Good food and good atmosphere of resutrant but service is slow... But we will visit again here. 😊
Iconic is the word.
Vintage is the ambience.
Comforting is the service.
Divine is the taste.
That's Metropole for you.
A legacy restaurant started in 1960s which is like a beautiful Kerala kitchen with South Indian food and Kerala meals as it's speciality.
I tried the Kerala fish meal which has boiled rice, rasam, karela sabzi, pickle, papad, sambhar and fish curry 🐠🐠
On the side, I was recommended 'oyster fry' by the restaurant guy and I went ahead to try it.
Mind = Blown 😋
What a beauty.
I also had a grape juice and it was nothing like I've ever tasted before. So good! ❤️
I will totally recommend this place for it's easy on your pocket and amazing on your heart.
Best place to have awesome quick lunch for the reasonable prices with an awesome Combo's. Ambience is Good , variety of foods have been added. Makes this place a memorable one. Taste is yummy.. And price is reasonable... Overall the Dishes were really good.

Excellent food, best choice of Kerala food different types of fish varieties, Indian, chinese, tandoori.pricing is reasonable, very nice service keep it up.
This was one of the places that you have to visit at a Bangalorean... Least on my friend's list. So we managed to hop in there for a quick lunch. Metropole is what Imperial was about 15 years ago... Small, tucked in between two shops. Quick, efficient service and decent food.
The prices seemed a little high for the kind of place... But the fish was fresh, the curries were good 'nuf and the place was clean. What more could one ask for?
Been to this awesome place after the google review, will recommend to all the foodies to try this awesome food spot in Shivajinagar. The Biriyani is as sweet as their hospitality. God bless .

The food was very nice...you'll get kerala meals for 80rupees....family friendly.
Food is too good.i loved it very much
Nice place for a birthday party with a very very low budget
Edit: Avoid visiting on Sunday/early morning as the chutney may not be the best. Egg dosa, chutney, sambar are EXCELLENT. Did not expect homemade taste from here but that’s what it was. Better than other South Indian food establishments.
Tasty foods at affordable price
