Review The Pizza Bakery - Bengaluru

New BEL Road is hub of eateries & this is another one added to the list of places to go have some yummy food. Right on the 80 feet road in front of Milano is the location. Great staff who are very courteous and some amazing food. Was not planning to have non-veg food so tired a few veg options. Very tasty and we loved it. Not too spicy and creamy but was mouth watering. Italian food was a delight…. Don’t miss this.

It's a great place to hangout with friends and family. All the food items here are good but the alcohol is limited to only beer here. Valet parking is available but it will be crowded on weekends. In fact it was too crowded that we couldn't get a table at the roof. The sourdough pizza and stuffed garlic bread is good here with other starters and they are all priced fairly. Overall I would visit this place again anytime.

I mean I can assure you pizzas you get here must be as good as you get in Italy or in USA. Their pizzas are too good. Tasty simple and delicious. I think rather than putting it in words I would recommend you to visit The pizza bakery while you are in Bangalore. Also they serve beer from TOIT so that’s icing on the cake

I have been to multiple outlets of The Pizza Bakery and I love them all! The highlight here is that the food is consistently good across all outlets. The pizzas here are some of the best in Bangalore. Love their pizza menu, the garlic breads and their desserts. The Nutella bread with almond flakes is one of the most innovative and delicious things you can eat here. Each time the food comes in front of me, I am too busy eating that I miss taking pictures. These are some of the few pics I have managed to collect.

Visited "The Pizza Bakery" for team lunch. Ambient was pleasant and pizza was definitely worth trying. Decent variety of options for vegetarians. The service was prompt. Parking on church street will be challenging. NOTE: We visited the branch in Church Street. For some reason, I could not find the branch in google map.

One of the best Garlic cheese breads I've ever ate. Top quality bread and even the pizza bread was so good. Mac and Cheese with Jalapeno worth tasting. Definitely recommend! Best pizzas in town !!
Rutuja Doble
The pizza here is truly authentic and absolutely delicious. It captures the true essence of authentic pizza, offering a flavorful experience that’s hard to find elsewhere. The flavors are rich and genuine, making every bite a delightful experience. If you're a fan of real, authentic pizza, this place is a must-visit.

This place has the best stuffed garlic breads and sourdough pizzas. Must visit if you are a Pizza Lover!

Lovely food here...the stuffed garlic bread is just out of the world - I still can feel the lingering taste. We had diablo pizza - though it said bird's eye chilli as a topping I couldn't really find it but the taste was still top notch.

The Pizza Baker truly impressed with its innovative flavors and quality. The sourdough stuffed garlic bread was a delightful start, boasting a unique texture and a rich garlic infusion. The Peri Peri French fries and the onion rings in the menu were a crispy sensation, perfectly spiced for a kick. The main event, a 12-inch Farmer's Chimichurri Pizza, exceeded expectations. The blend of fresh ingredients and the zing of chimichurri created a heavenly experience. The addition of Burrata cheese was a game-changer, introducing a burst of creamy goodness that elevated the pizza to new heights. Although when we went, we couldn’t get kombuchas for our drinks which was the sad part. The overall dining experience at The Pizza Baker was a perfect harmony of textures and flavors, making it a must-visit for pizza enthusiasts.

I Ordered Stuffed Garlic bread and Vegetarian Pizza. Taste was Average. Portion is good. Not worth for the price. I rate 5 star for Ambience. They have roof top with road view. Food taste need improvement.

Go here if you want, good ambience, decent music that isn't deafening and good food that'll keep the conversation flowing. They serve probably one of the nicer pizzas in town. Their bread is amazing and delicious in its own right. We tried the beer samplers alongisde a pizza and a stuffed garlic bread. The pizza was the real deal, their garlic bread was also good, but it didn't feel garlicky at all, maybe we are trained the wrong way 🤣 from some of the brands.

This place is located right at the main road. Parking is not easy here. Food is good and I would recommend Jalapeno garlic bread. Vegetarian and non veg options have a good balance. You will not regret it if you are a vegetarian. Service was prompt and accommodating. Ambience is good. No loud music. Good place to have conversations. Wheelchair accessiblity is not available as there are stairs that you need to climb to get to the seating area or the rooftop. Overall a good place and worth multiple visits.

The stuffed garlic breads and the pizzas were amazing. We had also ordered some fresh juices and cold coffees. The ambience is very good, with soft music playing the background and not too loud. We ordered some chicken wings and in the end got some Tiramisu slices as well. Overall, had a good experience with food and ambience.

We went here for dinner and the food was just amazing! We had pesto chicken pizza with potato wedges and it was just too yummy. They have unique topping options such as burrata, whiskey flamed and others. Overall ambience, service, staff was really good. Will definitely recommend a date night here! Less crowd on a weekday, it's better to dine in than order in from here. Pleasant interiors, music and the rooftop seating was just perfect!

We had come here for team dinner and it's a great place to hang out. We tried a lot of things and pina colada, hell boy and onion rings were my favorites.

One of the best pizzerias in Bangalore !! Would definitely go another time to try out their pizza on fire. The signature garlic bread is a show stopper, must try !!! We tried stuffed garlic bread with chicken and sun dried tomatoes, roasted lamb pizza and ended with an earthy lavender tea. Also, the ambience is so insta friendly! 😋😋

On receiving the pizza, the toppings had fallen off and the pizza was all rolled up. Paid 900 inr for this.

You ask anyone which is the best pizza place in Bangalore, and there’s a higher chance than not they’ll say ‘Pizza Bakery’. So after a long wait, I finally dropped in shortly after the lockdown was lifted to find out what all the hype was about.
Located in the happening 12th Main of Indiranagar, you’re gonna have to negotiate a pretty strait stairway that could knock your head in case you’re not careful enough, to get to the restaurant area. Coming to the ambience of the restaurant itself, the indoor dining area looks and feels charming with a live pizza kitchen although it was mostly crowded by delivery guys waiting for their orders (this place is a hit for takeaways). We chose to sit on the rooftop area upstairs, which was again pleasant and quaint, but the dimness of the lighting made it feel borderline abandoned. Not to forget the famed full wall painting of Mona Lisa with a beer moustache.
Finally coming to the food, here’s what we ate-
For starters,
TPB Chicken Wings Aglio Olio Parmesan- tender chicken wings with some really scrumptious garnishings- really liked this one but was a little heavy on the oil.
Butter Garlic Prawns- prawns were well cooked and tasted good and came with focaccia on the side. Again could’ve done with a little less oil.
Classic Stuffed Garlic Bread with Jalapeños- a signature of this restaurant, it tasted unique and of course tasted great!
Coming to the mains and pizza course itself, we had
Peri Peri Chicken Pizza- with a crispy wood fired crust as expected and equally good toppings, safe to say this quite lived up to the hype of the place.
Spinach & Ricotta Ravioli- the ravioli was nice and well cooked, and though it came with Arrabbiata sauce and I personally like white sauce to go with my raviolis, it tasted on point for what it was.
Sadly couldn’t try any more of their renowned pizzas as we were too full by now and moved on straight to desserts-
Traditional Tiramisu- any Italian meal is incomplete without this and once again, The Pizza Bakery did not disappoint. As divine as it could get, this one sure was a winner.
Brookie a la Mode- a nice big piece of warm chocolate brownie served with vanilla ice-cream, chocolate sauce and roasted almonds- this too tasted as good as it looked, and had me coming back for more.
While the food was fairly delicious across the board, it was the desserts that stole the show, with both their quality as well as quantity being at their very finest.
The service was also just fine and nothing to complain about at all. Price-wise too, the place is quite picket friendly, even for its own locality.
Would definitely like to be back and try more of their pizzas, and of course devour their mouth-watering desserts😋

We usually order pizza from the pizza bakery to our house, but the other day we decided to go. I really liked their rooftop terrace ambiance. It was great for our 1.5-year-old to run around freely. Everything was good but one area to improve would be the service. Our server must have been new because he kept telling us they don't have items, but they actually do! He told us there is no nutella pizza dessert (it's called nutella sourdough on the menu, but he didn't put 2 and 2 together). But the worse part for this waiter is when we asked is there is risotto he said no, but then told us a place up the road where we can order risotto! Could've been a very easy way to lose business, but we stayed. And finally, as a vegan, I was excited about the vegan cheese, but I don't think coconut cheese does the trick. It gives a sweet flavor to the pizza which doesn't really work well in my opinion. But bravo for adding vegan options :) Also, I would love to see a Marinara pizza added to the menu. I have tried the Pizza Rosso and prefer the Marinara version that Brik Oven serves.

Okay wow! This place! I have no words! We have been visiting and ordering from this place at least once a week. They use real cheese, not the weird cheese flavoured sauce you get from other places. Everything here is perfection! My favourite has always been their Hellboy. Try it! Its the best pizza in Bangalore!! Hey Pizza Bakery, please don’t change!

Went twice to this eatery in last 1 month & loved the flavors of the food. Staff was very polite as well as courteous, hygiene standards maintained & showcased by the team. Would highly recommend the place to diners.

I've had the best pizzas here, their beers and pizzas are just the best combination one could really ask for.

Great Food and Fresh Food with very Courteous team
Roopali Sethi
We ordered pepperoni pizza , chicken pizza, garlic bread and chicken wings . Their menu is little overpriced and pizza is not that cheesy . Though I liked their bread as it is thin . Delivery and packaging was done hygienically. We liked chicken wings a lot . Rest everything for us was average .

great great pizzas. The toppings are Generous, the pizza is juicy and really tasty. It’s well presented and the ambience is nice as well.

Authentic Italian fare, food is tasty, ambience is tasteful. One of the best wood fired pizzas in the city
In times of Covid where restaurants are doing their best to avoid the unseen virus, we got the quite visible human hair as a topping (this is the second time) with spoilt cheese to be mixed with. Disappointed.. first bad Tiramisu's and now pizza and garlic bread. Never visiting/ordering.
Pujashri Dhurvey
This is worst pizza and breadstick that I had in my life. With 4.2 zomato rating, I didnt anticipate that it can be this horrible. It felt like I'm eating tandori roti(not even hot) with some mixed veggies and cheese (dont know if it really was cheese). It was just so disappointing. Well, for the record , I ordered one fungi misti pizza and one garlic bread classic.

To the restaurant:
I hope you guys will consider my feedback constructively and will try to improve.
Thank you.
Poornima S
I just love their classic garlic bread! Just so yumm with the caramelised onions hidden under the folds and not to forget the dip that comes along, the best I have ever eaten, period! Also, their pizzas are great too, especially since they are made with sour dough, it's healthier and tasty 😊 Would definitely recommend this place for all the pizza and garlic bread lovers😊

Went here a few months before the lockdown! We ordered their pops veggie delight pizza, signature stuffed garlic bread - classic & coke float! But surprisingly, coke float wasn't on their menu. The humble staff served it to us anyway as we were celebrating a birthday. Was super happy with this gesture & recommend their food to every pizza lover in the city. Definitely worth the metro rides 😂

Cute terrace roof top seating overlooking 12th main, the perfect setting for romantic dinner.
Delicious pizza made with super fresh ingredients. This is how pizza is supposed to be. Great ambiance enhances the experience. Awesome place. I had been in the evening the place was crowded with online orders looks like a favorite joint for many

This is my favourite place for days I feel like having Italian. I’ve been visiting Pizza Bakery ever since they opened in Indiranagar and have never left disappointed. Their service and ambience have always been very warm. The beer and everything on food menu always do justice to the high cost. Big fan of their caramelised onion garlic bread.
Malavika Menon
I stepped in here just for a dessert, which was perhaps a bad idea. I am neither a deep fan of the same, and however so, I love my pizza.

Service is undeniably great, even in rush hour. The ambience, roof-top in stunning Indiranagar is a cherry on a sundae.

Their icecream is decent, I can't say I fell heads over heels in love. Still, I will hold back on my final verdict till I can step in to actually sample their pizza once.
Sanchit
The pizza was one of the best I've had in Bangalore, but it was not delivered hot.
I live quite close, so probably a case of the pizza going cold by the time the delivery guy picked it up from them.
I would probably prefer dining-in the next time.
The Coffee Addict
Team, I ordered a the "Pig out" pizza thrice the last one being for dinner, yesterday. It is your fault that I am unable to upload any photographs!. we finish the pizza by the time we decide to take photographs.
Seriously, when one of my favorites pizza joint shut down a couple of years ago, I could never find a pizza close to their "Meat cravers". Your Pig out beats that! with crispy bacon and an egg for decoration, it is unbelievable!
The apple pie was out of the world. It was so good that I didnt share or keep it for the next day. Again, Your fault!:)
The best apple cake I have ever eaten. 5 stars for the food, delivery and consistency. I wish to dine in.. Wish your staff and their families a safe phase.

Would like to appreciate the consistency in achieving top quality, in freshness and flavour at the Pizza Bakery. We love the variety in the menu (esp that insane olive stuffed garlic bread!) and have never been disappointed with our order. A shout out to you all, in the kitchen and operations - we absolutely love your pizza and can’t wait to dine in again! ♥️

I received a cold and stale food which was soggy. I ordered garlic bread and pizza .I had no choice but to throw it( I sent zomato the pictures) When asked zomato for a refund they for something I didn’t consume no justice given for the ₹800+ just went in pure waste ..

I’m from America and often very disappointed by pizza in India. THIS PIZZA IS AMAZING. The toppings are incredible. The crust is PERFECT! I’ve seen a few reviews saying that the crust is “hard to chew”. It’s not hard to chew, it’s chewy, which is exactly what good pizza crust should be.

I ordered the 4 cheese pizza and the spicy one with pepperoni bacon and honey (I added mushrooms to both). They were both so good! Even in America THIS is the place I would be ordering from. Awesome.
Anirudh
I tried their pepperoni cheese garlic bread and it was horrible
Ratna Hubli
I ordered in the pizza since it had a great rating on Swiggy and loved their Four Cheese Pizza. Their Nutella Mascarpone sourdough is perfect tasting! My new favourite pizza place :D
Agrima
The pizza was really hard and dry. They shouldn't be calling themselves an Italian place when the only thing they got right that day were the truffle sauce fries and beer. even though the ambience was really nice, I had expected much more of a place called "Pizza" bakery.
Binge Bengaluru
Don’t leave without trying their garlic bread with cheese. I believe, their garlic bread is much better than the pizza.
The butter garlic prawns was beautiful, crunchy and plenty. 10/10 for the garlic bread
Ayesha
Pizza was hard to chew and toppings were very ok. Loved the garlic beard and tiramisu.cold coffee is also nice.

I was catching up with a friend for lunch at the Pizza Bakery a few weeks back. The simple monotone ambience is perfect for the kind of food they serve, not overly complicated, simple, delicious food.

We ordered the pesto garlic bread with sundried tomatoes which was incredible. The Woodfired flavour was there but wasn’t too strong. The crust was crisp outside and soft inside. The best part is that it’s stuffed with cheese. We also opted for the spaghetti in pesto sauce with fresh burrata cheese on top. The burrata was gooey and soft, it made a sauce of it’s own when combined with the delicious pesto. Loved this too.

The drinks we ordered were perfect too, especially the Oreo shake. The tiramisu was amazing too. It was quite authentic and tasted great, brimming with coffee flavour.

The only thing that wasn’t satisfactory in the meal was the butter garlic prawns. Apparently the cook on it was perfect but it was swimming in oil. The oil was too excessive. It looked like my oil intake for a week in a bowl. Even if there was focaccia to soak a bit of it, eating so much oil isn’t really pleasant.

The staff are extremely friendly and courteous. We loved the service!
Umesh M
The ambience is nice with multi levels of seating. I had the margherita pizza and pepperoni pizza which was good. Also the traditional tiramisu was good. Happy with the visit.
Guess
food is amazingly great especially the italian menu. stuffed garlic bread in here will make you fall in love with the place. ambience is better than just okay-ish. pizza's are wood fired and amazingly great. if you are a fan of pizza then this your stop. food presentation style is great too.

Went wid the reviews for a Saturday lunch with friends & family. Between 5 of us had a few beers, juices, shakes, 4 appetisers, 2 grlc bread, 2 pizza & one pasta; to talking up to 5k, pretty decent. Ambience nice, staff hospitable, location easy & wid a valet helps a lot. Food was nice with subtle flavours. Liked the open kitchen for breads & pizzas, which are fresh & nice.

I feel the food at this establishment has declined in recent times. I have had amazing food, especially pizzas before and it was yummy.
However, on a recent visit, though the appetizers were superb as usual (garlic bread, fries), I was surprised that the pizza was not the usual top quality, can't stop eating good. It was just about average and quite disappointing.
Their ambience and service is still good, I hope they go back to making their perfect pizzas as well.

Pizza Bakery used to be one of my favourite places as they serve really soft and fresh dough pizzas along with decent beer. So on Valentine’s day I went there with my wife and kid, around 8 ish and called them up before coming there. My kid really loves pizzas.

I understood that they dont take bookings and I only requested them for a POC - Mr Debashish.

My wife and daughter got there first and immediately found it to be full. Natural V-day and all, no shocker so far. We asked them to take down our no and let us know when the table is available, my kid wanted to goto the gelato place next door. Here starts the bad experience.

The POC refused to help my wife out and was down right rude and ill mannered. This place didnt have the courtesy to offer us a place to wait, even if it was because we had a kid.

I spoke to Mr Debashish and my wife and I decided to go elsewhere. Am definitely not going back to this place that cannot invest in 1. Apps to manage crowds in their restaurants 2. 1.5 Rs to make a call to people who come from across Bangalore to their restaurant and wait 3. Dont have waiting area for a woman and her kid.

Disappointed to the core!
Vallabh Srinath
Everything we ordered tasted bad🤷

This place is aptly named pizza bakery and brew, with a lovely ambience and vibe to it. Slightly on the expensive side (we paid approx 2400₹ for three beers, two starters, a half-half pizza and a dessert, between three people), but worth the price.

This was on my list for quite some Time and finally visited on a Sunday night for dinner.
I was not expecting, but there was waiting on Sunday night.. But we got the table in 10 odd minutes.
We tried chilli pomodoro pizza 🍕 and also pesto garlic bread with sun-dried tomato, both of them were good in taste.
But takeaway for me was the European hot chocolate, it was very good n way above expectations.
Service was also quick, they told us that pizza might take 25 mins to due crowd, but they eventually got it in 10 mins.... Plus staff was very friendly as well.
Definitely recommended 👍

The food is amazing and the TIRAMISU is 😍😍 a major add to this place is DESMOND !! One of the best servers a restaurant can have.
Thank you Desmond !!

Ordered the Quattro and the starter and the food was absolutely exquisite. The service by Desmond was very good and had a great time
Kavin Gautam
Our waiter Desmond really pampered the six of us. Enhanced the entire experience and he took such good care, on top of really great food.

Ambience is good for family, group of friends or couple. Not really sure what happened to their pizzas, was really disappointed with the preparation, wasn’t properly baked as well.. their top two veg pizzas had hardly any difference.. watermelon feta cheese starter was amazing

Food -10/10
The food is made to the best taste

Service -10/10
The staff is very friendly and know their menu

Ambiance -10/10
The place has lively music and sets the mood of the day

Overall -10/10
Can hangout with family

So it's a cute new pizza places I came across in Indiranagar with such swanky interiors. Food, staff, ambience everything is amazing. Woodfire pizzas are a plus point! It's a must visit for sure.
Tanvi Mirji
everything!! Desmond the waiter was so kind and friendly. Definitely coming back for the food and the AMAZING service!

If you are searching for an authentic fermented sourdough crusted pizza, look no further! This is my favorite place in town for Napoli style wood-fired pizza with a thick side and an amazing chewy crust

The garlic bread stuffed caramelized onion and sun-dried tomato option is unique and divine...this really lively done up restaurant provides an unparallel experience.

The drunk Mona Lisa is quirky and cute

We also ordered for burrata bomb and would pass it next time.

The sourdough pizza which they claim to be fermented 48 hours is simply divine. One must try the truffled fungi Misti with mushrooms, microgreens, red paprika and fresh mozzarella topped with truffle oil

We finished our meal with classic tiramisu. Luscious and addictive!

Why on Earth people prefer going here instead of getting hands to Mojo Pizza , La pinos and all.
U will definitely find Costly pizza with absolutely no taste.

Chilli pomodoro on flambe!!! Best pizza ever

Came here for lunch on New Years Day. Was pretty crowded but we were seated pretty quickly. The service is very nice and quick, extremely kind and friendly staff. The ambience is very nice as well. Overall a very comforting atmosphere.

Between four people, we ordered 1 Lamb Ragu Garlic Bread, 1 Quattro Formaggi with Garlic Butter, 1 Lamb and Chicken Pizza with Buratta and 2 drinks - a Watermelon Juice and a Peace Iced Tea.

The Lamb Ragu Garlic bread was delicious, loved the caramelized onion crust. The Quattro Formaggi was delicious as well. The Lamb and Chicken Pizza was hands down the best out of the lot, loved every bite of it, especially the Buratta. The Watermelon Juice was really refreshing and so was the Peace Iced Tea.

All in all, Pizza Bakery serves one of the best pizzas in town and is a must try place for people who love pizza or Italian food in general. Great food. Definitely coming back again to try out more from their menu!

This is how the pizza was delivered. Not sure how to eat it. The garlic bread with sundried tomato and pesto was also cold and tasteless. Would recommend dine-in over delivery.

Lovely Lovely pizza, nice burn on the crust and the dough was the best! Dough so good i remember it even months later. Yummmm
Nikita
Been there after a friend's recommendation, was not much happy with the service as they took almost an 30-40 mins to took my order.Coming to the food i ordered a half margherita and half quattro stagioni (which included broccoli, artichoke, bell peppers, olives) and a classic blue cheese garlic bread with wheat beer both were absolute delight, a proper authentic italian taste.
Dont forget to see the mona lisa painting holding beer in her hand on the top floor ;)
Must visit place!

It was an quick lunch getaway before new year. We were excited to try their stuffed garlic bread which was amazing. We gulped in wheat beer with their chicken wings - extra bbq sauce intended. The pizza here is the best. The crust and it's layered toppings from an wood fire gives you the best pizza experience. Ambiance - both indoor & outdoor. Rooftop is best. The graffiti paintings .

We went to pizza bakery after a busy day in college. The food ofcourse was phenomenal- we had the stuffed garlic bread with sun dried tomatoes and the pizza with mushrooms. I would definitely rate this as Bangalore’s best pizza place
What made this experience even more better was our waiter, Desmond. He went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and showed us hospitality we had never experienced before, in any restaurant. It was such a refreshing change to be served by such a kind human being who, might I add, had a great sense of humour.
I will definitely be visiting again
Bhoomika Singal
Amazing food and ambience! Desmond was very welcoming and courteous
Bangalore Food Diary
Extremely pricey and pizza and garlic break were just okay. But they have lovely ambience and courteous staff.

The sourdough pizza base is excellent. Once you’ve had sourdough, the other pizza bases seem terribly boring. Except for one, the other three veggie pizzas had chillies as toppings. The mushroom pizza with truffle oil would have been great without the chillies killing all other flavours.

We went for Christmas dinner with friends and ordered garlic bread, double cheese pizza and hot chocolate. To our surprise the pizza had a large string of plastic in it. We brought it under their notice who initially denied and later was non committal about what the nature of the foreign particle. as a gesture they offered us a replacement but charged for the same as well.
They cleared our table but a small piece was on the table which can be seen in picture
