Review Somilan Steak House - Bengaluru

Manoj CN
I tried my first pork baby back ribs here and I'm glad I chose this place. The steak was well done and bone off tender. The waiters were really professional. We even ordered a chicken fried rice. It was a bit bland even though we asked it to be spicy. We added a bit of salt and pepper and it was much better. The wine is amazing as well. Would definitely be my go to place if I want to try steak again.

All I can say about this place is that they have got the best north eastern food. Thukpa served there is so awesome that I went again just to have it again. The taste is irresistible with its super affordable prices. Both quantity and quality of the food will woo you for sure. The interiors are typical naga style with naga ancestors photographs which gives it a tribal look. Being a north eastern I just loved this place but I am sure you will like it too, just have a try. They have also got great beverages which taste wonderful, goes well with the food.

The quality of food is good but the quantity is bad. But still cant complain as the priced are cheap when compared to the rest of the steak houses in the neighborhood. The ambiance is good but the the place is too dim and cozy. Could have improved the lighting and the tables are close to each other so as to improve the number of customers dining at once. A table or two can be reduced in order to give the right own of privacy to neighborhood tables .

Located in the famous church street, this place is must try if u r looking to have some unique food dishes. First of the place is small and ambiance is nothing to look forward to. Gets very dark at night. Place is pretty good to huukah and grab a snack, and would highly recommend the huukah here. Coming to the food they have a wide variety of food ranging for chicken to snails. I tried the snails for the first time and it was actually very good. I would highly recommend this. All the other items from chicken to beef to shrimps were also good. Please do try it out, they even have silk worms and other crazy things šŸ¤£

I have been a regular visitor of Somilan for almost 5yrs now.. its the go to place for the college gang. Amazing north eastern delicacies, wine and rice beers. Cut short to 2020 they have stopped the rice beer and home made wines but the food still remains the same. Tasty and brilliant choices from different cuisines. Do visit If you wanna taste some good old Manipuri or Naga dishes.

1st time visit on Sunday and what a find .... Service is not the fastest, but the wait is more than compensated with the flavours of the food. The waiters, are very welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu, so you can be confident of the menu items One of the most varied selection of Naga foods I have come across outside the NE.

A gloomy stairway opening up to this amazing place. 2 floors of delicious North Eastern cuisine. Mouthwatering dishes and huge quantity will definitely satisfy anyone. Zomato Gold is a cherry on top.

Nice place to quench your steak cravings. The place is a little small but they have both indoor and outdoor seating. They have a variety of steaks and the servers are knowledge about what sauce goes with which sauce. Always ask them before ordering if you are new to the steak scene. I would recommend you to try out pork ribs. Do try out their rice beer too.

The best north east indian food I've had in Bangalore. Don't get dissuaded by the how broken down and dingy the entrance looks, the restaurant isn't that fancy either. Service is also a bit slow, but the food is super delicious. I love north eastern food, and this tasted very authentic to me .the pork ribs ( I tried the one with terriyarki sauce was out of the world...the way pork is cooked in North eastern cusine is amazing. Also delicious was their rice and smoked pork in bamboo shoot curry (the smoked flavor was wonderful). Definitely a must visit place in the city

The ambience is really good and clean. Staffs are friendly and the fact that they know the dishes well to suggest them to the customer makes them special. Loved the authentic Naga and Manipuri dishes. Must try for people who want to experience the palate from Nagaland and Manipur.

A nice place for North Eastern food, specially Manipur. They have regular Chinese food as well. They have very fresh paneer, soft like coulds. The cottage cheese Chilli is a must try for appetizers. The Lemon Ice Tea is also made with fresh lemons and tea. If you like bok choy, the stir fried vegetables is a good choice. The sticky rice here is unlike Jasmine Sticky Rice, its a red sticky rice and goes very well with gravy based dishes or Thai curry. The place was recently renovated and they have traditional patterns on their interiors. They have two floors, the bottom one is well lit with AC while the top floor is the smoking section and has road facing balcony. They also serve hookah here. If you are not familiar with the Manipuri cuisine, just talk to the manager. He is very friendly and will make recommendations based on your taste or at times make custom dish to suit your taste buds.

The scrumptious northeastern meal gave us a melancholic sensation. We literally felt we ate the food in our native land. The smell of the food, the atmosphere inside the restaurant and the ambiance was damn superior. I would also like to recommend to the South Indians to try it once. I bet you will not regret it. And to the Northeasternites, It's always like our Mom's preparation. Have a great one while paying a visit to this supercool breath taking restaurant. #SOMILANSTEAKHOUSE

If you are in love with Naga dishes. This is the place to be. I have visited many naga eateries in Bengaluru. This one has topped it all. The ambience also gives you the feel of Nagaland.

A nice and affordable place to hang out with your friends, they serve Asian and naga cuisine. The rice beer, friendly staff and quick service are the highlights of this steak house.

One must visit this place if you are a hard core non veggie. Absolutely loved the food and the pretty ambience. Also, they are pretty generous when it comes to the quantity too. My personal favourite is their pork Hunan Jien Mein!!

I'm glad we tried this. Definitely coming back and already introduced to our fellow Filipinos (people from the Philippines). Keep the good quality, quantity, affordable price, good taste, nice ambiance and good hospitality. You will definitely have regulars. And can I say this? I love North East people ļæ½ :)

The food was great! It had the perfect variety between North-East and Asia. The atmosphere was also very nice and cozy and the staff was very polite.

I LOVE North-Eastern food, and have ended up going to Somilan two Saturdays in a row. Victor always ensures what we want is available even on short notice. Gonmei will make you comfortable, ensure the dish is as per your appetite for chilli and plays some good music too! If you're looking for great quality, authentic Naga and Manipuri cuisine - Somilan Steak House will deliver, every time. Excellent service. Excellent food! Can't wait to visit again.

Church Street it may be in, but you gotta get up a crooky stairwell to get to Somilan. That being done, the lovely staff are ready to immediate;y assist you.<br/><br/>The ambience felt slightly outdated and dark, but comfortable enough. It isn't a large establishment, so I'm sure peak hours could mean a very tight squeeze.<br/><br/>The food here was lovely. I'd especially recommend the Nasi Goreng, and their stir-fries. I found it to be worth the tab as well.<br/><br/>Good Asian Cuisine is a tough catch, glad to have this one on the shelf.

Well, the first time I ate their food was at their North East Food fest and I was extremely disappointed at how it tasted and the pricing. But later got to know that most of the food prepared was my volunteers and others. So, forgiven.<br/>Now for the good bit, when we actually visited the place, the food was bloody awesome. Everything we ordered was lip smackingly good. We ordered a wide range of food from across the menu including a steak and their rice brew.<br/>We were a group of three but we ate as much for a group of 6, it was THAT good. And pricing was really reasonable as well considering that their portion sizes are very generous.<br/>The ambiance is really warm, modern, and a few touches of Naga culture. Service was very fast and the staff were really great. A shout out to them for sure.

There's nothing wrong with the food..best steak you can get in Bangalore, <br/>The place name is Somilan STEAK House.<br/>It has zomato 1+1<br/>But do you get to unlock gold on steak from steak House? A big "NO"<br/><br/>why is there zomato gold when we can't unlock gold on steak from the steak house.
Anisha L
The food was not nice and there was a strange smell lingering. I did not find anything good about this place . Went there as per the reviews . Tried a few things suggested by many people that are suppose to be their specialities! I would give this place a miss.

Very polite and friendly waiters! Amazing experience

Somilan Steak House, although located in a very posh location and having a nicely done decor with a detailed menu, failed to serve the quality of food which I was looking for.<br/>The chicken steak in butter Mushroom sauce was so stiff that it was difficult to cut even with a knife. Very bland, very stiff. The mashed potato was average and edible however. 500 bucks for such quality, is not at all worth it.<br/><br/>On complaining, they said this is how it is. To my surprise it was probably my 50th time, and I never had such stiff steak ever before.<br/><br/>Nevertheless, they asked to order something else from the menu and suggested to have pan fried crispy noodles (donā€™t remember the exact name). It was a nice gesture and also the dish was good.

Step out from the Church Street exit at MG Road metro station and you'll find yourself outside Somilan.Ā <br/>I had been hearing good things about this place so I was interested to see how the food was. The restaurant opens only at 1 PM, so don't assume getting there earlier will help. We learned that the hard way.Ā <br/>The interiors are decorated with photos from Northeast India and chairs draped with traditional tribal designs. Though the room is not very big, space has been used well to accommodate big groups and couples.Ā <br/>We took a table overlooking Church street, all though we could not see the street below.Ā <br/>The menu is interesting, to say the least. There are veg options, steaks, Chinese dishes, and Naga and Manipuri cuisine.Ā <br/>We ordered Shinju (Manipuri veg salad), Smoked Beef, Ironba (Mashed potato salad), Fresh pork curry with bamboo shoot, Fresh pork curry with roasted sesame seeds, steamed rice, and a cup of rice beer. We also ordered a bowl of egg-fried rice for my niece who was with us.Ā <br/>The food did not take very long to arrive and the waiters were quite helpful.Ā <br/>My personal favorite was the pork with bamboo shoot curry, but all the dishes were tasty. Maybe the next time I visit, I will try some of the other dishes on the menu.Ā <br/><br/>The bill came to Rs. 2,669 without service charge.

Been hearing about Somilan Steak House on Church St for quite a while now, and finally went yesterday as I was in the area.<br/><br/>The chilli pork I (rather gluttonously) ordered was tasty, and not greasy, but was disappointed that the pork was batter fried.<br/><br/>While this Restaurant has a large Chinese-y selection, with steak house in the name, I opted for a Rib Eye steak, cooked between medium rare and medium.<br/><br/>As you can see, the steak I received was nothing close to a rib eye. And it was a perfectly cooked, juicy well done. Nowhere near what I asked for. The seasoning was also insufficient. (I had to add salt and pepper)<br/><br/>Upon enquiring with the staff, they apologized. They did offer to replace the steak, however I declined the offer, as I was hungry, and also had elsewhere to be soon, and most importantly wanted to avoid the wastage.<br/><br/>The meat was not exactly tender, but it wasn't bad at all either.<br/><br/>They also have a fairly significant collection of dishes from North East India, which sounded very interesting.<br/><br/>Would I go again? Not sure - but if I did, it certainly wouldn't be for the steak, rather perhaps for the North East Indian food. Not sure if that bodes well for a restaurant that has the word "Steak House" in it's name.

Staff are polite and if you want to enjoy naga cuisine then this is the place to visit in Bangalore šŸ¤—šŸ˜
The Bangalore Food Harem
Probably one place you shouldnā€™t judge by its name. Itā€™s very clearly not a steakhouse. However, please do put this on your bucket list if you wanna try some authentic Naga and Assamese food. From Axiomi to Dried Fish chutney; from lentils to smoked pork; this place really offers some decent options. We must add that they have an amazing array of steamed dumplings that really hit the spot. If you are feeling experimental, look out for the snails. They are seasonal so you wouldnā€™t always be too lucky.

The most I loved about this place was the culture that they have incorporated in designing the the ambience. It looked very nice and authentic. We ordered soup, chilly chicken, fried pork , rice and fresh pork in Naga style. The taste of food was good but my most favorite was fresh Naga pork just loved it. Though the service is a bit slow but they do make it up with the taste of the food. They have Chinese food as well and deserts. Must visit for people who love North Eastern food.

Food was really tasty. Good ambience and crockery. No crowd at all. Service speed was quite slow

The name is Somalin Steak House. And Steak is not on Zomato Gold. Can you believe that? Even after requesting the manager multiple times, he was adamant that gold is applicable on limited menu which does not include steak. And that is not even mentioned anywhere on Zomato's menu section.<br/>Utterly disappointed as a customer, even more because my personal multiple request to honor gold was turned down without a thought. We had to finally walk out.<br/>Gold is supposed to be applicable on entire menu expect platters and set menu. How does Steak and Burger get excluded? Never visiting the place again.

The best food I've had in ages. The best pork I've tried in Bangalore till date.<br/>This place is a must try!<br/>'pork hoisin' was a standout dish!

Somilan is slowly becoming one of my favourite places in Bangalore! A very simple restaurant, right across the new Blossoms on Church Street, Somilan serves a variety of Asian and North-east Indian dishes.<br/><br/>The food is simple, tasty and not too oily. We usually get the Hunan Pork, which is absolutely delicious with beautifully cooked Pork, crunchy veggies, noodles and a yumm sauce. The dimsums, Japanese fried rice, Naga style fish with bamboo shoot and the steak are some of the other favourites.<br/><br/>The best part is, that the food is totally worth the price! Infact, itā€™s one of the more economical places in the city :)
Gunojwal Urs
I feel this place/hotel is a racist hotel! These people won't treat well! No proper service! They are not taking the order properly! Came from so long! So disappointed
Jovita E
We came here for steaks but couldnā€™t get it with Zomato Gold. No where is it mentioned that you canā€™t get a steak at a STEAKHOUSE with Zomato Gold and they just say you canā€™t get steak because management changed. So why is it so misleading till you come to the restaurant?
Hirak Biswas
I used to visit there all the time, but last time I visited they had hiked their rice beer glass price from 80/- to a whopping 175/- rupees. They even discontinued gold on a huge part of their menu, now zomato gold is applicable on only a selection of their menu. Overpriced beer, the steak which I used to eat was taken out of Gold benefits so not worth the buck anymore...

Have you ever discovered a gem hiding in plain sight? Because I am fairly certain I just did, walking into Somilanā€™s unassuming entrance two months back.Ā <br/><br/>It also plays a part in why Iā€™ve taken so long to write about this place. To put it quite simply, I wasnā€™t ready to share my experience just yet; and the sheer unbridled joy of spending that bright August afternoon tucking into one of the best steaks Iā€™ve ever had in my sorry steak-lacking life.<br/> <br/><br/>But I ultimately decided that people need to know about Somilan, as much as the petulant single child in me hates sharing what I hold dear. So here we are.<br/>For more on our meal there, please check the blog link below! :)

This is our go to place anytime we are not sure what to eat. Their veg and chicken Pad Thai is our go to option. It's also easy on the pocket. Would definitely recommend

*NAZI GORENG*<br/>The popular Indonesian stir-fried rice dish with pieces of juicy meat and vegetables was something unique that I tried.<br/>It was topped by fried egg and chicken steak which was delicious šŸ¤¤<br/>

I went to this place to try steaks but instead preferred ordering Asian cuisines.<br/>This cute little place gives a very positive and warm Vibe.<br/>Dishes*<br/>-Kwyteiyw( glass noodles with Tom yum soup and our choice of meat) was delicious. I tried both the pork and chicken (though i prefer the former)<br/>-The chicken phad Thai noodles was a good choice too.<br/>

I'm a Bong and I live to eat<br/>So I visited a hidden food haven in Bangalore<br/>It's called the somilan steak house<br/>The best north east cuisine in Bangalore<br/>We tried pork dumplings<br/>We tried beef steak<br/>We tried chicken steak<br/>All upto the mark<br/>But the main thing is there chilli pork<br/>" what a dish damn awesome can't even explain in some words , the flavour, aroma of that smokey wood fire , hotness of that naga viper makes my experience in a ultimate lavel "<br/>Drinks is also good<br/>Ambience is another chef touch of the dish<br/>Awesome hospitality indeed thank you going to visit you guy's really soon

Used to love this place for it's signature pork baby back ribs. Even with the tiny congested seating area, the stairway approach that reeked of urine, it was always worth it for amazing food and a chilled out ambience.<br/><br/>This time, unfortunately, it seemed to have cone under new management with both food and service taking a dive.<br/><br/>Firstly it took about 10 minutes of us sitting around for the waiter to take our order. The sad part was that a group came in after us (and who seemed to be buddies with the waiters), and had their order taken before us. In any case we eventually managed to order a crispy pork starter, 2 baby back ribs as the mains and two glasses of their famous rice wine. And a bottle of chilled mineral water.<br/><br/>45 minutes later nothing had arrived - not even the mineral water! After a couple of reminders, the waiter got us a bottle of room temperature water, leaving before we could tell him we wanted it chilled. 2 minutes later he nonchalantly served a bottle of chilled water to the table next to us.<br/><br/>Eventually, after a long wait, the crispy pork arrived. The pork was however not crispy, actually quite soggy, and was served semi-cold. It had obviously been lying around on the kitchen plating counter way too long while the waiters were fawning over the other table where their buddies had already received their mains.<br/><br/>The baby back ribs that came after that were a disaster. In my earlier visits, the dish was so well done that the meat used to literally fall off the bone. Not anymore. The ribs we had now we're overdone, slightly charred, and very tough. One of the ribs was almost entirely fat, and completely inedible.<br/><br/>During all this we reminded our waiter about our order of rice wine, to which he apologized that it was out of stock (although he took our order for it earlier). Then 5 minutes later we saw him serving a pitcher of rice wine at another table.<br/><br/>All in all it was a bad experience and we won't be returning here again. I suppose if you're friends with the management or the waiters then you may get good service and food. Otherwise, you should stay away.<br/><br/>

Have taste buds for Northeastern food? Then this is the place to go once. Its simply Delicious šŸ˜‹ Just be prepared to wait a bit after orders. It takes time for preparation. So it's better to order as soon as you get first dish.

Located in church street right beside the MG road metro, this place is the first choice when it comes to authentic north east cuisine.I had tried north east cuisines in other places in Bangalore but taste and authenticity wise it is top notch.Be its pork and fish appetizers to the baby back ribs steak every tastes delicious and the exact amount of flavours. We were recommended to taste a catfish gravy prepared freshly and the simplicity of the flavour blew us out.All in all a great culinary and service experience on an independence night.A highly recommended place. The rice beer is also a must try
Sonali Chauhan
The Restaurant serves the best North Eastern cuisines, if you are fond of North eastern food you can bump in here, The zutho bottle rice beer was over priced, The staff did not tell us the price before and we ended up paying 500 for it, please ask before you order it, The dumplings were fresh and the food was tasty but they should work on the quantity, Overall an average experience.
Arunima Gohain
We went there on Friday evening, now they have a fine dine restaurant where smoking is not allowed and one above for smokers which is closed for now. We thought of trying NE cuisine, so first we ordered Beijing pork and chicken lollipop and then steam rice and chicken with bamboo shoot. We really liked the starter but main course was not that good... The taste was not that good.... No salt and spice was less... They have no sauce for lollipop and service was very bad.
Seijal Prashant
The beef steak was amazing. The butter mushroom sauce with it was to die for. The chicken in hakka style was also really good. Totally recommend the place for steak and Asian food lovers

I have been to Somilan Steakhouse twice. The staff are always polite. The new place looks fantastic and the food is good. The naga curry with fermented bamboo is something you need to look out for. It has an interesting taste that usually doesn't appeal to everyone (the staff warned us) but it's something that I loved while the other person wasn't as enthusiastic. So, it can be a hit or a miss. The pork was correctly cooked and tasted right. We tried the Thai Green curry once, it was good but nothing to rave about. I have tasted better ones elsewhere. All in all, it's a fantastic place to go out to, especially if you have Zomato Gold.
Akash Tibriwal
This review is not based on steaks but on Chinese delicacies! Me and my friends went to Somilan Steak house during the late lunch hours but still we faced the unexpected crowd which was reflected in the quality of service provided! However the staffs did apologize for the poor service.<br/>Coming to the food, I experienced best Chinese food here and was very much satisfied with the taste and quality. Quantity is also decent. Cost range for steaks is obviously high but for Chinese main course it is pocket friendly and zomato gold is worth using in this outlet.<br/>Decor is posh and the outlet is located just outside the mg road metro station!<br/>It's highly recommend if you are looking for good restaurants in Church Street.

This place recently got added to my list of favorites. The Naga style fish curry is insanely good. It goes very well steamed rice or sticky rice.<br/>The Naga daal too is full of flavours and a bit of spice. Everytime I got to this place, I want to try out new things, but it's so difficult to miss out on the fish curry that I end up sticking to it.<br/>The pork momos too are extremely good. I can't wait to probably, one day, try out everything they have.
Shivani Singh
The restaurant has some really great food but it was slightly difficult to spot it at first. The ambience and the staff were wonderful, though.

Wow... All the North East people attention , here we got new place to kill your hunger , forget about ambience , I'm talking about food , whatever you are craving for you'll get it from here ... Visiting soon
Gokul.pillai2001
The best place to have beef steak InBanglore , I make sure I visit at least once a month, the quality of the meat is not the best but considering beef has been banned In most of the states šŸ˜”, we can't complain , try the steak with the butter mushroom sauce or red wine sauce , it's sure to make you come back for more , the only disappointment is that you cannot use the zomato offer on the steak so I always order another two dishes and take one as parcel most of the times šŸ˜, for vegetarians try the Japanese noodle soup

Happiness is catching up with good friends over a hilarious movie like Hobbs and Shaw.... And when it is a bunch of foodies together what else can we do but end the night with than huge family style meal like this... So opted for Somilan Steak House to taste some of the North Eastern part of India's tasty food... Starting from bottom ... Succulent perfectly cooked Chilli pork with some amazing egg fried rice... Then came the courses of awesomeness... Smokey filled with veggies Naga Dal, Smoked beef curry which was scrumptious and the star of the night was a special variety of fish coming from the paddy fields of Manipur cooked in a flavour bomb curry where we opted for the head and tail... The fish curry was literally being slurped up like soup, it was that tasty... And not to forget some generously filled Pork Momos which is what we started this fabulous meal with.... An amazing place, lovingly done up with Naga tribal motif, this is indeed a place to treat yourself with the amazing flavours of the North East!!!

We a pack of 8 pax decided to celebrate two of our friends' birthday here.<br/>Seeing the direction board we climbed all our way to 3rd floor and were taken aback seeing the area.<br/>It was all shady and gloomy. We all were depressed until the steward told us that they have extended their restaurant service to 2nd floor which was pretty decent in Ambience.<br/><br/>Though the food was decently appetizing, the service brought the experience to a Mediocre level.<br/>I suppose the restaurant was on water saving mode, because unless we literally yelled for water 3 times we were not given WATER.<br/>Forget water bottle, there were no glass on the table.<br/><br/>The steward used to bring a bottle and dump it on the table.<br/><br/>Later on when we were leaving the place, we were in a way taunted that had we been informed or booked and come , this would have not been.<br/><br/>I suppose serving water was a very arduous task!!!<br/><br/>Overall, a good dining place if you aren't looking for a top notch service.<br/><br/>Food recommend :- the Phad Thai Noodles, Schezwan Chicken And Hunan Jein Noodles.

One of the most underrated places to have authentic Chinese and North eastern cuisine. Lovely laid back ambience, polite and attentive staff makes it very comfortable place!<br/>

I liked the pork baby ribs. The meat was succulent and flavorful. The portion was also sufficient! Overall a good place. Only regular water was not served that day, maybe due to some problem. The behavior of the stuff was also friendly! Overall a good experience. Will love to visit again.

We went here for lunch with good expectations and Somilan did not disappoint at all. Yummy food, great service. Loved it! If you've been there, a second visit is guaranteed. Everything we ate was good, their pork / beef rice, so flavorful and good all by itself even, good starters and awesome variety on the menu.<br/>We tried the rice beer - didn't like it much so would suggest you try a sampler first. Some may have a taste for it :) The only other thing we didn't dig is the beef in bamboo shoot. If you've had bamboo shoot before and like it then you will love this. Else, the bamboo taste is quite distinct so an acquired taste of sorts. Rest is super! Enjoyyy

An excellent place made extremely affordable courtesy Zomato Gold. The food is really well made, service was fast, and the servers were polite.<br/>They renovated recently, and I love the new ambience. I miss the Zhutto though - they used to serve rice beer a while back, and I hope they start serving it again soon!

From outside this place does not look good, but once you enter this place it is very very clean and tidy. I had Pad Thai and Schezwan Chicken. Food is splendid.

I've visited this place yesterday. It was nice, the vibes were cool. The service is also good. The foods are good too. You can visit this place with your friends or families for dinner or lunch.

Visited this place by chance but not regretting it even one bit. One of the best places in bangalore for north-east cuisine. Economical too. Quaint place overlooking church street. Modest setting with amazing food. Must try steamed pork dumplings and chilly pork. The pathway and stairs leading upto the place might seem a little shady, but the food makes up for the dinginess and effort. The only hitch is that they are not available on Swiggy or Zomato

Rating 4.5<br/>It is located in the church street, opp to bookworm, very near to starbucks. Interior is very beautifully done and ambience is also nice. We had bejing style pork, and fish in five spices as starter. Both were delicious. Then we ordered for a chicken steak and it arrived 45 mins later. Steak was served with a small amount of rice, veggies and mashed potato. Steak was very tasty. The mashed potato seemed like curd due to its consistency. Pricing are good. Zomato gold in not applicable on some dishes like steaks. So it's better to check in the menu card before placing the order. Overall, had a good experience though the serving time was too much for the steak.

Food : We had Chicken Pad Thai noodles and Somilan Cappuccino. The taste of the noodles was really tangy and good, the way it should be. The quantity was sufficient too.<br/>Cappuccino was flavourful and strong.<br/><br/>Service and ambience : The restaurant is located on the 3rd and 4th floor overlooking the church street. The ambience is good..service was prompt and good too.

I have been to this place 2 times already and found my love for Naga Cuisineā¤ļø <br/>The restaurant has a great ambience and very hygienic. The food items under the Naga Cuisine is a must try from the menu! The dumplings are too delicious! If youā€™re trying the Naga Cuisine for the first time you really need to have the combination of sticky rice, steamed fish/pork curry with bamboo shoots along with ā€œErombaā€ <br/>Authentic northeast cuisine is all you will get here!

Love how authentic the food they serve is. Pathetic consistency though. That's something I really think they need to work on. Also, miss the rice beer they once served.

Well, this place has been on my mind for a very long time now. <br/>Finally went for it.<br/><br/>Location: Church Street<br/><br/>Warning: Dingy looking building, even more dingy passage, and no lift. Restaurant is on the 2nd/3rd floor...be ready for a steep walk upwards.<br/><br/>Food:<br/>North Eastern, Naga, Chinese cuisine. Food was quite decent. Takes a bit of time to reach your table.<br/>Ordered:<br/>Chicken momoā€™s<br/>Chilli chicken<br/>Chicken steak<br/>Peach ice tea <br/><br/><br/>Service: ok ok<br/><br/>Ambience:<br/>Ok ok<br/><br/>Guys, One can surely visit and try out this place!<br/><br/>Cheers <br/>

Very good north eastern foods, no complaints.<br/><br/>The only thing bad was the gold benefits.<br/><br/>We ordered two steam rice and some other items.<br/>They didn't even gave gold benefits on STEAM RICE!! No gold benefits at all.<br/><br/>They are placing EVEN steam rice under special menu, I mean seriously?? At least as a customer courtesy they should be giving that. What happened to that. That is a big joke to Zomato Gold.

The place looks good and the staff is really cordial, but I realized I'm not a great fan of North eastern cuisine. So if you think you'd like it, please drop by this place.

One of the best steak house in Bangalore and THE BEST for North Eastern Cuisine. Jumbo Prawns were my favorite. Lamb prepared in Manipuri style was awesome and you can have it by ordering 4-5 hrs prior to your visit over call.

Enjoy some mouthwatering food at an economic price.<br/><br/>Ambience was too good. The walls decorated with photos depicting north east culture along with brilliant music played in the background made our day. Staff was courteous.<br/>We ordered Japanese soupy beef noodles and hakka noodles. Beef steak was tender and yummy and hakka noodles with vegetables brilliant.<br/>The mocktail(cranberries) was a perfect way to end the meal. Walkable distance from mg road metro it is sure shot visit place for foodies....

This place was really good...the food was delicious, there was no Zomato gold on Steak, but the over all taste and presentation of each and every dish is mouthwatering. The staff is proactive and helpful. A good place to go for casual dining. Kudos!

We walked in with hopes of a good authentic Chinese food. The Tom Yum soup was okay and Chicken dumplings were pretty average. The Rock Shrimp Tempura is pretty good! The Nasi Goreng was delicious too as well as the Chicken Steak. Overall good service.

First impressions definitely not good. Maybe I walked in at a bad time. The air-con wasnt working due to so some power issues in the building. It was really hot especially since the space is closed without any ventilation which kinda killed the mood. Coming to the food, it was good although nothing amazing. The chilli chicken was not spicy at all (provided you did not eat the chillies). Hunan Jien Mein with pork it was like a chopsuey. It tasted good but the pork was 90% fat. I prefer a 50:50 meat to fat ratio.<br/><br/>Service was a little slow but the staff was very friendly and polite. They've made half of their menu as specials menu so that zomato gold or any other promotions are not applicable on them. So if u want the good stuff, no discounts.

Love love loved the flavors! Got some pretty authentic stuff on their menu that is served to perfection. I loved their cutlery too!<br/>Hats off to the souls in the kitchen and also the service was on point as well.<br/>Must try if you love great food. We enjoyed the meal very much.<br/>Chicken hakka style and Hua Jein Mein beef was what we tried. Yum!

Located in the famous church street, this place is must try if u r looking to have some unique food dishes. First of the place is small and ambiance is nothing to look forward to. Gets very dark at night.<br/>Place is pretty good to huukah and grab a snack, and would highly recommend the huukah here.<br/>Coming to the food they have a wide variety of food ranging for chicken to snails.<br/>I tried the snails for the first time and it was actually very good. I would highly recommend this.<br/>All the other items from chicken to beef to shrimps were also good.<br/>Please do try it out, they even have silk worms and other crazy things šŸ¤£
