This is a place that we keep going to over the years, for yummy Indian food. To say that this place is under estimated is an under statement. It is easy to miss but I would definitely recommend giving it a chance.
Ambience: Old school but comfortable, spacious and clean. The restaurant is spread over two floors and is air conditioned. It sees all kinds of eaters, both groups of mens and families.
Food: We ended up going her for our regular Saturday luncheon. The fruit punch here is a must try and so is the tomato soup. For starters, we ordered the chilli chicken and paneer tikka, both delectable and well flavoured.
For the main course, we had an assortment of naans and kulchas, jeera rice along with Veg Jalfrezi, Methi chicken and Dal makhani. The food was amazing.
Overall, a great experience with good food and courteous service.
Been here with family on a rainy day in Bangalore. And all we had were starters. Coz they were amazing. Just the starters under mangalorean cuisine made up our day. Should try them again.
Been here many a times, friendly service and super food (i had veg only). Only draw back is people smoke which disturbs the family. I recommend u to visit.

Tomato paneer bartha is a must try here, peas masala fry and dry are good,fried rice is a speciality.
good quality of food ..... order selective items ... nice ambiance but the quality of service can be improved ... nice place to have a drink anyday !

I am sure, everyone in the Soba would be aware of this place. This use to be one of the best place for North Indian food & well known place for affordable priced drinks. During the early stages of my corporate career, I use to visit. They have numerous options for Veg & Non Vegetarians under Chinese & North Indian Categories. We always use to stick with Baby Corn Manchurian, Paneer Chilli & some regular North Indian Main Courses. These dishes were consistent with Quality & Taste. However, I have noticed a drastic change during my last visit. It was kind of step back situation. Probably, they will improve & give us the good old experience. Service has to be improved big time!
A place to visit if you are a coastal food lover. Has a history of being one of the prime family bar and restaurants in Jayanagar for over more than decades now. Biryani is incomparable. Simply yummy. But for a family bar, to me the prices are a bit on the higher side. Else, any day you feel like enjoying coastal heritage food, this is the place. One of those bars run by highly qualified techies and MBA grads is what I know!
It was once started as a casual bar a family restaurant .....famous fr it's paneer butter masala and kalmi kabab .....now its near NTT data..... Taste is just awesome,prices are a little high ......but worth it...fruit punch a must try....😁
Food is Good, Especially starters like Chicken Ghee roast and had visited around 5 times till now... Please try Special Egg Biriyani which was very tasty.Presentation of the waiters should be improved since I don't see any one even smile at customers, they do it for sake of doing it. Rest all are Good as per the taste .
It used to be an old shady bar that shifted places and look. Today its among the better places in the south for dinner and drinks. Decent place, food not extraordinary but good. So with their drinks.
It's not in a building which looks like a restaurant ( that's probably the reason I was the only customer) . That's the main problem.

Nice cozy place for a dinner either with friends or with family. The place is conveniently located in South bangalore. There is parking for both cars and bikes so no problem with that. The ambience inside is pretty good. There is a separate section for family. Also there is a designated smoking zone. So every category of diner is taken care. The staff are very courteous and efficient. The food here is very tasty too. If you are a spicy food lover then you will love the food here. There is also a big screen which screen matches, so that the diners can enjoy the match along with the food. Overall a very nice place to hangout.
Been here since 2007 is one of favorite family restaurant most of the food items are good and here they have everything separate like smoking, non smoking and Family section in order to main privcey to family people. Weekends will be always crowded after 9 PM onwords. If you visit once you might like it.
Very nice ambience. The food is good in taste. Very good for family. The only draw back is that the location. It is very difficult to find a parking spot.

Nice food,nice ambience.thangadi kabab is excellent .full marks to cheff.but the rates charging for fish items is very high. Even though the fish rates are seasonal,its very high.the management is robbing customers in seafood.next time we have to think twice while ordering fish items.quantity is also very less when compate to other starters.otherwise food quality is very good.good night.
