Basaveshwar Khanawali is what it is now. I too went looking for my favourite Pai Restaurant and saw a new name in place. I asked the security near the gate and he told me Jolada Roti oota is available here too and food is good.
I asked the cashier inside and he told me that due to some lease expiry of Pai these people have taken a lease.
The food here too is great and I was told that there was another restaurant down the road. I loved the jolada roti's and the green gram palya. The brinjal curry and the sweety pickle too was great. On my way back I bought some sweet lime pickle and some chutney pudi.
A great meal after a long time. Lovely North Karnataka food in the heart of Namma Bengaluru. Go for it. You will not regret. Hope they maintain the same consistency. Good Luck guys !
One of the best South Indian Thalis ever tasted. We were given options of Malabar Parota, Chappati or Poori. The dishes were served on a steel platter with two side dishes, vegetable biryani, curd, rice, sambhar , Rasam and buttermilk. The vegetable biryani and peas side dish were very good. The entire meal was economic.
