I went here on a Sunday morning for breakfast. Place was crowded with people. I literally had to wait for 20 mins to get 4 idlis.
Most people preferred to get parcel (get there own box for parcel).
If you want to have there, order at once as per your need ( won't get idli in second round easily over weekend)
USP - Hot & smooth idlis (just like home made )
Cost - ₹10 per idli
Finally we got one good more breakfast place in Malleshpalya!!😍
It was much needed in that are we will not find any good restaurants for morning breakfast!!😍
Iyer idly as name says they provide only idly chutney for 20 rs 2 idly!☺
There is no any other choice in this place!😒
Idly so soft like home made and chutney is jus a good combination for that idly!!😜
If you are in Malleshpalya Don't miss to miss to visit this place!! I think it will be open from morning 7- 12!! 🤔
Top class taste with cheaper price ..home made feeling and great chutney as well. Best for get parcel to home at weekend. Hygenic place and polite people.
Great place have been eating here since years. Next to my house.. best idlys available . Taste is first class. Five star is the best rating I can give
Four star doesn't mean it provides a Taj dining experience. But in its class of hole in the wall shops this is certainly one of the best. Usually such holes lack hygiene. Not here. I found everything clean, floor clean, no wastes lying around. The chef aunty has a motherly aura. Overall good energy. Idlys were soft but had some unique texture. White chutney is the only available side and it tasted very good. Not overly spicy at all. No sambar which I think adds to the cleanliness since sambar leaves a lot of mess around.
In short if you are around the area definitely worth to stop by and try. Parking is hard to find on that busy road though
Small hole in the wall kind of place run by a mother and son power duo. I've been searching a of good idli place with good chutney neat my area for some time now. The best I've found so far was Brahmins cafe which is quite far from my house . I was very happy with the quality of idlis and chutney at Iyer. The chutney is nice and spicy and not too watery. They also encourage people to bring their own utensils to carry back food home if they want. There is an option to eat there itself but you can only sit on a few plastic chair set up outside. Quite a good option if you want a quick tasty and cheap breakfast.
Perfect place to have idli's if you are a idli lover. I visit this place almost daily for breakfast and never got bored. They serve only chatni with idli here and no sambar just a note as few people need sambar with idli.
They dont have a proper sit out and it is crowded most of the times. The rating given is purely for the idli's :P
Mouth watering idlis for idli lovers in the area. Worth every penny and the chutney is really amazing. There's also a lot of rush in the morning.
Five stars just for the menu. I love the way the guy decided to fill it up with the 10 series multiplication table, even though he has only one item. 1 idli? 100 idlis? Doesn't matter brother, you're gonna pay the same.
Nice idlis served hot with tasty chutney. If you leave aside the location, it is one of the best places to have idlis. Will recommend this place to all idli lovers
Amazing soft idlies with super good chutney and Vada, the price is really affordable, just ₹26/- for 1 idly and 1 Vada with chutney!
Kesari Bath was also good, super hot and tasty, priced at just ₹25/- per plate! Amazing Experience overall!
Me and my friend had stomach full and we hardly spent 200 for both of us combined! Travelled about 18 kms one way to have this and it was satisfactory!
➡️ Taste is Best.
➡️ Affordable price for the quality they are providing.
➡️ Chow Chow bath also tastes good.
➡️ Better take parcel because there is no dine in,you have to stand and eat.
After reading about the story of this place I just had to make a visit. A small establishment with a lot of love. The chutney is a bit different. Spicy which I liked. It is a decent idlli but I preferred the Vada. It was crispy and soft on the insides. Would recommend coming in on a Sunday morning when there is no rush. Wish they served tea or coffee too.
Simple place with basic darshini style thindi. Their idli vadE is very popular. Their idli is nice. Not the softest, but it is served warm. The chutney is decent. A touch too watery and lacked seasoning for me. Vade is somewhat crisp on the outside. More home made like than a gari gari darshini vadE.
Reasonably priced, no seating. The place is very popular in the area.
I discovered Iyer Idly through YouTube, like many others, and decided to try their idly based on the enticing name. The idly exceeded my expectations, ranking among the yummiest I've ever had, and the accompanying chutney left me speechless. Despite being a small cafeteria, their culinary magic amazed me, especially when witnessing their unique process.
While they offer a diverse menu, my sole focus was on the idly, and it was a decision well worth it. The simplicity of my experience was what made it stand out, great food and efficient service. I'm already planning to return next weekend to relish the delightful idly once again. Iyer Idly has become a go to spot for me, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a delicious and satisfying culinary experience.

The Idly is really amazing. Very soft and size is also 👌. Chutney is too good. We get 3 pieces in one plate, and we can take more if we want. I have gone many times for a breakfast in this place. It's onion and garlic free and also soda free. ( as it was written over there )
They have idli, vada, khara bath, kesari bath. Idli is light and sof. Chutney is a bit spicy.
Iyer Idli as most of them know about this delicious & tasty serving Idli chutney shop. As most of them had seen this famous idli shop on YouTube, Insta reels etc.
The history of this shop begins with selling idli batter at the initial stage by family. Later switched to the Idli shop. The shop is located in a small place in Vignan Nagar. Serving very limited items like Idli chutney, Kesri bath, Kara bath, Vade with very minimal price for the items. Their intention is to serve good quality tasty food with very limited items. So customers will look for the quality and the taste and this shop has maintained the same from the beginning .
They don't add any east or baking soda for batter. The shop sells more than 50k idlis in a month. This Idli shop started in 2001. With 1 idli price of Rs 1.50 paise and now per idli Rs. 13/-.
When I visited in the morning there was Que to the Idli shop. Sometimes there will be a Que you have to stand to get the delicious idlis. You can feel the aroma of coconut chutney with very smooth idli.
This is a must visit Idli shop if you are an idli lover. As the place is very small, there is no stand table or sitting facility to eat. One has to stand outside to eat. Or they give parcels as well with extra parcel charges.
Just amazing.
Very cheap, very tasty south indian food. Menu has very limited option, but it's best.
Special mention for khara bhath. Chutney is spicy and yum.
Idly and vada was also awesome.
Kesari bhath was ok ok.
One plate idly contains 3 pieces of idly and chutney.
Vada, kaara bath and kesar bath are available
Kesari bath and kaara bath together are sold as chow chow bath
6.30Am to 11:00Am
6:00pm to 9:00pm
And Sunday evening are closed
Just on the main road and can be easily spotted
No sitting area but observed people waiting in the queues
They mentioned no preservatives are added and use only refined oil or pure ghee for cooking
No plastic usage
Idlies are soft but I felt a little less salt in chutney according to my taste
