Review Om Pure Vegetarian Restaurant - Bengaluru

Divya Prasher
Simple, homely food. Sabudana khichdi was simple and tasted exactly homemade. Idli was fluffy and sambhar was full of veggies which I liked most. Pohe ke cutlet was my favourite, it was served with a tasty green chutney which again tasted as if homemade. Will definitely recommend this place to people who want to eat simple, everyday home food.

Nice and homely food, love their thali and khichdi. Pleasant and friendly staff. Not too expensive for awesome food.

A little cozy place to go and spend time with loved ones. We had the buffet thali there which was quite affordable and good. The food reminded of home made food. Simple and tasty!

Grandma s idli is full of vegetables and flavours. It's highly recommended. Plus the free library where you can pick a book and also leave your old books to share with the world. Lovely concept.

Amazing food ..feel like home food and the staff served really well ...

Food is delicious and if you really want to have simple homemade food taste, then its best place to be. The menu they have is not with long list so don't expect a lot of options, however seems this is how they are ensuring they give you fresh homemade type food. Its not easily visible from main road, its inside plaza, so be careful. For parking you can go in the back of this building and they have secured/ reserved parking for plaza, or else of course you can park (2 wheeler) on side road near Harry's Bar and cafe.

This place has awesome home-like food, with very little extras. They play light bollywood instrumental music and the waiters and restaurant manager always greet you with a pleasing smile. The prices are moderate. I really recommend their Thali - they take only a couple of minutes from ordering to serving, and it's delicious!
Gaurav Jain
This food is closest to the home-made food. They have a fixed thali menu, where you can have almost unlimited food in fixed price. This will always overfill your stomach. The staff is very nice and gentle. This place is best to go for lunch as the food would be too much for dinner.
Minal Shinde
It's soul food which makes you feel happy not only stomach wise but also heart wise. I feel content after having there Thalia. Affordable and still awesome taste wise. I love to come to this often and have a heart full meal
Anant Choubey
Highly recommended for North/central India food. Tastes like home made. Simple and very delicious. They serve Thali and Khichdi. One of the best fulkas you can get in Bangalore. Very prompt service. Value for money.

"When you are tired of eating out, come home" - This is written on their menu. Unlike most places of the similar sort, the food does give a homely feeling. I have sensitive taste buds and I can identify even the slightest flavor and I could feel the difference. They served ghee and achaar with khichdi (:')), that just doubled the taste. Ginger tea was almost the same as I would make it at home. I just wish their menu had more options.

It's fantastic place with really awesome quality food at reasonable cost it's very affordable, easy on pocket for any one for now as gst is not applied yet, but I can say the food is the healthiest and really very nice with and grace they you'll never forget the food forever if you are a foodie go try the thali in om pure veg, you'll fall in love with it. Keep up the good work om resturant.

This is one of the best veg Thali restaurant in Bangalore. The food is not too spicy but still very tasty and lighter on pocket. Basically you can go here anytime and the quality will be guaranteed. I also liked paneer pakoda and sabudana kachori here.
vivek bakliwal
Perfectly living to their tag line - "when tired of eating out......... come home". Decent ambiance, nice seating arrangement. Well seats also worth a mention as they are of low height so you can enjoy folded leg seating though you are on a chair. They have a nice outer seating space also. Quite cheerful. Come to food.... awesome taste. Nice portions. I think each portion is sufficient for one's meal. Dal dhokli rocks. Thali also rocks. poha is also tasty. Phulka are awesome. Gulab Jamun, salad everything is just awesome. Service - quick and nice. No burden on pocket. Not giving 5 stars because of lesser options. Otherwise there's no way this place deserves no less.

This restaurant is one of the best I visited. They used to serve excellent vegetarian thali North Indian style. Unfortunately It is closed down. I realised today when I went for lunch <br/>

Been here based on a Collection. Ordered Thali, Sabudana Kichidi and both weren't up to the mark, in fact we left half the Kichidi inspite of hunger. Definitely this place is over-hyped.
Healtho B'lore
One of the best thali in B'lore and for such a economical price. Please do visit for traditional Indian thali and their poha is yummy. I wish you the best
Chetan Jadav
we took thali. worst quality of food. no taste & no ambience. sbji not good, daal not good. butter milk too salty. daal like water. salad is also not good.<br/>

I have visited this place with normal expectation and liked the starters platter. Then I have ordered Poha, Methi Puri & Aloo Paratha.. I liked the taste of Poha just had a Spoon,, Next spoon I discovered a cockroach.. Thats it.. YUCKK... THIS PLACE HYGIENE SUCKS... I just walked out of this crappy restaurant..

Went there after seeing all the great ratings. Sorry, it does not deserve even a single star. Had to go next door to Garmin for a descent meal.<br/><br/>And the best part? That one star food was expensive!
Jigar Patel
Very low quality food. They are not ready to listen complain about quality. I don't know how they are getting 4.2 rating. Not recommended to visit.

One of the best home food I found in last 10 years.<br/>A very good option for people who used to eat outside daily. Food will be less spicy and dal will be more diluted than normal.

best place for good indian thali. Price is economical, it is disable friendly and the food is fantastic. have been going for years now and the quality is intact.

I visit here when I’m craving for a simple meal that’s light for your tummy. You won’t notice unless you really look for it, it’s next to Gramin at Raheja Arcade. Their thali is the usual for me along with a glass of buttermilk. My friend really enjoyed the sabudana khichadi. The service is good and I prefer the upstairs seatings.
Sri Vatsa
This place is known for its simple home style north Indian food. Being a south indian I do not get to eat the typical north Indian home made food hence I enjoy their thali. Simple and wholesome. Nothing the brag about but its simple the nice. The rating 3 is because of the open kitchen kinds that they have behind and is maintained so dirty. Unless u peep in there, food is good.
Sowmya
Home to the most homely Rajasthani thali in Bangalore. This lovely place with a limited menu tucked away in a corner of Raheja Arcade in busy Koramangala, packs in my opinion a big punch. <br/><br/>Their khichi (regular and sabudana) are stellar!!<br/><br/>POST EDITED: The place is now closed. Went by to have lunch in late December 2018 and saw a board outside saying they’re now closed. <br/>Bhawana if you read this - THANK YOU. For the many many lovely meals I had the privilege of eating at your homely restaurant. Wish you the best of luck.
Sanchita Jha
Awesome food. Awesome ambience. The sabudana khichdi is out of the world. Grandma's idli is absolutely delicious. The taste of puris and parathas here give you a sweet homely feeling.<br/><br/>I am a non vegetarian but absolutely love this only veg place in Koramangla.<br/><br/>A MUST VISIT.
Saloni Singhania
I didn't like this outlet at all. It's not worthy of price and the taste is not too good. I had Poha here which costed for around 70₹ and the quantity was too less and the taste was not great.

I have visited this place twice both on a weekday for lunch. It is located in the ground floor of Raheja Arcade, right next to Gramin. On my recent visit I expected the place to be crowded but hardly 2 or 3 tables were occupied.<br/><br/>Ambience – They have seating on the ground and first floor. The seating in the ground floor is regular table and chairs but in the first floor they have cushioned lower seating with pillows to rest. There is also outdoor seating right in front of the restaurant in the ground floor. They do not open first floor until ground floor is filled. One main problem here is that once the power goes, the generator take quite sometime to kick in.<br/><br/>Service – The staff are courteous and very quick on their feet, they are always on time to refill your plate. All the dishes are served very fast.<br/><br/>Food – They don’t have an extensive menu. There are 2 or 3 items each in starter, drinks, main course and deserts. Thali seemed like the best option for me so I went for it.<br/><br/>Thali contained a sweet, raitha, salad, dal, aloo sabji , peas curry, moong dal curry, papad, chapathi and a drink.<br/><br/>Jamoon was the sweet served to us and I chose Jaljeera as my drink.<br/><br/>All the dishes were very good and just like home made.<br/><br/>Except sweet, papad and drink everything else is unlimited.<br/><br/>Chapati was oilless, thin and really soft.<br/><br/>Salad contained pieces of cucumber and tomato which was lightly salted.<br/><br/>This is the best place to eat to your heart’s content without digging a hole in your pocket!
Deedu Pipada
My only reason for not rating this place a full 5/5 is because i felt it was a little expensive than it should be. But hands down, you will never get a better taste that is exactly like food eaten at home. The staff are friendly and the thali which is unlimited is a great treat to your tummy. There is ample variety. Even the sabudana khichdi was good with a subtle sweet taste that reminds me of my time in Gujrat. Dal dhokli was average because of the dhokli's thickness. But i assure you that the thali is the best Ive had in Koramangala.
Amreesh
visited this place after hearing lot about from close relatives.. very bad experience both food quality and staff service was too bad... on top of this they served cold food... pls dont go... next door gramin is much better...

Om is my go to place for times when I want something light for the stomach. They don't have too many options, and I mostly end up going for Veg Thali, which is pretty good. Comes with unlimited Rotis and curry. Dessert is limited though :P<br/><br/>Many of my friends also fancy it's 'Dal Dhokli', which is a Rajasthani dish. Give it a try.<br/><br/>What I don't understand is why they don't serve half the stuff when you are sitting inside. Their parathas and puris and only restricted to outside serving. Which is an issue when you go in big groups and people want different things.<br/><br/>Anyway, whatever sails their boat ⛵. But yeah, good food in the end.<br/><br/>(wanted to give 3.5 but seems like Zomato doesn't do those shenanigans anymore)<br/><br/>

Wanted to try this place from a long time and I finally did . And it did not disappoint at all . The food was good . Had thali which is predominantly the only thing which you could go for in this place, as the other menu options are basically snackers. The thali is unlimited which comes with three types of veggies , one dal , papad , Chutney , sweet and a drink which is basically butter milk or any other drink of the day . The fulkas are served straight from the tawa, which makes it great . Everything tasted home made and delicious . The price although it looks a little expensive for a thali , it is justified considering it unlimited and nevertheless the home made taste . Would definitely recommend this if you wanna have some nice home made food vegetarian food

This is the nicest place I know in bangalore for veg thali and some snacks like poha , daal dhokli, sabudana khichdi etc. which is hard to find in bangalore. They serve the variety which we eat normally ( unlike grand thali places) , for all little reasons I am a big fan of this place.
Jai
Unlimited Thali meal was just routine stuff - salty dhal + salty chutney..usual rice and roti coupled with really watery version of kakdi raitha..aloo muttar and moong bhaji were average..only 2 items stood out better on the thali - gatte ki kadi and jaljeera ..tough luck with the lunch menu..overall, food was just ok
Vishwanath
Very nice place. A simple restaurant with very good food and hospitality. I’ve tried the normal thali. It’s unlimited except sweet. Along with the thali you can choose jaljeera or buttermilk

We have been to Om Pure Veg today and ordered Thali🥗, Food was awesome and unlimited✨😋, enjoyed the variety in vegitables: aloo-gobhi sabji was tasting just like homemade, Kadhi was awesome taste😋🗣.. Jaljeera was very tasty, and carrot halwa was finger licking😋, Surely would like to visit the place again🙏🏻

Located in Raheja Arcade koramangala, place is easy to find. They have two types of seating, ground floor has normal chair and table and first floor has little lower seating.<br/><br/>We ordered Thali, it wasn't that great, chutney was not well churned, curd was very watery, THERE WAS NO PANEER, gulab jamun was little hard. Dint really felt worth rs. 190.<br/><br/>Service - 5/5<br/>Ambience - 4/5<br/>Food - 2/5<br/>Value for money - 2/5<br/>Visit again? - No

As the tagline says tried of eating food outside? Come home. This place is perfect for home food. Especially for hostlers who are sick of eating outside. Thaali, poha, khichdi i liked whatever I have tried here.

Went for dinner on a fine Sunday evening. Took thali which contains daal, khofte, roti, curd, salad, pickle, aloo capsicum curry, rice, gulab jamun sweet , buttermilk .<br/>Rotis were very soft and tender.<br/>Overall good experience. Recommend for veg homely food lovers.
Akhilesh Kumar
Landed here with a foodie friend on a Saturday evening for dinner.<br/>We opted for their thali which consisted of Butter milk, Salad, Papad,  Rice, Toor Daal, Veg Kofta, Moong Daal, Aaloo Capsicum along with soft, hot homely phulkas.<br/><br/>Overall food was quite homely  and tasty. Location is just adjacent to Gramin in Raheja Arcade.<br/><br/>However on the  actual cost of thali is 190 which need to be revised on zomato.
Jayati Deshmukh
Went back to this place after a long time. Ordered the thali and it was like the 'ghar ka khana'! My favourite from the thali was gatte wali kadhi and aloo gobhi matar tamatar sabji. The phulkas were thin and soft and smeared with ghee. Jaljeera was cool and tangy!
Jas
If you are someone who is looking for simple homemade kidda food then must visit... <br/><br/>We ordered <br/>Khichadi Raita: they serve khichdi with ghee 😋 Rice dal khichdi was delicious exactly like made at home. <br/>But Raita was more like buttermilk, they can improve this.<br/>Sabudana khichdi: Again quite delicious as like home <br/><br/>Must visit
Vikasjain
Visited this place just by seeing the reviews on zomato. Dissapointed. The quality of food is very bad. They charged 200 rupees for one thali which is not at all worth it. The taste of food is also very bad.

Great place to have North Indian Thalis!<br/>#north #Indian #thali #food #nomnom #foodie #om #restaurant #Bangalore #tagsforlikes #picofday #foodporn

Very under-rated place. They serve amazing veg food that tastes like home cooked food at very reasonable prices. Dal dhokli is my usual lunch and is great.

Perfect place on a rainy evening to catch up with a friend after months<br/>Simple home made tasty healthy food at pocket friendly prices and a nice clean no fringes kind of place <br/>We had their unlimited thali simple fare but do yummy the rotis were paper thin and one can eat a couple of them in no time with rajma curry palak vegetable and a Kadi with rice papad pickle and yummy gulab Jamun and jsl Jeera <br/>Their kitchdi and sabu dana vadas must not be missed<br/>Was so busy chatting away forgot to click snaps unfortunately
Amitabh Mendiratta
If you are missing North Indian home food, this is certainly the place to eat. Excellent pakoras, daal dhokli , khicdi and thali. 1 star less for the slow and choppy service which is well worth the food though.

Just love this place. Right behind my office and best lunch place to visit. Food quality is excellent. Professional staff. I just love it.😋<br/><br/>

This is my go to place for Sundays when my cook doesn't come or I dont have anything else on my mind. The food is very homely and I love their thalis most of the time. Also to mention that their Dal Dhokli, Poha Sev and Grandma's idly make a great breakfast item. A really good place and doesn't bite the wallet.
Deepika Gupta
Food is very good and tastes like homemade food. Quite affordable......... All the items in thali are awesome. Sabudana pakoda is tasty..................

Must visit vegetarian place for food in Bangalore. Their thali is very good. Place is near forum mall in Kormangala. I would suggest it as the best place with value for money.

Very often I visit this restaurant.<br/>They server very good homemade thali.. every dish is delicious in your thali...<br/><br/>Daal, 2 sabji , kadi, rayata, papad, chutni, phulka, rice, sweet, jaljeera , buttermilk... Everthing unlimited...<br/><br/>There thali taste better than Rajdhani... <br/><br/>All the food is without onion n garlic.<br/><br/>They also have besan chilla, sabudana vada. <br/><br/>Must must visit place.. <br/><br/>Food / sevice/ ambience ----4.5 top class<br/><br/>Very pocket friendly..
Maitraiye Sharma
If you miss home, this is the place for you. I love their yellow Dal khichadi, saboodana khichadi, saboodana Vada, the unlimited thaali & even their beverages.
Arjun Chauhan
For me it was quite good experience. I am non vegetarian barely satisfied with veg restaurants.<br/><br/>I found it good to have quality veg food. As name mentioned OM PURE VEG, its’s really better place for people who are really seeking for pure veg food.<br/><br/>I don’t have much anything negative to mention. <br/><br/>I visited with friends but suggest to visit with family too ,they gonna love it.
Swati Varma
If you wish to have a simple light North Indian meal, try the place. They have a limited items on their list. We tried the thali, chila and dal khichdi with shikanji. Thali was full of fresh food and u can get a bowl full of ghee if you ask along. Chilla was good but I had better at Kota kachori. Khichdi was not upto the mark at all.<br/>Wanted to try the sabudana wada which was over by that time. Will try next time
Nirraj51
The restaurant is situated on the ground floor in Raheja arcade Kormangala. It serves decent homely- I mean really homely food in Thalia. No frills nothing fancy. Ambience was fine. Again nothing fancy. But a good place to grab homely lunch. Costs about 180/- per thali.
ShettyGal
It's a tummy place for Sabodana lovers😍They serve Sabodana kichadi ,which makes you forget any of your favorite food...They have a platter of starters of Sabodana vada, aloo vada and Mirchi and paneer served 3 of each which is adequate for even 6 people.. there Thalis are the best part, clearly if you want a Desi home food do visit this peaceful and beautiful place..
Lakshmi2410
Been here quite long back. <br/>Always ordered a thali. <br/>Love the food here. Simple, home made like food with good taste. I prefer less spicy food and I love it here. Ambience is good with good music playing, service is also good.
Sanmay Goyal
I went to this place today around 7.00 P.M alone. The place has peaceful ambiance and is perfect to sit alone or to have a good conversation. A beautiful karaoke music was playing and I ordered a tea to start with. I then ordered a paneer pakoda and poha. The taste of both the items was amazing and homely. The place really made my evening. A must visit place for a Vegetarian.
Guru Prasanna
Bad ambience! We could see the dirty walls outside the restaurant. Table fans don't even oscillate. Service is bad. It took me twenty minutes to get the waiter to give me water. Thali was not good enough for the price. To top it off, they did not accept card payment. Was not a satisfying experience.
Hareendra MV
Amazing place with tasty unlimited thali which leave you 'WAOW' , the beverage served with he thali is mind-blowing . The song selections are mind soothing . This place feels like home .
Sajjad Hussaini
Worst out of my nightmare never ever gonna look at this place again in my life. The most pathetic disgusting and no people around except waiters. There was not even a single Customer when we visited. About the food, Daal was so diluted like water hot boiled and sabji were tasteless.<br/><br/>Please think 100 times before visiting this place.
Agnes Stone
This restaurant Is only good for snack items like Poha, sabudhana khichidi etc... Most of them are like Marathi dishes ... But the thali is below average... Especially the curries.... Gravy ones are full of water...
Karan Sharma
We were 4 people and because of this we had to sit in a non Ac corner near the sink area. No one was attending properly. Waiters are rude. Food was bland. Please avoid
Shobha Rao
Food not at all good taste, its just for some one who is very hungry and very eager to fill there stomach with any food w/o taste than can go & have it...if any group planning to lunch or dinner than finding to have here is a very bad idea......and the service is like you need to wait to have some extra rice ...to get served....except meals nothing extra u can  afford like some variety dishes....i can prepare better than this really waste of money.
Rahul Gupta
This is the place you want to eat when you're tired having outside food, no kidding it's like your mom made the food, absolute home food, if you're coming with an expectation of spicy and gluttony tastes you'd go back disappointed, I'm a regular here and love the simple food, it's super pocket friendly too, staff is very nice. In case you're looking for extremely tasty outside food, there's a place Gramin just next door that's another favorite of mine, but not your everyday food :)
Vaishnavy Pervaje
Absolutely love this place as I am a lover of simple north Indian food. The food here is homely , healthy and simple unlike the other normal north Indian restaurants out there. Minimal amount of oil used in the sabzis and palyas. Pulkhas are as soft as they could possibly get. The caption on there board reads " When you are tired of eating out- come home" which seemed to justify the food served here. However, this place might not be liked by people who prefer spicy, masaledaar food. Most of the curries served do not even have onion or garlic used in them.Nevertheless, totally my type of food. Ambience is pretty small and sometimes we might have to wait to get our turn to eat.
Amanpreet Kaur
Simple food.. Nice to eat.. Ordered thali where dal nd kadhi was nt thick, it was more on watery side.. Gajar halwa was nt cooked properly..<br/><br/>But still as it says simple food.. Good to go.. <br/><br/>Nyc ambiance... Nd food.. Good nd inexpensive..
Rohan Sharma
Most homely north Indian food in the town. Clean, not so spicy, no artificial colors, as satvik as it gets. Good instrumental music. And damn, no place is inexpensive as Om. I eat here every single day, every single day!
Vinay Amdhare
Unfortunately This place is closed :(<br/>Among The best places in whole Bangalore.<br/><br/>It's the place in koramangala of you want to have authentic North Indian come home made kind of food. The taste appeals to most people! You will find something ur the other that you ll like!<br/>Not known much but MOTHER'S IDLI is great here!<br/>Dal dhokli and poha sev and sabudana khichdi is great!!!!!!<br/>Thali is good too and signature item here.
Pramod Srini
Very homely food with the right amount of oil and spice ; lots of vegetables ) .(in my terms commercial food would be with lots of spice ,oil with just a trace of vegetables).<br/>This place is a must for health conscious people and a treat for those with a sensitive tummy.<br/>Ambience is great . The instrumental music in the background was transcendental !<br/>Great service .<br/>I have a sensitive tummy and it was a treat for me .<br/>I have been here twice and would love to visit again.<br/>I placed my mobile in the hotel and forgot to take it back with me .employee of om ran after me into the streets to hand my mobile back. Would surely visit again where healthy food is served by Honest men.
Arijit Ghosh
Don't see what the fuss about this place is. Ordered a couple of thalis, which was umm.....very ordinary tasting. Have eaten better with Rs. 80. Service was good, but staff was a biiiiiit rude. I am a college student and was eating there with my friend and apparently there was a queue outside, so they the waiters told us to hurry up even though there were other families and bachelors seated there. Not a good experience when you are told to hurry up while having a meal! Oh, and we were just seated there for maybe 30 minutes, not enough time to relish an unlimited thali!
Avinashjms15
This is as good as ghar ka khana....what a wonderful delicious meal...such light gravies but yet super in taste. This restaurant is a delight for people who are missing proper ghar ka khana...great desserts...drinks and good quantity of food served...though it is unlimited thali @180...Ambience needs to be worked upon...
Yogesh Chouk
If you are interested in having some homely food, try this. Thali is the only thing which I think is good here. Slightly costlier for the food they serve but I liked the sitting arrangement which was quite different.
Arijit Mukherjee
Amazing Homely Food!! Every food item is worth trying. Very economical. The service is very fast. Must visit place in Bangalore! Try the Thali over here.
Petu Shilps
Any restaurant that has survived more than 5 yrs deserves respect.I was working close to this place eons ago and remembered it being good. Based on recent zomato reviews, i recommended to some friends. Unfortunately, the food is totally overrated. Bland and tasteless thali, rice has soda that one can taste witjin first bite, one curry n dal refilled often with dry rotis. <br/>Nothing like home made taste. At that moment, rs180 felt overpriced. You get better food for half price in Sree thali n other messes in 5th block. Rather eat home! The child with us ate paneer pakados because we did not want to feed bad thali. Bad experience. Don't understand the queues outside for this place.
Vaishnavi Mv
My mom's personal favorite! I love the ambience, the food is great, people are very sweet. We visit this place almost every 3rd Sunday 😄👍👌

I usually prefer non vegetarian food when I eat out. However, being a festive day we were looking for a place that offers no onion no garlic options. Remembered this place which we had visited some 6 years back. Hence thought of going back to Om. Must say it was a great decision. Yummy homely food. Thali was sumptuous. Highlights were Kadhi pakoda, aloo-sem ki sabji and of course, phulke. The price at which it comes is also very reasonable. On top of it when the bill arrived I was surprised to find that for my 12 year old daughter they had charged for mini Thali. There was nothing mini about the Thali but I guess that's a huge goodwill the restaurant earns by doing that without us asking. I was taken by surprise. <br/>We loved every bit of it. Highly recommended for all vegetarians and even for non vegetarians who may want to try some good vegetarian food.
Amarnath Bagineni
Nice dinner .. peaceful place .. I like the music .. decent food .. very affordable price ... Good for dinner and lunches now and then .. when you don't cook at home
Soumik Roy
This is a budget place to be.. Theres not much fanfare about the place... Its rather simple only... But the food is good... Staff is helpful and delivery is quick
Vinod
Been here couple of times. Basically pure veg which i love n Thali is awesome.. I love the salad with green chtney n subzies..now This have become my regular weekend lunch pad <br/>😁
Shubhra Dixit
It may have good food, but it has stubborn and seemingly unintelligent staff who expect customers to listen to their Raam Kahaani of why thali and other items on the menu cannot be served to the same table. Same kitchen, same management but different serving rules for outdoor and indoor.<br/><br/>When asked to speak to a manager/owner, we're told s/he won't come to you. You have to go to him/her. Upon much insistence, the lady comes only to say, Thalis are halfway eaten by the time other items arrive, hence we don't serve both in one seating area. But when we ordered two separate non-thali items, one arrived so late that the previous was nearly over. Lack of logic, much?<br/><br/>
Parnika Mishra
Awesome poha. Served with sev and lemon. Didn't get a chance to try anything else. Will visit again for sure. Rating solely based on the poha.
Varun CN
I have visited this restaurant for n number of times. The best part of the restaurant is reasonably accessible location and good ambience. The Thali is the best. Unlimited and served hot. Must visit with family
Amit Verma
Truely a taste of home... Punch line justifies it, 'Visit us when you are tired of eating outside...' a homely taste... Just a glitch of inside and outside seating menu.
Ashish B
**Your parents are going to hate this place**<br/><br/>"When you are tired of eating outside, come home". This is the tag line of this place. Now tell me, who makes Daal at home which contains only water and zero actual Daal piece ?? No one!! But this place does. My mother shouted at the look of this Daal.<br/><br/>Second veggie in Thaali was the  White Chana.  Tasted to so bad, I didn't bothered tasting it second time. <br/><br/>Other two dishes were Potato curry and Dry Cauliflower. In short, the cheapest vegetable in market are on the offer. No Paneer dish even when they are charging above average high 180Rs.<br/><br/>And their servers were so reluctant to serve veggies as if I am eating for free. Places like these should have agile and quick server so that no table is ever waiting for refill. But here you have to wait for 5 minutes to get refill or chapati/rice. Just kills the mood and hunger.<br/><br/>I should have stuck with good old Anand and Gramin in Koramangala rather than trying this new place. Got a good scolding from parents for making them also try this while they wanted to have Anand's Thali.<br/><br/>I hope people start giving some true reviews about this place and zomato rating start reflecting how bad this place actually is.

A good place to have a homely lunch. Located in Raheja Arcade, this place is easy to find.<br/><br/>The interiors were decent and the staff were courteous. There were a few house flies in the restaurant which is not acceptable.<br/><br/>I had their Thali (₹180 inclusive of taxes), which is an unlimited fare with a few restrictions though (sweets , butter milk and papad are served only once).<br/><br/>The thali had 2 subzi, 2 dals ,raita ,papad, green chutney, phulka(chapati) and rice.<br/>The phulka was the star of the show they were very soft. They serve 2 phulka at a time and they repeat it until u ask for rice.<br/>One subzi was very good and other was average.<br/>One dal was good and the other was average.<br/>The raita was less than palatable.<br/>The butter milk was amazing , so was gulab jamun.<br/>Over all a decent place to have lunch, and if you wanna have homely phulkas.<br/><br/>Taste 3.5<br/>Location 5.0<br/>Amiance 3.0<br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/>

Such a cozy place. The upper floor is very cleverly designed to optimise the space. The seating arrangement there offers a different experience, making it memorable. Although it could get a bit uncomfortable for someone with a tall built. <br/><br/>If you are around and want to grab a quick breakfast or lunch, this is an economical option. I had Daal Dhokli and Idly here, which were both well made. <br/><br/>The staff make you feel comfortable, and would also help you understand a dish if you are trying something for the first time. Overall, I had a pleasant experience.

This is a cozy restaurant & the food served here is like home cooked food. Simple yet very delicious. Great service with a smile on the face of every staff serving you. The phulkas are the best I have had ever. The thali is fulfilling, complete & wholesome with fresh salad, chutney, 2 vegetable gravies, dry subzi, dal, delicately flavoured raita, papad, sweet & a glass of buttermilk/jaljeera. Rice & phulkas are served till the very end until you are full. They ensure you don't leave hungry. Though there is limited choice every dish is delicious & prepared with a lot of love. The ambience is perfect as the lady who runs this place has comics & books for kids to keep them busy & the light Bollywood karaoke is very pleasant allowing you to hold conversations without having to shout.

We had thali here. It was simple yet tasty. The staff is patient and the environment is clean. The thali has 2 bhajis, dal, curd, raita and lassi

Went for the first time(31/12/16 for lunch) without any expectations , by just reading the older reviews posted by other people.  Really liked the thali meal, My kids also enjoyed the meal. All the items were very tasty and little bit less spicy, so kids enjoyed that. Ambiance was really nice. Overall definitely a worth trying  restaurant for Veggie lovers.  Jaljeera was awesome.

I've been to Om 2-3 times, and this review is based on certain consistent things I noticed. <br/>I had thali(meals) every time I went here. Most of the food items taste like home made. You can always eat more than you would've thought when hot and soft phulkas are served. Their dal is almost like water. Though I don't like thick dal myself, but here the chef goes little too far. The staff isn't polite either. For people craving to have unlimited thali, one can try Shree Shyam thali nearby(though it's little messy).<br/>Food - 3.5<br/>Ambience - 3<br/>Service - 2.5

This place is a gem for someone who is craving for homely north indian food, absolutely amazing. Although I didn't have their Thali, instead tried my luck in the cafe which is just outside the restaurant, serving a completely different menu, it outdid the expectations. Khichdi with raita and ghee is absolutely amazing, plain, tasty, as good as it can get. Assorted parathas and aloo ki sabzi was so so tasty, and the parathas were cooked really well. The grandma's idli just stole the show, very soft baby idlis dipped in scrumptious north indian style sambhar, it just can't get better. Overall it was 'out of the world' food. If you want homely food away from home, you come here, period. <br/><br/>Food - 5/5<br/>Service - 5/5<br/>Ambience - 4/5<br/>VFM - 5/5

"OM" just delivered it. I have been to this place with my wife for a couple of times earlier and all we liked is simple tasty home food with an easy menu to choose. Talking about the location its very well located close to kormangala forum mall and the ambience is simply magical with soul soothing music of your favorite hits, mind you its pure instrumental to elevate your dining experience.<br/><br/>Taste food like you do at home,<br/>Right here, @ OM!<br/>Menu is simple, order your chews,<br/>Eat and satisfy stomach as you choose!!<br/><br/>If you are tired of restuarants, go to OM, no other thoughts!!<br/><br/>- kris yoga

Not so poor or not so great. Just thali @180rs all inclusive. Unlimited rotis are served. Around 2 subjis, a sweet, a salad, butter milk, rice, dal will be served. Absolutely home cooked food. Just next to Gramin. Suitable for working men and women, bachelors......not much varieties.

Superb Veg Thali! A salute to the owner! Om Pure Veg is a hidden gem! Absolutely delicious home made food with lots of variety. This restaurant is located in Raheja Arcade and it's a must-visit restaurant, if you are a North Indian with good appetite and looking out for home made vegetarian food. The restaurant brings the goodness of your home in Bangalore. They don't have overwhelming number of items in their thali like Rajdhani but they have some sensible options that are tasty and you can enjoy. Food quality is very good and I felt like I am eating at my home. It reminded me of my mom's and wife's good food that they prepare at home. You can eat as much as you can, as it's an unlimited thali. This is one of the best vegetarian thalis that I ate off late.<br/>The service is really quick and the staff behavior is also good. I came to know that the owner is from Rajasthan. Maybe, that's the reason they serve authentic home made food. Overall, a very good restaurant for vegetarians. Divya Devanshu

I dunno why there aren't queues outside this place! This place serves veg thalis so yum that it will remind you of North Indian home food. With the subtle flavor of ghee in the dishes, you always feel light even after devouring unlimited phulke. It's a must visit for anyone craving for North Indian home food. It's a bit hidden even though it's in raheja arcade but the search is worth the taste.

If you are a north India and hungry for a proper meal, this place is one of the safest bets. They serve thali which do not have overwhelming number of dishes like in Rajdhani, etc. but an appropriate number of dishes which are tasty and healthy. Its like a home made food just more tastier. Restaurant is present in the heart of Koramangla, only 50 meters from Forum Mall. Ambience is decent and service is swift.

If you don't stay with family and missing taste of home made food, then this is the best restaurant in Koramangala. I am a frequent visitor there. Their Poha sev and Daal Dhokli are must try items.

By far the most amazing thali restaurant I've been to. Ambience was amazing. Loved the setup. The service was great as well. Thali was good & filling though the taste could've been better. But it was totally worth the money. They also provide side drinks like Buttermilk, Jaljeera etc.

This is a long time pending review. I have been visiting this place for the last 4 years and I must say the thali is so good that I can have daily. The dishes are simple and light on your stomach that it reminds of home.

Amazing spread... Closest to home cooked meal...<br/><br/>The sabudana Khichdi and their Buttermilk is worth a try.<br/>Go-to for home away from home ambiance and food served with little love.

This little place in Koramangala is everything you want for those unfussy days where a simple meal is what you're after. Definitely recommend this place!
