Back in October 2022, I stumbled upon Butter Side Up while casually scrolling through Instagram. So far have got 2 cakes customized from them. And I loved both of them. Not only did they offer a wide array of delectable flavors, including the option to go eggless, but the taste was simply phenomenal. This year I showed them the picture of animated 2D looking cake and they made it just the way I wished for. It was absolutely stunning – like, seriously jaw-dropping. The cake received an avalanche of compliments from everyone who saw it. A huge thank you to the folks at Butter Side Up!

Fantastic cake. Tasted heavenly. The visual appeal was out of the world. Ordered a cake for my daughter's first birthday with her favourite animals on top. She literally pounced on the cake when we opened it during the party. Amazing!
I had ordered a custom red velvet cake for my friend's bachelorette. The experience was wonderful and the cake was delicious! Would definitely recommend!
The only drawback is the price, it's on the higher side (would be difficult for the student crowd to book such customized cakes)
Ordered for a Chocolate Mocha cake for my mum's 70th Birthday, with figures of my mum, dad, doggies all custom made. And I can't begin to tell you the attention to detail that was evident on the cake! Right down to the medals on my dad's uniform! My entire family loved the cake and the butter cream icing was simply out of the world! Even the fondant on the cake was delicious, unlike any other that I've had before. So now I know where I'll go for the next time we have a celebration in the family 🙂

Beautifully baked shaped cake, she truly paid attention to the tiniest detail. She could deliver, what places like Aubree and Lavonne failed. And it was perfect.
