferred to few more food options on the menu. We had the potata bravas, mushroom stuffed chicken starter, meat paella and pepitoria chicken. All dishes were amazingly tasty. The mushroom-chicken starter was so juicy and well cooked, it was one of the best I have ever eaten. All others were well-balanced in terms of taste. Kudos to the chef.

Caperberry is a place which I wanted to check out from long time. Every time I go it used to full or the plans with my friends would change. Once we went to UB city thinking we can go there but our client said they want to go eat Indian food in UB city and not Mediterranean cuisine. Therefore, I vowed to go back in there the following week.
It is a small place tucked inside Fava on the first floor. The hallway leading up to it so well-designed and lit that you may feel that you are in very cinematic visually stunning stairs. Ambiance is very old school and classy suitable for people who want to spend quality time with each other. Families, couples, old friends all alike can enjoy the time spent here.
We ordered Embutido, Mango duck and Meat paella (which i wanted to try from long time) with a combination of Chardonnay. Prices are not costly for the food and service they provide. I am a complete illiterate person to use different types of spoons, forks while eating. But this place made it very easy for me to not feel alien or not belongingness. Had a great time here so definitely going back again.

It was an amazing experience, aswe wwnt on Monday night, we had the whole restaurant to ourselves. It was an amazing anniversary dinner. And I relved my days in Spain by eating the most authentic Paella, patatas bravas, amoked salmon with Spanish Rioja red wine. An experience worth going every month. Love it.

Great birthday dinner Caperberry . The ambience and food makes the visit really memorable. From drinks to starters to main course, everything is delicately curated and the ingredients make the food sing on your plate. Also to mention our server Prasanjeet was very courteous and really took care of all the courses. All in all, a must visit in Bangalore

Amazing live tiramisu made by Mr. Prasenjit who explained and made it really well. It was extremely palate pleasing and even my sister who doesn't like tiramisu really loved it. Will be back here for this anyday.

I really wanted to go to someplace fancy and after a lot of research, came across this restaurant that paled every other fine dining experience I have had. With a lovely European decor, perfectly selected record of calming music and an impeccably furnished cosy interior replete with candle light and flowers, this place is perhaps the most lavish and romantic dining experience in the city. We tried out the vegetarian degustation menu and every meal that was served was delicious. Every course looked like a work of art, surely whoever has come up with the menu has spent hours perfecting each dish, experimenting with the smell and taste of a hundred ingredients. The night was special and it was a meal I would again crave for soon enough.

We had a lovely anniversary dinner at caperberry. The staff was very thoughtful and the ambience , jazz music just added to our experience. Food was great especially the desserts ... We loved the crabmeat soup as well... Thanks and keep up the food and service.

I loved the fish starter and the duck was good too. The quantity is awesome. Presentation of food was pretty unique too. I also liked their welcome foods. Would love to visit it again.

Visited the place for dinner....ambience is good and quite. It is not quite visible from outside so you have to find your way to it. The food was good and the presentation deserves full marks. We were served complimentary red wines as well :) the tiramisu was really good.

Ram Choudhary
The entrance to this place is from inside Fava. It's in the first floor, with a special mirrored entrance. The ambience is really nice, and the staff is very courteous. Presentation of food is beautiful and there are some unique items on the menu. A bit high on the prices, as you'd expect in fine dining. We liked all the items that we ordered, except Berry smoothie - tried it as to experiment but berry, chocolate, and peanut butter don't go so well apparently. 😀

Special mention to candlelight and so many complementary items (bread and dips, chef's special taster, and candies on sticks). Had a great experience overall. 😊

Prasanjith was an excellent host. Cheers

We went to Caperberry for a Saturday dinner. The staff are very courteous. The place is very compact though, and will be quite irritating if you end up having a noisy, pretentious neighbor like we did.

Coming to the food, the stuffed chicken breast and coffee were excellent. The veg paella is quite good but stay away from the mushrooms. The starter of Patates bravas though was very underwhelming with some of the potatoes being undercooked and the Wasabi sauce barely having any Wasabi in it.

Not undercooking food is a basic expectation from a fine dining establishment. Otherwise, Caperberry was a nice gastronomic experience ignoring the noisy accoustics.

The cravings for a lazy late lunch was satiated to its fullest at this finest place of dining.
Being a vegetarian i didn't expect much but was really surprised.
We ordered for -
Baked Asparagus and Leek Filo Parcel
Fake B52 shots
Pineapple and Basil Gazpacho
Four Mushroom Four ways
Panko Fried Broccoli and Cauliflower
Dark Chocolate and Hazelnut Decadence

All the dishes really served the purpose of food - Bringing happiness.
Was really happy with the food.
The staff was really friendly and accommodating.
Had only a teeny tiny complaint - The glasses in which we were served water were a bit smelly.
They had to be replaced twice. Again here would like to mention that the staff were really prompt to take care of if the moment we brought it to their notice.

Would love to visit again and again for the wonderful food they serve.
Keshav Kunal
I had heard lot of praise for this restaurant from a friend and therefore wanted to visit this place since a long time.

I tried their degustation menu (Non-vegetarian). Apart from that I also ordered a Smoked Scottish Kiss.

The server was very courteous and explained each item after serving them 👍🏻🙂.

The ambiance and the decor was really nice. The music 🎵🎶 playing in the background added to the pleasant experience.

The food items were so well cooked and delectable 👌🏻. I enjoyed all the items thoroughly but the ones that stood out for me were the Imitation Mushroom Garden, Marinated Yellowfin Tuna & Pickled Beet, and the Smoked Scottish Kiss 😇. The presentation of the food items was spectacular 😍.

I had a great and memorable fine dining experience ❤️.

The New Age Tiramisu is a signature dish of the restaurant that is prepared live on the table with cookies dipped in frappe and a hint of Kahlua and chocolate. An intresting thing to note about the delicious dessert is that it comes with sweet cheese that is pressurized with carbon dioxide in a canister which makes the dish lighter on fats. Garnished with some cocoa powder for the hint of tiramisu and coffee beans, the dish is an absolute delight to the eyes and the taste buds. The staff is generously warm and involved me in the aura of the place. Though a date perfect place, hanging out alone for the love of food made it special for me. Also try the Imitation Mushroom Garden from the desserts menu. That's another burst of flavors in the mouth.
Aryaman Parashar
Dined here recently. Got the non-vegetarian tasting menu and really enjoyed it. The staff were super accommodating and hospitable- special thanks to Chandan who took care of us.

P.s.- they're more than happy to provide vegan versions of various items on the menu.
Srikanth Vachaspati
Great place to go anytime, and I went on a Sunday afternoon. Had the degustation menu - the chef curated fixed menu.
Every item was a delight both to the eyes, palate and all the senses. Exquisite presentation, great taste and above fantastic unobstructive but prompt and courteous service.
Highly recommended as a gastronomic experience.

It was a nice cozy place and we were attended to well and politely so. The food was tasty and a class apart. If I have to give a feedback that would be serving a spoon along with a saucy meal (I could have asked for it but didn't realize the need until I made a vain attempt to polish the remaining saffron sauce of ravioli with fork simultaneously wiping the dripping sauce form my face) and the dessert with gold dust - the dust could have been on the desert itself as against on the plate so that it didn't get wasted with the plate (as licking with fingers didn't look like a decent option considering the ambiance)
Rajdeep Kalsi
The place shows a lot of promise but does not meet it. The food is sub par and the presentation does a tad bit better job than its description. Hard on the wallet compared to the fire in the belly.
SHANKAR S.P
Caperberry at UB City. Good food, courteous and helpful staff, soft soul jazz playing in the background. But the army of mosquitoes buzzing around chewed the hell out of our ankles - in a manner of speaking, spoiled the ambiance for us. In these days of vector borne diseases, Caperberry management needs to do something urgently, to rid the place of mosquitoes.

The desserts are one of the best I've had, A great fine dining experience in the city. We tried the duck and stuffed chicken for mains and potato braves for starters. We also tried the chocolate decadence for dessert and it was amazing too.Highly recommended. keep it up caper berry team.very soon i will bring my team lunch....

Namaste !!
We recently visited caperberry in ubcity , Lavelle Road. It was really an amazing experience - with lovely ambiance and service . When you enter the place it gives you a really nice vibe and you must definitely try this place for some amazing gastronomy work they have !!

So we basically went in for the amuse bouche - a proper course meal
First we had the

Fresh Burrata and baked asparagus & leek filo parcel
Let me tell you it was the best way to start off your meal !! Both the dishes were phenomenal
The burrata was perfect and had good amount of freshness in it and the filo parcel too was amazing

Then we had The
Glazed shiitake & shimeji mushrooms
If you are a mushroom lover then definitely must try ! All the minute elements of this dish tasted good and presented well .

Then we had the sweet cherry tomatoes and manchego tart
This was one of the highlight of our evening meal !!
The tart was cooked well , the cherry tomatoes juicy and delicious . It was a nice main course and a good way to end our mains

For desserts we had
Their famous imitation mushroom garden and dark chocolate decadence
Amazing !!!
Good way to end the meal with the petit four and was a lovely experience

Overall the place really encapsulated the European flavours so beautifully that we will surely come here again !!

Service - 4.5/5
Food - 5/5
Ambiance - 5/5
The Epicurean
The closest attempt to a Michelin Star meal in Bangalore. Cozy setting with only 6 tables, the management has done well to keep it small as restaurants like this will never be mass. They’ve tried to be different and the food is quite good, had their Fake B52 shots which have a unique texture and feel, also tried their cured meat platter which could be a lot better. The Cheese Platter was nice as were the Prawns Al Ajilo. Their deconstructed Lamb was interesting too. Their take on Tiramisu was the best thing we had. Good Wine List too and they do give you good service and a fair attempt at Fine Dining. The need smaller serving plates as they occupy too much space on their not so big tables. Will be back to try their Prix Fixe Menu again.

Love this place.... people working there are soo polite and food is awesome. Will visit again.♥️
Food 5/5
Service 5/5
Ambience 4/5
Must try this place,

We tried the veg and non veg tasting menu and it was absolutely awesome. Really unique experience that's not so easily found elsewhere in Bangalore. I am pregnant and couldn't have alcohol so they took the trouble to customise the dishes for me. The wait staff Chandan was polite and patient and took the time to explain everything in detail. Ambience and music were also perfect. Very romantic and classy. But the pricing is high and definitely a high end restaurant so plan accordingly.

CAPERBERRY IS ALL THINGS LOVE.
DO NOT WASTE TIME READING THIS REVIEW. JUST GO THERE ALREADY!

This was probably the finest dining experience that I've ever had. The ambience, the service, the food and the overall experience made my day all the more spectacular!
If you're planning your date night, stop right there and just go to Caperberry and trust me, you'll have the time of your life!
The ambience is beautiful. The interiors are fancy and the music soothing. Perfect for a date!
As you're waiting for your order, you're treated with a complimentary bread basket and a particular appetizer, which, for us, was a cucumber dish that tasted heavenly! Perfect start indeed.
We then ordered 'Prawn Al Ajillo' and 'Meat Paella'. The prawns were just OUT OF THIS WORLD. So beautifully prepared that it just melts in your mouth and you experience something so spectacular that you can't help but want more. The Meat Paella too was just delicious! Truly one of the best meals I've ever had!
Now, I have to mention here that Caperberry serves the BEST TIRAMISU IN BANGALORE! I've tried tiramisus at plenty of restaurants here, but nothing, absolutely nothing came close to the one in Caperberry. DO NOT LEAVE WITHOUT TRYING THE TIRAMISU AT ANY COST! In fact, we tried the Live tiramisu which was a different and a really nice experience. Loved it!
The drinks too were pretty good and complimented the food really well.
As we finished the desserts, we were offered complimentary sweets which were yummy.
The overall experience was definitely one of a kind. Never had this kind of an experience anywhere esle. Although it is slightly on the pricier side, I assure you that the food is worth every penny. Go to Caperberry for a Once in a lifetime experience!

Overall rating:
Food - 5/5
Ambience - 5/5
Service - 5/5
After hearing people talk about Caperberry for years, I finally came here to celebrate my birthday. The whole experience from reserving a table to taking pictures in the end was fantastic.

After going through their menu, I knew that my dinner was going to be a hit as most of the dishes on the menu were not seen anywhere else.

Ambience:
The interiors have a cool tone with hues of blue all around, very classy looking with portraits at corners of the restaurant. The music was also great, just enough to fit in the background rather than blaring out loud.

Service:
One of the few places in Bangalore that actually have well-trained staff. I received a call in the afternoon to confirm the reservation and whether I was celebrating anything to which I told them it was my birthday.
Once I arrived, the staff were warm and courteous. Highly knowledgable about the menu and made sure we were well taken care of. To find staff who know their menu thoroughly is rare in our city and this was one of the places where I could actually converse with the staff about what to have.

Food:
We were given an amuse bouche made of mango, basil and ginger. Pretty amazing stuff! Then we started with a smoked salmon sushi with goats cheese. One of the best I’ve had till date.
Following which we ordered drinks which were well concocted. Some of them were so good to the point that my friends wanted more!
For mains, we ordered the pan seared duck confit, pork belly, John Dory, and truffle scented stuffed chicken. Each of them with unique flavours and prepared to make all of us sit in awe of these dishes! Among these, the John Dory and Truffle Scented Stuffed Chicken were amazing. While the pork and duck were on the sweeter side but nonetheless, the best we’ve had in a while.
To my surprise, Caperberry had got a cake organised for my birthday. A delicious dark chocolate and coffee cake which left everybody drooling. Even to the point that the cake was polished in minutes.
After that, they got us three sweets which the host made sure we paid attention to and ate in the order he mentioned. For those of you who haven’t been here, they make a very tempting truffle so make sure you try it out!

Overall, Caperberry makes for a really classy experience and if you don’t like it to be crowded, I recommend you come here between Monday and Thursday night.
With recognition from international chefs, you won’t be surprised by how great this restaurant is.

Dining at Caperberry is always a very satisfying experience. From the quaint little space, elegantly adorned with art and salon style furniture, to the old school jazz stylings of Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald, it evokes a vibe not often found in Bangalore. And we haven’t gotten to the food yet.

Our server Prasenjit was very knowledgable about the menu and was helpful with quick suggestions.

To start with, the salmon and goat cheese roulade was great. Rich from the salmon, creamy from the cheese and a slight bit of acidity to cut through.
Also starting from the appetisers were the panko baked mussels that were sweet and buttery with the panko adding the crunch to every bite!

For my main, I had the pan seared duck breast that was cooked to a perfect medium rare and perfectly rendered down fat cap served with fresh mango to balance the dish. I’d possibly liked to have my duck skin slightly more crispy but that’s splitting hairs a bit.
Cocktails were fresh and actually provided to be a good accompaniment to our food.

All in all, another lovely experience.
P.S shout out to the fresh bread. That was baked delightfully well!
Amazing place to dine out with your loved one on special occasions . Calm ambience and delicious food just takes you to a different mode of dining experience all together.

Sweet cozy setting, caperberry is a good choice for meat eaters, but for vegetarians the place can be a little difficult given the limited options. Fusion things that are tried are kind of nice. A decent experience all in all.

Tasty food, good spread, courteous and knowledgeable staff, great ambience, value for money - what else one could ask for on any special day! We thoroughly enjoyed being here.

One of the freshest, flavourful and fanciest meals eaten! All dishes tried had the ingredients in right measures. The ravioli with saffron and porcini was melt in the mouth. Live Tiramisu the best ever!

A cozy little restaurant which will leave happy and mouth relishing memories. 😂😍😂😍 Sometimes the fancy names gives you a shock once u order them. However, this dish was not that bad. 🎃🎃🎃🎃Paella is basically Rice used in Spain, it looks like sticky rice but is not at all sticky.

➡️Where: @caperberry_blr UB City Mall

➡️Food Ordered:
Amouse Bouche
Baby vegetable and Almond Paella
Mango Entrement: Mango, passion fruit, almond and redcurrant.

➡️Food Taste: Awesome 4/5

➡️Taste: 4/5

➡️ Service: 4/5 staff is very courteous and patient to listen to any customisation.

➡️Go or NoGo: Definitely Go

After a lot of research and going through multiple rave reviews on multiple sources, I decided to spend our belated Valentine's dinner here. We booked the table a few days in advance with special mention that we will be having the tasting menu. On arrival we were greeted by courteous staff which led us to our table, and then reconfirmed about the tasting menu.
The amuse bouche of the day was amazingly good, however everything went downhill from there.
The entree took a good 45 minutes to come, due to some issues with plating as we were told. Since it was pretty early in the evening we really didn't mind it but that was the first red flag I guess. A good half an hour later we were served the blue fin tuna with wasabi and orange cream along with pickled beets- nothing we were impressed by.
The third course was the sea food bisque which was good however the seafood wasn't properly cooked on one of the dishes.
This was followed by what were supposed to be fake b52 shots with tomato consomme and black olives and feta cheese balls. Too much tomato in the consomme and not enough flavor of either the feta or the olives. A total waste of food in my regard.
Next up is where things really went South. Half an hour later we were served duck breast with peanut cream and a few other accompaniments. The duck was way too undercooked and so we asked for it to be redone. Half an hour later our replacement dish was even more underdone and that was the last nail in the coffin for us. We had spent nearly 2.5 hours in the place and were only 3 courses down with most of the time spent waiting for the chef to make the dishes which are the USP of this place. We finally decided to call it a night and refused further courses and politely exited after paying for drinks. A solemnly horrid experience from a place which is meant to be the creme de la creme of the restaurant world. I hope things change, because if they don't , the management surely will have to call it quits.

P.S.- it was not just us who were fed up with the dining, the people seated next to us were on the verge of leaving as well.

This place actually matches the hype and reputation. It has an impeccable combination of taste, flavor and presentation that is sure to scintillate even the most discerning gastronomic palate. Even the soup sticks had a very subtle flavour of what I think was parmesan which just picked it up to a totally different level.

We had a Veg Tapas Platter, Four Mushroom Four Ways, And Quiona-Millet Rissoto. All of the dishes we supremely satisfying and we left extremely happy. I'm definitely going back.

Love just everything about the place.. I only wish they had kept the ambience similar to that they had on MG road. The food is just amazing and the service is impeccable. The breads that they serve complimentary are just so fresh that you want to ask for more but do not want to over fill your tummy with it so you have space to explore their menu. We had:
- the veg tapas platter - I would call it small wonder. Each and every single dish was curated so beautifully that I just wanted to gaze into it for a while before I could actually eat it.
- white wine and beet tortellini - another absolutely delicious dish. The tortellini were cooked just right
- black olive and pistachios dessert - the desert looked beautiful. However, we found it a little too sweet. Nevertheless, the flavours were good and so was the presentation.

In all, a great fine dining experience

I've been here twice and it has become my favorite restaurant for special occasions.
Located in UB City, a cozy restaurant with exceptional service.
Classic ambiance, exquisite decor, and food ... speechless! Simply divine!

Went there for lunch with dine-out reservation. The ambience was great and cozy. No restrooms in the restaurant and one has to go downstairs to fava for the same.

The presentation of the dishes were great but tastes weren't great. The food was pricey too as is understandable from the location. Wouldn't go there again and would rather visit Taj MG Road.

This a very classy place. Perfect for a date or with family. Service was fantastic. I visited this place within a gap of exactly a year. Sadly for a place like Caperberry, the menu had no change or addition. As such we were pretty much sure about what to order. The pea and asparagus soup is highly recommended. The starters were average while the desserts were good. Overall it will burn your pocket but the experience is good.

Had dinner for two a few weeks ago and tried the veg degustation menu.
Tasty food, friendly staff and decent ambience.

Chandan, who was in charge of our table took the time to explain the ingredients of each course that was served.

Overall, had a good experience. Thank you.

Another benchmark in the city when it comes to a classy fine dining. From the moment you enter the place, classiness simply follow you till you step out. Beautiful decor, light music, dim lights and tables decorated endearingly, this place surely redefines fine dining. This is one of those places where you feel like dressing up and feel good about the time you spent inside. The madness started with complimentary bread which was heavenly yum and so fresh as if they made it just when we entered. We ordered the following:

Virgin Sangria- Met our expectations
Watermelon Martini- Refreshing and lickworthy
Tapas Platter- Short of words to explain the yuminess and perfection
Beet Tortellini- Another yummiest dish I ever head, it was presented beautifully
Baked broccoli and cauliflower- couldn't have been better
Black olive gateau- Instigates you to get into food porn

Apart from these there was one cucumber palate cleanser and a cup of candies towered on a stick n need not to say that again both of these were simply amazing. Lastly, their service was just perfect. The guys were well trained, quite presentable and had complete knowledge of the menu n the cuisine. If you are looking for a super classy venue for a special occasion and have not been here, just don't think much!!

A cozy place for a romantic outing. The service is super nice, with the staff explaining every detail about the dishes. The nitro fuelled tiramisu is something not to be missed. The food is a bit over priced.

Me and my mother went for lunch on a weekday. I booked the table just 30min before . It was on a week day so it was available. Staff was very friendly. Mr. chetan suggested us really unique and tasty food for us VEGETARIANS.

I had been waiting to visit this restaurant for years but it never worked out. Imagine my joy when I got to go there for my birthday dinner. First impressions - wow this place is small! Over the years, larger than life restaurants have gained the forefront so a low-ceiling, cozy, window-less Caperberry was underwhelming with its pastel decor and gallery walls which are now mainstream IMO. The heavy brown curtain on the side and flatness of the ceiling only added to my boxed feeling, maybe it looks better in daylight. Anyway, we got a nice table in a far corner. The couch - not conducive to a knife and fork meal if you’re average height or under. I’m complaining too much yes but expectations were high, built up over years.

What I loved about the place is the extensive wine list and it took me some time to settle on a Rose. We started off with smoked salmon and goat cheese roulade served on a spoon - perfect! The truffle scented chicken breast and truffle oil ravioli were good too, but the ravioli portion was a tad too small even for a dish served in small portions. The saffron sauce was kind of a let down and was too milky for my taste.

Then came the much talked about live Tiramisu - great presentation. It was quite good, although I would’ve liked a wider selection of desserts. Rationale: if a menu is to cover a complete palette of flavour, one signature dessert with a berry core, for instance, was disappointingly missing.

Caperberry flattened out my anticipation. The concept, menu, and decor probably worked 10 years ago but with peers outside upping their game, it could be time to rediscover its authenticity.

Caperberry is an epitome of elegance and fine dining. As soon as you enter the restaurant, you will be mesmerized by the luxuriously intimate interiors. The walls are adorned with mirrors and the dim lights add charm to the setup.

The service was polished and excellent. The staff was extremely courteous and knowledgeable. He gave some good recommendations on food and I would suggest you to request one of them to explain the menu to you.

These were the dishes I and my friends tried:

Truffle oil centered ravioli - It was made up of vegetable fettuccine and fried leeks. It was one large Raviolo with a Saffron Sauce which was out of this world.

Risotto style quinoa and millet - This was something we were a bit hesitant to try but it turned out to be good. Perfectly cooked grains with the right amount of asparagus, garlic, and mascarpone.

Meat paella - It is a Spanish dish made up of rice. This was something new to us. My friends loved it!

Truffle Scented stuffed chicken breast - It paired very well with the mustard sauce and the sautéed mushrooms and my friends enjoyed it.

The only thing it lacks is variety. I am vegetarian due to which I run out of options to try something different. Nonetheless, it is definitely worth a visit!

Once of the finest place to visit in UB city mall , bangalore. Unique taste . Nice service. Dark and delegant interiors. They have precise menu but everything in it is prefect to the cusine they serve.

Its all about the snazzy private setting, and conspicuously theatrical plating. When it comes to fine dining at its best- this upscale restaurant called Caperberry is the place to be. The Non Veg Tapas platter was a great way to start off, gives you an opportunity to try out small portions of all the non veg starters. This platter has got you covered.

Picada Marinated Tenderloin was the most succulent meat I have had till date. They cook it according to your wish- Medium, Rare or Well done. Gnocchi was a perfect complement to the same. For the love of greens, the spinach was so smooth and tasty. The trio got along so well for the mains!

The staff was really courteous. Not only a feast for the tummy, but even for your eyes. The plating is what gets me more attracted and intrigued, gastronomical experience done the right way.

Just when it couldn’t get better- I tried the New Age Tiramisu (Live) and its a complete makeover of your basic Tiramisu cake, the mascarpone cheese keeps you wanting for more. Slightly expensive, but completely worth it. Cannot wait to come back and try the Tasting menu!

Caperberry is a cosy restaurant in UB city which serves really good food . If you are in caperberry you won’t even feel like you are in UB city . It’s a restaurant in FAVA in UB city

FOOD - overall 4/5

I and my friend to this restaurant for dinner to try out their special tasting menu . It was an EIGHT COURSE MEAL and trust me YOU WONT REGRET! Caperberry is an epitome of fine dine if I must say. An elegant interior lies in wait for you above as you make your way through the mirror adorned walls. The dim lights and soothing music add to the charm even more. Me and my mom were spoiled by the flawless service and the food as well. Rarely do we associate ourselves with such food which arouses every sense required of a diner. Such unique flavors and aroma, which goes to show just how much detail the chef would have taken into consideration to produce dishes with such finesse.

The freshly baked breads and the amuse bouche played a perfect melody for the taste buds. You have to taste it for yourselves to know better.

The leek and wasabi soup was such a pleasant surprise. Each ingredient complemented the flavor so well. The chicken stuffed mushroom caps while sipping on virgin sangria was pure bliss. For mains went for the baby vegetable and almond paella which was a fusion of rich taste with a creamy and crunchy texture. Totally fell in love with it. And finally came the dessert time for which we opted the dark chocolate decadence. Liked the slight touch of gold dust thus making it equally alluring for the eyes.

Had a wonderful time dining here and I absolutely recommend them.

I adore this place. It's one of the nicer restaurants in UB City. The place has about 10 tables and the intimate setting adds to the charm. The staff is deferential and courteous. I'd suggest you request one of them to explain the menu to you.
The desserts are one of the best I've had. For main course, I opted for Baby Vegetables and almond Paella and was pleased with what was delivered. For dessert, I'd recommend Imitation Mushroom Garden and Chocolate Decadence. The place also boasts of a well curated wine menu. All things considered, I would 100% recommend this fine dining tapas restaurant.
A great fine dining experience. Mushroom caps were amazing. Do try their cyro virgin mango-rita if you want to see the spectacular liquid nitrogen effect. I Tried salmon for the first time here. The staff members were very hospitable. Loved it..

I went here with my family for a long due comfortable family lunch. We were looking for a restaurant that provided an excellent culinary experience and afforded a comfortably slow paced service to make time for a good conversation. I decided we should give Caperberry a shot after checking out their menu and highly positive reviews online, and I am pleased to say that it was a decision well made. From the moment we stepped in, our host Chandan did everything to make our time there comfortable, being polite, present and yet, non-intrusive. The table I had reserved had been set up perfectly to accommodate us in good comfort. We indulged in the degustation menu option, which allowed us to try a greater variety of dishes than we thought possible thanks to the well-thought portion sizes. The food was excellent, with well balanced flavours, high quality ingredients, and beautiful eye-catching presentation. This is one culinary experience that a diner may enjoy with taste, smell and sight. It definitely is a comparatively expensive option, but one that justifies its cost with the quality of food and the sheer finesse of the entire experience. I walked out satisfied with every aspect of my experience, and this is a location that I can recommend without hesitation. A shout out to Chandan and the rest of the team at Caperberry for this wonderful lunch.
