Dined at 1947 recently.. The ambience is lovely! Nicely decorated walls, comfortable sofas and chairs for seating.
We ordered a la carte and the menu was great. Excellent service followed by really tasty good food filled our tummies and created good memories.

Food is so good. U have an option for bouffant too. Thr ambience is so good. Especially Attender surya treats you so well.
Reasonably priced and yet a good number of options for Buffet lunch.. You have options for South Indian, North Indian, Chats, Chinese and even Italian counter. Hot jalebi, Gulab jamoon and ice cream for desert option was also a treat.. The food was very good. I liked the salad bar and the delicious Penne pasta the most.. When you go as a family, its Definitely a tough task to have everyone happy.. But to my surprise all found something that they liked. A restaurant I would recommend if you are in the area.
Another plus is that they have parking in basement..

4. Gulab jamun was so smooth and with icecream it's the must try combination
First time when I visited 1947 I had taken a buffet and I din like it.
But this time we ordered things we wanted and it was too good.
Tomato soup was ultimate.
Everything was too good.
Just loved it this time.

Very nice ambience comfortable seating and they have placed freedom fighters pictures on walls.
We had achari paneer tikka , malai tikka, sholay paneer tikka.
Tikka was really good, flavours and paneer was soft and filling in sholay paneer tikka was also very tasty.
Gobi chilli and paneer chilli -Paneer and Gobi was crispy, tasty and juicy too.
Watermelon basil cooler is must have very delicious and refreshing drink.
Sabzi tawa biryani was the best.
Kulcha roti with veg kadai and paneer Kadai was good choice in main course, flavours of curries are good and paneer Kadai is on sweeter side n i like it.
Icecream scoops we had orange and black current flavours.
Buffet here is also must try they have many varieties of dishes served for best price.
Good quality , taste and service.
I loved the humble nature of the waiters. I forgot my bag while returning home, one of the waiter came back and gave it to me.
