A very chill place with an old-school charm. Love hanging out here with my friends and the food is absolutely delicious. Would definitely recommend a visit here.

On an insistence and high recommendation we Ordered a takeaway from here - Veg biryani and aloo jeera. Both were fantastic. Flavorful and spicy! Throughly enjoyed both dishes. The biryani comes with raita.
We had a lime soda while waiting for the order to be packed. It wasn't too great. It had a synthetic taste.
The outdoor ambience is quite nice and would be wonderful to dine during the day when the weather is pleasant. Must go and try more dishes there.

Had gone in a big group of 10 friends on a Wednesday night and was surprised as all the tables were full .
The service was fast and very personalised as one of the friend is a regular here.

The ambience of the place is the best part of this place.. Service is really bad and very slow.. Literally had to remind the waiter to get the order.. loved the seating and ambience.. Quite relaxing for a couple of drinks with friends..

Another day at Times Litfest @ Jayamahal palace and we ended up at this restaurant adjacent to palace . Good natural ambience , relaxed atmosphere and decent food . Surprisingly it was very expensive . Service was better as compare to previous day. Good place to eat/drink and relax in middle of know where. Ample parking place . only complaint - . Smoking area should be separated .
Just after our visit to Snow city we were in search of good food like nomads when zomato showed us the path to this place. At around 9pm we got settled there and ordered our food and some beer. The food was well prepared,beer well served and to add to it god music was played in the background. Amazing experience that was. Well behaved staff and awesome ambience were the add-ons. Suggestion: Go in the evening or night.

Finding Gallops was pure happenstance. It’s snuggled along the Jayamahal Palace complex. A very chilled out place. Definitely a place to visit to be away from the din of Bangalore.
It is a nice place to hang out. Calm and quiet if there are no functions in the adjoining area. Service is very slow but does not matter if you are planning to stay for a long time. They have stopped serving draught beer..

The parking next to the restaurant was taken up by visitors to a handicraft fair being held on the grounds nearby.
The ambience reminded me of an old gymkhana club with younger staff.
Wicker chairs around a coffee table in a large covered verandah made for a comfortable sitting.
No music allowed for easy conversations.
