This place had a myriad options in fusion cocktails. I ordered one with white rum, chillies and curry leaves and it was surprisingly great!
I had gone for dinner with 2 other friends.

We ordered their fish masala, which came wrapped and steamed in banana leaves and their mushroom ghee roast to begin with.
For the 10 minutes that we were relishing the starters, the three of us forgot to talk to each other. We were so deeply engrossed in the scrumptious food.
For main course, we ordered a simple prawn curry with some neer dosas. The main course was didn't leave us disappointed, but was no mark compared to the starters!
Do give this place a try if not for the amazing food then definitely the unique ambience!

This is a place with simple, yet nice ambience on the roof top. The food here is too good with just the kind of starters you would like to have with drinks. Both the veg and non veg starter were too good. The gravy and chutney given with the starters was just awesome. Even the main course was really good n tasty. The service was excellent and they were very courteous. Rating it 4 since 1-2 items could improve

Visit this place they serve you the authentic dish in a beautiful and traditional roof top ambience.
Cozy places make the food taste much better, doesn’t it?
They also have curated cocktails on menu and are worth trying!

Pocket pinch- 1800 / for two including 2 cocktails.

Oh, And for desserts I ordered Payasam which was good! But a little too sweet!

I actually wanted to have co.ba.ja Matka Jackfruit ice cream but sadly they were not available.

In Frame, Fish Tawa Fry , Prawns Ghee Roast served on Beetle Leaf, Melon Basil Twist!
Also, ordered Whiskey sour not in frame though!!🥃 😝

Amazing and courteous staff. Loved the ambience so much. And the foood has great taste. I wish there was zomato gold 1+1 offer on food rather than drinksss, cause this place is more about it's food. Loved their touch to ethnicity and culture

This is a lovely place to spend with family and friends, the food is excellent and so is the service. The illustrations by Sagar right from the stairs through the entrance, quirky Kannada words(which my husband learnt successfully and proved by calling me 'Chintamani'😎!), quotes by Kannada authors, the Mysore petas and haale topis and an extensively designed menu. A lot of research and hard work has gone into the making of this place stick to it's theme. A nice place to introduce someone to Karnataka cuisines. Thank you for making our family outing memorable.

This is a must visit if you are in Bangalore. Truly authentic Kannadiga cuisine, with a well stocked bar and excellent service. Co.ba.ja is spread across two floors...an open air seating on the second floor that is open in the evening and a first floor enclosed space with an ambience that is truly unique and refreshing...you gotta see it for yourself. They plan to open up both spaces for lunch and dinner soon. I loved the food and the cocktails. Their 'quarter bottle cocktails' are truly value for money and hit the right spot. I have been eating out for decades and have yet to come across a restaurant that serves truly delicious authentic local food with world class cocktails that have been tweaked to perfection. Well done co.ba.ja I will surely visit again! Cheers.

It's a relatively new place and is actually quite good. The rooftop is best spot with a nice gentle breeze smearing your face. This place has 2+2 on drinks on Zomato gold. Food is pretty average, drinks are good. Would recommend this place if you are in MG road.

Co.ba.ja- a restaurant which serves delightful Karnataka cuisine in Brigade Road, certainly took my tastebuds on a flavourful journey during my visit! The restaurant is situated in 1st and 2nd floor of the building. The 2nd floor is an open air seating whereas the 1st floor has indoor seating arrangement with chairs and cushions. Both the floors are quite different from each other. Each of them have a unique ambience. Secondly, the food that we tried was very tasty. We could literally fill a whole array of flavours in every dish that we had ordered. As we went during the Savji & Malnad Food festival, we mostly tried the dishes from the specially curated menu. Not only the food was amazing, but also the cocktails were mind blowing. The dishes and drinks that I personally loved and I would definitely like others to try are as follows: Beverages: Litchi Curry Martini Paan Mojito Saffron Punch Starters: Prawns Ghee Roast Mutton Pepper Fry Chicken Ghee Roast Fish Tawa Fry Main Course: Hubli Chicken Palav Mutton Roso Lastly, the service was great. Don't have any complaints at all. Very humble waiters who know how to ace their job! People who want a taste of Karnataka cuisine along with some amazing fusion cocktails should SURELY TRY this place!

As we know, Coconut, banana, and jackfruits are those fruits which a south Indian palate cannot resist, so why not give them a tribute and make an eatery with their name? Hopefully, this is the thought which drives its owner to name this restaurant. So, a new place in brigade road, just opposite to brigade tower, serving delicacies from all the parts of Karnataka. This place is layered in two halves. One is rooftop and the other one is indoor. Both of them are awesome. The rooftop is a special attraction, it's calm and quiet, the serene ambiance will attract you in the first place. Indoor seating place is brilliantly decorated with some amazing wall décor with perfect complimentary colored walls. Do try indoor seating if you visit this place in the evening. Coming to food, this place serves some amazing vegetarian and non-vegetarian starters and thalis and of course don’t forget to try out their brand new incorporation “ quarter bottle cocktails” these cute offerings will certainly make your day. My personal favorite was Pan mojito and spiced guava martini. Do try them out. We went for a team lunch and had For starters: Soya Kayi Muchi, Mix Veg Sukka, Bangda Masala Fry, Squid Sukka, Prawn and Chicken Ghee Roast, Chicken Uruval, Mutton Liver Fry. All of them were awesome. For vegetarian people never miss out their soya kayi muchi. Such a brilliant veg starter to open your culinary journey. Ghee roasts are my favorite and they didn’t disappoint me. Ghee roast has the perfect balance of spice and texture to it. Mutton liver is another one which we loved it. Do try that out too. On weekdays they have corporate set lunch thalis - Veg, Fish, Chicken, and Mutton. The thalis are extremely reasonably priced. I loved the Fish Thali. Best part, they are amazingly pocket-friendly. We also tried their Hubli chicken pulav it was pretty decent I would say. Now for the final part was dessert, I was a bit disappointed with their dessert section and feel this part of the food didn’t match with the other courses. Desserts need improvement. We had Ragi Manni and the Payasam the most. Pheni with badam milk and Holige. Payasam and Holiges are somewhat palatable.

Authentic Kannadiga cuisine! My brother and friends came down from the US and wanted to taste various dishes from Karnataka. We tried a few restaurants but none of them had more than one regional cuisine. At last we found this new place called Co.ba.ja. They have curated the menu to include dishes from most cities and regions of Karnataka. They have some nice cocktails which are served in a quarter bottle (very authentic) each labled with the cocktail name. I loved the Spiced Guava Martini and the Rum and Masala coke. We tried the Prawn Ghee roast and Mutton liver Fry. It felt like we were on a road trip eating at a wayside bar. Delicious spread of spices. The ghee roast taste was unlike any I had tasted in BLR. We tried the Udupi Masala papad. The dry prawn chutney was very interesting. We tried a tawa fry See fish which was cooked well. We tried the delicate Neer dosa with Bhoti masala. The Neer dosa would simply melt in your mouth. Tried the coconut rice and a ragi mudde with mutton ball curry. I wasn't impressed with the mudde. But the coconut rice was above par. Went well with the curry. With desserts I learned the correct way to eat them. We had the holige (obbattu) and chiroti served with ghee and coconut milk. It was a fitting end to a sumptuous meal. The service was decent. It was good initially. But it got a bit slack once the place got packed. We brought it up to the manager and we were attended to immediately. Felt the Alcohol options were limited and nothing new as compared to other restaurants. But the quality of the cocktails served were top notch. The decor is quite beautiful. Potrays the different faces of Karnataka. It is well designed. Overall I would go back for the food. It is delicious. The menu is quite extensive. And the taste authentic!

A must visit place! This hidden gem which opened its gates few months ago is a go to place for all your traditional south Indian cravings, plus this place has a bar which serves drinks by the quarter !! Pakka local feeling redefined The ambience consists of indoor and outdoor seating both of them have their own charm , the rooftop is set up like a traditional verandah and naturally has a canopy of trees covering this area. The indoor seating however has tables where you can enjoy food by sitting on the floor also with some chairs and walls dotted with kannada memes Starting off with the drinks i would highly recommend the 1) paan and mint mojito: must try 2) tequila sunrise 3) spicy guava chilli 4) masala rum and coke Coming to the food the menu consists of wild coastal flavours of mangalorean coastal classics along with some suttle north Karnataka flavours as well Must try starters are as follows 1) tawa masala fry promfret: the fish was fresh and masala was yum 2) chicken ghee roast: must try it here 3) prawns koliwada: tasted good 4) mutton kheema balls: it was too yummy the meat balls were moist and soaked with amazing flavours In main course ource we opted for the thali options The thalis are flavourful and awesome and reasonably priced. I would recommend the 1) fish thali 2) chicken thali 3) veg thali Also their hubli style chicken pulao is worth a mention. They make some amazing and authentic desserts My favourites were the 1) hollige made Karnataka style and served with hot coconut milk and ghee. Exceptional homemade taste 2) pheni with badam milk 3) palada payasam Service: Hats off to the management for putting up such a show!!! Staffs were courteous and friendly. Worth a visit definitely coming back for more. Verdict: Drinks 5/5 Food 5/5 Service 5/5 Two wheeler parking available, cars can be parked on the parallel lane.

Mangalore food at it's best . This place in brigade road gives you the most amazing mangalorean food straight from the coasts of Karnataka. From their neer dosa to kori roti and their brilliant ghee roast and fish kebab , which is a must try . Their beautiful cocktails and mocktails go so well with the cuisine. Comfort food + beautiful ambience + affordable prices . What more do you want? And by beautiful ambience I mean the place has a rooftop seating which is gold. It's got this amazing view with decked up interiors and it's all kinds of pretty ❤️ The service was good and the staff was super friendly. The prices are super pocket friendly too . So without digging your wallet you can eat your heart out at this cute little place in bridge road. Loved the food , ambience , service and the affordable prices .

Awesome place to hang out wid friends and having chilled beer on the rooftop ,this experience and time is just marvelous. Me n my friends sat on the rooftop area but the first floor is also awesome as it lets u sit down in Rajasthani style and also in corners tables are provided who r uncomfy in sitting down. Nice charismatic lighting done on rooftop and the view in evening is just beyond writing it in words. You can enjoy the making of cocktails as live in front of u. Located in one of the posh places called brigade road which is famous for its fine dine restaurants and branded shops with 5 star hotels as well. Now coming to the food and beverages we had over here :- ** Food ** • Namma orru style (healthy salads) • Special Murukku • Chicken ghee roast • Prawns pepper fry • Mangalore buns • Kaiman undoh • Chicken uruval • Kaleji Chakan • Shrimp masala • Fish tawa fry (anjal/surmai/seer fish) • Prawns Koliwada • Kundapur chicken gassi • Akki roti • Neer dosa All the dishes were good and delicious in taste and especially loved the fish tawa fry and kaiman undoh as in fish they had provided my favourite fish ajnal wich we call surmai in marathi ya king fish or seer fish also. Loved the Murukku as well as it was provided with chicken gassi curry and yeah the last dish wich I loved was prawns pepper fry as it was upto the mark and basically we eat it with roti but as we were hungry so just ate like dat nly without any breads. ** Beverages ** • Co.ba.ja's special long Island ice tea • Spicy guava martini • Pan mojito cocktail(quarter bottle) • Tequila sunrise (quarter bottle) • Drunk pineapple (quarter bottle) • Mint lemon Mocktail ** Dessert ** • Chiroti with badam milk I loved the L.i.i.t drink wich was too hard and strong and literally awesome. It had coke, tequila, vodka as the main ingredients, after dat if dey had added anything else den I don't know as didn't get the taste of other things except for this 3. Second drink I loved was paan mojito wich was alluring in taste and loved the quarter bottles actually. The dessert was familiar to me as I had eaten it somewhere but can't recollect but trust me it tasted more good without milk. Do check out the fish which dey have hanged with the above lamp. Service was kind and prompt and very friendly.

Such a lovely place.. Basically it is a multifloored Restro bar . wall painting is just woow. Nicely designed interiors.. All wooden furnitures.. They also have a roof top area.. Which is soo good with greenery. Loved the roof top area. Very well decorated roof top. Service was good. Staffs were very courteous. I must say.. They are serving amazing cocktails & mocktails. The cocktails & mocktails I personally liked.. 1. Litchi blossom 2. Cobaja spl. Liit 3. Chilli guava co.ba.ja is now serving ele oota. Basically OOta is a fine dining Karnataka cuisine restaurant with a fantastic ambience. It has indoor seating and verandah seating. They are serving both veg and non veg thalis. They are serving those delicious dishes with a very traditional South Indian way.. i.e, on fresh banana leaves. This non veg thali has a lot of delicious things like neer dosa, kori roti, rasam, sambar, usli, palya, chicken sukhha, authentic Karnataka style chicken curry, prawn curry, fish Tawa fry, papad, payasa, curd & pickle. All gravy items were super yummy.. Fish fry was the show stopper.. It was soo soft, juicy, yummy n superb. All were too good. Also I tried their ghee roast chicken and neer dosa..which was soo spicy & super tempting.. Also loved it totally. Lastly I tried holige/puranpoli which was amazing. If u want to try best authentic Karnataka cuisine, plz head to co.ba.ja.. You will definitely love it. I will definitely recommend this place to everyone.
