This restaurant is very economical for quick breakfast. Service is quick as well as food is tasty. Price is very reasonable like 30 Rs for idli plate. They serve hot and fresh breakfast. Worth try for South indian dishe lovers like upma masala dosa idli vada sambar.

Value for money 5/5
Located opp Martha's hospital, this is a boon for people craving a good breakfast. The idli was super soft and complimented with tasty chutney and sambaar, but the show stopper was the Vada. Crisp on the outside and fluffy and soft on the inside - easily one of the best I've eaten in over 40 years of breakfasts all over South India. Perfectly balanced filter coffee to top it off.
Totally recommended !
This is my place for lunch and evening snacks for last five years. Head to this place for a quick, pocket friendly lunch and snacks. Though choice is limited, quick turnaround is an advantage here.
Tucked in the old world charm of Bengaluru... This garden restuarant lives up to Perfect old world ambience of Garden restaurants... The endangered ones now existing. The menu is a bit on the up for pricing but the Quality is reasonable. Timings work basically for working people and visitors from the commissioners office. The Parota and Chana masala sells like hot cakes. Dosas are super crisp and try the Open Dosa and Rava onion dosa. The Chinese was once a seller but now lost its charm. A restuarant with a separate eating section and service section (charges are significantly higher though). And endangered breed of hotels soon disappearing , so you can visit for a decent south Indian fare.
Pocket friendly Restaurant. Ambience and seating is very good. Open ambience and outdoor seating. Can find all the government officers here in the lunch time. Usually crowded in afternoon.
Ordered Bele obbattu, chole bhatura, akki and ragi rotti , bisibele bath and puri saagu .
Their bele obbattu is extra ordinary , it's very sweet and aroma of the obbattu is spread all over the restaurant.
And they are famous for preparing chole bhatura , it's just yummy and no words. Akki and ragi rotti also tasted good. Their red Chutney served with rotti's taste fantastic. Bisi bele was served hot , as it's name says. Overall a very good restaurant for lunch and a quick bite in the evening.
To add on: Please forget the concept of vehicle parking here , no parking is allowed as it's situated right opposite to bangalore city commissioner of police office. Should park vehicle in some where far away and should visit. If your working place is near by then it's well and good. Easily accessible to vidhan soudha, cubbon park and Cunningham road ( Avg 5 mins walk) .
So we came here today for lunch, man I must say this place is super packed, it took us almost 20 mins to get a table. This is a pure veg restaurant.
I ordered the holige roti (sweet roti) which was really good, had some ghee over it.
Ordered the akki roti - this was very filling and satisfying. Really good food.
The bise bile baat was nice, quantity was a little less. But yes after eating so much I guess it was fine.
The service inspite of being full was pretty decent, orders took about 8mins.
A little expensive for these kind of dishes.
Another calm, laid back Bangalore flavoured destination. Oozing with nostalgia. Perfect stop over for thindi, quick bites, chats and stellar coffee. Thatte idlis recently introduced fare well too. Talked about for its famous dosas, melting Channa batura and popular meals during noontime. Super efficient staff, no fuss service make it a big hit with office goers in the vicinity. Lives up to my friends quirky theory that a restaurant that's situated smack opposite the Police Commissioners Office can't dare go wrong on basics. Oh yes, must tell you.. this is the only modest food joint, serving noteworthy fare along the whole stretch that curves in from Raj Bhavan all the way to the next signal at coffee board.
One of the oldest hotels u find in that area... variety of choices and items served... you even have service facility here... bonda soup is a must try here along with pani puri... can take this as a good quick bite places around...
Need a authentic bangalore food, you must visit here.
They have amazing range of snakes and breakfast menu, their mus try are1. Holige with ghee2. Akki roti3.Raagi roti
They also have a rage of sweets that are too near to home made. Carrot halwa is my all time fav!Visit and enjoy !
This is an economical goto place for local fare & ambience. A hotspot for the office workers in the area. I absolutely loved the UBUT ( which is sweetened flat bread stuffed with Jaggery & lentils). This is worth a visit and to eat fresh off the griddle...
Tasty south Indian food with 2 kinds of service. One is self service and the other side of the restaurant is a table service. Self service is preferably best if you need the food quickly available to you. Other aspect of self service is the billing is also different . Pricing is little expensive if table service is preferred . Excellent dosa Vada idly rumali roti akki roti ragi roti holige etc highly recommended holige..
Food is very tasty over here.. lot of options are available.. Akki roti, holige were quiet good..
I recently dined at Nisarga Garden, and it was an absolute delight for my taste buds. This vegetarian restaurant exceeded all my expectations in every way.
The ambiance was calming and inviting, with lush greenery all around. It felt like a hidden oasis in the city. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making our dining experience truly enjoyable.
Now, let's talk about the food. Oh my goodness, the flavors! Each dish we ordered was a masterpiece. From the appetizers to the desserts, the attention to detail and use of fresh, locally-sourced ingredients were evident.
The menu offered a wide range of options, from traditional favorites to creative, innovative dishes. The chef's talent in blending spices and textures was remarkable. I highly recommend trying their [mention a specific dish you enjoyed].
Portions were generous, and prices were reasonable for the quality of food and service provided.
Whether you're a devoted vegetarian or just looking to explore plant-based dining options, Nisarga Garden is a must-visit. It's a haven for food enthusiasts who appreciate delicious, cruelty-free cuisine.
I can't wait to return to Nisarga Garden and savor more of their delectable dishes. It's a place where vegetarian dining reaches its pinnacle.
Enjoy your visit!
Feel free to modify and personalize this review based on your own experience at the vegetarian restaurant you visited.
Nisarga hotel does not need any introduction or a review from my end as it is one of the best known veg restaurants in Bangalore. Had vada sambar and akki rotti from here after almost 4 years. Food was good nothing to complain as such except the thickness of akki rotti (little thinner than i expected).
Food was to excellent and hotel maintenance was good
Need to try buter masala dosa. If your a ghee lover.
One good thing is all vegetarian foods are available. They will prepare food based on our request.
Very good quality South Indian Food. Going there since many years. Courteous Staff & quality service. Thank you!
Tasty south Indian food One is self service and the other side of the restaurant is a table service. Excellent dosa Vada idly rumali roti akki roti ragi roti holige etc highly recommended.
This is a good vegetarian restaurant located in the perfect spot of Bengaluru. We tried South Indian meals (thali), Akki rotti and Ragi rotti. The rottis were served with butter, chatni and sagu. It was a perfect combo and tasted good. South Indian meals to say in one word was fulling. It was a complete meal with 4 pooris and sagu, rice, sambar, rasam, curd, palya, papad and gulab jamun. It costs Rs 110 per thali. Our overrall bill was 495Rs.
