Is a great place for family.
Enjoyed the evening with good food and a great place to eat seafood. Really enjoyed a lot with my family.
Food was late but still enjoyed myself.
Decent food, not exceptionally great veg dishes. Was planning to try their non veg dishes before a review. But too sad that I heard they have shut down the business now!
I thinking the meaning of Adupadi when I went there. we ordered for chicken biriyani and chicken Sukka. overall very good South Indian food.
Adupadi, not sure what exactly it means by its name, but sure they mean authentic South Indian food. They house Veg Thali which has variety of food item, they are testy and plentiful. Adupadi has a house special chicken dish which complements well with white rice. So are the crab dish which are cooked to perfection. Food is served fresh and hot. However, it was spicy to our taste. The staffs were courteous and attend promptly. Located on the main street, it can be found very close to Indiranagar Namma Metro. The restaurant is themed in typical South Indian architecture with modern touch to it. All in all a good place for South Indian food lovers without burning a hole in their pocket.
I have never been to the restaurant, but have been ordering home delivery for years. The only items i have ordered are the Veg meanls and the gobi 65. The veg meals are very good and have never been dissapointed with either the quality or quantity served.
Comparatively cheaper but food is good. Southern style cuisines, with southern aura. Service is fine and they have this weird way of giving you discounts if you fill up some feedback form so ask for that to save few bucks.

Great place to try some authentic chettinadu flavors, as long as you know what you're ordering.. the tiffin items and their accompaniments are very nice.. the curries and snacks are very good as well.. I'm not a fan of their biriyanis or starters.. the meals are sumptuous and desserts, especially elaneer payasam are not to be missed..
A village feel, and loved the ambience, the best place for non -veg Spicy food lover!!!!!!
Quite pleasant ambience to spend with family!!!!
An awesome place to hit if you want an authentic chettinad lunch. It was a Sunday where me and my friend wanted some nice rice lunch and potentials were andhra meals but just bumped into this one and did not disappoint at all. One of the best South Indian Lunches i've had in recent times. Amazing Kolambu, poriyals , its just endless.
We wanted a quick snacker with a desert to end with.we decided to try adupadi since we had not tried.
We ordered idiappam, vathakozhambu, kuzhi paniyaram and elaneer payasam.
The one that stole the show was payasam which resemble the tender cocunut ice cream of naturals with pieces of the tender cocunut in it.
We ordered through swiggy. It was masala kuzhi paniyaram but not much of masala and the kozhambu was a tad salty but not disturbing the taste.
In Bangalore one of the best place to have chettinad cuisine. If u r a foodie don't forget to go there. special meal you will get so much variety and non-veg especially fish curry and chicken dry items was awesome taste because of the taste u may eat more.
A wonderful space if you prefer to have a bit of Veg and Non Veg dishes. Tamil Nadu style food is served well. Don't miss to check a mini boutique store which sells handcrafted materials inside the restaurant space.
A must go for people who crave for Chettinad style food in Bangalore! We tried the Nattu Kolli Rasam, Aduppadi Chicken Fry, Appam, Ceylon Parotta, Egg Kothu Parotta, Mutton Masala! All were awesome with apt spiciness. A bit pricey but the quality and taste of food are great!
Aah.... the taste of Chettinaad cuisine in Adupadi is one of the best things you can experience in Bangalore. The ambience is interesting - of an old house in Tamil Nadu. The food is very good. Almost every item is worth ordering twice and the spice in each item is very well balanced. And do not miss the coconut milk payasam there. It’s a sheer beauty on your palette.
There are restaurants that serve Chettinad cuisine and then there is a place like Adupadi! Here is something that folks don't seem to understand about Chettinad cuisine - it is rich, flavorful and it has non-veg. By rich I mean rich because of the fact that they use the maximum number of spices to flavor their dishes. The time taken to cook everyone of their dishes is ridiculous!! The heat comes primarily from the multitude of spices they use. Having travelled and eaten at the very heart of Chettinad by some of the best cooks there, Adupadi, for me takes number one place for me in Bangalore! I guess folks who aren't aware of their cuisine are carried away by their expectations that don't match their taste.
Standouts for me - Nalli soup - Cleared my nasal cavity with the pepper and set me up for the rest of the meal. Nethilli(anchovies) fry - crispy exterior, soft meat and crunchy bones! Pulli kuzhambu - Was off the hook, the tangy flavors and the heat, I could have a bowl of it, neat! The rasam - Green tomato rasam sets the bar so high with the tangy tamarind and equally tangy green tomatoes. Chettinad chicken kurma - The true soul of Chettinad stood head and shoulder above the rest. Perfect match, be it with the whole wheat chapati or rice! Onion Pepper Chicken - Another side dish that went so well with the chapati. Sakkarai payasam - Rice desert sweetened with sugar, puts your mouth at ease. Not enough??!? The Panner soda - Rose water in some soda water will set all those sensory buds in your mouth at peace (although I prefer the lingering taste of all the food to remain) & a tad to sweet after all that heat!
Colleagues of mine who were skeptical about the poor rating of this place on Zomato were completely sold!! (Whew! I lucked out!!) Truth be told, I have always found that some of the reviews are misleading and I rather rate the place myself. Jackpot! Again!!
0.5 less because I was way to hungry and the service was just a tad slow but the service staff made up for it with some fantastic service!
Very Good authentic Chettinadu Food. Compared to other Chettinadu restaurants in bangalore , adupadi is best in buisness.
Been there for 3 to 4 times for Lunch & Dinner. Hope they maintain the quality.
