It was a good experience visiting one for the road. The ambience is awesome. Went there with family and we had a great time. The food was very tasty. Even the mocktails were good. They have valet parking and separate parking space. The service was OK. Most importantly the DJ was awesome. One extra star for that. Cheers ✌️

Usually go to this place when I am in Kadugodi. Been many times during 2019. The food is good and liked there item 'chicken kukurooko'. It was different dish as there was chicken keema stuffing inside chicken. They have a dance floor where you enjoy dance.

A lively place with a good choice of food. Limited brews as they are still not fully opened up, but make up for it with the nice atmosphere and good music. Update Dec 2023. The place has expanded with new seating areas, a small dance floor and better music. The food is a bit of a hot or miss, but service is top.

Tried Chicken Cuckarakoo, Grilled Fish with Lemon Sauce and Chicken Tikka Pizza. Liked all of these. Cuckarakoo might not be everyone's favourite. Ambience is good.

I like the menu with variety of options for food and drinks. Food served at right time with delaying. The overall food tastes good. Though the food is mostly high in calories so keep a check on ur portion size. The music 🎶 & atmosphere is very welcoming. Overall a Good experience.

Visited last weekend with my friends, food not that great, loved the ambience and here is the place for drinkers also to dance. Drinks, not much available as per the market. Food has to improve little more. Not recommended!!

This is a Bar cum Restaurant. There are a lot of variety of liquor available. We went for a dinner with family. Food taste was awesome but felt little expensive for the quantity. Service was quick even though the restaurant was full. There was a dj n dance around 9 pm it started with party lights and music. There are 2 floors, Ground and 1st floor. 1st floor is where there was dj. The music was loud theought. The ambience would be little darker with very dull lights as there is a Bar and music inside. I will post some photos can have a look. One thing I didn't like which I saw people have taken their kids who are hardly 3-5 years old there. It will definitely impact them. So please don't go with your kids. We saw people celebrating birthday as well. So contact the restaurant if you are planning for. There is valet parking available. Thanks!

Nice place with very good food . Ambience is cosy , service is fast. Very decent resturant. I would to like to mention about their kind attitude. My 3 year old broke a glass accidentally but they did not charge for it. I will recommend everyone to go for it.Special mention to the variety of item available in the menu card and all the cusines taste equally good.

Ambience: (4/5)2 storeys along with option of outside seating with an option of dance floor on 1st floor. Ambience design is decent. Food: (5/5) Food is very tasty and reasonable. You get to chose a variety of options. Tried 3-4 combination and all were quite good . Bar(3/5). You get only one beer - Toit wheat beer. It's an improvement point for them. Cocktail was good. Price(5/5): value for money! Location (5/5): Location is good for me as I stay nearby. Situated on kadugodi main road. Recommended!

Visiting 'One For The Road' was an impromptu plan as we drive past this place nearly everyday, thought it was a new thing coming up but then I saw them delivering over Zomato and Swiggy. The food definitely was droolworthy in the pics so me and my wife thought that we would definitely pick this place up for an evening out. So, yesterday night when BLR was all soaked with rains, we moved out with family (my elderly mother and teen daughter) for a place to dine in! And then I just stopped in front of this place and went inside to confirm whether they allow kids n elderly people and with a smile the Lady at the reservations desk said, 'With utmost pleasure Sir'. Flick of a second I was out to my car, told my family that we are dining here. There is a valet service which comes in handy at a place which is situated bang on the main road. Went inside, me and my wife recced the place, and we settled down on the ground floor. The first floor has good seating and a dance floor too. The music was good and loud but wasn't an ear pricking ordeal! The place is dimly lit but suffices so that you don't bang onto other tables. The purser made us comfortable and placed the menu for us. We ordered a draught beer pitcher, a fresh lime soda and a virgin mojito with around 3 starters in the first round and 2 in the second round. In around 10 mins they served us the drinks with one starter and the rest followed in a couple of minutes. We had ordered a portion of classic salted fries, a chicken tikka and a chicken Caesar salad. And boy, it was all fab! -Chicken Tikka: Being a Delhi Guy and a chef myself, I can vouch for the chicken Tikkas they served, the best part was the portion size and the tikka being made from the Thigh cut rather than the usual chewy Breast cuts used mostly by all restaurants in bangalore. It seemed like they had curated a tasting session, but wait this was my first time I visited them and very less people in the hospitality circuit know me here in this city! So, the Chicken Tikkas definitely appeased our palates, the delhi wala guy was happy inside of me. -French Fries: The fries were done just the way it should be, golden and crisp. It was appropriately salted and paired with mayonnaise and ketchup. Surprisingly, the mayo was fab. Either it was an in-house prep or they chose the best one available, not sweet nor tangy but well balanced. -Salad: Chicken Caeser salad was the stealer, though I missed the sun dried tomatoes and a few bacon bites therein. But again that's a personal preference! The Caesar dressing was just so balanced with the taste and texture, and that hint of garlic was so apt that I actually polished (read scraped) off the bowl with my spoon. It was finger licking delicious. -Tandoori Prawns: Liked the way they served it, simple yet photogenic. They were cooked to perfection with a well blended medium spicy marination. Not chewy at all and that made my daughter smile ear to ear as in out family we both are the only sea food people. -Mutton Seekh Kebab: Well this was a major disappointment, not from the taste standpoint but the texture and immense dryness which made a mutton lover like me utterly disappointed. But then the flavours were intact, the eatery just needs to work upon making them softer and juicier. In the mains we ordered a portion of Schezwan noodles and Penne in arrabiata sauce. The noodles were done just perfect for our palates (no special requests were made). The arrabiata sauce could have been better and we would have enjoyed the pasta even more. The garlic toasties paired alongside the pasta were toasted and buttered perfectly. All in all it was an evening well spent, with great food and good chilled draught for me. And trust me it did not even burn a hole in the pocket. haha 😄. Surely visiting again. Awesome work team @ One For The Road. PS: This is not a paid review and solely based upon my dining experience. The bills were paid off by us and no complimentary meals were added by the restaurant.
