The muffins and cakes are great. Couldn't find anything better than the ones I had here. I have tried the rolls here, but they are not that good. The ambience and service is unmatched.

Mostly had their cakes &pastries so far...all r yummy...recently have their chocolate tart but the outer crust was too hard!!!loved the quiche and tiramisu cake...

Went to caramel, their bakery shop. WORST CAKE EVER. I took it for my wife's bday and to my surprise when I took it out for the celebration,it was smelling. Ignored it for the sake of celebration - however when tasted it was as dry as 4 days old bread and stinking flavour. I thought of it as exceptional situation- may be they gave a show piece. So decided to go back to the bakery shop the next eve. Chef was called and I was shocked by his attitude and preservance that it's fresh and not stale. The store person did agree to me earlier but in the presence of chef had to agree with him. I asked for refund or alternative cake but chef proudly denied that there is no problem with the cake. With no option, left the cake on the face of chef. Don't waste your money for the sake of name of this cafe. I hope someone from management is taking stock of this comment. Facts: Cake brought on 4th Oct at around 9pm. Went back to bakery on 5th Oct around 8:45.

One of my favorite places to hangout late at night. The place remains open till 2 AM. <br/>I guess in one of the only places where you can get Biryani this late. <br/>The place serves incredible pastries. Belgian mousse is awesome.<br/>Coupled with bangalore's weather at night anda lovely ambiance outside, this place is a must visit!

The place was a refreshing change for us in Bangalore where almost everything closes at 10 PM. Had tarts which were to die for. The options in sweet and savoury were more than expected.

i never knew there could be soooo many thing just in a coffee shop, pastry to cakes to snacks and full on food as well such as biryani, etc. Good food for such a convenient price and good service. The Mexican and Appam with Stew on counter was awesome.

My favourite place lately...This place is Known for its ambience and is the only place in Bangalore to find food at 2 am... The reason we come here over and over again is the hospitality provided by Vikas.. Desserts are awesome...Especially the Belgium chocolate mousse is to die for...

One of my fav. hangouts. For business discussions, work, or fun (if I could buy this place I would):Food & Ambience:-  Its open till 2 am which works in my favor - Taj should explore opps to keep this open 24/7.-  The food options are plenty, liked the open grill that was started, the Lamb Pie, biriyani, pastries, all the varieties of snacks and the best of them all is their COFFEE.-  Live music used to be played, Taj - bring back Michael and group.-  The best ambience (according to me) in any weather.-  I go there for the peace and quiet. Taj - don't change anything.Staff:-  All the staff were and are very cordial, professional and helpful. Kudos to them.-  Appreciate all those who worked the late shift.-  Thanks to VIKAS for being a Brand Ambassador for Taj, its his hospitality, kindness and accurate service along with attention to every detail that has made the place what it is. His customer service is of very high standards.-  Thanks to Dinesh too who is every hard working and willing, even post his shift sometimes. He multi-tasks seamlessly, yet never forgetting what the customers what. MISS THIS PLACE!!! Thanks Josh for introducing me to Caramel 2 years back. Had been yesterday after a gap of 3 months, Damn! A sip of Coffee brought back all the memories and fun which we had for 2 years. Never missed a day to visit Caramel when I used to work in ITPL, I just Love the ambience, that silent music, salads, caramel custard, subs and of course Coffee! Vikas, you were amazing with Coffee yesterday. Will try to make it atleast once in a month. BTW, our WhatsApp group chat name is Caramel..lol.

I have been Bangalore for around 2 years and this place has been like my second home...the staff has been awesome and especially Vikas has been brilliant....I am in Mumbai now and I certainly miss this place..

Been to this place on Thursday evening with my best ally :) - <br/>would directly step in n would say about their parking n rest al boring stuff !!! :P<br/>it is tucked in to a corner ! Caramel is indeed very special place for me. It gives me all the personal space and I love spending time for hours. Service is quiet pleasing. I generally go to have coffee there but tasted pastries and Ceasar Salad, which indeed a compliment to taste buds.<br/><br/>The staff is very polite and gentle and the warm greet always make you feel welcomed.

I'm quite pleased with this place. They're pastries are divine. Service can be a little slow and sometimes the staff is not so knowledgeable. The place gets really warm in the evenings because of all the equipment. But otherwise, I really like it.

Decent place to spent evening with your dear one's..you can enjoy your personal talks within a calm and silent atmosphere..their pastries arr awesome and is not that costly..chocolate Belgium mousse is worth trying..

The bakery does not have fresh food. Most of the pastries taste stale.<br/><br/>We have tried couple of times and the feedback has been the same. We have informed the staff as well, but there has been no improvement

Frequent visitor here, fresh sandwich and pastry taste is unmatchable, have tried all 5 star but it is best here. Only thing which this place lack is variety, you can always pick breads from here.

Came here for a midnight sugar rush. At the outset let me say what's good & what's not. The ambiance is great, if you sit outside! It's a really quiet & breezy area and the seating is also pretty relaxed. What's not good is the food. It's not about the prices, it's just not all that great irrespective of the price.<br/><br/>We tried every single sweet item on their menu. The Danish pastry was good. It had a rich texture & had a fair amount of cinnamon to give it an authentic taste. So was the brownie. It was extremely rich & is something I would definitely recommend.<br/><br/>But besides that, nothing really made the cut. Tried the tarts, cakes, donuts, everything that was sweet.<br/><br/>So if you're visiting Caramel, I'd recommend the 2 items & suggest you ignore the rest.

I am severely disappointed with your service. I gave you an order for an "EGGLESS FRUIT CAKE" at noon to pick it up at 7:00 PM. You accepted the order fine. Then I drove for about an hour in this mind-numbingly crazy newyear traffic to get to your place. And then you tell me that its "NOT EGGLESS" after making me wait ...for another 10 minutes. And then you tell me that you cannot make an eggless cake tonight. So I go back driving for another hour in this crazy traffic. Your callous attitude has cost me all of these tonight: 1) Terrible amounts of petrol 2) Two hours of my life in this stupid traffic 3) 4 minutes of phone call trying to explain my order to the stupid order taker who cant get simple instructions right 4) 10 minutes waiting at your stupid shop trying to make sense of the ridiculously incompetent waiting staff 5) Sever headache I am done with you guys and Vivanta by Taj. Lesson learnt. Thanks a lot. I am never going to let you guys spoil anything else for me. I am sorry but there are not enough negative stars in Zomato to rate your shop. Happy New Year.

This is one of my favorite cafe's in Bangalore .... I just luv the muffins and the cookies over here.,.... Have been here multiple times and this place never disappoints.

I would say I'm fairly regular to this place because my office is in the same tech park  where this is located. I don't know why but I had expected a lot out of this place but I'm quite disappointed now after trying out all the items. But trust me, none of the items stand out or make it "special". I've had far better pastries at half the price. Maybe the sophisticated taste doesn't suit me :P Jokes apart, this is a fairly good but the price is simply not worth the taste they offer.<br/><br/>One more thing is that, the Air-Conditioning never works here and it's like an inferno inside. So you'll almost always end up sitting outside.  In conclusion, I would like to say that you can give it a miss and you wouldn't have missed anything special

Taj Vivanta - whitefiled has a partial entry via ITPL gate and from there on an easy access to all the big bad IT players in the vicinity!! <br/><br/>Caramel is a pastry & baking-division which ia located as soon as you enter from the ITPL exit! <br/><br/>The variety is few based on target audience !! You certainly should request for "Belgium Chocolate" if you are a die-hard fanatic of dark oopmhy chocolate- Yum!! "Opera house" pastry & Brownie are the others which i have tried - and it is also as good !!!<br/><br/>Ambiance is pretty lovely - it has seating for open air as well as indoor !! The staff is impeccable delight - very courteous!! <br/>Price -wise you know its "Taj" ;) cant deny the quality for the price you pay!! <br/><br/>Do visit this place - Most of them are priced within the budget - including the taxes and other taxes it almost doubles the bill value !!!

Food is average, place is quite silent with soft music, staff's helpful and price is not that high. (by standards of taj).

I discovered this place some 6 months back, and have been a regular ever since.<br/>I love their non-veg sandwich and biryani, apart from their desserts. But, I feel their menu is too small… I have already grown tired of eating the same dishes over and over!<br/>In all, a decent place to spend evenings with friends whilst sipping coffee.

I used frequent this place often some time ago, haven't tried much on the menu but the Beef Tenderloin Burger was brilliant! The Pastas and the chicken biryani were pretty good too - definitely value for money..
