Was strolling around for some work in the area and was hunting for a place to have lunch. Vakulaa is a typical south Indian restaurant but its specialty is its Andhra touch to the dishes. We ordered south Indian meal, it was a regular meal but peanut chutney and Pappu were just amazing for the price.

Another restaurant which serves quite tasty authentic south indian food. We tried idly dipped in fresh sambar along with white chutney and lemon rice which was delicious.Tea & coffee was also good. Almost all food items is reasonably priced and this restaurant is worth trying.

Good restaurant. Had ordered breakfast and it was good. Chef had put up lots of effort to prepare the fish, so it would be inappropriate to comment on the taste. But a good one!

A good place for breakfast and lunch.
No dine-in facility, but you have standing table eating available here.
Good for South Indian cuisine and you may try anything which the offer in this cuisine.

Must try : Rawa onion dosa, Bisi Belle Bath and filter coffee.

The best place for South Indian dishes it's pocket friendly too and the ambience not that good, try masala dosa it's good in here and with bonda soup the perfect combination.

I visit several time just Fr Pongal and Bonda soup. The best 2 dishes . Pongal is accompanied by Raitha and tangy gravy , tangy gravy is the best combination fr pongal. Bonda soup is spicy yet delicious and if u have cold best soup to drink. Last madur vada is also good but I liked pongal and bonda soup more.

Excellent!

Ordered idli and masala dosa. They have good food packing and taste was awesome. Idlies were fresh considering I ordered late. Chutney and sambar were good. Quantity of sambar provided was less for 10 idlies. May be need to relook into the portion sizes. Good food, tummy full. VFM 5 on 5,packaging 5 on 5, taste 5 on 5.

I've ordered in. Excellent chutney and khali dosa. Amazing packing and open to customisations. I do not eat onion and garlic and Mr Jagadish was patient and told me what all I could order online that met that criteria.
And yea - I called at 7 am and the phone was picked up. Full marks for professionalism!

The place is really well located and food was really yum! We had Carrot halwa and Gobi Manchurian which was really yum. The service was quick and efficient. Overall a really good place.

This review is based on online order.I had ordered Masala dosa and pongal.

Masala dosa was good especially both chutneys.Red chutney inside dosa and the green chutney.

Only Pongal was ok but with raitha it tasted better.

Packing was good and Also its Pocket friendly.

Amazing place in Jayangar for South Indian food. Inexpensive and Tasty. There's always some crowd and is very popular among students. They also sere best Tea/Coffee. Staff is friendly and atmosphere is good.

The food was good and the place was good as well. The only problem is they accept only cash. Sometimes if you are hungry and you don't have cash then it will be a problem. Other than that it was good. I would not say the place was clean but it's was okay.

An inexpensive and hygienic place for grabbing a quick tasty breakfast. I visit this place frequently and have tried almost every item on menu. Also, I found the filter coffee here to be one of the best, certainly way better than Adiga's or UD's.
