The best place to enjoy pork. All the pork items are amazingly good and the bamboo shoot. Good and fast service. I have been here many times and whenever i am very hungry, i think of this place. The place is cozy, quite and decorated with Naga culture pictures.
This place serves great Naga food with amazing flavour and taste. Smoked pork with Bamboo shoots is a must try. The staff is very friendly.Overall an amazing place.
This place served some of the speciality of traditional northeast (naga) home brewed beer's and food, their smoked pork, dried bamboo shoots and spices cook to perfection makes it very unique in Taste ! need to improve on the service part. Will visit again soon.
Writing this down, even though I wasn't forced to write a review as is at most of the places in Bangalore. We actually went to hog on some burgers at Bundar, and I noticed this little nook by its side. So after our regular fill of Bundar burgers we thought to check this one out as well.
The first thing about this place which really appealed to me was it's music. They played everything from Charlie Puth, Dj Snake to Blue to Carpenters. That alone was a nice little ride through the ages. The decor was very North Eastern with some pictures of Nagaland festivals and there wasn't too much to it.
Now, I never had tried any Nagalese Cuisine(not sure if it's called that) earlier, so I had no clue what to expect. First thing to catch my eye while going through the menu was Pork. We being pork lovers got very excited, and we ordered a Pork Thali and a Pork Curry King Chilli with Bamboo Shoots. Needless to say from my high rating one can deduce that both these items were mind blowing and something one doesn't get to try everyday. Pork was very soft and well cooked. The thali had a few authentic North Eastern items which were delicious, especially the Chilli Chutney(very spicy, try with caution). Too bad our tummies were already full from the burgers, and we couldn't eat anything else. To top it off, the prices were very reasonable. Would definitely want to go again. Very Very Soon.

I had gone for dinner to this place, and I must say this is one place for authentic Naga food here in Bangalore. We have ordered fresh chicken naga bamboo shoot curry, naga chilly fry pork and chicken fried rice. All the items were very tasty especially the pork.
They make you to eat in wooden plates. The ambiance of the place is very nice with beautiful decor.
I would surely recommend this place.

My affinity to the things North East, drives my search for cuisines from the Indian Seven Sisters. Naga Chef in Koramangala 6 Cross is one such restaurant. The decor, fragrances, staff (appear distinctly Naga and not Nepalese) , the tastes and of course the rock music in the background makes u feel like being there. Ordered Half Rice and Master Leave Curry (Or is it Mustard Leaves ?!?). The taste was hot and yum but not pungent at all. Meat was well done and the taste of the herbs and mustard (sarson patta) leaves was just right. The effect of Naga chillies remains till the next morning. The only thing that puts you off a little is the wash room. Spoke to the staff, took the owners number and highlighted my concern. The owner was very kind and promptly responded with an assurance to set things right. Will certainly visit again to check and check other delicacies too. A must visit for meat lovers!

Right now am swaying to the tunes of English Rock n Roll & salivating as well snorting after great Naga food at the authentic Naga chef.
The place is unassuming from outside and in fact difficult to find but once you find it , one heavenly place. Spot the Naga cross sign ... And simply enter. Beware of the initial smell which will welcomes you. It's the bamboo shoot smell. I get the same whenever I am in Coorg or Coorgi restaurants.
Other things to expect - food is extremely spicy. You will salivate , shed tears but cannot stop eating. Good music & nice ambience , which makes you more hungry.
As we had some prior understanding of Naga cuisine - we did not have problem in ordering. We ordered - steam rice (full) , dry shrimp chutney , Naga dal ( this comes with mashed potato n bamboo shoot, so it's relatively heavy & lots of king chilly) . The smoked pork was not there hence we had to settle for fresh one.
The chutney is so spicy , we could not finish and now taking it back home along with dry fish king chilly chutney.
Next time we would try mixed veg boil & something with akhuni ( yam leaves).
Easy direction to spot this place - look for the log cabin like place right opposite to Madurai Idly shop or beside Bundar 😃
