I am a regular at this cozy outfit. Makai methi paratha done right. I like the sprout bowl too. In general the focus of the place is health(ier?) food. Wish they could get a bit creative with their maggi.
In search of a new accomodation with my pal we decided to take a lunch break. This place is situated beside egg story we ordered Poha and a fruit bowl. Fruit bowl is okayish with limited varieties and the poha wasn't good.
We chanced upon this place when we went to Bangalore One today and we were happy we did. We ordered -
Veg cutlet - this is one gigantic cutlet bordering on being a meal in itself. It was packed with veggies and aloo. Flavors were good. Only hitch was it was served cold.
Parathas - All their parathas are very generous with the filling, not very oily, served with dahi, spicy green chutney, sauce and aachar. We had -
Mixed (Aloo and Gobi) - very good
Aloo - Good however some of the spices in the filling tasted a bit raw
Gobi - Very good paratha brimming with cauliflower
Makka methi - A take on corn and spinach sandwich which turned out pretty decent with palak being the key flavor
Sattu paratha - The best paratha in their menu. Amazing flavor of the spiced up dal, perfect texture as well. Must try.
Cheesy veg sandwich - Very good with generous helpings of cucumber, tomato and cheese. The only thing to be corrected would be the hard bread sides
Apple shake - refreshing with fresh Apple used to flavor milk
Pannagam - strangely good. Kind of an aam panna but different.
Pricing was very competitive, place was small. Service was quick. They'll need to do something about the smoke from the kitchen coming out though.
