As we had affiliations from Madurai union club, we stayed here. Centrally located all commercial attractions are located within walking distance. The place is lush green and with so many trees, well maintained.
The guest rooms were neat and the toilets were clean and well maintained. The complimentary breakfast was good. The entire campus is very spacious.
Bowring institute back then and now, has changed a lot, now it’s more attractive with many facilities. The club is now maintained very well than before and the development works are happening on a regular basis. The lawn area for dinner in the evenings is one of the best. Swimming pool is maintained well and hygienic. I would recommend you to visit the place once if possible through a member. The food specifically non veg food is very good here.
One of the best clubs in the middle of the city (CBD). About 4 acre campus. Good food quality, well equipped bar with all types of high-end liquor, they frequently have live gigs happening, during match days they have a very large led wall screening the matches. No cocktails available. Membership price is very high since it's in the city.

This place has a wonderful vibes and pairing it with the weather in Bangalore it's the perfect space to depend the afternoon to read a book, relax or catch up on work. I highly recommend the south Indian food here.
Nice place in the heart of the city had a chance to celebrate my parents 25th anniversary 17 years ago and had visited recently with my cousin. Food is good ambience is nice. Good place for a walk and enjoy the view. Night view is splendid. You need to be a member to enjoy other amenities however if you are affiliated member you get to stay in the rooms and food will be served outside the main building. Rooms are decent. Every Sunday they serve authentic muslim style biryani which is top of the world.

Had a visit to the Bowring club today and it was such a delightful experience. Present in the middle of the city is this aesthetic club. The post renovation looks are top class with ample choice for food and leisure. The food in the restaurant is very economical and is definitely a treat in itself. There are other options for food and lounging like the leather bar and Zed the baker.
It is a good club if you are considering for buying a membership. An ideal place to meet people to socialise and network and a good place for kids to pursue their extracurriculars.

I visited the Cigar lounge @ Bowring Institute. I tried the Rocky Patel Cigar along with Glen Livet single malt. Excellent ambience and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.
