KC Das in MG Road is an iconic Mithai shop which for decades has attempted to delight Bangaloreans with the best mithai that Calcutta has to offer. Must try items include Luchi - Aloo Dum, Green Peas Kachori as well as the famous Malpua! Something to improve on would definitely be levels of hygiene which has fallen over the years and needs a step up.

Excellent taste, Pure delicacy.
Quite extraordinary in taste and really can't believe same is being maintained for such long time. I used to eat kc das in calcutta, fan since I was a kid
An old favourite, this place has been churning out Bengali favourites for decades.
Don't miss the Luchhi, rasagulla, Lal Mohan and Turkish delight.
Go here for a sugar rush and instant food coma.
We stopped at this place because my mum has fond memories of K.C. Das's Bengali sweets from the time that she lived in Bangalore years ago. Revisiting memories meant that I got to taste some lightly sweetened and absolutely delicious mishti doi. In addition, I had their fabulous rasmalai, which was a revelation in its sweetness and fluffiness. The Irani Delight is another good try.
The only reason I have taken off a star is for their Turkish Delight, which is overtly sweet and does not really resemble the Turkish Delight from Turkey.
But for their Bengali sweets, would recommend!
An awesome place for a person with a sweet tooth .. lots and loads of Bengali sweets.. rosagulla and my favourite rosmanjuri ... Too good .. and they do offer puri cutlet paneer cutlet gulab jamun and many others .. summary is it's a good place 😃
Known for being the founder fathers of Rosogolla. A sweet that conquers platters of the world. 1868 marked the accidental introduction of Rosogolla by Nabin Chandra Das. And his son and flag bearer Krishna Chandra Das took this confectionery history to next level making it famous in UK US and lot of other places. This store in MG road embarks the sweet history of its founders. Recently going on a revamp they've changed the entire look and feel. Regarding it's always best..Hing kachori being personal favourite. And rosomalai n malpua are other few extraordinary dishes.. very low pocket pinch and very fulfilling bringing you the joy of Kolkata on your platter. Cheers!!
Its 5 star just for rasagullas! Its amazing and this has been vetted by my Bengali friend.
But overall, its a 4 star. Decent sweets and service.
I am not really a 'sweet' person however the few that I like are all found at this place. I was here again a few days back to indulge in some saccharine goodness when I thought of trying their luchi. I fell in love with the luchi and the dal that comes along with it. Did not like the alu sabji that came with it too much.
The luchi was quite filling so I couldn't eat the paneer chops and samosa as I had intended. I guess I LL just have to return soon for them.
One of the oldest sweet shops in Bangalore and they can never ever go wrong ! The corner shop is a perfect place to soothe your sweet tooth ! Just love them! Always ! Ever !
I love their products particularly, Rabri, Sondesh, Roshogolla and Nimki and do buy them during festive and other occasions. But one should always visit the outlet on St. Marks road as this is the main branch and you get the choicest and freshest of all items. Wish their Nimkis were as fresh as their sweet products. On certain occasions I felt the Nimkis were few days old.
Wide variety of sweets are available.
Tried Turkish delight and kadam both were too good.
Soan papdi was melting in mouth.
Dine in and parcel options both are available here.
Great place for Bengali sweets and savouries. I love their sondesh and samosas. You can either eat here (limited number of tables) or take home.
Situated in a prime location, the shop is frequented by regulars. They use the walls to sell art, making it quite an eclectic outlet.
I am giving 4 starts because they have authentic taste of Mysore Pak.
However, don't expect from other sweets.
Car parking is available near petrol station but mostly occupied.

All ways the Best for sweets. Have been seeing this place from my childhood days. Still the taste is same . You have option for short eats also. Place is Spick and span . Well decently recommend for people who love sweets . The staff is kind and friendly.
This nifty little place located at the corner is great to grab a quick bite, they have a variety of sweets and namkeen, like Samosas and Kachoris. There are a few tables where you can sit and have them.
The ambience is fine if not great, and the chutneys are filled on a regular basis, so make sure to ask if you don't find them filled.
Rasmali and Turkish Delight are worth a try.
Always and forever will have the rasgullas when I visit this place. A must try, as it’s their signature sweet for which they became known for many many years ago. A Small place with only 4 tables seating. They have a Cothas coffee machine which does not work and tea is also not available! Only sweets and snacks is what you get here. Service is self serve!
I have been a fan of this place since I visited Kolkata. I was very happy to see this place while roaming in Banglore. I love Bengali sweets very crazily and KC Das is one of my favourites when it comes to authentic Bengali sweets.
Here I ate rasgullas, Gulab Jamunn, ras malai, malai sandwich which was all amazing.
True touch of old-world charm still retained in contemporary style. Not being a fan of sweets, with obvious choice of snacks. Poori's with tasty gravy, Samosas, et al. of consistent tastes. Only wish some Pudina Chutney along with Meeta chutney offered. Great place to be.
Morning breakfast- luchi torkari(puri sabji), a Bengali Breakfast is a must try and is my favourite breakfast here. Sweets are also good here. Among sweets i would say, you should try 'Malpuwa', its really good. You will also get good Rasmalai, langcha, etc. Only cash and card is accepted, no online payment accepted here. Hygiene is well maintained, no need to worry.
Had hing korhuri, sondesh, roshogolla and misti doi and quality was very good. How can a bong say no or dislike anything from KC Das.
