This place serves the biggest paranthas in bangalore with green chutney and self made butter. Also they serve lassi bucket. The ambience is desi types and the food is also good.
Ordered paratha for the 1st time - Paneer peas. Packaging was good, came in hot.
Huge paratha, mainly because it's in layers. Amt. Of butter packaged was good, the pickle was tasty, raita was good, the green chutney was hot (teekha in Hindi). Sufficient for 2-3 folks.
Personally I would have preferred the paratha to be more hot/spicy, but since people have diff preferences, the paratha was good to taste (felt a bit bland to me, but with chutney felt good).
I would like to have more of raita and chutney.
All in all, I should say it was good and we enjoyed. Cannot have everyday, else ur bank accnt would dry up pretty soon.
We all must have an heard n seen the gigantic parantha where 4-5 people cannot even compete one Partha so well this is the place where you can find such paratha with ghar ka butter, chutneys. You will find Partha in 3 sizes n both in veg n non veg varieties also the starters are pretty good here where quality is the main focus overall good place to hang out some Parthas
One of their parantha was more than enough for the two of us, and the lassi goes well with it :) great experience!
The biggest paranthas in the town with full stuffing and great taste. They served paranthas with green chutney, curd and selfmade butter. The lassis were also so good that they remind me of my hometown "Haryana".
Better go for plain lassi. And gobi paneer parantha is my favourite
Aloo paratha is so yum ..Everyone should come and try once ...it is mouth watering..best service ...you will gonna luv it..😋
Amazing parathas!!! Loved the food❤️. The staff is really sweet. They have a beautiful ambience. It's worth it🙃
You need atleast 3 people to finish their smallest paratha. Imagine how big would be their biggest one. By far, the best stuffed paratha I've ever had and the Lassi was out of this world.
Want to have the biggest paratha in town, go to mooch marod. I went to the Koramangala branch last week and saw they have paratha challenge. I was totally invested in having the huge paratha with a bucket of lassi as a challenge, but didn’t win. The paratha has a diameter of 24 inches, which was too difficult for me to finish alone, asked my friends to join me as I had already lost it.
The paratha I tried was aloo onion paratha, the stuffing is was evenly distributed and perfectly spiced, good they always ask your spice tolerance.
I also tried the matar paneer paratha, was a nice choice as the paneer was fresh.
I tried the Chandan (sandalwood) lassi, which was really unique, mild essence of sandalwood, took a sip from my friend’s lassi too, he ordered special dry fruit lassi.
I had a great time, the service is quit fast and I really liked the desi setting, sat down for food after ages.
My only suggestion would be that it would be nice if they can also add some sweet parathas, something like meva paratha.
The biggest parathas that you can find in bangalore! The parathas are absolutely delicious, filled with flavourful. The variety of fillings they offer is impressive, and the portions are generous.
You get 4 sizes called prince, queen, king and emperor! An emperor sized paratha would be enough for at least 5 persons.
The same goes for their variety of Lassis! The mooch marod special lassi that i tried was really good. Queen sized glass is more than enough for anyone!
They have also introduced non-veg starters at this outlet and all the dishes are superb. Chicken Angaara smoked is a must try.
The service provided was very good plus the food served was delicious. However it's a warning for those cutting on oils as butter is rich here in foods.
The size of parantha gets really big.
The place is very good for eating in groups with friends or family.
Their parathas are huge, and delicious. Photo added shows just a quarter of the 15" paratha, so you get the idea! If you like desi butter, do get it added, as they give a big dollop to cover the whole paratha. And their thick lassis (My suggestion: Kesar Pista) are also a must try. So worth the price. The variety of accompaniments provided are tasty and authentic to the vibe.
Moreover, the ambience is pretty cool as well. They have a sandy floor, and the customers are advised to go in barefoot, which gives an outdoor eating experience within the building.
Only drawback was the delayed service. For a restaurant with customers in only 2 of the available tables, and abt 4-5 staff in the kitchen, the food was delivered pretty slow.
Love the place and vibe exactly feels like dhaba floor is covered with mud and the taste of food is also good if you are a Paratha lover then you must this place they have varities of veg and non parathas with type of flavored lassi
We only had 1 paratha (which was equal to 4 normal sized parathas ), and the taste was good.
The ambience was okay, I believe they have shifted to a different place because the pictures I saw on Google were different.
This place is located just opposite the Koramangala bus depot. I love the ambience (lot of coir beds where you can sit and relax while you eat). Coming to the food- its better to come here with friends and family to enjoy the quantity of food they serve(the paranthas are quite big). Food is good and lassis are also filling ( this place can give you a food coma))
Mooch marod is an amazing place to have some lipsmacking parathas in all sizes. They have both Veg and non veg options. They have Punjabi Dhaba vibes.Apart from parathas and lassi they also serve other finger licking delicacies.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mooch Madod 📍 in Koramangala, and I must say it was quite an enjoyable experience. Located in the heart of the city, the restaurant exudes an inviting ambiance with a blend of vibrant colour and traditional dhaba style decor, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
The first thing that struck me upon entering was the friendly and attentive staff. They greeted me with warm smiles and were quick to seat me at a comfortable table. The service throughout the time was impeccable, with the servers being knowledgeable about the menu and more than willing to offer recommendations based on individual preferences.
Now, let's talk about the food. Mooch Marod specializes in North Indian cuisine, and it truly delivers on the promise of authentic flavors. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes, ranging from classic tandoori items like afgani chicken kebab, tangadi kebab to rich curries and the highlight is the emperor paratha available in both veg & nonveg options. This 24" paratha is good enough to share with 6 people and serve alongside their special mattha butter & curds. I ordered the signature aloo paneer paratha. Also, they recently started serving varieties of delicious Chinese sizzler combos and starters. I ordered the chicken momos which were served hot & stuffed with the fillings. The portion quantity is also up-to the mark.
In beverages, I tried their litchi lassi, masala chaas and both of these were totally refreshing.
The pricing at Mooch Marod is reasonable considering the quality and taste of the food. It is suitable for both casual dining and special occasions, making it a versatile choice for different occasions.
Overall, I had a wonderful dining experience at Mooch Marod. The excellent service, delightful North Indian dishes, and charming ambiance make it a great spot for a satisfying meal...
Really really tasty paranthas and the butter is just amazing. Try their mint chaas, it’s refreshing. The ambience is amazing as well.
One star deducted for price and having to remove our shoes outside(no way to clean feet).
Basically, the parantha was said to fulfil both our stomachs which didn’t happened and we still had to eat something else outside.
And it’s sand on the floor inside for the vibe so we have to remove our shoes outside, however there is no way to clean the sand after we go out. No mat or water or anything to clean.
Must visit place for those who are Authentic Punjabi food lovers😍 Ambience is great with vibrant colours inside and Food taste will never disappoint you. One must visit place with friends and family 🤝
