Everything is simply good and wonderful to taste seen this shop grow it's was a small shop .. the sweets are amazing now the chats are even better their mixtures and murukus are mind blowing... Rawa ladoo is so original it will bring u back childhood memories.

Great place hidden on the bylanes of Commercial Street for chats, sweets and snacks. This is a very old place and most of the old Bengalureans knows this place very well. I love their chats, which is better than any other place near Commercial Street. Their Gulab Jamoon is awesome (similar to a popular Bengali sweet - 'Lyangcha') . And the prices are economical too when compared to other popular shops.
Must visit if you are hungry and want to have some snacks while shopping at Commercial Street.
P.S. - Don't judge by the approach, the approach might be little filthy but the shop is extremely clean and hygienic.
One of the best sweet shops in Bangalore. The shop is in a narrow lane away from Commercial street and it is sometimes difficult to locate- I admit I got lost a number of times while trying to locate the shop. But the sweets available are totally worth the effort. I frequently use to buy sweets from there for any occasion and my parents still ask me to bring sweets from there when I travel home to Assam.
Don't be deceived by the external appearance of this Sweet shop. It is located on a narrow busy road, 2 streets away from Commercial Street. You have to weave through many gallis to finally reach there. But once you do, its heaven.
The chaats are extremely tasty and the portions are quite large. One Bhel Puri can easily be shared by 2 people.
My favorite sweet here is Gulab Jamun. It is made in a sausage shape and is very succulent and tasty.
Overall, a place you must visit every time you go shopping at Commercial Street.
Located in a narrow street and yet busy.Their Gulab jamuns are my all time favorites.Yummy sweets and savories at affordable prices.Packing is good.Service is also quick.The only thing they mess up is that they make a big fuss in accepting cards.One person says swipe machine fault,other person says 'wait i vl try'.Otherwise a good place for people with sweet tooth.

This shop is known for many years. Very hygenic and excellent taste using pure ghee is maintained since inception. Variety of sweets and khara include 'sweet & khara' mixture, Rava Laduu, Adarsam (Hindus prepare for Dipawali at their homes), Somas, Muruku and so on..... ...... Staff very sincere and cooperative. I have ordered here for many occasions, such as, Vazaikappu, Seemantham, etc., which they prepare afresh and on time with nice packing ..... and worth too. The price is comparatively cheaper with excellent taste. Thanks to entire team of Santhanam.
It's a old landmark of shivajinagar. mantapa need maintenance & renovation structure and build quality of building is excellent . people most use mantapa like garbage not keeping clean.
For small function it’s a nice place hall is not so big, 200 people can dine at one time and parking is not sufficiently made may be 7 cars can be parked in the underground parking space. On the road it’s impossible to park as it is very busy.

One of the best in this area. Excellently maintained Kalyan Mantap since from day one. We were the consulting engineers for them. Owners are very co - operative & humble people.
Very big function hall with lot of rooms available and lot of space available, only problem is parking here, located in heart of city.
Kalyanamantapa is good. Centrally located. But no parking place. One has to rely upon private parking places.
