First time experience of Marathi food. Loved it. I am not a seafood lover but the Crab was made magnificently. The Mango dessert was too good and that Sabudana paav was mouth watering..5 stars from me.
Awesome Maharashtrian Food. Little over priced but worth when you wanna eat something which reminds you of your home made food.
We went with family on Sunday evening for Dinner. The place was not very crowded. We ordered Fried mutton, Fried chicken and Puranpoli thali. The food was very tasty and Tambda Pandhra rassa was surprisingly authentic. The quantity of food in thali is more than enough for 1 person.
Highly recommend the chicken and fish thalis. Total value for money. Every item in the thali is delectable. Quantity is more than just enough. Ambience is the only downside, but for price they charge it is totally worth it.
Typically Maharashtrian food what you yearn for when you are in south...great portion, taste 😋
Recently visited again for lunch. Had ordered fish Thali 🐟..quantity and quality and taste was really good. We were welcomed very warmly. The owner suggested some helpful tips also to us.
But I would like to suggest the owner to redecorate the restaurant. The seating arrangement was ok. The ceiling needs renovation seriously. We mahastraians should always give presentations as per modern time. Please don't get offended but sincerely I am suggesting.
Delicious and sumptuous Non vegThalis. I went there after almost a decade and this time, with my wife.
Super glad to see that they have maintained their quality.
My wife loved their food so much that we went there twice in a span of one week.
Definitely coming back.
Note: Some of the thalis might be a little pricey for some but the food was to our liking. Hence, we didn't mind paying a little extra.
If you love Maharashtrian food, you should visit this place. The ambiance is quite average. The hospitality of the staff is good.
The food we had here was :
Surmai fry- great
Fish thali-lovely
The fish thali was luscious as it contained fish fry, three chapati, prawns, dry prawns, fish curry, rice, sol kadi, and Gulab jamun.
The Marathi music playing in the background was giving good vibes.
Overall, a casual place to taste Maharashtrian cuisine.

Had been there for lunch on a Thurs afternoon 08/12/2022 at around 3:00 PM.
The owner gladly talks to the customers and has a very friendly approach. The service is also fast, even though I went at an odd time, I was given good hot food.
Veg Thali had sufficient quantity and variety.
I felt like the food was home cooked food.
I tried Mackerel (Bangda) rawa fry and also prawns rawa fry, prawns Malwani masala which were really tasty.
It's a good place to have an authentic Maharashtrian food.
There's a lot more to try like chicken and mutton kolhapuri etc. Kheema pav, vada pav, snacks etc.
Overall, Food was : 5/5
Seating was : 3.5/5
Service : 5/5
Washroom : 3/5

If you are in Bangalore and missing Maharashtrian food then visit Suryawanshi. They have branches at Whitefield, Indiranagar and a new one opening up at Church Street.
A hidden gem to say the least! Don't get deceived by the less than moderate looks of the restaurant. The food is excellent! Every item was too good and I'm told the taste is truly Maharashtrian. Not too heavy on the pocket as well. I would definitely visit again when I do get a chance.
