The snacks are good. The prices are reasonable. The staff are generally friendly. The lunch is OK, but could be better. The veg thali includes a huge bowl of rice - too much for most normal eaters. I suggest allowing people to give a small bowl of rice and allow people to choose extra roti, extra vegetables, extra curds, or extra rice instead. Also, serving evening snacks all day would make the place more attractive. Also consider serving a mini thali with no rice.
Really a wonderful place for having nominal and tasty food... The quantity & the quality offered is a perfect match for the price they charge... You find many awesome restaurants outside serving delicious food but still this is one restaurant which you can't ignore... May not be a must visit place but definitely a gud one...
I have been eating in this place from 2011. This is the best place to have good food in IISc campus. South thali and tandoori chicken are the best.
As I live in IISc campus, I know this place quite well. Mostly the people residing on campus and their friends/relatives have food here.
If it were five or six months back, I would have given this place 1 star. But now they have improved they quality of service and food.
It is also pocket friendly if one chooses the food items judicially.
However many of their curry items have similar taste. This is partly because of the use of a pre made gravy/masala.
Recommend special items - chicken cheese dum kebab Chili Fish, Manchow soup.
Nice place to hang out.. Very good service, and reasonable price.. Very good quality and excellent taste.. But quantity is low... Especially Manchurian are very tasty....very convenient for students...need to improve ambience...
Located in the IISc,Nesara , is Value for money.Their meals are not to be missed. The reason you should visit, they are reasonably priced without compromising on quality.Wonder why so many negative reviews!!! You have lived in Bangalore, visited restaurants here, then you would realise Nesara is definitely light on your pockets.
Hi guys I am also very regular guest of NESARA.now days the food quality is fantastic.service & Price is very very reasonable.l don't understand why the people are writing negative reviews tks good I am not a restaurant owner.if you have any complaints please call the management person.please don't spoil the reputation of restaurant lots of people are working
Excellent food quality at reasonable rates in plush green campus of Indian Institute of Bangalore. Breakfast, lunch dinner everything is great to go for. This restaurant is located near to entry gate and Central office building.
I would say since the dismantling of the ever popular eatery near the entrance, Nesara doesn't face any competition as such. All in all quiet place for vegetarian snacks and veggie meals in an atmosphere of academia & serves yhe purpose quiet well.
Nice and cozy family outlet in the IISC campus with decent food options for eating in 👌👌 Breathtakingly beautiful campus...drawback is that you need a friend with an ID who can take you in...find one...totally worth it.
One of the best restaurants which you will be able to find in this area at Indian Institute of science with the best of the prices that too , jawdropping one.Getting a fresh lime soda at Rs.14 or a masala DOHSA at Rs.20 is really unbelievable which you will able to find here ,also, one thing that add to this place is the ambience which we get here is more of a kind similar to that of maybe a premium restaurants where we can go with our family and freinds and have a good experience with their excellent staff and service
One of the cheapest and best option for breakfast in Indian Institute of Science for whom who wants a tummy full with healthy sumptuous food served on your plate with lots condiments.
Only vegetarian food available. Service is prompt.
Only good restaurant in IISc where you'll get gravy of same taste in every dish. It serves fishes and prawns apart from chicken and egg. But they don't know how to cook properly. Staffs are good but slow. Pricing is moderate, affordable.
Its the IISc indoor restaurent.. Prices are decent and taste is good. We tried chilli garlic veg noodles and dry gobhi munchurian.. Fresh farm Mango juice is good.
Delicious food with excellent service...this restaurant set in a quiet environment of IISc is a must to visit while being on campus..
This is a good option inside the IISc campus and the only one that serves non vegetarian dishes. The Dosa dishes are very tasty. The ambience is good reflecting the calm and serene IISc campus.
