Coming from the stable of Local and Jimis, this place had a lot of expectations to live upto even before I entered.I was more than impressed with the pretty extensive food options ( especially the pizza range...highly recommended). Loved all the food options and the superbly priced drinks ( did not expect anything different). GB has a lovely ambience and great service. Been there a couple of times already and will definitely be going back
It's a great place to relax and kick back with friends and colleagues.Amazing Pizzas and drinks at pocket-friendly rates.The fact that it was Jimis for a long time is a definite Nostalgia factor.All in all, a cool hangout spot.Don't miss out!!

Located right opposite kormangala bus stand.
The place has a pretty Ambience with an outdoor smoking zone.
They do have a limited food menu .
We called for draught beer which was served fresh .
Coming to the food we tried the
1) tossed sausages: stir fried with Indian touch, this is one of the must try out here.very well done dish
2) pepper beef: not exactly done the Kerala way, but not bad at all.
3) pizzas: loved their wood fire pizzas, I tried the greca and it was done so well. Lovely toppings ,generous amount of cheese and served hot!!!
The service was awesome as well, waiters were very attentive to the crowd.
PS: they have beer pitcher priced at 350/ from 11-7 pm.

This place is new I guess and I tried it last Friday! It has great ambience, a good vibe , the bar is really full! I mean it has all possible types of alcohol. Pizzas are really good, specially thin crust. Fried momos is another thing that can be tried. It was really tasty.
The disappointing thing was that we couldn't eat anything from tandoor coz they said it would take time and even when we told it's ok, they weren't that keen on making it I guess coz I it was quiet that time may be. Also, not much variety with respect to food, a very selective menu! For wine lovers, not much option actually. They first said no for wine if we want zomato gold to be applied which we didn't quite get but then he agreed later when we asked why and all.
I am definitely visiting this place once more to try more food items ! :) Overall, for sure a one time visit!

I have a special spot for this place in my heart. I can stay here by myself and the staff is so courteous. They take special care for people who are here quite often but that does not hold them back on service and quality for any new person who visits this place. The food is good and liquor too. Special mention to the owner and staff who make sure they spend extra 2 minutes to engage with you if you are alone. Of you love old school bars with good music then this the place to be at.

I rarely ever leave 5 star reviews but this one's going to be a biased one. I live a few hundred meters away from this place and it has consistently been one of the few places I can go to and be sure to have a good time.
The ambience is cozy, the staff are sweet and friendly. The place is kept tidy and there's also the pool table you can go a few rounds at.
The prices have always been extremely pocket friendly and the food being served meets expectations.
Whether you're going in the evening to wind down or just catching up with a few friends at night,. Gorilla Barfare has it all.

Organized a school Alumni Karaoke Night here. Rajiv and his team were super helpful. It was a fabulous evening! Went through without any hassle.
I wish here the last weekend and I totally loved the Margarita slush they make. Among their numerous flavours I like the Irish coffee, the strawberry punch. The food is great as well I had the crispy corn, the loaded nachos, the Paneer chilly which was my favourite and a couple of type of pizzas. The Ambience is very good n very well lit and the services courteous as well. It is right below the local in the same building. Due to lack of presence of the board it is difficult to find it should just look for the Gorilla sign.

How many of you remember the crazy and wild form of fighting named Gorilla Warfare ? Well here I'm with a crazy Restobar from Koramangla named similarly as Gorilla Barfare .
Let me guide you guys how to reach this place ,this the same place which used to be Jimi's Beef Cafe on 80ft main road towards Vivek Nagar and below the Local:The Terrace Drinkey !
With newly made interiors and an open ground floor deck ,the place has ample space and seating is comfortable with wooden chairs and we'll painted walls ! The outer deck is really interesting ,you can sit here and watch the pizza being made on their wood fire oven ! I really appreciate the care taken by the bar to go a step ahead and install rails to rest our feet when sitting on their high raised platforms ,well thought out ! Good stuff !
Coming to the food ,tried their new cocktail and mocktail menu here ,this is the first place in namma Bengaluru which has come up a slush machine to be added to the drinks ,this slush adds in a new dimension to the otherwise drinks !
The Watermelon margarita was neatly presented with a watermelon piece but as far as I'm concerned this drink would have been a bigger blast of the amount of slush used in it were to be less and also the Tequila quantity was also a little on the more side ,also tried their signature and newly introduced cocktail IRISH COFFEE ,which is an espresso shot missed with slush and ac whiskey shot ,amazing didn't even feel like you are consuming alchohol ,this is a must and should try here ,anyone who goes here and missed this have missed the total charm of this place !
Coming to what I ate ,tried their dessert pizza ,loaded with starwberries banana ,Nutella and mint leave ,it tasted good and was also light on stomach also their farmhouse pizza was having a similar go with olive broccoli and tomatoes , awkwardly the base of the pizza was made using a rolling pin ,this was the first time I saw it , probably thats the reason why the crust on my farmhouse pizza was a bit hard compared to the dessert pizza ! Also tried a serving of Panner Tikka ,well made and tatsed good and satisfying and really spicy and also corn chilli pepper was really crispy and well seasoned again satisfying and yum ! The only complain u have here was to have the pizza base made by hand and a little thick with more cheese on the pizzas!
Also veg nachos were good ,the chips we're not the dorritos which they serve in other places ,I guess it's made in house topped with salsa ,sour cream and cheese ,really well made and yum !
Overall the experience was good ,the best time to go here is the mid evenings or weekend nights !

Whether I would visit them again ? - A 100 % yes ,I just loved their IRISH COFFE!

One amazing place I must say! Let me make it clear, this is on the ground floor while local is above this. A lot of people don't actually know this. So ya, coming to the ambience, it's lit! It has a sitting area outside which is open and amazing in the afternoons. And there is also an area inside which is closed.

I visited this place post lock down, the food is amazing here .Must try their pork and chicken chilli. The Pizza made in wooden oven is also good here.
