What a beautiful place ,run by a lovely couple . Best appams north of Kerala , decent parotta , extremely clean environs and recyclable plates. Best chukku kaapi I hav had for a long time . Had some vatta fish curry , chicken stew and chicken gravy .
Hardly any place to sit , except for 2 stools . But who cares and I don't care for decor when the food is beautiful. The rates were very reasonable for Bangalore standards.
This is one of the best place if you want to have some Kerala breakfast . The appam served here is just awesome. Today we tried appam and chicken curry, puttu and chicken curry and then idiappam and coconut milk. It was really yummy. It’s a small outlet, go before 9 am else you won’t get some of the items.
My high rating for this place is for the magic of what one man cook up in a 6x6 foot space tucked under a staircase. Everything from cooking, serving and disposal is thought through beautifully keeping in mind the place & conditions. Super well done and inspiring.
The food itself is simple and authentic. You can easily get better at other proper Kerala restaurants but what you won't get is this improbable experience of a one man show.

This place has the best appam ever. Idiyappam and puttu were good too. The side dish gravies were above average. You must visit this place for the appam alone.
The best place to have Appam and Chicken Stew / Chicken Roast, Kappa and fish curry, Puttu and kadala, Kerala porotta and chicken curry in Bangalore, period!! Been going to this place since 14yrs. It’s like family now and every time my friends and family visits, they want to go there too. The food is very hygienic and taste is consistent. What you see is what you eat and it’s everyday fresh!! I kept asking them why they are not considering an expansion, and they humbly say they cannot be sure of the consistency then and that itself speaks volumes of the mutual faith!!
To all Malayalis missing your Amma's food and people who really wish to taste authentic Kerala food, Appam corner is the right place.
Super tasty Appams, Idiyappom, Chapathi and Porotta along with Kerala spicy Chicken Curry, Chicken stew, Kadala curry and Egg curry.
Came here just planned to have a taste of Appam , but ended up 2 of us eating 14 appam and lots of curry
A wonderful place where you can enjoy lip smacking appam with chicken curry. A great breakfast option. I took my friend here for a quick treat . Perfect service and lovely ambience
This place is a savior for people who love mallu food. The place serves many varieties like puttu, appam, idiayappam, porota. Curries include chicken curry, chicken stew ,fish curry ,egg curry and peas curry. My all time favorite is appam with chicken curry . It's a joy to eat at this joint . I never miss to eat here each time I visit Bangalore.
One of the best and simple breakfast.. It is a tiny outlet, you can stand and eat there or takeaway. It serves appams and idiyappam.. Veg, egg, chicken and fish curry available.. My favourite is appams with chicken curry.. It is too delicious and worth trying!!
This place is a gem and like other gem it is hard to locate. There is no board and also it is not situated on the main road and shop size is slightly bigger than a pan shop. But coming to thefod, appam and kadla curry and chicken curry is heaven. Very authentic and finger licking. Definitely must try place for breakfast and dinner. Price is also nominal and food is very fresh..
Tiny place with no seating area,no ambience,no menu,no waiters,nothing.
But you get to eat adipoli hot hot Appam, very nice Chicken curry, soft Idiyapam, mouth watering Kappa and Fish Curry and few other things!
The owner and chef has literally mastered the art of making yummy hot appams with tasty chicken/egg/pulses/fish curry. There are few items on the menu and the service is quick. It's more of a hole in the wall to statisfy one's craving for delicious food. Price is so reasonable that you might end up having two plates. It's closed only on Mondays, and Sundays is for special items. Every morning the shop opens by 8:30am and you can always spot customers waiting. It's not open for lunch. Please do try the parotha in evening (Kerala speciality). Also he is famous for a special herbal tea he makes only in the morning. Note: There are no branches. It's a cash only place and there are takeaway option. No delivery however if you call him in advance he does keep a parcel which you can pick up.
Best place for fresh Kerala food at reasonable price, quick service, taste is good. No place to seat. Better to take a way. Must try dish is Appam.
No place to sit here. Food taste is really nice. No digital payment as far as I know. Only cash. No separate car or bike parking. All instructions are to those who roams here n there to have tasty breakfast. So keep these things in mind and visit.
Best thing is they have digital payments. Appam with fish curry, chicken curry, egg curry. You also get parathas. Masala are very rich. Felt fish was not fresh.
Very tasty food, Must try appam and chicken curry
Get ready to be taken back to God's own Country. Amazing taste. Appam with fish curry was just like home.
Don't expect a restaurant like scene. You'll have to stand or sit in your vehicle. But it's totally worth it.
Must try appam n chicken curry.. for veggies veg stew is better than kadla curry
Nice place for some good Kerala food.
Very reasonable rates as the side dishes are good for the piece range.
Not much place to sit and eat but good for takeaway.
It's run by a single man and he is super fast in preparing the appams.
