Absolutely delicious and spicy authentic Andhra cuisine..
Loved their gongura chicken and fish pulusu , although Biryani was not close to outstanding .. would recommend if ur ready to taste real spicy food..
It was a first visit...to this spacious place to try out authentic Andra food.Which i am having it after long time. My taste buds were charged by the culinary flavours of spicey food...must try again.
Placed order through zomato for andhra meals, received on time, taste and quantity was excellent, easily serves 2 person with some extra rice. Highly satisfied 😋 packaging should be improved
Liked what we got. Good value for money... great on taste. The delivery of the food was not too great though.
Tasty food, cozy yet spacious interiors and friendly service. The outdoor seating on the first floor is great makes it a nice place for lunches and dinners alike.
The restaurant is in a decadent bungalow on 7th Main, HRBR layout. Restaurant's on 2 levels and has ample al fresco dining space. The top floor is being re-done and has a beautiful verandah that will be a top draw once it's all done.
What I liked best is the place being well ventilated and it receives lot of natural light.
Must mention the passion of Mr Paul who has a great background in the hospitality industry, in keeping the place on its toes.
Coming to the food, tried the Veg thali. Loved the Veg kurma, rasam, sambhar, Methi dal, Poriyal and Halwa. It also had Ulavu Charu, which was at its tangy best and Majjiga Pulusu. And the usual Roti, curd and rice. The Gongura is made in house. Do try the Paruppu podi and dhaniya podi with ample ghee.
They are planning to expand the menu to offer something for everyone as well. The place has lot of scope to make it big one day if the present taste, service and offerings are kept consistent.
This place is the best. Great food and good quality. It doesn't look like they compromise on quality and cleanliness, so it feels just like home food.

I visited there today. Ambience is nice. I ordered a biryani, it’s delicious. If I come to service tat is also good. They are very polite and helpful, and I met with there manager Rati.. who came and asked the experience n help me in the menu also. Thanks a ton. Keep up the good work. Will definitely visit soon.

Its was awesome place we went for lunch we order andhra meals. Meals is super only. Only one suggestion put some music in restaurant.

This one restaurant that has been around for nearly a year or may be a little longer. But I have not had a chance to dine in at the restaurant. There are times when I decided to go and then backed out in the final minute. But last week when I wanted to dine in with my family and decided to go to Spice Kitchen.
Located close to the Outer Ring Road, this is a place that no one can miss. They do have valet parking service and there is plenty of parking space outside the restaurant.
Ambiance
A nice place spread across 2 floors, but I could also explore the ground floor section where I was dining in. The place looks spacious and has nice seating arrangements. There is beautiful painting that reminds us of the art & culture from Andhra Region.
Food
The main reason we visit new places it enjoys different flavors in the dishes prepared by Chefs across restaurants. Ideally, I look for something different compared to what we usually eat at home.
Drinks
There are plenty of good drinks to pick up like Kesar Lassi, Mango Lassi & Fresh Lime Soda. The taste of the drink is good and pricing is reasonable compared to other places.
Soup
Drumstick Soup – The soup tasted good with the drumstick, but it was a little on the spicy side with a lot of pepper. If they can avoid making it too spicy, it will become very good.
Main Course
Mushroom Masala – A dish that we generally don’t prepare much our home and I did not expect anything. To my surprise the dish tasted amazing and the portion size was just perfect. The dish had tasty gravy, mushrooms were well cooked, and balance was fine. at Spice Kitchen. It tasted very good along with the Indian breads.
Breads (Phulkas & Butter Kulcha) – The butter kulcha was good and so was the Phulkas. In a single plate of Phulkas, they serve 3 which is a good number.
Ullavacharu Biryani Veg – This was something I was not sure what to expect. But I was happy that the taste was amazing. The rice was very well cooked, masala gravy added along Ullavacharu tasted amazing. This is probably one of the best Biryani I have had after Meghana Biryani. I asked for medium spicy like the gravy dish, this meant lesser portion of masala was added into the dish. The salan and raita could have been a little better, but the biryani was the star.
Overall Experience
I enjoyed the experience of having dinner at the Spicy Kitchen. The food & drink were good, myself & my family enjoyed the taster & flavors. I specially loved the Biryani as it had right balance of flavor from the masala. This place has potential to be one of the sorts after places for Andhra food in the Kalyan Nagar region. My current rating for the restaurant is 4.0/5. Rating in other departments.

Lovely chicken biriyani, the gravy given was also tangy and plus the soothing raitha, the biryani had enuf masala but was so rich and soothing, not too spicy or oily, loved every bite of it. The fry piece chicken biryani which I ordered had gravy with chicken pieces which were perfectly cooked and again the masala was so rich and flavourful unlike many hyderabadi hotels in Bengaluru.
The mushroom pepper dry was actually the way I wan it, dry and crispy with all the curry leaves fried, chillies.
May be slightly on the expensive side but the quality and quantity is jus more than enough for you to be a happy man.
The interiors are pretty good, each wall has been done differently yet altogether it gives a rich feeling.
I would surely recommend this restaurant for non vegetarians but don expect the usual spicy masala.
Grt work Spice Kitchen!!
The non veg Thali was a little overpriced for the variety of dishes offered. The range was very small but the taste was excellent. The gongura chicken was very good. Little spicy but the flavour was wholesome. Ambience looks bad from outside but the interior is really good.
Really good food. Authentic Andhra taste, great ambiance and friendly staff members. Service was on time and Alex was really friendly and patient to explain the menu items and helped us decide our dinner.
The food was really tasty and spicy with a capital S. Junnu karkaralu was very tasty and veg thali was also very tasty. Mutton chopps were also done very well. We also tried the mutton biryani, which could have been better. But you should only visit if you have the taste for spicy food. Other than the food, the service was prompt, and the place is clean. Some work needed on the interior front. It's just plain walls at the moment. But could be the after effects of lockdown. Overall, we enjoyed our family lunch at the restaurant.

The ambience is beautiful.The food was outstanding.We had butter kulcha,butter naan and chicken butter masala along with sweet lime soda and plain lassi. It was a simple meal and we enjoyed the food thoroughly...It came as a saviour on a scorching hot hungry afternoon. Thanks Spice Kitchen for the wonderful hospitality.
The people in the restaurant were spot on in terms of service.
The restaurant gives a vibe that is peaceful that further increase the taste of the food when u eat it.
I went with my family, we ordered aloo 65 as starters, as main course we had meals, butter naan, roti and chicken curry (non spicy).
The meals were good
Roti was a bit hard but it was tasty that we ordered twice
The butter naan was exceptionally well and it was thin(just the way I like)
The chicken curry whose name I can't remember was non spicy and puts u in paradise with its taste
We then ordered a fruit salad with ice cream which was like the same u get from any restaurant
The restroom was pretty
The air conditioning was perfectly set. Neither too cold or totally not noticeable
All in all it was a wonderful experience. Totally would recommend people to have here
We ordered chicken biriyani, the masala was just perfect,not too spicy or oily. The service was quick and the staffs were hospitable too. Restaurant is located at a convenient place with valet parking.
Nice ambience, pleasant staff, easily accessible. We ordered Guntur chicken and it was so juicy and yummy. Thali was great too. I enjoyed my meal here.
These days the quality is reduced. Andhra style meals is good. Other Andhra style gravies n fries are also good. Biryani is okay.
For me spice kitchen is one of the best restaurants in bangalore... I was visiting today the food was very tasty...in i order some starters it was fantastic...in the service was awesome.. In also i wanna appreciate all the spice shif that you guys make me satisfy... Lastly God bless all the spice kitchen family.. Love to visit next time....
