It's a ambient restaurant with a theme of a military base camp, hence the name hunger camp. You'll find lot of accessories and interior matching a military base camp. Coming to the food, I had vegetarian food and they have a good spread. The soup was good and starters were delicious too. We had a bit problem for parking vehicle, call them in advance and they can help you with parking location. They don't have valet parking.
The theme is new and interesting. With guns and ammo hanging around, this place gives a feel of an army camp. The staff is helpful and get into the spirit of this place. We get to take pictures with the settings and enjoy a nice meal! A good place to go with you family.
Awesome tasty food with çool ambiance and very friendly staff, They have guns and armored showpieces which you can put on and take pictures. The food and the portions were good. Pricing is reasonable. Limited parking. Tasty and delicious. Must try!
Somehow I really liked the concept of this restaurant. They want to give the tribute to the soldiers of this country and the theme is exactly saying the same. The food is also good. In starter we had crispy honey chicken and murgh malai tikka. Then in main course we ordered the butter kulcha and murgh makhani. Both the items had proper butter flavour and that's something really attractive for me.
In dessert I ordered sizzling brownie with ice cream. This was kind of average. But overall the service and the ambiance was quite different from other places in Bangalore.
Lovely little place with a unique concept and delicious food. Great for a family meal outing.
And must try the sizzler, food is so delicious proper North Indian style , flavours are well blended must try, they take Magicpin too
As popularity among the theme based restaurant is ever increasing, people prefer different cuisines with colorful ambiance which is different from normal restaurants. One such themed restaurant is Hunger Camp, themed on Army. Yeah! The theme not just includes army costumes, they have basement designed like bunkers, salt and pepper container designed like bomb and the best part is they let you try the costumes. It’s quite interesting and i visited on independence, the theme was perfect for the occasion.
Ambiance is nice but service is slow
Best place to hang out with great food and army war camp interior concept ....finally food with patriotic feelings...the people serve food very good n friendly best place to eat in banglore..
Hunger camp is one of the best family restaurants in JP Nagar, Bengaluru. The ambience of restaurant is very unique, based on military theme. Kids will enjoy a lot. The seating arrangement, lights, menu, ambience is based on military theme. The food is very good, less oily and pricing is decent. The staff are very courteous, service is fast. If you are in a large group ask for basement setup, which is more kick-axx. The only problem is limited car parking and no valet service. Enough space available for two wheeler parking.
I’ve been to this place twice and I can say that the food is great. It has both veg and non veg options. The employees are so nice and patient. Would definitely visit again!!
Decent cozy place as one time experience. Service is good. Food is average. The theme based look is an add on. Done well. Worth a visit.
Well maintained military style designed hotel
Very good place to have lunch and dinner
Better to try
butter kulcha
Butter chicken
Paneer butter masala
Butter roti
You can find servers also in military uniform
Very different style of restaurant
Finally Tate was too good
Probably one of the best restaurant i have come across, taste and the quality of food is top notch. Though price was bit high, it's really worthy for the quality of the food they served. Overall i would rate it a 4.5/5, best place to visit if you love good food.
Ambiance - nothing less to say, it's fantastic. One of a kind atmosphere; have not seen anything like it. Loved it to the fullest - army accessories, spanner door handle, tire seats, camp tables and helmet lights - super.
Food - Starters - we took Schezwan panner Manchurian and masala papad -> the Manchurian was very good but masala papad was ok.
Drinks - took Lassi and virgin mojito - enjoyed both of them
Main course - chilli cheese naan and chikki cheese kulcha - both of them were very well and are filling. We took Panner tikka curry which was mind blowing and it complimented the naan and kulcha very well. Veg biryani was also decent but the raita with it was very bad and full of water; no taste.
Service - It was ok. We were initially moved from our original place as the table we were seated was reserved itseems. No one notified us initially and 5 mins later, another guy comes and tells us those are reserved - there was no indication on the table that it was reserved (we were handed menus as well). Biryani came at the end which was expected but the waiter seemed to be in a hurry to serve us. My friend was still eating his roti and he insisted on serving biryani and he did serve. He didn't even bother to ask him before serving. Didn't like this part of the service.
Overall, a good experience with the ambiance and food. A bit expensive as well.
Such an amazing restaurant with delicious starters and main courses. Best North Indian food serving restaurant in Bengaluru.
Excellent Service food came fast, and the service was just so good. The food was great and great value for them as well.
Wonderful army theme restaurant. Great place to go with kids and family. Food can be better.
