This restaurant is one of the best I visited. They used to serve excellent vegetarian thali North Indian style. Unfortunately It is closed down. I realised today when I went for lunch
One of the best thali in B'lore and for such a economical price. Please do visit for traditional Indian thali and their poha is yummy. I wish you the best
Review along with another foodies friend of mine Neha Kukreja
A small but lovely place for all the snacks that you'll love and must be missing at home if you are living a bachelor life like me.
They have many options n combinations like poha pakoda, sabudana pakoda, cutlets, dal bati and many more.
You can have it almost all day long and the quality of food we tasted was really good and service was quick enough to make our taste bud wait patiently.
Must Try for people who miss home made snacks.

One of the best home food I found in last 10 years.
A very good option for people who used to eat outside daily. Food will be less spicy and dal will be more diluted than normal.

best place for good indian thali. Price is economical, it is disable friendly and the food is fantastic. have been going for years now and the quality is intact.
I visit here when I’m craving for a simple meal that’s light for your tummy. You won’t notice unless you really look for it, it’s next to Gramin at Raheja Arcade. Their thali is the usual for me along with a glass of buttermilk. My friend really enjoyed the sabudana khichadi. The service is good and I prefer the upstairs seatings.
Home to the most homely Rajasthani thali in Bangalore. This lovely place with a limited menu tucked away in a corner of Raheja Arcade in busy Koramangala, packs in my opinion a big punch.
Their khichi (regular and sabudana) are stellar!!
POST EDITED: The place is now closed. Went by to have lunch in late December 2018 and saw a board outside saying they’re now closed.
Bhawana if you read this - THANK YOU. For the many many lovely meals I had the privilege of eating at your homely restaurant. Wish you the best of luck.
Awesome food. Awesome ambience. The sabudana khichdi is out of the world. Grandma's idli is absolutely delicious. The taste of puris and parathas here give you a sweet homely feeling.
I am a non vegetarian but absolutely love this only veg place in Koramangla.
A MUST VISIT.
I have visited this place twice both on a weekday for lunch. It is located in the ground floor of Raheja Arcade, right next to Gramin. On my recent visit I expected the place to be crowded but hardly 2 or 3 tables were occupied.
Ambience – They have seating on the ground and first floor. The seating in the ground floor is regular table and chairs but in the first floor they have cushioned lower seating with pillows to rest. There is also outdoor seating right in front of the restaurant in the ground floor. They do not open first floor until ground floor is filled. One main problem here is that once the power goes, the generator take quite sometime to kick in.
Service – The staff are courteous and very quick on their feet, they are always on time to refill your plate. All the dishes are served very fast.
Food – They don’t have an extensive menu. There are 2 or 3 items each in starter, drinks, main course and deserts. Thali seemed like the best option for me so I went for it.
Thali contained a sweet, raitha, salad, dal, aloo sabji , peas curry, moong dal curry, papad, chapathi and a drink.
Jamoon was the sweet served to us and I chose Jaljeera as my drink.
All the dishes were very good and just like home made.
Except sweet, papad and drink everything else is unlimited.
Chapati was oilless, thin and really soft.
Salad contained pieces of cucumber and tomato which was lightly salted.
This is the best place to eat to your heart’s content without digging a hole in your pocket!
Simple, homely food. Sabudana khichdi was simple and tasted exactly homemade. Idli was fluffy and sambhar was full of veggies which I liked most. Pohe ke cutlet was my favourite, it was served with a tasty green chutney which again tasted as if homemade. Will definitely recommend this place to people who want to eat simple, everyday home food.
Nice and homely food, love their thali and khichdi. Pleasant and friendly staff. Not too expensive for awesome food.
A little cozy place to go and spend time with loved ones. We had the buffet thali there which was quite affordable and good. The food reminded of home made food. Simple and tasty!
Grandma s idli is full of vegetables and flavours. It's highly recommended. Plus the free library where you can pick a book and also leave your old books to share with the world. Lovely concept.
Amazing food ..feel like home food and the staff served really well ...
Food is delicious and if you really want to have simple homemade food taste, then its best place to be. The menu they have is not with long list so don't expect a lot of options, however seems this is how they are ensuring they give you fresh homemade type food. Its not easily visible from main road, its inside plaza, so be careful. For parking you can go in the back of this building and they have secured/ reserved parking for plaza, or else of course you can park (2 wheeler) on side road near Harry's Bar and cafe.
This place has awesome home-like food, with very little extras. They play light bollywood instrumental music and the waiters and restaurant manager always greet you with a pleasing smile. The prices are moderate. I really recommend their Thali - they take only a couple of minutes from ordering to serving, and it's delicious!
This food is closest to the home-made food. They have a fixed thali menu, where you can have almost unlimited food in fixed price.
This will always overfill your stomach. The staff is very nice and gentle.
This place is best to go for lunch as the food would be too much for dinner.
It's soul food which makes you feel happy not only stomach wise but also heart wise. I feel content after having there Thalia. Affordable and still awesome taste wise.
I love to come to this often and have a heart full meal
Highly recommended for North/central India food. Tastes like home made. Simple and very delicious. They serve Thali and Khichdi. One of the best fulkas you can get in Bangalore.
Very prompt service. Value for money.
