A local friend guided me to this place for trying breakfast. Thate idly is very similar to regular idly but has a little different flavour and spongy and fluffy. Sambar and chutney were just amazing. Had such a great breakfast.

Classic "roti oota" place. You dont talk about ambience when it comes to places like these. Its all about the food.
Jowar roti, peas curry, green gram dal, brinjal curry, shenga chutney podi, onions, cucumber, papad, a dollop of benne, rice, sambar, curd, buttermilk, payasa, beeda.
All that served on a banana leaf. Unlimited Roti's and rice. The guy serving here was very attentive and made sure our leaf was full all the time.

Had gone to my health club near Majestic and it was raining too heavily to go to my favorite Marwari roadside dhaba. So this menu looked interesting so went to check it out around 9 pm Sunday

They serve unlimited North Karnataka jowar roti meals. Came with jowar roti with some butter, brinjal subzi, Masoor dal, another dry whole Masoor dal subzi, Rice, sambhar, dahi, Papad, buttermilk, Rasam, cucumber salad, Masoor dal-2 varieties, Pineapple Halwa. Jowar roti was soft and served piping hot and fresh not pre made. Brinjal was very good cooked with Rai and tomato gravy. Masoor Dal also good cooked with shallots, curry leaves and garlic, rai. Sambhar was udupi style with coconut and sambhar powder good but not up to the mark. Rasam was brown in color probably tamarind base so so.. Rice was nice soft fluffy. They had a ground lemon pickle which was unique and mouth watering. One good thing was that spice level was moderate unlike other places that put way too much chillies to curb consumption. Pineapple halwa was delicious with pineapple kismis cashews. Took a second helping for rs 10

Excellent meal for rs 90 . Healthy Nutritious Tasty Clean Unlimited. Jowar is gluten free and healthier and more nutritious than wheat. EKDAM PAISA VASOOL! !
Good North Karnataka food. The location of the hotel is bit inside. They prepare special foods on Sundays. Good place for families to enjoy food.
