Wanna have a tasty breakfast?!And Affordable?!! So here's kaPi katte..where hygiene is given highest preference.. But the catch is, if you are a sambar person this is not recommended for you...bcz only chutney is provided...

Very good food at reasonable prices.... Must try is their iconic idli vada and chutney. Watery and spicy chutney served with soft vadas and steaming hot idlis.... Their ghee masala dosa is also very very good which is served with gatti (thick) chutney. Overall a must try place for South Indian affordable food. And ofcourse don't miss the filter coffee!

Decent place for hot beverages and evening snacks. The prices are reasonable, service is pretty fast. Two wheeler parking available nearby, four wheeler parking is difficult. Fast moving crowd, seating available inside.

Kaapi Katte is located in BEML main road RR Nagar is an amazing place. Food taste is excellent, maintained well clean and hygienic. This is one of the very few restaurants in Bangalore that is providing all food items at a very reasonable price. Coffe taste is excellent. A must try eatery in RR Nagar region Recommended.

This has now topped one of my favourite go to places for Idli & Vada! ❤️😍 Oh man the chutney! Absolutely delicious. This will definitely 🔝 on the best Chutneys in Bengaluru. Chutney here can compete with the likes of Taza Thindi, and they are super tasty. Right amounts of spice, coconut, chillies, there’s a lot of balance here. I really loved it. Even the Idlis are super soft and super tasty! Vadas are good but are very small. I just feel they should improve the size of it. We actually rode from Kanakapura Road all the way just to try these. Coffee is just alright nothing too special, could’ve been better. Service is super quick, they have 3 payment counters and a huge team inside for serving and packaging for takeaways. Seating inside is limited, 75% standing and 25% sitting.

They serve variety of Thindi (Food) like Idli, Vada, Khara Bath, Kesari Bath, Sabbaki Idli, Ghee Masala Dose, Masala Dose, Rava Idly. Apart from regular tiffin they have Today’s Special Menu also. Different hot and cold beverages are served here. Variety of Snacks such s Peanut Bun butter, Nippat Bun Butter are served here. There are tables where you can have food. It’s usually busy during evening. They accept all cards, UPI and Cash for payment.

As my family was out of town, me and my best friend thought of trying few dishes at Kaphi Katte. They serve breakfast dishes and they do have a special menu everyday which keeps changing. We were not that lucky to taste any of them. The time by which we reached here was almost 09:00pm,we had only Idli Vada Kesaribath and Dosa options for the menu. We order Idli chutney and Medu-Vada Chutney with Kesaribath. Idli was hot n moist and soft to go best with the chutney, Medu Vada was fried perfect to have it's crispy crunchy feel while taking a bite with the tasty coconut green chutney. We loved the Kesaribath the most, it was very authentic relating to the Pooja Prasada given by the Priest. It's was very tasty white in colour and had pieces of cut pineapple making it more mouth watering. They have only few spots for seating and relishing the food. They have tables where we have to have to the standing still most Loved spot of Rajarajeshwari Nagar for breakfast and it's Filter coffee. The road ahead of this hotel is under construction, you might need to take deviations. It lacks wheelchair access as one has to climb about 10-15 steps to get to the hotel floor. For coffee lovers hardly one step is needed to cross. Happy eating....!!!!

A famous place for tiffin and hot beverages in RR Nagar which has been there from years and has maintained quality. White topping work on the road has made the place a bit less easily accessible, but could enjoy my food and hot chocolate peacefully without the usual crowd 😄

Food is very good n fresh Service from kitchen staff is very good where as at the bill counter only cash u have to pay, if no change in hand next customer is served. Its not on first come first serve discipline. Uddina vade n dosey is very good. Coffe n coffee service ia good.

They fill the streets with the amazing aroma of sambar and coffee early in the morning.<br/><br/>But not all darshinis do justice to the flavour. They sure provide fresh breakfast and are all crowded but very few of them actually stand out.<br/><br/>Kappi Katte is one such run-of-the-mill darshini. The menu consists of staple items like idli,dosa, rava idli, bisibele bhath,chow chow bhath,etc. But the taste doesnt really stand out. <br/>The first shock came when i got to know they do not serve sambar. Its only chutney. Thats a bummer.<br/><br/>The taste also is not that great. The rava idli is also not that great. Bisibele Bhath is also very spicy. All in all ,an average experience.

Used to visit this place a lot of times during my college days because of its tasty food and economical as well. I really miss going there. Idly vada masala dosa and coffee were my constants. They can improve with their seating.

One word. Overrated. Clearly, the crowd is not justified; herding, I guess. The dose was below average – tasteless, the masala was bland, barely any aloo palya (potato stuffing) inside, not even roasted well. Very disappointing that a "darshini" can't get their dose right. Coffee was mediocre and the tea was full of water. The only positive is the pricing, but what's the point of a ₹20 dose, if it doesn't even taste good? I'm sure people won't mind paying ₹5 or ₹10 more for it, at least I won't, if only it was any better. My Sunday morning breakfast was wasted. Not coming back, not recommending this place.

I visit this place very often after playing cricket on weekends.. it is heavily crowded.. the place needs to be applauded for the way they are organized.. you will find a lot of staffs doing their job perfectly.. the only place we may find little irritated is the wash basin area which is always crowded and the drinking water also is next to that.. so people have to wait at times.. also you will observe that one cleaning staff will always be using one of the wash basins, which makes us wait.. let's get to the dishes now.. I just love the idly here.. it is perfect.. coffee tastes the best here.. dosa is average.. I haven't tried many other items.. a special mention to the price, it is very low.. overall a great place..

This is one of the most crowded place in rr Nagar. This come as a savior when ur broke and when your hungry. The quality and the quantity of the food is undoubtedly worth for the pricing you pay here. The must try among the menu is ragi dosa, cheese corn dosa, chocolate coffee, and masala dosa. And this is self service restaurant and a with a little seating arrangement which is manageable.

An amazing breakfast place. It doesn't get too crowded even when you reach there at around 8. The food cooked is in a really hygienic condition and if you doubt the hygiene, they have an open preparation space. It ensure absolute transparency if you have any suspicion. This is an awesome place with varieties of dishes. Too crowded as obviously there are really authentic varieties of food that taste really good. Idly vada, dosa are good. We had pulihogare and sprout dose which were good. Pulihogare gets 3/5 and sprout dose gets 4/5. Yet to taste other varieties as well.

Best south Indian breakfast spot in RR nagar and one of the best in Bangalore.....the coffee here is jus to die for! The food is consistently tasty n fresh, vry reasonably priced.The perfect breakfast Adda!!!....beware though a lot of kappi katte look alike restaurants have cropped up here n der in RR nagar which are not half as gud as kappi katte👌

This is my all time adda in R.R Nagar. You get the best coffee and breakfast. Very good taste of food with very less price is something that needs to be appreciated. Have tried masala dosa, Idly, vada, paneer dosa, cold coffee and filter coffee. They have an open kitchen and the place is maintained clean. This place is always crowded from the time it is opened till it is closed but the service is pretty fast. Will visit this place again and again and again.

One of the best snack spots in Rajarajeshwari nagar. A tea time destination for me and my best friend. They serve very nice idli and dosas at the cheapest price. Also have daily changing menu and the paneer dosa under this menu was yumm.<br/>The ambience is good. They have transparent kitchen and well maintained utensil cleaning mechanism. Overall, a well planned and economical place👍

This is a place with cheap in price, best in taste, idle, Vada served with chutney, masala dosa was crispy, coffee was medium in the strength of the brew, ambience was simple

Reasonably priced. Breakfast is their time to shine. The dosas are very tasty but their chutney knocks it out of the park for me 👍👍👍 not too generous with the bhaaji in the masala dosas. Idlis are good too but too flat.. I mean idlis are supposed to be fluffy n well risen..<br/><br/>Their billing and parcel sections are a mess.. though they're making an honest attempt to issue ppl token numbers on their bills.. which most ppl don't know and so there's a mad rush at the parcel section <br/><br/>Their coffee is strong and has character 👍👍👍

The dosa tastes very good but they should really start giving sambhar. There should be a seating area. E-wallets should be accepted, not just cash. The food is good but organisation and ambience can be improved.

From a small shop to big place, Kaapi Katte still has the best South Indian food in the area. It's located in the main street in RRNagar - The same road as the complex. <br/><br/>The food is super affordable and yum at the same time! <br/>I had coffee, cold coffee and masala dosa there. All of it was delicious and filling. <br/><br/>The staffs are quick to serve us though the amount of people who visit this place is countless! There's parking for two wheelers all around that place. It's open early in the morning as well! It's a must try place!

Kaapi katte is one of the most crowded food/coffee outlets in have seen. Although they face huge crowds they really manage well to serve each and every one on time. Idli vada and masala dosa are the most ordered stuff here.Would have been nice if they started serving Sambhar as well with the chutney.To add to this, Badam Milk can be tried here as well.This combination makes up for whole day of energy. They constantly clean everything there such that it's spotless. <br/><br/>I have tasted almost everything that's on the menu. The neer dose and masala dose are my favourite.<br/><br/>Other dishes like kharabath, kesari bath, vada and Bonda are not bad at all 😀<br/><br/>The place might get a little over crowded on Sunday mornings!
