Earlier this restaurant was called as Vanani Restaurant, now its been renamed to Castle Rock.
I used to visit this place quiet frequently 3-4 years before as it was pocket friendly & even now the rates haven’t been hiked up.
The prices are reasonable and people visit here for mountain like ambience.

Castle Rock have a nice theme, its ambience is of cave and garden with bamboo sticks. Awesome place to take some cool pics.

I like this place more because of the jungle n cave theamed interiors. They offer candle light dinners..There is paras kebab wch is very different in taste.

I have only ordered from here and never dined as it's just a stone trow away from my place.. The kalmi kabab and the paneer tikka are a must try. Their chicken Biriyani is OK too. The chicken gravies are below par. Veg curried too. The kalmi kabab is their biggest hit...
Vanani is on the busy road of Uttarahalli and is not very difficult to find. It is a jungle themed restaurant, which is a little hard to guess from the exteriors. The restaurant is on the first floor and the beautifully done staircase leads you to the main area. The place is filled with artificial trees, pathway, birds and even a cave with a table (my favorite dining place in this restaurant). Do not miss out on the hand wash area where the water seems to flow down from a rock and is a treat for kids.
The food is very average and please do not have high expectations from this place. Do try and order more of starters than the main course and completely skip the desert.

Ambience is really good. Hospitality by the staff creates comfort to hang around. Very innovative model of forest within. Night will also be good is my strong feeling. Even kids have their own chair. There are few not live birds which are really good. Food can be served better. Over all my family enjoyed ambience. My little son was happy that was main important.

This is one of the best restaurant I can say in Bangalore, for the price !!!
Earlier, the rates were very competitive unfortunately recently they have increased the prices!.

I had my daughter's first b'day celebrated here. There were 32 guest , we had sufficiently and the bill was around 11,000 Rs and I got some 10% discount as well. This was in Aug 2011.
Place is good for couple and family.. Dim lights with all artificial leaves and branches made to look like some forest ambience.. Food is little taste is good but could be better for the price they charge
the best Interior ever I saw in Bengaluru, it's like mini forest you can enjoy dinner with your family. Services battle slow but manageable. Rate is bit costly
The Interior looks like an artificial garden. Suitable for candle light dinner. Very attractive atmosphere. Food is like ok-ok taste. Biriyani is not tasty here.
Very good experience... reasonable and tasty food ... ambience is really good..... they will arrange candle light dinner also... very good place to enjoy with group of frnds you can find saparate room for group if you are around 8 to 10 ppl.. you can sit together.
