We'd been looking for a place to have coffee on early Sunday morning and tired of looking at closed places we stopped here. The operations hadn't completely started but we got served with piping hot fresh soft idlis and super fresh coffee. The day was actually made by the staff who didn't raise a brow or frown before accomodating us.
Rest assured, the food is tasty.
Best for takeaway or ordering as the seating space won't be sufficient once the day progresses.

Raghavendra Tiffin is an example of a modern setup of a typical traditional Karnataka based Pure-Veg food joint. It is a much cleaner place, don't expect ambience here. Available foods are completely south indian. Crowded all the time. Best local food in this part of Bangalore, you can find the flavours of Basavanagudi and Malleswaram here..,.
If you are a fan of South Indian food especially breakfast, visit this place once. Pocket friendly prices for, tasty food and clean premises. Its a self service fast food joint. I loved their millet bisi bele bath and dosa. Will try more dishes, since my new work place is close to this joint.
Patted myself on the back for deciding to go here. Tried khara bhath, vade and mini masale dosay. Khara bhath was ghee laced smelling amazing, could've used a bit more spice though. Vade was very good and still retained crispiness even though it was cold. Sambar was udupi style as opposed to what you get in Bangalore fast foods, thin in consistency, heavy chunks of vegetables and full of flavor. Masale dosay is something that probably would made people come back again and again. Intoxicating taste, right amounts of red chutney lining and onion potato palya, right amount of oil and ghee. Went really well with chutney. Coffee had a good aroma but given the good was great expectations were high on coffee and wasn't met. I'm sure it would meet in future. Entrance is small but leads to self service hall, food served on dried areca plates. Would love to take my family there often. Thank you Raghavendra tiffin.

This place is not like usual hotel look. It is narrow small place, but having said that the food served here is top notch taste in terms of quality and quantity.
The serving area is clean and neat. Highly crowded at tiffin and lunch time.
Today I happened to be at this area and seeing the reviews I tried Peeni with milk, Sambar rice, lemon rice and puliyogare combo. The taste is awesome.
Nothing to pin point and say. Good work. I am completely blown by their food taste and pocket friendly rates.

We get puliyogare, lemon rice, wada, puri, varieties of dosa, rice combo, sweets, tea, coffee, bisi bele bath and many more south Indian dishes.
There is a bit less place to sit inside, but there is a long bench on the way out where you can sit to have your quick meal.
Lovely place for thindi in HSR layout. They have standard masal dosE varieties, idli, vadE and khara+kesaribbaths. In addition they also have millet masal dosE (doesn't taste very different though ;)). They have a huge chutney container from which customers can replenish their plates ;) they also sell a few dry snack items. Food is tasty, fresh and reasonably priced. They also have lunch meals during lunch hours from 12 to 330pm. Their ravE idli is great!
I had yummy Rice Bath and Vada at Raghavendra Tiffin. The Rice Bath was full of tasty spices and the Vada was crispy outside and soft inside, perfectly matched with chutney. It felt like a great South Indian meal😋
Dosa was super crispy 👌, u should definitely try there's nariyal rava laddu that was really good.. Recommend ✅
Just a perfect place to visit for authentic South Indian restaurant. Though the coffee i didn't liked much might be I am not a strong coffee person but overall the place is a good choice for south Indian dishes.

* Speciality breakfast is: Thatte Idli and Millet Masala Dosa (All items are served in Areca Palm Leaf - Use and throw hard leaf)
* Within rice items for breakfast like Lemon rice, Puliogare (Tamarind rice), Vegetable bath, ..... one can prefer to go with a combo Ex: Half Lemon rice and Half Puliogare
* One can also choose sweets like Badam Puri, Jahangir Sweet, Coconut Holigi, e.t.c
* Do not forget to order super good Coffee / Ginger Tea after breakfast :)

Had ordered millet pudi plain dosa and rava idly . Dose was good and rava idly was very soft unlike other restaurants serving fatty & hard rave idly . They serve food in arecanut plates which is organic and plastic free
Millet Masala Dosa + Millet bisi bele bath + Lemon rice must a try option. Tastes like home made food. Neatly maintained.
Popular joint for elderly, all items are decent and many millet options. The food is value for money and. Tea and coffee are made fresh. There is enough place to sit and it gives out canteen vibes
