It was so nice to stay there...
I like the food, it was so awesome.
Nice food...
No doubt about the ambience...
Casual visit for lunch made really special, very tasty food. It was on Friday and we arrived at namaz time. Still they were able to allow us inside and took our order. We understand their efforts to our service. Apart from all this, Really delicious food too. Thank you.
Good Quantity of Mutton is given with the Biryani and it was very tasty. The Brain Pepper Fry also was very tasty and a good quantity was given in the parcel.
Old timers of Bangalore would know of Imperial on Residency Road as a place popular for its Kababs. My father often talked about going there during his bachelor days and me to my son who now being an adult also visits the place....
The Imperial is open till past midnight and you will see the place pretty crowed especially on weekends past midnight but dont worry they have a lot of place and will accommodate you in no time at all.
Parking is a BIG problem at all times...
Most of the food served here is good.
1) The Kababs, Ghee Rice & Parathas - Kerala, Wheat, Ceylon etc, are the most popular items here. The Chicken Kabab especially comes with good-sized, succulent and crispy pieces. They also have a chilli kabab which is really good and one should not miss ordering both these kababs..
2) They have some excellent Bheja pepper and Bheja masala.
3) Great Grilled Chicken.
4) The Chicken Biriyani, although not top-notch, is a decent one.
5)
Good collection of juices etc.
Verdict :- This is NOT your fine dining place, but they do have a a/c family section on the first floor, This restaurant is ideal for quick eating out or take away or as a pocket-friendlier option.
Please note once again : - Imperial is not a fine dine or a fancy restaurant, its a basic restaurant with some great food that wont burn a hole in your pocket.
We had a family dinner at this hotel and we had such a great experience .had all non veg stuffs- tandoori chicken ,kawabs and many such items..we had fabulous time eating there
Situated on the busy Residency Road, this establishment has been around for decades. Tried their butter chicken and nan and was happy with the food and service. A good option if you are looking to try some non-vegetarian fare.
If you are a grill lover you should definitely try out this place for mouth watering grilled chicken.... this place is open till late mid night.... good for people looking for a place in odd hours to kill and satisfy their hunger cramps... ghee rice with chicken combo is also excellent choice ...
We had chicken kabab, butter kulcha and dal thadka. Food was above average. Chicken kabab was good. We also had moosambi juice and watermelon juice which were okish. Overall the place is good.
Love Biryaani with long basmathi rice ?
.
This place in residency road serves a tasty biryaani with fried onions on top. This place doesn't have a spicy biryaani ,they accompany their biryaani with sherwaa and raita , good to go meal ! Had heard enough about this place , they have many branches across Bangalore, so give it a try 😋
Place is little thinkable but taste and food is nice with service as well r
Responsive attractive and they deserve the 5* rating.
We had a biriyani with chicken grilled with mates.
Ordered fried rice and got it piping hot, though the veggies and rice are not that great of quality. But the quantity is good enough for one
The restaurant offers delicious food in a pleasant ambiance with a separate family room, though prices are slightly higher.
Hotel Imperial, a classic and historic restaurant located on Residency Road in Bangalore. The restaurant has been around since 1950, and it is one of the oldest dining establishments in the city. Despite its age, the restaurant has managed to maintain a loyal following and expand to ten or so outlets across Bangalore. The ambiance of the restaurant is simple and unpretentious, with minimalistic decor and comfortable seating arrangements. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the service is prompt and efficient. The menu at Hotel Imperial is diverse, featuring a mix of Kerala, Mughlai, and Chinese cuisine. The restaurant is well-known for its kebabs, ghee rice, grilled chicken, and special parathas. Must try are sholay kabab, which was perfectly deep fried and spiced to perfection. The butter chicken was another standout dish that was rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. The special imperial biriyani is also a hit, with tender pieces of meat and fragrant rice. I also like the Ceylon paratha, which was flaky, buttery, and delicious. The only downside is the fish, which is not as fresh as I would have liked in the many times I have dinned in there. However, this was a minor issue, and it did not detract from the overall quality of the food. I also appreciated the fact that the restaurant is open late into the night, making it a perfect spot for a late-night snack or meal.
In terms of value for money, Hotel Imperial is reasonably priced, and the portions are generous. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good food, friendly service, and a cozy ambiance. Overall, my experience at Hotel Imperial was always excellent, and I look forward to returning soon to try more of their delicious dishes and fell the old good times had here.

Perfect place for family Dining. Very impressed with excellent service provided by Naseer sir (floor manager) and staff who were quick on their feet for everything. Truly felt satisfied with the food as it was quick and delicious! Will definitely visit again.
The food served here is quite nostalgic and brings back the memories of childhood. It’s awesome how they’ve maintained the same taste over all these years.
Tastes great. I like their chicken kabab. I tried it after 4 years. Still same and good. Can be crowded during weekends. Works late night till 1 am.
Hotel Imperial at Residency Road in Bangalore.
These photos are from this outlet of this very popular joint. At midnight this restaurant was packed!!
Very tasty 😋 and unique preparations they have, mostly non veg.
I love kerala style parathas. Other dishes were average. The facility and service was awesome. Price was fine only based on location.

The food was not exceptional, but more than satisfactory. Ghee rice and kababs with some gravy (the free one will do just fine) is a good combo. Top it off with a glass of lime-tea.
