During the lock down, one of the most missed out thing has been Andhra food.
Now that life is slowly returning to normal, we decided to try out take away meals.
Initially I tried to call over phone to place the order and then the plan was to go and pickup.
But 2 phones were ringing and one was engaged, so I decided to go there myself.
The place is not very far from where I live.
When I reached there were many delivery persons waiting for their parcel to come and the man behind the counter was busy as well.
I thought of ordering 2 meals thinking we are 3 adults, but the person behind the counter said that one is enough for 3, so I went by his suggestion.
It was indeed enough for 3 of us. Rasam,Sambar,Dal,Curry all tested superb. They also had included ghee, fried chilly, pickle, chutney all in separate plastic boxes.
We really had great Sunday afternoon meals! Highly recommend if you love Andhra Meals at Nagarjuna, you will be equally delighted by their take away option.

Authentic taste and large portions will satisfy your needs, if u want to try Andhra style food I must say try here. The place you will recommend your family and friends with no regrets!
After the hype about Nagarjuna, we visited the place and here's what we ordered Mutton Biriyani, Chicken 65 and Non-veg Meals. I must say the was a huge line to enter but the food was quite worth the experience. The biriyanis were good and chicken 65 was succulent and juicy then the meals was great, but the pricing was a little over the taste of the food but overall experience was great, great food and great service.
Your Andra chilli chicken is the very best ..
After hearing heaps of praises from my friends for Nagarjuna, I added this place to my bookmark list. So, one weekend I decided to try this out, along with my family. Situated at Bannerghatta Road, opposite to Brand Factory and above KFC/Tanishq showroom, it’s easy to spot this restaurant.
The ambience of the place is good and they have a huge seating space. There is also a separate area for AC seating, which if want, you could opt for. It being known for its Andhra delicacies, you would notice they use Banana leaves instead of plates, which is too cool. From the moment you sit to order, you would get those feels :)
Here’s what we ordered. Chicken Nagarjuna Roast, Prawn Pepper Fry, Chicken Fry, Chicken Nagarjuna Gravy & Chicken Biryani along with some Tandoori Rotis and Buttermilk.
Chicken Nagarjuna Roast: This starter was damn good! Chicken is ghee roasted along with some spices and curry leaves. The only non-spicy dish among the whole meal and it was the best. Recommended.
Prawn Pepper Fry: Prawns cooked in black pepper sauce. If you are a prawn lover, then you’ll like this dish. The black pepper sauce tasted too good with prawns and it's smokiness will get to your palette.
Chicken Fry: Andhra style chicken starter which was semi-dry and spicy. Much similar to Bhuna Murgh but instead, Andhra spices were used.
Chicken Nagarjuna Gravy: This coriander flavoured Chicken gravy is a must have here. Best to eat, along with some Tandoori Rotis.
Chicken Biryani: Generally, in South India you get biryanis which are way too spicy and less in flavour (my opinion). Being a Lucknawi, I’ve been a Biryani lover all my life. I ordered the Chicken Biryani here to have a taste and hoped it to be different from what I’ve had in Bangalore & Mumbai till date. Honestly, I was very surprised that the Biryani here, was really good and it was full of flavour. The Chicken was cooked very nicely, along with the spices, as it should be. Amazing.
The service was super fast here. Just Brilliant! Our table server, Ishwar, was quick and very humble.

I’m a fan of Andhra cuisine now. Thanks a lot Nagarjuna, for such an amazing experience. I would truly recommend this place if you are craving a good Andhra Cuisine meal in Bangalore.
Nagarjuna serves the best andhra meals in Bangalore.
Chutney, dal, sweet, even the curd was so awesome.
Service is very good and prompt.
Will keep visiting.
Nagarjuna Restaurant impressed me not only with their unlimited veg meals, priced at a reasonable 275 rupees but also by serving them on traditional banana leaves. The use of banana leaves for serving added a unique and authentic touch to the dining experience. It was a delightful nod to South Indian culinary traditions and enhanced the overall appeal of the meal.
In addition to this, we indulged in boneless chicken kabab as a starter, and it was worth every penny. The perfect blend of spices made every dish incredibly delicious.
The restaurant's dedication to creating flavorful dishes was evident, and I left with a full belly and a contented palate. If you appreciate Indian cuisine, especially Andhra-style, Nagarjuna is a must-visit. The restaurant's cozy atmosphere, welcoming staff, and the use of banana leaves for serving make it an even more unique and enjoyable dining experience.
I highly recommend trying their veg meals and exploring their diverse menu for a truly satisfying and tasty meal. It's an excellent choice for both food enthusiasts and those looking for a delightful dining experience with the traditional touch. It is a must visit!!
Nagarjuna is an Andra-style restaurant situated in Bannerghatta. The restaurant is pretty large and has loads of space, yet has waiting times due to the immense crowd. Service is quick and efficient despite the number of people. It's pretty clean, too.
Good parking available.
Food has large quantity, and very good taste, too.
I recommend the veg meals (unlimited), Biriyani and chicken.

Authentic Andhra food tastes. Liked the Chicken biryani and chicken fry (with cashew), try these two if you are non vegetarian. Good parking space available for two wheelers. The behaviour of the staff is very good. Good ambience and cool environment. Shared some photos.
I've been a frequent visitor to Nagarjuna's Koramangala branch, primarily for their vegetarian meals. On this occasion, we decided to try their another branch. While I personally felt that the food quality at the Koramangala branch was slightly better, I must say that the service at this branch was quite pleasant. The food was still good, and the waiter provided excellent service, making it an overall positive experience.
Nagarjuna, situated in Bangalore, stands as the ultimate destination for those seeking authentic Andhra cuisine. Their delightful Andhra meals, presented on banana leaves, and the extensive variety of vegetarian options together form a culinary paradise. While the restaurant's ambiance is decent, it often gets crowded, making reservations a wise choice. Additionally, the availability of parking is a convenient bonus.
My family and I are dedicated patrons of Nagarjuna, drawn particularly to their comforting vegetarian thali and appetizers. The mutton biryani, though packing a spicy punch, delivers undeniably rich and flavorful taste. Their fish fry and various chicken items are also superbly tasty and delicious. The use of spices and authentic herbs in their dishes truly sets them apart. Moreover, the exceptional service further enhances the allure of this remarkable restaurant. It undoubtedly deserves a five-star rating! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
