I am not a big fan of Chinese cuisine. But this place is exceptional and I love the food here. It is expensive but worth it. The service is fantastic too. The portion size is good. The place is well maintained, and there is plenty of seating. The only small drawback is that the restrooms are on a different floor.

Place is good, Decent attendees, Food is to the mark. Yes but quantity of the food is less for Dimsums. Jasmine tea is complementary. Had been to HBR outlet. Garlic chicken gravy - Caramel coconut pudding - 🍮 is good to try.

Egg and Chicken Fried Rice (5/5): The Egg and Chicken Fried Rice was a masterclass in wok cooking. Each grain of rice was separate and infused with the smoky essence of the wok. My recent visit to Mainland China restaurant left me thoroughly impressed. Subrata and Biswajit's service was exceptional, elevating the dining experience. The standout dishes included the succulent Prawn Hargao and the aromatic Basil Chicken Dumplings, both bursting with flavor. The Singaporean Noodles with Soy Garlic Prawns were a symphony of tastes, and I couldn't get enough of them. Lastly they offered some complimentary Jasmine Green Tea which was for me atleast a great way to end the meals. However, there was a minor letdown with the sushi; it didn't quite meet the high standards set by the other dishes. Nonetheless, the overall experience was fantastic. I would give it a solid 4 out of 5. The restaurant's ambiance was another highlight. Its beauty and eye-catching decor added to the overall charm of the evening. Mainland China offers a delightful blend of excellent service, a wide array of mouthwatering dishes, and a captivating atmosphere. It's a place I'd happily return to for an enjoyable dining experience.

The staff truly cares about your experience. From the starter to the dessert the quality and tastes of everything was outstanding Menu is extensive and seasonal to a particularly high standard. Definitely fine dining. It is expensive but worth it. This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Bengaluru. The food is fantastic and delighted with my meal! The best place to have Chinese buffet … Amazing food with beautiful interior … This place gives soo peaceful ambeince.. The dimsum n the diced chicken pepper was soo good .. N also the mandarin fish .. it was yumm n goes well with the cabbage fried rice .. Not to forget to try out their dessert which is honey noodles .. must try .. The chocolate rolls were soo crispy n soo delicious…. In love with the place n the unlimited buffet …

So recently visited this amazing place and had some authentic Chinese food experience. From relishing Starters,to exotic maincourse, to mouth watering desserts everything there is to drool over. Mainland China has introduced a 10 Course Lunch set which is available from Monday to Thursday between 12 PM to 3:30 PM at Rs 695 + Taxes. The set lunch includes Soups, Dimsums, Appetizers, Main Course Gravies, Rice, Noodles and Dessert. They have the option to choose between Veg as well as Non Veg. In soups in ordered for Chicken Lung Fung and started off with Basil Flavoured Chicken Dimsums. Both the items were really great and tasted well. Coming to starters, i ordered Wok Tossed Cottage & Diced Chicken With Assoted Pepper. The starters were made to perfection. Also, the portion size is really great. In Main Course, i had Celery & Cabbage Fried Rice with Mandarin Fish. The quality and quantity of fish was good and it went very well with the rice. Ending with dessert, i ordered for Honey Noodles & Vanilla Ice-cream. It was a perfect ending to scrumptious meal. I really loved the set lunch here and would highly recommend it. Portions size are really great and taste is amazing. Do try the set lunch here on your next visit.

Mainland China is a Perennial Fave. The PanAsian Cuisine was spot on with each dish having it's unique flavor and each bite a Delight The dessert was the icing on the cake Ambience is welcoming and warm Service was excellent especially Mr Subrata who served us with polish

Very authentic Chinese food In Kalyan Nagar. I m a big fan of mainland china since it’s inception as they main the quality and quantity both constantly throughout. The best outlet in bangalore is in church street and in Kolkata it is in Gurusaday Dutta Road. Never tried their buffet in bangalore though. Their signature Kimchi salad and soups are really yummy. Also, chicken starters, prawn , lamb all of them are very tasty. Recommended.

Mr. Subrata in branch Kalyan Nagar is really helpful and polite. Nice service from him. Really had good time. Nice quantity and nice food. We loved overall experience.

I have been here for a Lunch Buffet on a number of Sundays, these last few months. The menu seems to be always the same and most un-Chinese like. There used to be a time when I felt that their food was as close to what one could get in China, but not any more. (I have eaten in China many times) The service by the staff is attentive and always good, which is the redeeming factor about coming here. Mainland China is best avoided and I would not recommend it, if you are looking for proper Chinese food.

One of the best places to have wonderful Chinese food and a few Japanese dishes too. Love the sushi options here but not as authentic as your other Japanese restaurants. They've restarted their lunch buffet option, which was put on hold for a while now. You have some wonderful options across both Veg and Nonveg categories. The staff are very kind and well mannered. The ambience is good, kid friendly too. Overall a wonderful place.

Mainland China has been my go to place for Chinese food for the textures and flavours they bring in with their authentic ingredients to the well known taste palettes! Came here on a weekend for their buffet and loved the spread that comes within INR 1500 with a variety of options in soups, starters, main course and desserts! If you would ask me for my favourites: I would pickup Crispy corn, vegetables in Schezwan sauce, drums of heaven and their hot chocolate rolled with icecream are a must try! Do ask for these items during weekdays from their ala carte menu too! Shout out to the staff who helped us through the menu and readily explained us all the dishes♥️

I visited this place on a Sunday afternoon and ended up signing up for the buffet services the starter were served on the table and from the soup to the non veg to veg buffet I loved the food

It had been my first time experience in mainland China though my review is quite late but we enjoyed our dinner. The food served is just perfect and loved the ambiance . It had taken Chinese food at the next level. I really look forward to visit this place again for the mind boggling experience. We had soup which was super and momos and drumsticks . Soup was one of the best and then we had some mocktail which too was great

Was surprised with how the food was not value for money. Have had such good dining experiences but it was a terrible delivery experience. Food tasted average. Crispy lamb was chewy and tough. Noodles hardly had chicken. Paid 500 for noodles that we get at a street stall. <br/>Horrible experience and extremely dissapointing.

I have always been a fan of mainland china or asia kitchen by mainland china for the wonderful food and experience they give. This outlet also didn't disappoint me. It was rather an amazing experience every time i set foot in any of their outlets. To start with i had Their lung fung chicken soup which is basically a ginger and coriander flavoured thick soup along with egg white. The soup was absolutely amazing, one of the best i have had in recent times. The reason i visited this time was for their Philadelphia cheese dumplings. The way the cheese in the dumplings melt and burst out flavors is just amazing. Then i tried the Japanese pan fried mushroom dumplings which was also amazing. I must say that i have never been disappointed with any kind of dumplings from mainland china. Next i had the lemongrass prawns which were just fantastic with the right amount of seasoning and lemongrass flavor in it. Then i tried the pan fried bbq fish which were also fantastic. Appetizers are an absolute delight here. With so many appetizers, i decided to take lotus leaf wrapped rice which has been a hot seller for quite a long time here. Do try if you visit here any time.

Mainland China has been my all time favorite whenever it came to dimsums and this time was no different as I chose to indulge in one of those vegetarian dishes - the Philadelphia cheese dimsums. They're super delicate by make and by flavours too, you can barely pick them up using chopsticks if you're not a pro and the filling is purely made from smooth and creamy Philadelphia cheese.<br/>Other than that, I also gorged on some Japanese shitake mushroom and chicken dimsums that were in kothay form, pan fried till golden brown on one side.<br/>Then I had the 5 spice chicken with cashew nuts - the spices that the chicken was tossed in went very well with some toasted cashew nuts which made for a delicious combination of sweet and spicy.<br/>Also had lemongrass prawns - a very rich Thai like preparation of prawns in a rich red paste with the strongest flavours of lemongrass , a very indulgent starter indeed. Also, I had some berry vodkatini on the side.<br/>For main course, the fried rice wrapped in lotus leaf was absolutely stunning for you don't expect such brilliant flavours of a dish that looks very simple!<br/>Along with that, do have the fish in XO sauce.<br/>To end the meal, I had mango panna Cotta but you could also opt for the chocolate dome and much more

So recently visited this outlet for dinner. They have released a new menu, and we got the opportunity to try those. The ambiance, the moment you enter, gives you the east asian vibes. The music, the decoration and the arrangements gives you the proper authentic feels. We started with few cocktails, like lemongrass, mojito, vodkatini. All all of them were amazing. Not much sweet and good enough to make anyone tipsy. We started of the new menu and ordered a lot of things. We ordered Lemon Grass prawns, Pan fried Veg Mashroom dumpling, Pan fried Barbecued Fish, Batter fried five spice Chicken, Sichuan Pepper Chicken with Cashewnuts for starters. The philadelphia cheese dumplings were the best. They were soft like anything and melts when you put in the mouth, and bursting all the cheese flavours inside. The pepper chicken served with cashewnuts were amazing too. The rich flavours of the nuts were making the chicken taste extraordinary. Batter fried five spice chicken was not great, but apart from that everything else was so perfect. Properly cooked, tender and great taste of the spices and sauces. <br/>Next we ordered Singapore Noodles and Lotus Leaf Wrapped rice for maincourse along with king prawns in xo sauce and spice chicken in roasted garlic. The noodles were amazing and had a different type of authentic chinese flavour. I've been to this particular outlet a couple of times already. Mainland China is one of the safest choices for Chinese food in terms of taste.<br/><br/>The Kalyan Nagar outlet, in particular, marries great tasting food with excellent service. When we dropped in for lunch, we decided to go in for the lunch buffet (really good VFM on a weekend, and I would guess even better value on a weekday!). Soup and starters served at the table, with a LOT of starters. So much so, that we pretty much skipped the main course.<br/><br/>Service was great throughout. I really can't give enough positive comments.

Best place to have Chinese

We have always been patrons of Mainland China. This was our first visit to the Kalyan nagar branch. The meal was good as usual. We were specially taken care of by Raju. His service made the meal even better!

On my recent trip to Bangalore after my work was done and I was returning home. I saw mainland China right next to were I was staying. And now being a Chinese cuisine lover I went to dine in their the very next day. <br/><br/>Firstly, as you enter the restaurant and sit there they serve your cucumber & carrots salad which taste amazing. <br/>Then the waiters will get you a tab were you can place the order and submit. It was a quick service must say. <br/>Also the staff was so helpful in serving and also not disturbing the conversation at the same time. Excellent service I must say. <br/><br/>We ordered,<br/><br/>1. Singapore rice noodles - It's vermicelli noodles with shredded vegetables. We ordered a large portion for two of us as we were really hungry. And the portion is more then enough for two people to satisfy your hunger. <br/>It taste really good with all the assorted vegetables and it was totally shredded which makes it easy to hold on while eating. And with the noodles we ordered a side dish. <br/><br/>2. Chicken in Black Pepper Sauce - This is a must try. Shredded chicken tossed in a robust black pepper sauce. It goes perfectly with the noodles. I bet you won't regret this combo. I personally recommend this two dishes. Also we ordered a large portion of it. Totally worth it. <br/><br/>3. Braised chicken in smoke chilli sauce with Wok Tossed Chicken Hakka Noodles. Also when I visited the second time we ordered this combination and the staff was really helpful in selecting the best for us. Suggestions were really helpful. Chicken was really juicy and had a smoky barbeque flavor to it which blended well with the Wok hakka noodles. <br/><br/>I had availed ZOMATO GOLD here, my experience was totally worth it. I loved the place so much that we had dinner here back to back for three days. And each time it cost me like 500-600 bucks because of the gold membership. <br/><br/>The service of this place so amazing. Even the staff they serve you well and keep an eye on you while you finish the serving without even disturbing you. Always ready for the next serving. Excellent service by the team. Appreciate it a lot. <br/><br/>I look forward to visit here again Soon on my next trip.

I called the restaurant about the one wrong item in my order and Abhishek who answered was extremely apologetic and insisted on replacing the entire order. Despite telling him that was unnecessary, he personally brought the whole order and delivered it to my doorstep. Now that's personalised service!

Good food. Good staff. Valet parking. Size and portion are good. Pricey. For Basic amenities like washroom or hand wash, one has to go one level up. Its been since ages and bcoz its doing good business, management is ignoring to come up with atleast hand wash on same floor say for old people. Not like other restaurants where u get authentic chinese but this place is good for indian version of chinese. Would love to visit again.

Nice food and ambience

Been to Mainland China today with so many doubts that all items might be noodles & momos, what shall I eat there, but my assumption was wrong. <br/>The ambiance was very nice and the food as well. The service was too good and even one of my colleagues was insisting to eat, but the staff said, Sir, aap kuch nahi kha raha he, thoda toh kha lijiye, humko accha nahi lag raha he.... kon bolta he bhai aj kal ghar mein maa ke alawa...amazed with the service by the staff.<br/><br/>I'm a dessert lover & have not left a single item from the table, the first time will come only once and the experience was also the best one.<br/>Soon visit with friends to have a sip ;)

Like all other branches even this one doesn't disappoint. Had chicken in clay pot with noodles and dimsums for dinner. The food tasted great just the portion of noodles can be better. Great place for family dinner!!!

First thing first: The staff is super good! Our waiter for the night was Subrata and Shantanu. They were awesome! I really want the branch manager to recognize them.<br/>Mr. Raju and Subrata were really great<br/>Second thing second: the food is delicious! Great for Asian food lovers. Food was alright. No complains there. But the restaurant had mosquitoes. That spoiled our dining experience.

Ambience is good

Have always visited the Church Street one which is usually very good but this place was a real disappointment. The soup had a very pungent flavor. The starters were okay. Have to mention the chicken dimsum and the fish was good.<br/>The main course was disappointing. The crabs and the lamb could have been better. Liked the Thai red curry with shrimp.<br/>Desserts were as usual. Just a few cakes, custard and ice cream.<br/>Overall went with a high expectation and was truly disappointed.

I have been to mainland China in my childhood and it was amazing. Over the few years I heard the quality had degraded hence didn't try. But when I came to Bangalore and saw the reviews of this place wanted to try again. And it's reviews stands true. It's amazing and the quality of the food and staff is amazing. Loved everything in buffet excpet fish Momo's in which there was raw fish taste. But to my surprise almost everything (99%) was perfect in buffet. I loved it.

Went here to have lunch with my frens, we chose buffet lunch... veg fried starter they brought was very good, crispy and very less oil.. i forgot its name. and fish starter was also good.<br/>Some items they brought was not warm enough.<br/>I would recommend it to guus who like dimsums and are chinese food fan.. there al a carte is lot better.

Had been here with a colleague for lunch. The ambience was decent. Service was quite good. Servers were polite. They have both buffet and ala carte options. We had opted for lunch buffet. This review is only for the non veg buffet as we did not try the veg options.<br/><br/>The buffet spread had a lot of options including soup, dimsums - fish and chicken , starters - chicken, prawn and fish, fried rice , noodles , gravies - fish, chicken prawn , crab and a variety of desserts . The Chicken Hakka soup was really good! It was an amazing start to the meal.<br/><br/>No doubt, the buffet at Mainland China is VFM. Would defintely recommend the buffet.<br/><br/>

I wanted to have here for a long time and finally my desire is fufilled. It was really a nice chinese dineout option with authentic chinese cuisines. The staffs are also very cooperative. Overall a pretty nice experience of my visit with family.

Awesome day spent as we chose to celebrate our friends birthday... Hosting was down by Raju da, great person, great courtesy. And all that we say about the authentic chinese, will be less to describe. Loved it!!

Who doesn't love Chinese food? Mainland china is the go to destination for all your Chinese cravings. We started off with Thai style chicken dumplings which were just droolworthy! Guava based mocktail was also perfect! The service from our waiter Raju was exceptional! The food was on the table straight from the pan and he tended to all our questions.<br/><br/>Thank you for the meal!

Great experience from the time we entered the restaurant..Subarta and Satanu welcomed us and ensured that we ordered the right dishes and also provided feedback on various flavours..kudos to both of them in ensuring that customers are happy enjoying their food..I would like to thank the chef who had cooked the food for us today..it was really delicious..really recommend everyone to try this outlet..

The service given by Raju was very nice and he kept a very keen eye on our needs full marks on hospitality,food was average at best didn't like crab preparation less item of chicken on the main course not much of a fish guy not worth the deal.

A nice place to enjoy buffet as well as ala carte. The service of this place is really good and the food is also really yumm. However I like the ala carte more than the buffet of this place. In the buffet I enjoyed the starters more than the main course. During weekend it's better to reserve a seat as it is usually crowded. I recommend this place for a decent dinning experience.

Went to this branch of Mainland China for lunch and loved the place.The food was lipsmacking good. We ordered Crispy cottage cheese and Japanese wheat noodles.Both were flavourful and tasty.To top it all, we got some complementary desserts which were great too.The place also has good ambience and very courteous staff.<br/>The prices are on a higher side though.<br/>However, would definitely visit again.<br/><br/>

The ambience is pretty great. The food was pretty decent. The food has more of an Indo-chinese taste. Not purely authentic chinese. The crab soup is something that I did not like at all. It was extremely bland for my palette.

We had a wonderful time at Mainland China. The food was awesome ,we ordered Jiang's chicken, pepper fish as starters and then burnt garlic noodles and hunan prawns and basil chicken for main course.. everything was fresh and tasty.<br/>Overall ambience and service was worth every penny spent!<br/>

Had a wonderful meal. Shantanu photographed here recommended the sea bass with steamed rice and greens... Turned out to be a great combination. Biswajit and his team were very courteous, attentive and full of smiles. Overall a great evening.

Had an amazing experience here..!! Leaving the place with a full happy tummy😉 the dishes tasted too yumm and the staff were absolutely courteous and were patient to our taste requirements ..!! The place is located right on the side of outer ring road and has a basement parking. There was live screening of world cup when we went.<br/>Ambience is really nice and very well maintained. Staff is very polite and prompt. Shantanu served us well and even gave good suggestions since this was my 1st time to this restaurant.<br/>We had ordered Japanese wheat noodles and corn and water chestnuts momos. Noodles were nice, quite light on tummy. However, momos could have been better I felt as I have had better ones elsewhere.<br/>Prices are on the higher side. With zomato gold, it's a benefit.

One of the better Mainland China restaurants that I have visited in Bangalore. All the dishes and mocktails we ordered were above par. Service was prompt and courteous. Special mention to Raju. So if you are craving for Chinese you can definitely drop by!

One of the best dining experiences. The staff is superb, extremely polite , patient , and professional. The team of Raju, Snehashish and Sudhir treated us like royals and turned our evening into a great one. Thanks to them. The food matches to the team- excellent.
