A modest take away place in Jayanagar that has been serving Maharashtrian cuisine for over 15 years. Items like vada pav, dabeli, thalipeeth, sabudana vada, khichdi, etc. are served here. I have been coming here occasionally for a number of years. And I have to say that some still have the same flavour and quality.
The dishes are prepared fresh to order and are tasty. The vada pav, sabudana vada, and dabeli are all delicious here.
The dishes are absolutely good, especially with the imli chutney and garlic powder.
You will have to wait a while before receiving your order.
For the price charged, the portion size is smaller due to the imli chutney and garlic powder used in the dishes. However, the calibre is good.
Great place for tasty Maharashtrian dishes. Very humble setting. Spice alert : Misal, vada pav can make some people sweat ! Taste is still authentic, staff is helpful, hence highly recommended. As the place is off the road ,some extra precautions by owner for hygiene is recommend due to roaming rodents nearby.
A small eat out in Jayanagar serving Maharastrian style food from more than 15 years now. This place serves items like vada pav, dabeli, thalipeeth, sabudana vada, khichdi etc. I have been visiting this place on and off from quite a few years. And I must that the taste and quality of a few items have remained the same.
The food is freshly made on order and tastes good. I love the vada pav, sabudana vada and the dabeli here.
The imli chutney and the garlic powder used in the dishes is really delicious.
I would say this is quite an expensive place when compared to others. You will also have to wait for for a long time to get your order.
For the price charged, the portion size is less. But the quality is good.
Rajvardhan food at Jayanagar 9th block is well known for its authentic Maharashtrian foods.
We tried puri subzi with shrikand and pav bhaji.
However, best dish turned out to be pav bhaji.
Pav is soft and fluffy , bhaji has perfect pinch of spices and right proportion of masalas.
Puri was fine, subzi had lesser salt and masala on it, hoping to taste a better and good version of subzi next time.
This is one of the Maharashtrian food joint situated in tiny lanes of Jayanagar near Big Bazar and Central Mall.
They serve different varieties of Maharashtrian food and snacks item. I felt little bit expensive as compared to the quantity. But food quality and taste is good. Ambience is ok.
Overall it's a good experience.
Must try: Thalipeeth, Sabudana Vada
This place was on my list for the longest period of time, but for some or the other reason couldn't visit it. Finally when we did, I just fell in love with d food.
Located in d street right opp to Jpnagar bangalore central. U get parking easily here. It's a fast food, self service kinda joint. Serves an array of maharastrian dishes like sabudana khichdi, Misal, poha etc.
Place is clean and well maintained, though its been there for years. Don't expect any kinda ambience, just go there for d food. They serve in eco friendly cutlery.
We tried their Misal Pav and Kanda Poha. Loved both of them. Misal was yummy and filling. Poha is made fresh and served garma Garam, just d way we like it.
Highly recommended 👍

Authentic Maharashtrian taste.
Everything is so old recipe styled, no nonsense innovation and messing up with these memorable all time snacks.
Vada pav is a must try
This is an amazing place ❤️ especially for maharashtrian food lover's.
We tried almost all items from here they're literally yummy I can't really don't want to rank them by item.
But if you ask my personal choice try sabhudana vada and vada pav and sabhudhana kichidi they are lip smacking good.
This is the place I was looking for ;) A place for Maharashtrian food. Though I cannot call it authentic Maharashtrian food, the taste is familiar to one I had in Pune..
The service is very quick, the staff are very friendly..
Should improve on giving value for money,it's tad bit expensive for the food quantity they offer
Taste- 4.2/5.0
Quality- 4.2/5.0
Ambience- 3.5/5.0
Value for money- 3.8/5.0
Must try: Misal Pav, Upvas Thalipet, Sabudana vada, Dabeli
Vada pav was okish
A tiny stand and eat popular eatery in 9th Block Jayanagar Bangalore near the Big Bazaar. We had a take-away consisting of Misal Pav, Sabudhana Vada and Vada Pav. The Vadas were fried hot and crisp right before you. The Vada Pav was fantastic. The Sabudhana Vada is served with a Green Chutney and Sweet Curds. Misal Pav consists of Thambde Rasa, Fresh fluffy Pav, a packet of Farsan, chopped onions and quarters of lime. We found the Thambde Rasa not upto the standards. But other items were good.
They also have a lot of other Maharashtrian varieties.
The fare is slightly higher on the spicy side but we enjoyed it.
