I went to this place couple months back.. travelled about 20kms to get to this place but it was totally worth it! Sangam mess won't disappoint you at all. Kerala parotta, beef roast, prawns curry, fish biryani, chicken stew is definitely a must try! Loved the cozy place, the ambience and the people are warm and welcoming too.
The packaging and the portions size was amazing.
Authentic Keralan food. The Kappa Biryani is a 10/10. Worth the money and leaves your taste buds tingling.
Food so great that I wanted to organize a hartal so that the great Mallu chetanmaar at Sangam can get a day off from work.
There are many Mallu restuarants in Bangalore masquerading as some genuine Mallu restuarant. (Ente Keralam, I'm looking at you, Yes you, Stand up and get out house) Sangam Mess isn't one of them.
A signature dish I ordered from there was the humble Steam Cake and Black ChickPeas in roasted Coconut milk gravey. (നമ്മുടെ പുട്ടും കടലയും എൻ്റെ അളിയാ). It's simple yet could shut up Chef Ramsey himself. The chetanmaar here might not appearing in any MasterChef Australia shows any time soon. Infact they don't need that kind of adulation. Like the food they too are humble and sim'b'le.
So, go ahead and blindly order that Beef fry and Parotta you always wanted to order.
One of the tastiest restaurant around bangalore. I ordered kerala porotta and beef roast ant it was really good. I felt like i bought it from my hometown itself.
One of the bests in and around Kammanahalli for a nice homely kind of food and meals. Very good place for sea food and Kerala cuisine. I regret not knowing about this place earlier. Very neat and clean place. Service takes a little time but served hot. Highly recommended

Really good food for a mallu mess. It felt much cleaner than other Mess’ that I have visited. Surprisingly, they did not have egg roast to go with Kerala porotta considering there might be ppl who do not eat meat. The fish curry they gave with Rice did not taste good. That was the only drawback. Also belted Unniyappam which is a snack and it was super tasty n soft.
Sangam Mess makes everyone want to come back. I have no count of how many times I have always been coming back owing to their delicious food. Its also worth paying for the food that one buys from there. They ensure that all their customers are treated well. Ambience is too good for the Kerala crowd. Its worth a visit. :)
Lovely home style kerala food. Sundays are crowded so better go early! The veg meal was excellent!!! But it would be good if served a little hot :) chicken could have been more flavourful!! Value for money place. Very budget friendly and wholesome food!
. Good Kerala food
. Egg curry was waterish, 3/5
. Puttu was good 5/5
. Aappam was 4/5, slightly sourish
. Coffee was 4/5
. Tea was 2/5... Poor taste
. IdiAppam was really good 5/5
. But Kadala Curry was 3/5 only
. Service was average
. Food items were brought quickly
. But, all items were cold.
. ♿ ❌ Due to steps
. Still, value for money
I came here with my friend for food. It’s very authentic place for Kerala food. I couldn’t eat because I was eating vegetarian food. But my friend was happy with the foo. You should give a try this place. It’s also budget friendly.
Budget friendly mess servers authentic Kerala food. Best place to try Kerala food. The taste is awesome. You will get usual kerala food stuffs like appam dosa puttu chappathi porotta and various veg and non veg curries. Chicken, fish and egg are the options available for non veg. Great Place to Have Homely Kerala Meals with Fresh Sea food. Price is really cheap and the quality of food is really good. It's a must visit place for all Bangalore malayalese.
It's very crowded. I went at 1:30; I didn't have a place. to sit and wait for a longer time, I didn't get a place I left from there and am giving it a rating of 5 because I don't know how the food was, but the crowd says it's good. Next time I visit, I will write a genuine review, but I had photos and videos that I took when I went, attaching images and videos.
Sangam Mess offered an exceptional dining experience with its authentic Kerala-style cuisine at affordable prices. The delectable dishes showcased the rich flavors of Kerala, creating a delightful culinary journey. The restaurant's peaceful ambiance, complemented by soothing songs, added to the overall enjoyable and memorable dining experience.
The was very fantastic and they have a large varieties of kerala cusine options and the food was very good. The staffs are very friendly and their attitude towards the customers is also very nice. The only problem you might face will be the parking. Keeping it a side other all factors gives a perfect kerala food experience in Bangalore.
The place is really crowded on weekends.
But the quality and taste is worth the wait!
We had meals, erachi dry fry and kilimeen fry.
A bit costly compared to the normal kerala messes at Bangalore, but 5 star for the taste!
Good meals for boiled rice sambar fanatics. Tasty sambar and sides. Chutney was super and unlimited moru awesome. Fish curry had dry fish aroma and taste is an acquired taste.
Fish and other dishes are good as well. Puttu kadala, Kappa Biriyani erachi all are adipoli.
There were occasions when it was a miss and no proper waiting or token system during peak hour. Otherwise all fine especially the servers speaking fluent Malayalam.
Yummy authentic kerala style restaurant in midst of Karnataka flavours...
Must try their veg kerala meals and fish curry....
And meen polichadhu is the show stealer....
