Review Mish Mash - Bengaluru

gyanendra jha
Located in the heart of HSR layout, Mishmash gave us quite a pleasant dining experience. We ordered a tandoori chicken and chicken steak. Both the dishes were absolutely amazing and out of the world. Tasted amazing. The chicken steak has the perfect creamy taste to it and is served along with mashed potatoes and veggies. We were also served with baby naan as a complimentary dish from the restaurant and even that tasted amazing. Food of this place was absolutely fantastic. Even the ambience and service were fine and upto the mark. It was an extremely pleasant and fulfilling experience

Review by our Team Ghatotkatcha Mishmash, a place in HSR where you really get a bit of everything. As the caption says, they stand to their word, exhilarating fusions on your table from cocktails to food. This place is really a beautiful Mishmash with Cozy interiors and soothing ambiance. Well, the classic cocktails are also given a twist like raspberry mojito sangria, Pineapple coconut mojito, frozen margarita and turmeric old fashioned. One can expect boozy cocktails here. The all rounder is a mocktail and I bet people would love it. Coming to the food, the soups would impress people. Mulakkada Chicken charu is a rasam made with drumsticks and lentils, with small chicken pieces in it, it's delicious. Spicy, yes spicy Thai pumpkin soup is where it's really spicy and the Chef did not lie about it 😉 Tandoori Barwan Mushrooms is beautifully presented, with perfect marination and spice, this is a delight. Lemon grass in a wonton, such a beautiful thought and very well executed, a perfect pair with a boozy cocktail. Spinach and Tofu mushrooms are decent enough. In the main course, we definitely eye for a pizza where achari khiley phool pizza struck us. Pizza, achar and cauliflower was balanced well with lots of Mozzarella. The Telugu tongue in me really loved the veg coriander pesto with set dosa, where pesto and brocolli with a local coriander is infused. Spaghetti has an amazing twist here, where the Rajasthani Rogan Josh is blended will with it. The desserts are a highlight here. I could never believe Khaja will be infused with Kahlua, and it was a boozy khaja, well of course it's a must try here. Kashi Halwa in tarts, something creative and very well executed. The service is good and a good place to hangout with friends and family.

Very nice place. 5* because you can get a place to sit most of the time. Food and service is really good. Also you can get plenty of space on the road to park your vehicles.

Located in hsr which is a new happening place in Banglore, two stories building this place has cozy interior decor and ample of space for seating. They have varieties of signature mock tails in their menu apart from the regular long list of hard drinks. Tried bloody merry , Dinner and Dance from the list. Coming to starters, tried mushroom dim sum , paneer tikka and fried tried murg tikka. Food was amazing delicious, staff is courteous and friendly. In main course we have tried Rajma paneer raseela ki sabji with butter naan, achari khile phool pizza, cream of mushroom shooters. Must try their unique desserts. We tried their sheer kurma bullet and loved it. Overall good experience with classy ambiance and friendly staff. All the items we tried were delicious.

A wonderful experience spent on a Sunday afternoon. We had milkshakes and sangria for the drinks. Soup, paneer tikka, Tandoori Gobi , panner steak-, stuffed mushrooms, dahi tikki, raw papaya salad, phirni and chocolate cake. The Service is a bit slow. But that's fine when you get to eat some delicious food.

The iconic HSR eatery Mishmash is now at new location. Spread over two floors , it is Known for its assortment of dishes , the new menu here retains the old classics like Jack Daniels Chicken , Kori Gassi and others along with the newly introduced dishes. Do also check out their daily Drinks offers during the weekdays. My picks here are Spicy Thai Pumpkin soup with Chicken , Mushroom soup shooter , Harissa grilled lamb with desserts like Sheer kurma bullets and blueberry cheesecake.

Really enjoyed the ambience. The decorations are on the walls are tasteful and the lighting is decorative. The combo options in the menu like platter and noodles and rice combos are really delicious and can be shared by two people.

After a fabulous launch, MishMash the popular watering hole in HSR just reinvented itself by moving to a new place across two floors and a fantastic new range of crafty cocktails and new improved menu that I got to sample on a recent visit. Before we go on to how great the revamped bar and food menu was, I love the fact that they have three variants of every cocktail and mocktail on the menu. Shooter | Regular | XL [Pitcher], which lets your sample a few, pick up a favorite and expand it to a pitcher to share it with your buddies, now thatz what I call a superb idea. I started of with a Strawberry Mule, a beautiful concotition of Vodka, Strawberry Puree, lime juice and angostura bitters topped with ginger ale, fabulous and fantastic. The balance of the sourness with three sour elements was just perfect and beautifully complimented. The Nui and Nui shooter, which eventually became my favourite, was a nice mix of Gold Rum, cranberry and lime juice, sweetened with sugar syrup and spiced up with a bite of sichuan pepper, very soon saw me migrate to the regular size, soon after. The Rasam Iced tea, essentially your humble rasam, topped with a bit of iced tea and spiked with some dark rum, tomato juice and tabasco, an interesting try, but I was happy being stuck to the shooter and did not move further. The Tamarind Whisky Sour, was a classic, made interested by an addition of light tamarind paste, topped off with some bourbon, made a very interesting choice for the experimental crowd. With a few starters coming off our way, i personally loved the Palak Makai seekh, which was a well balanced indian starter that will satisfy your indian cravings, so did the loaded papdi nachos, a desi twist to mexican nachos, and the Tandoori Bharwan (stuffed) mushrooms, chargrilled to perfection and an absolute delight. The Shahi makhani Paneer tarts, was again a good fusion, well made riche panneer in a makhani sauce, filled in a beautifully baked, flaky tart baskets. moving away to a slight taste of chinese, the Vegetarian Spring Roll, was just well made and I bet no one can eat just one. The Mediterranean platter had an interesting, crispy, baked pita bread triangles with an interesting and unheard black channa hummus, labneh, toum, babaganoush, that made for an interesting side to an interestingly fluffy breads. For maincourse I loved the simple taste of Greenday Pizza, with a nice overload of not just cheese, but some great vegetables in a cheesy bed. The blanched baby spinach, with loaded veggies brought in a melange of flavours that were simple yet awesome. The Veg Balchao with Uttapam, which was more like a kal dosai, was decent and the curry was very well made with a bit of spicy hit. The Dingri Mutter Hara Pyaar, was an interesting twist for the Butter Naan, and the Burnt Garlic fried rice with veg ball manchurian brings in the perfect chinese meal in a bowl comfortness. The Rajma Paneer Raseela Biriyani was a bit let down, with the humble Rajma Chawal, trying to pose itself as a Biriyani, with a paneer infusion, and could not justice to itself as neither. Too overloaded with lunch, I requested if a sampler portion of the recommended desserts is something that I could try, which was happily obliged with a sample portion of the Kasi Halwa Tart and a Kahlua Khaja. The Kasi Halwas had a rich treatment, trying to become almost a gajjar halwa, thankfully the sweetness of the pumpkin saved this dish into a beautiful dessert, unlike its raw original. The Kahlua filled khaja was an interesting twist to this Kakinada special, very interesting, very new and very original. Though I haven't visited this place in its former glory, the new menu definitely is very promising and is already making me plan my next visit after my holy month of vegetarianism ends, in a few days. I loved the indian twists, but what would make me come back again and again, and with more greed would be the Thai dishes, the Spicy Thai Pumpkin soup is something that I could eat as a meal, and less of a soup

HSR doesn't have too many pub options and Mishmash has been around for a long time. They have shifted location and are now on the opposite side of the road. Spread over 2 floors, including a rooftop, Mishmash is your friendly neighbourhood pub with decent food and a variety of all the regulars at very decent prices. Did try some of their signature cocktails and I would recommend the Nui Nui with extra chilli. I would recommend would be their lemongrass chicken dimsums and the tangdi mumtaz in starters and their Stuffed Chicken in Mushroom and Red Wine sauce in mains. For desserts, the Sheer Kurma bullets are a must have!

Went to Mishmash Restropub in their new avatar. The ambience has definitely improved for the better and so has the food. I am listing only the ones I loved from the curated menu that was set for us. Cocktail Nui Nui (with sichuan chilli), - Easily my favourite after I requested them to add more chilli 📷:D Soup Mullakada Charu (Lentil Drumstick Soup) - Not the typical andhra flavors of the drumstick Starters Lemongrass chicken dimsun - great with subtle flavors coming in, Tangdi Mumtaz (chicken drumsicks) - The marinade was nice Teriyaki Tofu wontons - Really nice and crunchy Main Course Stuffed chicken breast with mushroom and red wine sauce The chicken was quite good and the sauce provided the moistness - Decent Mutton Dalcha roast - I liked this one for the flavors. Desserts Sheer Kurma Bullet - This dish was a show stopper. Absolutely divine with the sweetness just right.

Nice space and great ambience this place has. I particularly like the terrace area. Good for lunch as well as dinner and enough space to accommodate groups. I liked the grilled food here the most. The service is decent too. Overall worth a visit
Disha Dugar
Amazing place for an evening drink n food! Especially in the Bangalore rains!
Girish Sontakki
Liked the food and ambiance here, but be aware of insects while u dine in the gallery area of the restaurant

This is a nice Restobar locates in HSR Layout, a part of the Sudarshan Enterprises Group. This place has a good ambience and very courteous staff. We visited here for a Sunday afternoon lunch and loved the experience here.
Deb Dey
Loved the food and the drink. Reasonably priced and good locale for a nice evening out with friends.

A nice place to hangout and sit and eat some cool food here yum yum & delicious the staff were nice and we sat on the first floor which was the open area! Loved the ambience and the food, we ordered variety of dishes and tasted all of them.

#food #foodlover #foodblooger #foodie #foodphotography #indianfoodblogger #bengalurufoodblogger #foodforlife

The ambience was great especially with Bangalore weather it complements very well. You can spend a quiet dinner while looking over the road if you sit on top. The variety in food is Impressive but the taste could improve a bit. Overall, the ambience is memorable but the taste, not so much
Nikhil Pandit
Please avoid if you can. The is dumb and rude. They don't serve coffee inspite of having it on the menu. Had an argument around it. The place looks run down. Bad experience.

One of the worst places ever visited ambiance a let down, not maintained place

Coming to service which was a disaster the person attending is lack on communicating and served us the wrong order

Food was nothing great either

Plenty to work on to be more upbeat

A bad choice of visiting this place
Ronalds David
Been to Bangalore for a work seminar and was here for a team dinner and the place was selected by my local colleagues which was a big hype, but I want to mention that this is one of the worst places for having a good time.

The service is so slow and sad the team is not trained and are lost for even attending to the simple of things like giving the menu serving water. The place is run by shabby persons who don't know the meaning of customer service

The food quality is pathetic take such a long time to serve a starter and even when it's served the waiters are un aware of what is being served. And no one is ready to give a hear to our requests .

And worst is the ambiance and lousy music to add to our dinner outing

Won't recommend this place to anyone and will not visit ever again
Manindra Ranjan
The place used to be good but now it is in shambles ! Flies flying around , ac not working not even fan . Service is really pathetic ! The food quality has too detiorated by large !
Pallav Saraswat
Serving Continental dishes, have visited it couple of times. Service is extremely poor , food is above aevrageg. Elaborated food and drinks menu.

But a bit expensive considering overall experience.

Ashish Gupta
It was not as expected. Ambience is average - the only good sitting area is the portico on the first floor. Food quality was average. Drinks are inexpensive as compared to other places.. On top of that we got 50% discount on drinks through dineout - so made the experience average to good.
Dhania
We had the worst experience. The food was not up to the mark and the staff are so unorganised and unprofessional. It was so disappointing and a real waste of money. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
Bishwajitm410
Been to MishMash few days back and had a few starters, food is good but there is no hygiene sense taken into consideration. Ambiance is pathetic and we are greeted with big rats running on the floor and ledge inside the seating area. Hence i am giving 1 rating.
Aashish Bagaria
Went to the restaurant basis good reviews and past experience however the current experience was worst. 1) Table was available however asked us to wait and gave the table who came after us. 2) Took 15 mins just to take orders and order was served after asking multiple times that too cold. I believe place is not good to handle if it’s full as no enough staff.

Worst experience ever
Keshav Nagar
Great location, good food. Horrible service all around. Had to nudge 5 times for each order and beg. Worst of all bill came unaligned. Guys fix the service before it gets too late. All the best.

Mishmash is a very cosy place and relaxed to just go sip on chilled beers with some soulfod on any afternoon.
Had a variety of things and couldn't ask for better.
Their Bruschettas were simple, light and crispy and full of flavour.
Indulged in some Kashmiri Dum aloo and rotis which were sinful with oodles of butter. Their food was cooked to perfection and the flavours and taste was brilliant.
Their pork was another story- Brilliant.

Must visit... 10 on 10

This was our regular place for Friday afternoon beers n burgers, used to go there from office with friends. Love the staff and the ambience there. One of the early hangouts we had in HSR. Still love the place and still visit there quite often.
Priya Jain
Have been to Mishmash couple of times. Love thee alfredo pasta and chicken pizza. Food is good. Prices are bit on higher side. Service is OK. 4 start for the food only. If you have time go there and enjoy the good food. If you are super hungry and cant wait much, then the place may not be right for you
Remz
We went there around 10. The non smoking area was empty. Ordered a soup, peanut egg mixture, paneer malai tikka, pork chilli, prawn ghee roast and phulka. Also, some drinks.
The soup was really bad. One of the friends had requested for a soup for his cold. It turned out to be a disaster.
The peanut egg mixture(no idea what's it called) which was basically for the drinks was okay. Decent!
The paneer malai tikka was again decent I guess. Not sure coz I didn't taste it. But my little one seemed to have enjoyed it.
Pork chilli, my friends told me the pork chilli was not great. It's actually a Coorgi preparation. But, they said it's supposed to be cooked with fat, which was not the case with this dish.
Prawn ghee roast, the dish I was looking forward to. And it was yet again another disappointment. The prawn was undercooked. The ghee roast masala didn't taste anything like an actual ghee roast which is a Mangalorean speciality.
The phulkas were good.

I had plans to go to some other place and saw this place beside. I thought of trying out this
new place and thank god i made the right decision. I tried shangria, which was very nice. Food was also very good. Overall reasonable and good place.
Vittal Narayan
I ordered mutton Rogan Josh from them on 8th Jan for lunch. The dish consisted of gravy and bones with barely any meat. I don't understand how their chef(s) can allow these pieces of mutton to be passed on to customers especially considering how much charged for the dish (360). I ended up ordering food for lunch from another restaurant.
Namitha Crazy Foody
After 5 years of being in Bangalore tried this place for the first time. Chicka and Budha were very helpful. Great food. We ordered chicken roast for starters , chicken cream soup. Loved the taste. Main course was garlic naan and tandoori butter chicken . Somehow there's saffron taste in everything so that must be their usp. Will visit here soon

This place was always in my list. It gives a very casual look from outside, it has an open view, big screen for sports lovers.

There is a cricket match, a rooftop restaurant with beer n chicken. What an amazing thought na ;)

They have got very good service. Amazing staff they have.

They have got delicious cheesy fries, and they recommended one chicken pizza which was very delicious.

I recommended my friend to go for colada mocktail. More than our beer we liked the colada. It was very tasty. Do try.

I had very god experience there.
Ayusmita B Choudhury
Excellent dining experience. One of the best place to go for authentic north indian cuisine. There are lot of dishes which were good..specifically liked bhuna masala chicken wings, nizami handi veg, daal palak and chicen e rogan! Awesome test and very good staff. Thanks Ban for serving us so well with your pleasant smile!

Good food. On a expensive side. The view from rooftop is the main road. Has good menu for all. Try the burgers they are quite finger licking. They have a/c sitting area too in case you dont want to sit in open. Basement sitting is little boring. A good place to hang around or meeting.
Dinesh Rawat
I have been to this place Couple of times with my friends. Liked their LIIT's and Mohito.

Good place for finger foods to much alongside your drinks. They should increy depth in their mains and starters ..now they have stiff competition around HSR layout.
Varsha Gopalkrishna
This place is a peaceful Sunday kind of place. Located is the main road, this is right next to hangover.
We ordered Nachos, American corn crisps and tangy potatoes. The drinks are of standard and you have a lot of options on this side as well. Their chena dumpling in makhni sauce is a different dish. they have the rasgullas which is not sweet. This tasted average though.
If you are looking for a good mood and to pump you up, this place is definitely to be chosen on any evenings. The dim lights makes you feel so peaceful.
Sreejit
Pathetic place and pathetic service. Stay clear.
Neither the server nor the manager has any clue about any thing.
They took over 30 mins to even serve drinks, the place seems to be run by interns.
Srinivas Patnaik
Had ordered mutton sheet kebab and a chicken dish. The kebab was bad with the spices not mixed well. It was evidently a rush job. Expect better next time
Vibha Rathore
It’s very pleasant place, we can spend a quality time with our family, ambience is good. Don’t go for pizza it was not so good. Rest was good.
Ishita Gautam
Food quantity was ok but service is pathetic. Staff is not trained and the overall experience was very bad. To make matters worse, they made errors in billing as well. Spoilt my evening.
Siddhant Yojit
It's very good place to hangout with your friends and family. Food is very delicious and ambience ok
I have been here 5 to 6 times ...it's a multi cuisine restaurant
Ashwin Singhania
Clicked out with a thought of organising party to my friends, This place helped me to make my party memorable and much exciting. The staffs over there presented me a superb decorations which was Hats Off to there... Covering up the hospitality of them was too humble and impressive. We went through the multiples of Mocktails and Cocktails, the taste of each we realized with a sip only. Above that the combination of those drinks we're saluted by the mouthwatering starters. Great time spent over there. Worth of money and the most important is that you can feel the friendly environment over there.. Will recommend if you really wanna feel the taste and if you are a foodie...

I had visited Mishmash last Saturday with my family. We ordered Mughlai starters, lasagne, pizza and lamb chops among other dishes. I Must say the food was delectable, my entire family thoroughly enjoyed the food and ambience of the place.
R Chandra
It was a perfect Friday evening for me and my family at Mishmash. The long island ice tea was well made with just the right amount of alcohol. The Tandoori Barra kabab left us licking our fingers. My family thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

Bad service, expensive and low hygiene standards. Also please read zomato all reviews rather than popular reviews to know the truth. Better explore new places in town
PK
We had the worst experience here. We found a cockroach in our naan and not only was the staff unapologetic about it they made bad remarks to us when we said that we won't pay for the food. It seemed like finding a cockroach wasn't a big deal at all and all they could offer was replacement for our naan! The manager behaved badly with our team and they were so casual about the issue.
NOT GOING THERE EVER AGAIN! and if you are fond of cockroaches in your food please go ahead!
Richa Sinha
One of the worst experiences ever!! Visited mishmash today with colleagues for a farewell party. It was going fine until we ordered lunch and found a fried cockroach in the garlic Naan ordered. Much to our surprise when we showed it to the staff head, he wanted to vanish with the plate as if nothing has happened. When we called the store manager he reverted saying he will replace the piece!! It clearly showed they had no protocol to handle such situations. We were already feeling quite disgusting as we strongly had a feeling that the food we already ate might also have had issues.
We clearly told the manager we will not be paying for anything and he was OK with the same as there were other customers around.
However when we came out of the restaurant he started asking for our name and contact number and when we refused to give the same asking why does he want that, he started screaming at us saying we made a fuss out of nothing and happily enjoyed free food!!!
It's so shameless on behalf of the restaurant manager to be so unapologetic and treat this issue so casually.
Won't recommend this place to any near and dear one of mine!
Anushka Sharma
The worst staff ever.Butter Naan had cockroaches fried into it.
When highlighted to the Manager ge did not let us take the pic and was too rude and didn't even apologize.

Don't go here or check your food thoroughly to avoid chances of eating some insects.
Shankar Tharoor
Went on a Saturday night with friends..Pathetic ambience , and no much options for spirits ... even though menu card says everything available , waiter will us which one is available ... some old music was playing in the background along with a old cricket match ... kindly avoid if you are looking for a memorable hangout
Sudeep
Good food.

Service and the ambient noise left us unwanted and unsettled.

Definitely avoidable if a quiet and stress free dinner is what one is looking for.
Prasad Pai
Ambience and seating was good. But, food was a lot overpriced. Ghee Roast nowhere close to the original. Ifeel the prices need to be reduced to maybe half, especially with Hangout (another similar place) opened nearby.
Rajesh
Restaurant has nice location and ambience. I had been regular diner here , however off late the quality of the food has gone down. Had a lunch here today and none of the dish was up to the mark. Italian minestrone soup was like desi sweet tomato soup and chicken was very dry ... Service also was very slow...Not a great experience...
Aditi Jaisia Singh
Lovely food and ambience. Their pink sauce pasta is one of the best that I have had. The staff is very courteous and ensures that diners have a pleasant dinning experience.
Stuti Agarwal
Landed to this place on a Friday evening with office friends coz the decided place had no space for us. :p , but the place did not disappoint and although the ambience was not great, it was decent enough for a group of people who have to chill out and have a nice chat. So a thumbs-up to that.

We ordered few starters like Nachos, Crispy chilli potato ( A must try- I loved the spice flavour this dish offered and it went so well with my Tuborg)

We also ordered few Non-veg starters like Chicken wings ( One desi masala and the other in Barbecue sauce- Personally I liked both but Barbecue one should appeal to most of the non vegetarians)

Go to the place for a nice chilled out evening.
Sarah Ayesha
Mishmash, a fusion restaurant serving a multitude of cuisines. A rainy day and perfect for sitting in the semi open area on top. The ambience is good. It is like a duplex and eat floor and area is themed differenly to add to the 'mishmash'. Thoughtfully segregated seating according to the kinds of crowd. Smart move.

Right off the bat, the hospitality and service was excellent, warm and kind. We ordered 2 starters and one mains.

For starters we had :

Paneer Tikka (4/5)
Absolutely delicious! Love the mint chutney. Quite spicy, full of flavour and soft paneer.

Mushroom Pepper fry (4/5)
Extremely good taste. Hot and the mushroom was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Mushroom and pepper can never go wrong.

For mains, we had :

Veg Biryani (3.5/5)
Of course, Veg biryani is never a popular choice, but we didn't feel like eating non veg so we went for this. Although it was loaded with veggies. I feel like the browned onions on top should have been more moist and browned better. Secondly, something was missing. I couldn't quite pinpoint what it was. But, it was something you could eat nevertheless. The portion size was enough for 3 people.

Absolutely loved the prompt and attentive service above all. Will definitely go there to try the other stuff. Do recommend :)

Rara mutton was so badly cooked from such reputed restaurant was unbelievable.Sure will not order next time.
Ivan Castellino
Mishmash is a nice lil place in HSR, I’ve tried a few things here and to me their continental food is good the rest of it is pretty average but like every place one must know what to order else you’ll order something the restaurant doesn’t specialise in

For instance I’ve tasted Goan fish curry here (it was only to try a lil something other than my usual order which is a pasta) and the fish curry base was ok ok but the spoiler was the bahasa fish I mean I know this fish is cheap as a raw material and I understand why one would use it in the dish but the fish totally destroys the taste and flavour of the Goan fish curry, at the very least use Mackerel it’s still a sea water fish

But if you stick to the basics and order mostly continental stuff like pastas, spaghetti, butter garlic prawns, lasagne etc you’ll be ok
Namrata
I would have been happy if my orders were not declined. I am very disappointed because I was looking forward for weekend to start with good note. I would like to know the reason for it.
Dhrupad V
too much cottage cheese

I went to this place last week with a friend ,the set up of the place is good, I did like the place. The service was impeccable and the food was good with not much option. We were made to feel welcome and our meal was very reasonably priced.
Eswanth Kumar Reddy
One of those places with the stupidest of music playing in the bg, apparently they can't do anything about it. They have no control over there own music system. They can't change the music nor control the volume... BTW am requesting them to reduce the volume cause of how unbearable the music is and their chicken ghee roast sucks. Avoid this place if you wanna have a good overall experience.
ARUNA SREENIVASULU
Fish curry is in mangalorian style but i ordered goa style.Except fish pieces gravy is very bad
Sidhartha
the coftas are so hard that have to just eat with gravy only. very dissatisfied

Nice place with great ambience. Ordered lasagna and Shepherds Pie and the food was nice. Loved the drinks too. Would love to be back during the day to check out the terrace seating during daylight.
Abha Jhunjhunwala
Nice place. Walked in with a friend and sat at the open seating. We ordered Manhattan and Negroni for drinks. Both were well made with perfect alcohol levels.
We ordered a side of chilli cheese garlic bread that was a tad cold. Pizza was thin hot and yummy. Blueberry cheesecake was okayish.

I would come back for there drinks ! Anytime

Variety of food from all cuisines....good place..seating area according to people as rooftop, indoor, bar area etc...
i liked the food..service was good... the place is not that loud bit definitely an option for good hangout.

Food was alright and the ambience is average of this place, the chicken with bbq sauce is a good one.The overall food quality and the experience was ok ok
JC
This place stood as one of the recommendable place in HSR. Went there several times. The ambiance and food are decent enough. Even In peak times service stood the same as usual.
Divya Madar
This place does not even deserve 1 star. The ambience, food, service- EVERYTHING SUCKS. We ordered Paneer Bhurji and Dal Tadka. Sadly, it was as bland as probably jail wood and tasted pathetic. The plates were unclean and so was the place where we sat.
Do not waste your time and money here.
Arun Palaniswami
biryani taste like shit
Smita Jaiswal
Truly a mishmash, varied food items from different cuisines. And yes, multiple seating areas for all kinds of crowd. Chilled out place, with good food but pathetically slow service!
Ravikant Yadav
Polite and welcoming staff. Neat and quiet ambience. The best part was the open house sitting arena on the first floor. Soup was good, could have been a bit better though. Food was fantastic. Loved it.
Krishna
nice paneer tikka, soft and adequately grilled in tandoor. spice, a bit on milder side but offends none.
MAYANK MAKKAR
I visited this place with quiet an expectations. It was full outside on roof top, hence we were seated inside. We ordered for Dahi tikki, this is awesome. However the Chicken Peri Peri burger was not upto the mark. Chicken patty inside was stinking. Overall its an ok ok place for indian dining
Ankur Sethi
The place has a nice ambience and the quality of service and food was very good. Been here with family a couple of time and always had a great experience. Clearly in the top few options for us whenever we visit Bangalore. Keep up the good work!
Njosephnishanth
Ordered for delivery via Zomato - The chicken ghee roast and neer dosa.
The 2 stars ive given is only for the neer dosa. The chicken ghee roast wasnt even close to the authentic mangalorean one (As they claim) and to top it, it has resulted in a very bad tummy for my family. The chicken pieces were stale and the recipe itself was so out of place! Very bad experience with Mish Mash. Or maybe i ordered the wrong stuff.
Nikita Duggal
The service can definitely be improved. Food quality is good but not really worth the price. Rates of alcohol is exceptionally high as compared to the ambiance of the place. Place gives a very low vibe. A lot of improvement is needed!
Mujtaba Karim
Went there for a Sunday dinner. The place is okay. The ambience was normal compared to other restaurants in the area. If you are a non smoker you cannot sit at the top which I thought was better than the ground floor place where we sat. The staff was fine. I had to call for them 2-3 times before getting a response. But they did a decent job of making sure to get us what we wanted. Coming to the food. We had ordered Almond infused Chicken soup and Manglorean Ghee Roast Chicken for Staters. Both of them had a nice taste. Very Indian. But I thought the soup should have had been a tad bit more thicker. Because at times it reminded me that I was having diluted curry of some normal Chicken Dish. And the Manglorean Chicken Ghee Roast was very very spicy. Although it was great but then little bit low on spice would have been better. For the main course we had ordered Chicken Stakes. I have a weakness for Steaks. Here it was food but had a lot of Indian touch to it. For the first time I ate Steaks with bones. And that too as I said had Indian touch to it. But I liked it. It was something new. So nice there. For drinks they did not have a lot of stuff mentioned in their menu. They didn't had any Milkshakes or Fruit punch. Though they gave us a customised Fruit punch since they didn't had the original one. This had Strawberry Crush Syrup, Mango Juice and Coke to top it up. This was again the first time I had tasted a combo of these. Lastly the great disappointment was Desserts. They didn't had either Blueberry Cheesecake or Belgian Chocolate Cake. Hence we had to settle without having Desserts. A tad bit disappointed since many things were missing from what we had ordered.

Food - 3.5/5
Ambience - 3/5
Service - 3/5
Value for Money - 3/5
Overall - 3/5

This is a nice little place in the center of HSR layout. Though it is just a km from my home, had not visited it in the past. Went there last night for dinner. The food (baby corn pepper fry, hummus, Pasta Al pesto) were all really good. I will give a 5/5 for food. The ambiance of the place is just ok, roof top decor could be better. Service could be better, once served they didnt follow up if we needed any thing more.

Cold drinks were served luke warm. Food was cold as if it was stale. The cheese on pizza was like on a stale pizza. The service was very unprofessional, had to serve food on my own and even remove used plates from the table on our own to make place. They didn’t even have a cold bottle of drinking water. Very sad thinking about the fact that how do people run such restaurants, doesn’t it hurt them to loot people of their money providing such poor quality of service?

Went to this restaurant today for lunch... in the photos ambience looks quite good however on entering didn't like the ambience at all... also the service is too slow. Ordered chicken wings which they mentioned was unavailable... then ordered tandoori chicken and fruit punch... tandoori chicken was okay and fruit punch didn't have mashed ice... this also took half an hour to be received.. after that ordered lasagne which was also okay okay...
I dont think would go second time to this restaurant

The food quality has gone down apparently I had a sweet chicken Tikka masala.... It was told to me that the fish that Iam ordering is seer wherein it turns out to be bassa sad it is. The service level was so poor that the drinking water arrived post 30 mins of our arrival to the restaurant..... Had to follow up thrice for a beer mug!
Hope they will improve in future all the best!

Hummus with kubbus😋 Chicken Satay and a little costly biryani.
This place has good outdoor seating and cool breeze at evening to hangout with friends.

Lahore malai kofta was not fresh. the paneer filling in kofta was sour and bad.

This place is a good rooftop ambience with match screening. The service is a bit slow here. Food is decent but slightly overpriced. Good place to hangout with a group of frnds or family.

Nice space and great ambience this place has. I particularly like the terrace area. Good for lunch as well as dinner and enough space to accommodate groups.
I liked the grilled food here the most. The service is decent too. Overall worth a visit...

Saturday night & bored, so decided to grab a couple of drinks. Thought Mishmash was a restaurant never knew they served drinks. Then checked zomato and got to know.We took a table in the rooftop. The atmosphere was pleasant & calm. Has some Irish whiskey and got lost in thoughts.

Crunchy fungi
Crunchy balls stuffed with mushrooms, paneer and filled with cheese at the top. I would rather say it is a signature dish of Mishmash. Loved it.

Baby corn pepper fry - Good, there is nothing to brag about.

Service becomes slow as the crowd increases.

Nice place to chill on a weekend.

over rated. full cheating. very high price. drinks are bad. never going to come here. barley's much better than this place. not happy with the drinks and food.

Average ambience. Good variety in the menu. Generous portion sizes, well priced. Panko coated prawns were good, so was bruschetta. Stay away from the white sauce pasta: it's more like pasta in warm milk and the pasta was overcooked as well. Mutton Biryani was decent. Overall it's an average place. Wouldn't really feel like visiting again.
Great food. Lousy service. Good ambience.
There is a lot of scope of improvement in the service levels in the restaurant.
A few dishes were refreshingly different in treatment and taste.
Try the terrace section

Apart from waiting 45-60 mins for everything you order, the place is good. The place has no mechanism to track orders I guess. Food is decent, call and check before visiting if you are like beer because they have only selected few available.

I went to this place to celebrate my bday with my husband. First of all seating is a major problem here. I wanted outdoor seating but it was full of smoke.
Then we moved to non smoking zone, believe me it felt like Am sitting in fish market.
Again we moved back to open seating area. Luckily got corner table with road view.
My husband ordered chicken sizzler and I took veg sizzler.
Veg sizzler was ok but instead of putting all veggie it was more like carrot sizzler.
Overall I didn’t like it much and might not go back also .
Staff is friendly but only this is not enough when we go to eat at a restaurant.

Ordered crumb fried fish which was too greasy and oily .Fish was bland just drenched in oil .Very disappointed. However the french fries accompanying was good and the only saving grace .

One very peculiar thing that I saw here was the extremely small size of very thin fulka rotis for a price on the expensive side. Food was just okay taste wise and is sure quite pricey. Also, for some reason one of the waiters was in a rush to get our table empty. He kept coming around to ask if we're done. Quite strange as the restaurant was hardly even 30% full. Overall, weird experience.

It is an average place to have a beer with a good company. Food was just ok and did not have many varieties of pizza(especially veg). Cocktails are good and alcohol is served at cheaper prices here. Ambience and food is just kind of average.

Dal khichadi was good. Chicken wings was slightly sweet.

The delivery was great.. food was blend taste-wise

Its quit an average place..Ambiance was ok..but the food was very average..Alcohol prices are really cheap compare to other restaurant..i think that was the only good thing about this restaurant..they have very less no of staff which resulted in slow service..

The rooftop seating is good...seemed to be a bit understaffed which resulted in slow service...can't say if that was a day specific or is usually that way....we ordered a chicken starter which was good...Malai prawns was nice too but what was really disappointing was their quantity....for a 495/- dish all we got was 5pcs of prawns! We felt badly cheated....
Chicken biryani was good...had ordered mocktails which was just average...not all that great...

Good food and ambience. Quantity is decent so I’ll share that review

Suggestion: too much ice in cocktails. Keep those mosquito led lights to ensure guests are not harassed by them

Feedback: do not insist on sharing mobile number and then making it a trick to redeem zomato gold. Customers don’t need to share mobile numbers to redeem gold. There’s an OTP.

Otherwise good experience and would visit again.

Decent place. Slightly overpriced. Food is decent. Went there for team lunch (office). Took much time to serve the food, that is one thing they can work upon.
Daksha Bopanna
Cute and Cozy place, but that was about the only thing good about this restaurant, other than the Crispy Fungi (cheese and mushrooms). Ordered Grilled Chicken with lemongrass and chicken in Jack Daniels sauce, didn't like either was the chicken was very overcooked. Overall, I don't think I'll come back here 😶

Worse food I have ever eaten I couldn't even figure out of it was mutton or chicken... The naan was Soo rubbery it was total waste of money... I could have rather eaten Maggie at home...

Delicious nachos... I liked that place a lot. Must visit. It's quite expensive but worthwhile.

They have open and closed sitting area. Nice ambience.

Pros: Nice rooftop area; good starters
Cons: awkward table arrangement - too many cramped up in a small area; The most common Indian food item - Paneer wasn't available; the waiter informed that 'Dum Aloo Kashmiri' is a medium spicy dish but it so spicy that throat started burning (nothing could be spicier); one of the waiter started clearing the plate without asking (when food was still there in the plate); slow service for water service - had to ask for it many times.
