Amaravathi B&R is a safe bet if you are in the vicinity of Jayanagar and looking for good South Indian non vegetarian food Over the years the original menu has changed and a couple of rustic style seafood has been discontinued however the prices are great & the service smooth
There is a garden bar on the top floor for evening patrons which during afternoon are open for lunch only; so we did notice women coming in with their male colleagues for lunch

Good nati style food with alcohol! Simple well maintained place. A must visit if you crave for local nati food or want to do a beer-biryani lunch on a lazy Sunday afternoon in Jayanagar.
Never miss to taste plain boti fry. Sometimes the supplier says not available but talk to the owner at cash counter to get it. Not for family. Nice place to enjoy food and drinks with your friends.
Good non vegetarian restaurant just opposite to East End Bus Stop. They serve delicious and tasty hygiene food at reasonable rate. The ground floor is purely food while other two floors offers bar facility too. Not a frequent visitor but when we go we make the best out of it. Their Biriyani is top class and next best is Boti fry. I am surprised that this place does not deserve the visibility it deserves online but it does got crowded even on normal days. Just forget their ambience and enjoy their food.

Great Bar! Clean!! Good service. Food is excellent!! Non vegetarian food is yummy!! Budget friendly as well!!!! The kebab/lollipop (chicken) is delicious!
Good for military food!! Raagi mudde and simple South Indian meals!! The mutton keema balls has a good review, but personally I don’t like it...... maybe it’s me!
One of a popular eatery in Jayanagar and known for serving great non vegetarian dishes.
They are pretty famous for their Raggi Balls or Raggi Mudde. But never tried till now as I am not a fan of this.
One of the best restaurants serving Mutton dishes.
Been here several times and encourage one to try their Mutton Chops with Khuska Rice (Biryani Rice). They serve the rice with raita and salan and the Mutton Chops comes with 2 big pieces of Mutton in a good amt of rich gravy made of coconut.
Also tried their Mutton Fry which is quite good.
They also have a bar on the 1st Floor. Not recommended to go there with family or ladies.

After missing this place few timea finally ended up here on one evening. We sat in the 3rd floor and place looked a bit shady. But boy did this place live up to my expectation certainly yes. We had few glases of whiskey and probably this was the first place where I tried masala vade as snacks. It was made very well and for dinner we had ragi balls with tomato curry. The taste still lingers and am pretty much sure to be their loyal customer for sometime.
Went to this place so late on a Saturday afternoon, that it would instead be better to call it an early evening. My friend was going gaga over the jeera rice and dal at this place, so decided to give it a try. We werent left with too many options for the time of the day we decided to get here, so went with what was available. Jeera Rice, Chicken Fry, Rasam and White Rice. The jeera rice was good, but the gravy that came along with it was out of the world. Elevated the jeera rice to a whole new level. The Chicken Fry was good too. The rasam and white rice were bleh! This is a place you would want to go if you are in a group, but definitely not with your family. Though the restaurant area is downstairs and away from the bar which is upstairs, it does look quite shady. And personally, would not want to sit around people fully drunk either. Take away would make far better sense. Taste wise though, no complaints. Well worth a try and more.
Amazing Ragi mudde and mutton curry. Not to forget the mutton chops. Puu-fekt place to go with your boys especially when you want to go drinking followed by some kick-ass non vegetarian food! The taste is consistent too!
One of the local restaurants which is not suitable for the families. Place will be very crowded since it has bar and I recommend this for take away. Mutton curry and fry are good.
