Review Anupam's Coast Ii Coast - Bengaluru

Decent place to dine in Koramangala. Don't miss to try their Ghee Roast ( Chicken. N Mutton) with Neer Dosa or Kerala Parata depending on your appetite.

I am giving review for this restaurant after trying other coastal restaurants also, the taste of the food takes you to the coastal region and authentic taste. You just get lost for the taste of coastal cuisine. They won’t use any type of food colour or tasting powder. They use only spices and the food colour you see is only due to the Mirchi. So it is hygienic food. Coming to the taste of which we ordered is as follows Mackerel Masala Fry - This dish I really liked a lot, the fish is fresh and the masala is good you get tangy taste more and it is perfectly roasted and gives fun to your taste buds. If you are looking for spicy then opt for it. Mackerel Tava Roast - The masala is plain and not spicy and it is roasted well in tava and sprinkled with chat masala, which gives good taste when you are having. Neer Dose and Chicken Ghee Roast - This is the best combination of coastal cuisine and must try. The chicken ghee roast is bit spicy but goes well with Neer dose and in a plate they serve 5 Neer dose and they are small and one person can easily have it. You also get Ganji, boiled rice and kori roti and chicken sukka which you can try and it never disappoints you. The place from outside doesn’t impress you but once you enter the ambiance is good with picture of coastal region displayed on the wall and they have kept it so clean and the service is also best. They serve very decently and politely. I highly recommend this place if you are in urge to have Karnataka coastal cuisine.

Manglorean restaurant Ambience : good Situated on the ground floor, koramongala, Bengaluru Food : very nice Portion : sufficient Taste : little bit spicy. U can ask for less spices Great for family and friends Crowd : average

Still the chicken ghee roast to beat. Tried the squid butter garlic and was pleasantly surprised by how well cooked it was. The egg ghee roast was a bit disappointing with the gravy lacking the flavour of it's elder cousin. The atmosphere is so so; if that is important to you, go to the church Street outlet. Dessert is limited to caramel custard (very good) and a ragi thing.
Tanaya Baidya
Awesome coastal food. Crab is a must try. Try to reach early it gets close by 3:30 for lunch and based on the availability of the product they prepare food.

A nice cozy restaurant specially catering to coastal dishes from Karnataka. Their ambience is nice even though the restaurant is not that spacious. Food is served without much delay and the waiters are very friendly. We tried silverfish, ghee prawns, pundi and neer dosa. Silverfish has a strong fish flavour which may not be appreciated by all. But the other dishes were fabulous. They serve ragi pudding and goli sodaas well. Worth visiting if you are a seafood lover. No dedicated parking, so you will need to park in one of the smaller roads nearby and walk. Recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Goo place for some authentic Mangalore food in the Koramangala area. There are quite a few options available from Kori Roti, Chicken with Tamarind (I can't find the exact name), Prawns and Fish We went in for an early lunch and the staff probably just wasn't ready at the time for service so it wasn't the best experience but it did seem to get better once the place started filling up
Sudipta Ray
Authentic chicken ghee roast, consistently tasty. Both dine in and delivery, food tastes same.
Food Tales
Amazing sea food!! One of the must visit restaurants if you are in or around Koramangala and you crave seafood. Here food is authentic manglorian style and ambience is also moody and classic manglore themed. It will cost around 800-1000Rs for two people.

It was an amazing experience eating at the rooftop at Chambal. We ordered 4 appetizers and drinks and we were full and couldn't get into the main course. I will go soon to complete the unfinished 😄

It is my second time....First time the food was really good...But this time chicken ghee roast was good, fish tawa fry also good ,prawns ghee roast was good, I was not happy with the chicken curry they served with kori roti. All over enjoyed but they should maintain the quality to be consistence. Staff were very friendly. Ambience was good. All over enjoyed with the family.
Sriumadevi Sundaramoorthy
Must try: Neer dosa and chicken ghee roast! Fish masala fry will be good here! Cons: However they deliver you faster the food remains cold! It could be a lil hotter considering the scarce crowd!
amardeep vetsa
Food is good but few dishes were little sweet (butter garlic prawns fry). I loved the fish fry, it's awesome. I tried ghee roast fish curry, even that was good too.

This place is must go for your coastal cravings. If you are a seafood lover and like coastal Karnataka food, you must go here. Their speciality is quiet ambience, humble staff and tasty food. You should try Chicken ghee roast, Squid sukka, neer dosa and prawns ghee roast. Prices are bit high but I can assure you that you will never regret for spending those few higher bucks. Their staff is too good. They will guide you for good dishes and their specialities. Hygiene, cleanliness 5/5 Taste 5/5 Service and staff 5/5 Parking is a headache which is a problem for all Koramangala food joints.

Their ghee roast is pretty awesome, sometimes the things on the menu aren't available like "fish thali", me and my partner went thrice to this place it wasn't available all the time, that was bit of a disappointment which made me feel like not visiting to this place, otherwise the food is pretty authentic and won't disappoint you altogether

This is a great place for lovers of Mangalorian cuisine. Really liked the Chicken ghee roast and prawns butter garlic. The beer dosa could've been better. The ambience is simple and service is good.
AKSHIL DASTURE
An average ambiance🍽 but the food dishes served makes it up for it🤌. The food dishes are priced moderate. 🤑The fresh seafood dishes which i ordered was Surmai tawa🐟 fry, Squid ghee roast🦑, Prawn chilly garlic🦐 and , Crab masala🦀. All the food was really delicious and finger linking good🤤🤤. The only thing i would suggest the readers🤓 those who prefer less spicy food😮 to kindly mention your server multiple times🧐 , as even after mentioning it the food served was spicy,😣 i was sweating while eating 🤧😨. Rest the place is a must visit and specially for the seafood as the name suggests Coast 2 Coast! 😛😛

The ambience was really nice!. The Anjal Fish in pic was very well cooked the masala was subtle. ( Dish:- (Masala Anjal Fish Fry) must try here with Neer Dosa. Other must try is Prawns Ghee Roast and Butter Garlic Prawns. Preparation time is 10-15 max so please order accordingly. Do visit it guys, worth the penny spent. 1-2 pax ₹1200 2-4 pax ₹2000

The Ghee Roast Culture!<br/>Anupam's Coast II Coast! <br/>kormangala, Bengaluru <br/><br/>When you arrive at Bengaluru the ghee roast stories can’t be avoided . Everyone has that one favourite place which they swear serves the best chicken ghee roast ever! It is undoubtedly the most popular chakhna! After hearing lots of stories and critics, I narrowed down my search for best ghee roast to Anupam's Coast II Coast! <br/><br/> <br/>Ghee Roast Chicken aka Mangalorean Chicken Ghee Roast or Kundapur Chicken. It is spicy, a bit tangy, chicken roast coated with smooth and spicy fiery red gravy ,made with unrealistic amount of ghee ! If you don’t taste ghee in every bite - chef has failed. <br/><br/>Anupam's Coast II Coast is expensive but I wanted to go for safe option. Hygiene matters, also reviews were fantastic. I did not regret my decision. Neer dosa with chicken ghee roast and squid ghee roast! I also got rava fry, which was equally good. Chicken was cooked to perfection , it was extremely rich and a ghee burst with every bite! A heavy meal. I was happy to receive fresh squids and I realised it was first time in my life I was having desi squids!! More power to us :) <br/><br/>All said and done. Ghee roast is one gem of a dish and doesn’t matter if you are at Bengaluru or Mangaluru you got grab a bite or two of same.<br/><br/>Sharing food stories and what not. <br/><br/>Hippiefoodster

A small dining place.<br/>Proper Mangalore cuisine.<br/>The food is upto mark.<br/>The service is also great.<br/>The way it was cooked with everything on mark impressed me.

This place has some of the best ghee roast I have ever eaten.. fresh, well spiced and tasty is what their food is best described as. Their service is quick and the staff is efficient- quality and hygiene was a no compromise too.. one of the best seafood places in town for sure
Ayesha
Dint like the fish curry, over priced place. Very Spicy. Specialized in Andhra style sea food? Will not recommend. Never have i had ginger jullienes in a fish curry.
Shahbaz Ahmed
Chicken ghee roast and neer dosa is classic. Lemon soda is amazing too.
Tony
Neer Dosa and Chicken Ghee Roast (1/4 Will give you 4 Pieces) is Scrumptious Without doubt. <br/><br/>Silver Fish Curry was really bad and Try the fry if you want. <br/><br/>The Ambience is really below average . The prices in shop and in Zomato is different. Rates in Zomato seems to be 3% higher.

It is not like before how it was, Behavior of staff very rude, they act like customers are beggars for them, the taste of thai thali its horrible mainly the chicken curry,<br/>we also order crab ghee roast that was ok but it could be better.<br/>We had finished our lunch quickly n come out as the staff was behind us its closing time its closing time.<br/>One thing I didn't understand if they are closing then they shouldn't allow customer, management should breaf the staff properly.<br/>They should keep in mind that now a days options are more and customers are less ...

Food was delicious; Service needs to be fastened

If you have a craving for sea food then this place is for you. Do try their pomfret Masala fry & Prawn ghee roast with apam, they were simply delicious. Their Prawn Sukka was a bit below par as their prawn ghee roast had increased our expectations & mutton curry was also good. Don't expect a extra ordinary ambiance, it is just a simple looking restaurant and they were having frequent power cuts. But still a must try place for sea food lovers.

One of my favourite places to go to when I have major fish or mangalorean food craving. The staff is amazin. Food and service both are fabulous . Pundi , fish , ghee roast whatever you order is without a doubt tasty

The food was absolutely pathetic.

Need authentic manglorean food, then this is the place too be. <br/><br/>Love their neer dosas , chicken curry and ghee roast. <br/>You ll always keep wanting for more. <br/><br/>Also you can order food and it does not disappoint. <br/>Service is good and the food is a delight! <br/><br/>Must visit when you have ghee roast cravings

This place has amazing food. Specially the chicken ghee roast and neer dosa. Do have that when you go there. Have heard prawns are good too but my favorite is chicken!

This is. Terrible place . My mother is a vegetarian and we ordered paneer ghee roast for her ... this was a delivery order . There was prawn pieces mixed in the paneer ghee roast. The management didn’t even apologise properly let alone offerering a replacement or refund . This just means they cook paneer and prawn together in the same wok . This is a severe breach of trust . It’s just terrible. .

Awesome seafood, went for lunch time and the crab ghee roast was too yummy and the quantity was also pretty nice so that 2 person can have it easily . Have been there so many times just to take the authentic kundapur Shetty lunch home feel and this place always amazed us.

I have dined a few times at this outlet. I personally love the ambiance and the service .<br/>Best this about this place is that it is one of the best places to enjoy coastal cuisine .<br/>I personally loved pomfret masala. No fishy smell in the dish. And the spice a levels are perfect.<br/>Marwai sukkha in here is simply out of world. Its cooked clean and comes with a good amount of scrapped fresh coconut which adds very good flavour to the dish.<br/>Sanna s are started well and soft. Prawns are cleaned well and then cooked.<br/>I would suggest not to miss on marwai sukha in this place .<br/>
Ann
Go here for their chicken ghee roast and neer dosa, it will never disappoint you. I personally like the chicken ghee roast more than the mutton. <br/>They also have a variety of fish option you can try , it’s a bit pricey but worth a try .
Naven Rajkumar
One of the best seafood places I have ever visited! :D Try out their Prawn Ghee Roast and Crab Sukka, best things ever. Great ambience too and not too pricey.
Diana DBrass
I have always loved this place. My favourite dish to order here is the chicken ghee roast. Hands down, it's the best ghee roast I've had in town. It is to die for. It goes best with appams or neer dosa. Even the squid masala fry is lovely! The caramel custard after your meal is just what you will need. Please visit this place with your friends and families at least once, as it's worth every penny. Highly recommended!! ♥

Yesterday i visited this place as the review was very good but unfortunately it was a very bad experience for me. Being from  mangalore i know the approx price of sea fishes but i was shocked when they charged me 600 Rs for a single piece of seer fish that too very small.  We wanted to order mackerel but when asked he said its unavailable and later after few minutes i saw him taking order for mackerel from next table.<br/><br/>We will not recommend this place to anyone.
Menakarajgopal
Had orderd Neer Dosa, Chicken Pulimunchi, Roti n pomfret fish fry, None of d dishes were gud. First and last visit to this resturant. Not upto the mark. Pathetic Fud. Highly disaplointed. Honestly i wouldnt recomend to any one. Waste of time and money.....

Amazing place to dine.<br/>Must try the ghee roast chicken and prawn with neer dosa. The place provide a very different experience to all who try.<br/>Highly recommend to other

This is one of favourite seafood place in Bangalore. The food is delicious, decently priced with good quality of the food and portion can be shared between two. <br/>Try their Prawn Ghee roast, Anjal fry with neer dosa.<br/>Lovely food, not too spicy or salty, very well balanced and flavoured.
Ezhil Mozhi G
Very good for sea food lovers. If you want to experience the taste of mangalorean cuisine, this is a very good option. I have been here thrice. Good thing is, they have appam, pundi, neer dosa even for lunch. Anjal masala fry is my favorite here. Rava fish fry, squid masala, Chicken ghee roast, ragi manni are also excellent. Fish thali is also good. One let down is the chicken, in some dishes either chicken is under cooked or not as fresh as their fish.
Zeena.pinto
Another seafood joint for the seafoodies 😋<br/>This is near koramangala club and is well known for the varieties of mangalorean delicacies. We ordered crab meat soup which was an amazing way to start. <br/>We also ordered seer fish tawa fry and mackerel masala fry. Both were to their best. Out of which mackerel masala fry was finger licking good. Service was great. Seafood lovers, I suggest you guys to try out this place. You will not be disappointed!

Amazing food..The best place for coastal food.. prawns ghee roast and masala fish fry is amazing.. Ambience is okay..food is served very quickly.. Anupam's Coast II Coast

Had the squid ghee roast, chicken curry, neer Dosa and brown rice. Great tasting authentic manglorean food. Felt like my mom came back from the grave and cooked me a sumptuous meal! The only drawback was the rice quantity is less for two people. Barring that, the food is awesome. Courteous waiters too. Keep it up!

First time tried some Mangalorian cuisine and it was mouth watering. Must try Ghee Roast with neer dosa or appam. Both chicken and prawn Ghee Roast were equally delightful. The taste that you will never forget

Nothing much to boast about the ambience. But oh boy !! When I kept my first Neer Dosa piece in mouth along with Ghee roast chicken, it was heaven 😍😍. Wonderful dish and the combo. Almost everyone at restaurant we're having it. Staff were too polite and helpful. The buttermilk was awesome as well. I would definitely visit again when if I have to travel 1 hour in traffic.

If ur from Coastal side, u will definitely love this place. Coastal food is yummy with the blend of coconut & the spices. Fish will be fresh compared to other restaurants. Prawn & chicken Ghee roast is a must try in this restaurant if you like ghee based food.<br/>Fish meals is also good.<br/>A must go restaurant for coastal food

If you want to have best Chicken Ghee Roast, this is the place to go.<br/>Even Bangalore mirror says the same in one of their articles recently published.<br/>Pair it with neer dosa, it makes it perfect combination.<br/>Decent place, not fancy. I would have given them 5 star if they can work on their ambiance. Food no doubt deservers 5 star.<br/>They have the authentic mangalorean Cuisine.

In my bike trip to Mangalore where I went to shetty's kori roti, I fell in love with chicken sukka. <br/><br/>So I wanted to have chicken sukka in Bangalore so started searching where I can have perfect coastal cuisine and sukka ofcourse. I landed to this restaurant at Koramangla. <br/><br/>Very decent seating area and Ambience. Food were awesome but bit costly and service was good. <br/><br/>We ordered chicken sukka, neer dosa and fish thali. <br/><br/>I must say I was happy and loved the chicken sukka. <br/><br/>Food: 5/5<br/>Cost: 2/5<br/>Ambience : 3/5<br/>Hygiene : 4/5<br/>Service: 4/5<br/>Joy of having coastal food: 5/5 👍🏻

Visited this place after a very long gap on a Sunday afternoon for lunch . To my surprise the place was not all all crowded as before . We had ordered for few poplar dishes like. chicken ghee roast , paneer starter , bamboo schutte , kokam etc . Everything was descent and like super tasty as before . So on the whole the this place can be given a shot , but nothing very special to be expected . But define your try any of their ghee roasts , it’s still the best thing on their menu .
Joe
The Mouthwatering Ghee Roast ❤️<br/><br/>A tiny place, not so amazing ambience but decent place. Well it shouldn’t be your reason to miss out their Mangalorean fish curry and the Ghee roasts (prawns was my favourite). <br/><br/><br/>
Aster Colin Veigas
Good mangalorean food. Tried the ghee roast, kori roti, neer dosa and chicken urwal. The food was amazing and quantity is pretty good as well. Ambience is decent too.
Abhishek Sahoo
This restaurant deserves a 5 star rating just because of its ghee roasts and sukka preparation. The interiors need some refurbishment and the service could be a bit more refined, however all that pales when the excellent food arrives. Prices could be a tad lower.
Anirudh Prasad
Lets start with the ghee roast chicken.I would give it 5/10.Chicken looked very appealing however tasteeise it was okaish. It wasn't spicy, nor had the fragrance of ghee. The real steal was neer dosa..it was reallu very soft and thin..Regarding ambiance and services there is a lot of room for improvement.
Rohith R
Super awesome food. Must try chicken pulimoonchi and white rice .. and prawns ghee roast and neer dosa. Mind the timings and booking is recommended
Manoj Radhakrishnan
Have been here once. The ambience was poor. The fish served was not fresh and we had to order other chicken items. Service was also average and nothing commendable. From a price point perspective this outlet is affordable.
Revati Krishna
This place is my all time favourite for South Indian sea food<br/>Squid ghee roast is what I always order.<br/>Chicken ghee roast is great too<br/>I love the ghee roast preparation. Pair it with appam....<br/>I also tried squid butter garlic which was okay.<br/><br/>This place also serves wine
Kuldeep
Awesome food is served here! Ambience can be definitely neglected of the food served here! :)<br/>Undoubtedly it has to be the chicken ghee roast who stole the dinner night...it was juicy masaledaar n too tasty<br/>Also tried Anjal Masala Fry which was fresh and lip smacking...<br/>Big cheers to the food there..
Remya Nair
Ghee roast and Neer dosa is the best in this place. Ghee roast chicken, mutton, fish and crab are good. So far I feel it serves the best ghee roast in the city. Fresh lime soda along with this dish is a good combination. Must try place
Panchamiblogs
I have been to their Kormangala Branch several times and the food here never disappoints.<br/>I love the Ghee Roast with neer dosa , Kori Rotti, silver fish rava fry, Marwai Sukka (clams sukka). <br/>They have the authentic mangalorean cuisines.<br/>Recently had ordered the Chicken Ghee Roast and Kori rotti from there. Just delicious 😋 <br/>
Arun Vijay
When one of my colleague couldn't take anymore of my jabbering about the chicken ghee roast being served here, we decided to pay a visit to taste and decide.<br/><br/>He took a piece of chapati, wrapped it around a chunk of chicken and rolled it over in the ghee masala before taking a bite. And when he took a bite, he had tears in his eyes as if it had opened the gates of heaven for him.<br/><br/>Coming back to today, I packed some chicken ghee roast, bought few Kerala parotta on the way, added a coke and forgot about the sin I was about to commit :)
Remz
Prawn ghee roast, crab ghee roast, chicken ghee roast!!! Have tried all three and it's just unbelievable how they can make it so tasty!!! Ghee roast goes perfectly with neer dosa.<br/>Their squid chilly is too good as well.<br/>Anjal pulimunchi is good with rice and curd.<br/>Overall, it's a seafood lover's paradise, in Mangalorean style!<br/><br/>The ambience of the place is a major let down. It's stinky. The food is worth 5 stars I must say!
Arun Joby
The food was good enough.<br/>I would rate service good too.<br/><br/>Except the part that you charged 45 INR for softdrink (as mentioned in the menu). The actual MRP on the bottle was 18 INR.<br/><br/>Atleast try to serve better quality softdrink for 45 or charge the MRP as per mentioned.<br/>
Anu B
Ordered Ghee Roast Prawns, rice and chapati, really disappointed with the flavours, m not sure if this is how mangalorean food tastes, but have had way more tastier prawns - Kerala style and Konkan- Maharashtrian style. The gravy consisted of a paste which looked like nothing but red chilli powder and a couple of other spices, that had a burnt like taste, the ghee was overpowering, to me it was just spicy and lacked any other flavours. The chapatis were undercooked and hard. It's definitely a NO to order in again from this place!
Sharukh Mohammed
This is a place pretty famous for sea food. People mostly order neer dosa with their favourite go to items like chicken or prawns with it, we've ordered Ghee Roast Chicken. It was fine cooked with lots of ghee and Neer dosa is soft and subtle for tastes. Ambience was bad and place was bit stinky, nonetheless food was 4 star.
Ziyad Ali
Always felt that sea food in Bangalore has been more expensive when compared to other cities. Nevertheless their ghee roast and neer dosa are to die for. I’ll happily have from here again and again.
Zarah Ahmed
I get food Dunzo'd all the way to HSR layout because it's so damn good!<br/><br/>Personal Favourite - Ghee Roast Crab & Ghee Roast Prawn with Neer Dosa. Just thinking about it now makes me salivate.<br/><br/>I have saved the curry and had it for multiple meals. Absolutely delicious!
Niladri Shekhar Pal
Fantastic mangalore food. Courteous staff. Prawn curry neer dosa and ghee roasts absolutely great to have. Real essence of mangalore cusine. Quite an old place as well...perfect place to skip the crowd and go along with your family.
Aiswarya
This is a go to place for sea food lovers! We had prawns ghee roast, neer Dosa, appam and seer fish fry. Seer fish fry was extremely spicy but a joy to the taste buds. Neer Dosa was soft and fresh and went with the prawns ghee roast. Appam was a bit hard and it could be improved.
Bumblimoose
Amazing Mangalore cuisine . Quiet place in kormangala but due to road construction the place is not easily accessible. Their ghee roast chicken n prawns are amazing. Accompany it with their super thin neer dosa and pundi (which is like Kerala puttu). Easier their host was an elderly gentleman man who was the most sweetest person , but he seems to have retired n I feel the difference in the service now. Had to wait till the end of the meal to get a cup of water.
Arjun Mathai
The prawn/crab/chicken ghee roast with the Neer Dosa is to die for! Club it with a fresh lime soda to complete the meal.<br/><br/>Do remember, you can also order extra masala if you like. The portions are quite big, especially the chicken ghee roast, so I'd recommend to start with a half for two people.
Emmanuel (@bangalorefoodboy89)
Very shady place compared to the one on MG Road. Food tastes the same though so I was okay bout it. The chicken ghee Roast is very tasty but surely unhealthy with the amount of oil/ghee in it 😅
Priayanka
Haven for a sea food lover!!!!<br/>A lil pricey if you ask me and Also a lil small and cramped.. a bit of a let down in this area do minus a point.<br/>It’s has an amazing plethora of see food to select from. The cuisine is southern and is filled with spices which makes it doubly yummy 😋 perfect mangalorean food
Jeffry
This is our first time with one of my friend..we like the Manchurian the taste was yummy but for the maincourse we order one rice and a noodles the test was good but it was a little salty..u can do it better..
Vijesh KE
Just now ordered half Chicken Ghee Roast from here and looks like, on top of the increased price, Cost 2 Cost have changed the packing box to a smaller one and reduced the quantity. Earlier half chicken Roast used to be a large quantity and used to serve 2 persons easily. Today I can see that it’s only half of the packed vessel and can serve just one person !!! <br/>Totally disappointed since this used to be my favourite place.
Priyanka Choudhury
After hearing a lot about this place from my friends we thought of trying this place last night. Baby Corn Ghee Roast was okayish as the baby corn was not cooked well and too much color was added. Neer Dosh and Chilly Chicken were good. Basa Fish curry was too watery. We went to the Koramangala outlet, which is located in the Koramangala Club Road. The chair seat was torn and the walls were dampened. At least they should maintain the place properly as many people who want to try our Ghee Roast dishes always opt for Coast II Coast.
Sunil Anand
Great food.. had the neer dosa with chicken ghee roast. Loved the coastal cuisine. Special mention for their sear fish tava fry and Silver fish curry.. weekends the place is pretty crowded and you will end up waiting for atleast 15 mins.. tad unhappy with the maintenance though..

Food- 4/5<br/>Ambience-3.5/5<br/>Service- 4/5<br/>Price- 3.5/5<br/><br/>If anyone takes name of chicken ghee roast then it has to be Anupam’s coast 2 coast. This is an awesome place to have authentic Mangalorean cuisine. It is located in Koramangala 6th block. The ambience is quite good and fast service. Their fish dishes also awesome in taste. But chicken ghee roast is a must have dish there. <br/><br/>This super food goes only with neer dosa. A full plate of ghee roast is enough for 2 or 3 people. And there price also very justify. <br/><br/>Apart from chicken ghee roast one can try their fish dishes. The anjal fish masala fry is equally good. The prawn sukka is one of their delicacy. One should try this.
Shivangi Chowdhry
Absolutely love their coastal cuisines like prawn curry, Anjali fry and my most favourite bangda tawa fry. <br/>
Vinayak
Extra salt in d food<br/>
Namitha Crazy Foody
Loved the food here. The masala in all the dishes was something that has to be mentioned. Lovely and I am still salivating. Please do try neer dosa one plat 5 pieces they are really small so get ready to order loads for yourself. Sides prawns ghee roast, chicken pulimunji and sia fish. I am still not over the masala I had here. Must visit place for food lovers.
NehaTheFoodJunkie
I’m yet to have a bad meal here! They are so spot on with their flavours. Although the interiors are quite dark and dingy the food makes you forgiving.<br/>Must haves are<br/>- Kori Roti ( the chicken curry comes with it )<br/>- Kane curry<br/>- prawn ghee roast<br/>- Anjal masala fry <br/>- squid butter garlic <br/>- fish thali<br/><br/>Yes quite clearly I’m a seafood lover ;)<br/>

Coast 2 Coast is a famous destination for any Ghee Roast cravings. Located in Koramangala 6th Block just close to Kota Kachori. This is a decently sized restaurant with old decor. The menu here comprises of SeaFood and Ghee Roast but we went here to try their Veg Ghee Roasts.<br/><br/>We ordered the Paneer Ghee Roast and the Baby Corn Ghee Roast along with some neer dosa and Appam. All the Ghee Roasts have the same masala therefore both looked alike. Both were floating with a layer of ghee which gave it a distinctive taste. The gravies are super rich and its impossible for someone to finish off the entire plate of ghee roast (whom am i kidding)! These gravies are best tried with Neer Dosa or Appam. We also had the fresh lime soda and it was decent.<br/><br/>Liked the Ghee Roast but its just too rich and you dont feel like eating the whole day!<br/><br/>The Verdict:<br/>Food/Taste – 6/10<br/>Service - 6/10<br/>Ambiance - 5/10<br/>Value for Money – 6/10<br/>Quantity/Quality – 6/10<br/><br/>Super Rich Food!!

Anupams coast II coast means chicken gee roast.. Definitely different dish to try out in this restaurant.. Taste and quality of food is really great.. Nice ambience.. Service is good..
Aditi Savale
That crab soup, chicken ghee roast, neer dosa...<br/>Almost everything on the menu is a must try here.<br/>I don't eat saunf after eating here just to have that taste on my tongue for long time. The location is very good but ambience needs to be better.
Siddharth Shankaran
Food tasted very chewy and non fresh. Chicken was rubbery and fish was chewy.
Anushree Bhagat
crab was too small. taste was good
Rajesh Shirali
Ordered food on my birthday. Food is ok. Since we eat mangalorean style seafood at home, we didn't find the preparation that great or exceptional. Not a big restaurant if planning to dine-in. Price is reasonable
Pallavi Jaiswal
Perfect seafood in Bangalore. Their crab ghee roast is cooked to perfection, the pundis were amazing. Neer dosa & the fish too. Just the exact blend of the masalas.
Varun Mohan
Try the chicken ghee roast with Neer dosa... Brilliant! You could try the chicken kundapur as well although coupling it with ghee roast might be a bad idea since it's strong flavor tends to mask other dish flavors.

Extremely spicy with no adherence to taste and dish ordered. Not at all worth the money. Face saver could be the appam and neer dosa. The ghee roast and masala curry preparation was identical . Lastly they should be some soda when one orders Sweet and salt lime soda

Ordered fish thali after the reading some recommendations about their sea foods. But totally disappointed.. Thali consists of rice, fish curry, sambar, rasam, fish fry, papad and butter milk.<br/>First of all, they need serious improvement on their packaging.. It is really pathetic.. Few items are packed in plastic container, some directly in plastic pouches.. When you charge for packaging, customer expects neat and tidy packaging.<br/>Coming to food, fish rava fry was good. Sambar was okay with good amount of veges in it. But fish curry was a disappointment. There was literally a thick layer of oil floating.. Becuase they put papad with everything else, it reaches you damp. Overall not a good experience.

Anupam's Coast II coast (COAST 2 COAST) is a chain of seafood restaurants. Well, the coastal seafood is exactly as it should be in coastal Karnataka.. very different from Kerala, Tamil Nadu or even Goa. The ambiance is sober and decent. Minimalistic to needs repair kind of stage. Service is good and quick.<br/>What is awesome is the food...<br/>We had ordered, silver rava fry ( amazingly crispy and crunchy), chicken ghee roast ( flavour of ghee and masalas were awesome, ordered a quarter- 3 pieces) and crab masala fry ( the masala had coconut fried and mixed with a host of other Manglorean spices the main one being red chilly. We had taken appams and neer dosa. Appams were soft, though not as tasty as you get in some Kerala food restaurants. Even Neer dosa was not that great. But overall, it was a good deal. Full plate is too heavy for 2 people, hence exercise caution while ordering..😉

USP- Your search for good sea food made in coastal style especially Mangalore ends here. Delicious fish curries and fish fries. Ghee roast and chicken kundapur.<br/><br/>This is a small joint and from outside you can hardly notice anything. Just a board if you look closely. But don't judge by the looks. The food inside is really good. <br/><br/>The ambience is plain and has an old hotel feeling. Nothing fancy nothing relaxing. Just table with table clothes and comfortable chairs. There is no fish smell or odor which is good.<br/><br/>Coming to food. Sea food is what I always end up eating here. I usually begin with silver fish, small fishes served fried. The choice of frying is either Rawa or masala. I prefer Rawa. They taste really good. Squeeze some tangy lemon on the freshly Rawa fried small silver fishes and you are all set. They serve some 10 small fishes I guess in a plate. <br/><br/>Then you have the other fries as well bangda, Pomfret, etc. Fried according to your choice. They are prepared fresh and hot as per order.<br/><br/>There is chicken ghee roast as well which is famous from kundapur side. It tastes really good.<br/><br/>Main course I order neer dosa and either fish curry or chicken curry or both. The fish curry in coconut is absolutely fantastic. The choice of fish is asked. Same with chicken curry made with spices. The dishes are flavourful and yummy. I usually end the eating spree with plain rice to finish the curry and works really well.<br/><br/>The dishes are prepared on order especially the fish fries. The quantity is good. Pricing is above average. Staff is attentive. Service is little slow considering they prepare when ordered. But beware sea food is costly and premium fish like Pomfret can cost you minimum 500 rupees per plate where as cheap fish like bangda can cost you 150-200. So depends on which fish you choose. It's not overpriced, but the rates follow the general market rates hotels put.<br/><br/>Definitely recommended for sea food lovers from west coast of India. I personally loved the sea food. Atleast one of the good ones in Bangalore if not the coastal side.

I believe the longer u wait to try a new/ oft heard about place, the more dispapointed you will be. That's what Anupam's was to me. I sauntered in on a hot afternoon, the AC offering cool respite. I was starving and the craving for the ghee roast I had heard so much about. As is the case with a lot of places I wanna try, this didn't have Zomato gold (jinxed!)<br/><br/>On first sight, the place doesn't make a great impression. Not much to offer in terms of ambience.<br/><br/>I went straight for the kill. A quarter plate of Chicken ghee roast and a plate of neer dosa. A fresh lime soda to wash it all down. Starting with the soda, it was too sweet. The neer dosa was alright. But I've had much better. It lacked that sort of fluid consistency and it was a little too thick for my liking. Coming to the main event, the ghee roast! Chicken was good quality. And it was well cooked. Quantity of food was very good. Two people can eat a quarter plate. The flavour was pretty good. I know it's called ghee roast, but this thing can easily shave a good couple of months off your lifeline. Now I felt it was a bit bland, lacked a punch. Nice, nothing to rave about though. I would like to try a little spicier and maybe a little less lethal version of the dish. Taste 3/5<br/><br/>Overall I paid around 450 for the meal. Pretty ok considering the amount of chicken n ghee I'd downed. Didn't eat the rest of the day! So good value. 4/5<br/><br/>But I am keen to try other things on their menu. Being a konkani and a hard core ghashshi lover, that's something on their menu I will go back for. And hopefully come back with a better impression.

Anupam’s coast 2 coast boasts of a highly spicy menu. Quoting a 70’s reference, the “chicken ghee roast is the bomb”. The seafood here is of course the show stopper over here. If you’re eyeing for a good seafood meal, then coast to coast is the place to be at. The biggest worry is the service. I hope you’ll improve on that.

better known for the fish they serve. great place to have some tasty sea food. crabs, prawns, seer fish etc.<br/><br/>nothing great about the ambience though. there's a very serious Uncle who takes the order and never smiles :(<br/><br/>we tried the prawn ghee roast, appam and anjal (seer) fry and it was very good. the ghee roast was not that great though, but all the fish were very fresh, specially the seer.<br/><br/>totally recommended it you are a sea food lover. they also serve chicken and mutton as well but never tried those.

Don't judge this place by its looks - looks can be deceptive. So I well skip the bit on ambience. what it lacks on ambience is more than made up by its friendly staff and magnificent food.<br/><br/>We had ordered for crab ghee roast - which is something I have never ventured into before. Am told by my friend who stays in Bangalore, that this is one of the most authentic ghee roasts in Bangalore. This was made in a wonderful concoction of red masala and ghee. You have to taste to understand what this stuff is all about. Nothing that I say will be able to convey the magnificence of this dish.<br/><br/>This we had along with neer dosa & appam. Salted fresh lime helped me down the stuff easily.<br/>Must recommendation for all foodies.
