I was a regular guest at lunch when my office was open, I tried once on a whim and got hooked on the authentic taste and history of the place. A must try for all who crave punjabi cuisine.
I have been eat Treat food from last 20 years or so. They could manage consistency for 25+ years. Must try if you have not tried yet.
Fast service. Relaxing ambience. Old Bollywood songs. Proper Punjabi North Indian food. Prices are quite high. Please be back on Zomato Gold
The food here is great if someone is looking for north Indian cuisine.....service is quite fast....dal makhni was really great and the paneer was also nice...the ambience was not that good and the place is underground to be careful to find it...... service and food are really good...moreover with Zomato gold its cost effective...... looking forward to visit again
This place is one of my favorites in Bangalore.
Pure Bollywood evergreen songs from old times and in a very soothing volume. Can enjoy with family and friends.
Food is awesome!!
Both the menus veg & non-veg are filled with the surprises of the nostalgic taste which is very hard to get easily in Bangalore.
Awesome Food. Friendly staff. Quick service.
Nice place, good ambience, food is tasty, reasonable price, good variety of options in Veg food. Must visit once here............theme of Resturant based on old Bollywood style which is also unique
One among the best North Indian food Resturant in Bangalore especially Shahi paneer, butter chicken and tandoor items. Hygienic, courteous staff is a value add. Pricing can definitely be better !!
Treat is definitely a treat to your culinary senses.
We tried the Butter chicken, Palak paneer and Dal makni. The Butter chicken is to die for and the Palak paneer dish redefined Palak paneer for me, the consistency is just right and the paneer is so soft, literally melts in your mouth !
Even the dal makni was very good.
Overall a very good experience, music and service wise too.
Must visit for real good North Indian meal.
Probably one of the better North Indian food joints in Bangalore. Have been going there for more than 12 years and the food has been consistent. Try the Tandoori Chicken and Buttter Chicken.
I've been here twice. It's a small little restaurant, nothing fancy.
We ordered 2 combos the first time we went here. The food is good. The dal makhani is to die for. The quantities were decent but the dal or sabji could have come in a slightly larger quantity in the combo.
We have also ordered a la carte here and I think that the quantities of the food served here is very disproportionate. The rice and dal have mismatching quantities (and by a large margin).
The servers were a little mean and forced us to change our order(stuffed tandoori aalu) because it would take 15 minutes to prepare.
Treat is definitely my go to place for North Indian food.
Excellent food. Superb quality across all dishes including the beverages.
This is fine blend of restaurant and home based food. That balance helped me appreciate the food a lot.
It's nice when the restaurant looks out for the quality of food and the health of the customer. (No colouring, excess oil etc)
Highly recommended and will definitely be my go to place for North Indian/Punjabi or Mughlai cuisine.
Excellent Punjabi Food. The first was so good that i went once again in the same week for a take away. Ordered on phone and picked up. Food was ready and packed when we reached.. excellent Chicken Kalimirch Tikka, Paneer Kalimirch Tikka, Saag Paneer, Malai Kofta, Lacha Paratha which we ordered in first round and then Butter Chicken, Tandoori chicken, Paneer Butter Masala, Malai Paneer Tikka and Egg Biriyani. All dishes were excellent. Loved the Kalimirch Tikkas and Saag Paneer the most. The Lacha Paratha also was very good and had a very natural taste of good quality flour. Waiting to go back again. Dining in area was very neat and inviting though we rushed through for the takeaway. The staff was very pleasing and helpful. Excellent packing as well.
Visited again on 28 Aug 2022
Had another awesome dine-in experience at Treat. Excellent North Indian food. Just love the service and the food quality. The Saag Paneer, Chicken Bhuna, Tomato Basil Soup, Murg Yakhini, Makkai Tikki, Butter Chicken and Railway Mutton Curry were really good. We enjoyed the food. Infact we had a fully active group ordering many series of food and each of the time food came on time and was yummy. The owners where very helpful and did guide me on where to park car and took genuine interest by helping me out with ordering food as well. Looking forward to enjoying the awesome food and Hospitality again. It's a gem in Indiranagar.
The Treat.. with over 25 years of experience in Punjabi food. The food is authentic Punjabi and the butter chicken is known for here. We tried the bhuna chicken which was good.I felt the tandoori chicken was a tad dry though. The matri with achar will remind you of Punjab.
Had the most amazing dinner with friends here. The Christmas decorations added a festive touch to the cozy atmosphere.
Starters like the galouti kebab and paneer tikka were a delight—I could have them every day. Khameeri roti and pudina paratha were the perfect companions to the outstanding butter chicken and mind-blowing dal makhni. Wrapped up the feast with the tastiest gajar ka halwa. Everything we had, including the service, deserves a 100/10 rating. Definitely planning to visit more often!
For almost 3 decades, Treat has been my preferred place for butter chicken in Bangalore. Consistently good, this restaurant has stood the test of time. Now in a nice new location, it's just that little bit closer to home for me. Also highly recommend thr mutton burra kabab. Melts in the mouth. Also, good value for money, considering the top notch quality!
Added the photo of the Burrah Kabab i dined on last night. Simply delicious. Top quality mutton, juicy, tender. Beautiful balance on the spice and just enough charring and smoky notes. The crunchy onions and a squeeze of lime juice brings it all together nicely.
For some authentic Punjabi food there's no place better. The dal makhni is exquisite and the saag to die for. Consistent and a place with a legacy, it hits the perfect spot.
Wonderful establishment. Restaurant has been in business for over 25 years, family business. owner’s son took our order and accommodated my food allergy (gluten)/Celiac by explaining which foods were safe to eat. Everything tasted really good - Curry: dal makhanwali and butter chicken; and mattar pullao. Decor of the restaurant gave desert vibes with modern flare of textures and patterns. Good meal. Good atmosphere. Good service. Would recommend!
A near authentic Punjabi indulgence...... The owner is a purist in his approach towards whatever he dishes out.
I don’t remember if I ever had a butter chicken that had meat chunks out of tandoori oven. I rate the butter chicken I had here a notch above the one I had in Pal Dhaba, Chandigarh.
Right from having mathri ,appetiser, to the Aloo bharwa to the Aam panna; my taste buds could easily make out the pleasure of tasting something that’s made using finest of the ingredients. Even the pickles and onions they serve have been given utmost attention to ensure no stone is unturned in their whole process — from procuring ingredients to serving the customer.
A treat .. A feast …Enjoyed every morsel .. Appreciate the owner sharing good info , and personally serving too…
Loved the soup , starters, main course and dessert ..
Amazing food! The daal and butter chicken was fabulous. The service is also great
