I order their food quite often. PothiChoru - Looks messy? That's Kerala meals wrapped in a slightly toasted plantain leaf. Before the ages of tiffin boxes and lunch boxes, food was parcelled like this and carried to work. What looks like a messy parcel is a nutritious meal of RedRice, FishFry, Ladies finger fry, green gram dal fry, snake gourd kootu, omelette and papad. Sambar too. It was just yummmm to mix it up and enjoy the meal. So simple, subtle flavors yet fulfilling
Staying so close to lungees, this place has become a usual ordering place if we need Kerala cuisine. Main reason being there's not much option on our road where we get descent Kerala food. I normally like their weekend special items as compared to their regular weekday items. Pothichoru used to be very good initially. But now the quality has degraded. I must say their best dish anytime will be erachi fry. It's as perfect as it can be. Malabar Biriyani is also tasty. Try their kappa(tapioca) fish curry if you are a fan of Kappa. Looking for a kerala food joint place in Sarjapur road area, you can always give a try at Lungees. You won't be disappointed.
Had been here last week with my wife and friends. First things first. No place to park cars. We were in 2 dusters and had no place to park car. No toilets. If u holding your pee thinking you can’t empty your bladder here, wrong place. You will have to depend on the petrol bunk nearby. This is a small joint, and can’t accommodate bigger groups. We were lucky as no one else was in the shop and we jus occupied almost all the seats.
Food: have tried wide variety of food which includes: appam, parrota, biriyani chapatis and veg meals. All turned out to be good. BEEF fry was the highlighter. We have ordered 3 plates to have it there and and carried 3 as parcel. The taste was yummy and mouth watery even now when I am writing this.
Have seen few reviews of non Kerala friends writing bad reviews about the biriyani. Hence decided to clear that with this feedback. If you are a Keralite, you’ll love the food. Nothing exceptional, but an average place. Beef fry alone will score a 5 star.
getting better every day.keep it up
Recommended delivery man reached before 20 mints. Without any calls
If you are a beef and kerela food lover..like the fishes wrapped in banana leaf and the beef fry/ beef biryani...then this is the best place!! and the only problem is food gets over fast!! everyday!! and price is lil on high end when u are ordering daily!!
quantity l is less for the price
Authentic kerala small resturant with amazing varieties of cuisine. Try paal porota ,piidium kazhiyum..chati churu ,kangji with maanga pickle for noon..limited seating ..you may try ordering online as well..(but most of them are prepared then and served hot)...must try ..
Truly authentic Kerala style, we waited almost 15 minutes to get a seat and after having the food I realized it is totally worth it even if I wait hours for the food.
The chatti chor was like a trailer - which gave me the idea of how good their food was. We also tried meals, kanji and payar , pothu ularthiyethu. They have paid close attention to each and every item. Special comment on their payasam along with meals, I have seen most of the restaurants serve it for namesake but Lungeess was exceptional. It was really really good.
Passion fruit juice and nannari sarbath is another must try if you still have some space to accommodate after the heavy meal 🤣🤣
Very Good Kerala restaurant. Less crowded but unmatched taste. Must try.
Nice ambience and Medium sized restaurant. Must try - Pidiyum kozhiyum. Parotta and chicken curry combo was good. Slightly overpriced for the portion sizes.
Amazing place . Prolly the best place in the city to have authentic kerala food . Being a vegetarian they had good number of veg options I had Appam and kadala which was delicious . The lady who manages the place is very nice . Very well kept place . Really amazing ambience .
Really you want to enjoy Kerala authentic food, no second thought

Daily, I have lunch at this place and I normally order veg meals as the sambar tastes good and they server different sabiji each day. Today I tried a different dish which is called Paal parotta and it tasted so good. I like beef and coconut milk and this dish comprised both with parotta. Must try!
Good Kerala restaurant in this area.
Food taste and quality is good.
The spice level in foods are on the higher side.
Rightly priced.
I liked Koth porotta, chatti choru, meals, biriyani, juice items.
I didn't like paal porotta and fish fry.
Very limited seating capacity (4 tables).
The restaurant is not open on Mondays.
No car parking facility. But, usually there will be enough space to park on the street.
Loved it ♥️ price is bit high as compared to other Kerala restaurants nearby.
Good for family dinner 😊
Must try and I can vouch for the quality and quantity of food. Love the people, music, ambience and most of all the food. So much love to the chef and can't wait to come here again. Came here alongwith my North Indian friend and he was aww struck with the spices and color of the food.
#Yummy food tummy full.
